When Sam proposed to Whittney he already knew he wanted a simple Maui Beach Elopement. Making our team the perfect option for their wedding coordinator! They started planning their elopement last summer but then Sam’s father became ill and they had to put everything on hold.
And since they hadn’t officially booked with us we were thrilled when they reached out at the end of May to see if there was any way we could still book a wedding for them on their dream date, 6/6/19. Which was less than 2 weeks away! But thankfully we were still available and able to plan everything for them! We love that the Maui Beach Elopement this couple had been dreaming of was finally made a reality and that we were able to participate in making it all happen. This couple chose the perfect location for their Maui Destination Wedding! They decided to have their ceremony on the grassy area just above Maluaka Beach. This way our bride’s father could access it with his wheelchair and they’d still have stunning views with the ocean nearby.
It was important to Corissa that both her dad and Bradley didn’t see the bride until she was walking down the aisle! So even though they all arrived together, the guys were in the front seat keeping their eyes on the road so they wouldn’t see Corissa in her wedding dress. Prior to the ceremony beginning our bride and her father shared a first look moment, which was just the sweetest thing! And then it was finally time for our groom to turn around and see the love of his life walking towards him so they could say, “I do” in paradise.
One thing’s for sure, this was a Maui Destination Wedding to remember and we are so glad we got to be part of it! Thank you, Corissa and Bradley, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

We always love when a vacation turns into a Maui Vow Renewal! And love the story of how Elizabeth and Robert decided to celebrate with loved ones. First they had the Hawaii vacation planned and then they decided to get family pictures while they were here. Then Robert got Elizabeth new wedding rings for their 20th anniversary. So they decided to have a whole ceremony while here!
Robert hadn’t seen Elizabeth’s dress so they came to the beach separately so they wouldn’t see each other before the big moment. We love that they brought this traditional touch to their Maui Vow Renewal! This couple had been to Maui before but first time for the rest of the family so it was a really special experience. We were honored to be part of Kimberly and Marlon’s Maui Destination Wedding! These two could not have been sweeter or more in love. And were an absolute blast to work with! One of our favorite parts of helping plan a couple’s wedding day is hearing the story of how they met. What started out as friends for Kimberly and Marlon eventually led them to where they are today! They went to the same high school, graduated with different sweethearts and reconnected after college. With a solid foundation of friendship set, we have no doubt these two will have a long and happy life together!
The moment our bride made her entrance at Gannon’s her groom started tearing up, and she followed suit soon after! They exchanged the sweetest vows, that had everyone tearing up throughout the entire ceremony. No worries tough, there definitely wasn’t any ugly crying 😉 . How could there be when they’re all so gorgeous!? One thing’s for sure, this was a Maui Destination Wedding to remember. Working with Hannah and Cody as we helped plan their Maui Destination Wedding was an absolute pleasure. They couldn’t have been sweeter or more in love! After getting ready for her big day, our bride was more than ready to head down to the beach to say, “I do”.
And she sure did look beautiful in a wedding dress by Kenneth Winston. We love when bride’s wear elegant wedding gowns even for ceremonies on the beach! On your wedding day there is no such thing as being overdressed. It was especially touching to witness as Hannah made her way down the aisle and leaned over to her daughter, Naya. We could not have asked for a more magical evening for Andrea and Taylor’s Maui Beach Wedding. I mean just check out that gorgeous lighting! Especially as the sun was setting. Surrounded by loved ones at Po’olenalena Beach, our bride and groom were more than ready to say, “I do” in paradise!
One thing’s for sure, this was definitely a Maui Beach Wedding to remember. We’re confident this couple and their wedding guests will never forget, we know we sure won’t! After taking sunset wedding portraits with our sister company, our newlyweds headed to Tommy Bahama for a special celebratory dinner. The perfect ending to an already perfect day! Surrounded by loved ones, including Aaron’s two sons Jack and Max, this bride and groom were so excited to say, “I do” at their Maui Destination Wedding. And after meeting 5 years ago this couple was more than ready to get married! We especially love how Misty wrote her own vows to Aaron’s sons. It was a truly touching moment and one we know none of them will ever forget!
After their ceremony, and taking a few gorgeous portraits with our sister company our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with more wedding festivities. From dinner to dancing and a cake cutting ceremony, this was a truly memorable Maui Destination Wedding. We love all these candid shots from Misty and Aaron’s reception because they perfectly capture the love and joy that was in the air at Gannon’s. The evening ended with the most magical sunset shining down on our happy couple! Talk about a perfect ending to an already perfect day! Coming from Seattle this bride and groom visit the island every year, making a Maui Destination Wedding the perfect option for them! And we are thrilled that we got to help them plan this very special day. After dating in high school and then reconnecting years later, Krisha and Michael have now been together for ten years and were more than ready to get married!
Their Maui Destination Wedding at Polo Beach could not have been more perfect! We especially love that this couple decided to include a traditional Jewish glass breaking after their ceremony. Personal touches like this always make for memorable moments! One thing’s for sure, this is a day neither of them will ever forget 🙂 . Julia and Vincent chose to have their Maui Venue Wedding at a separate location at one of our most popular wedding venues. Gannon’s Molokini Lookout set higher up on a big grassy lawn. Due to a delay in some of their wedding guests, this couple decided to take wedding portraits prior to their ceremony beginning. It was so sweet to see them interact together during these quiet moments!
One reason we love the option of a Maui Venue Wedding is that it gives you more flexibility with your guest list. Due to Hawaii regulations, you can only have 30 wedding guests at the beach, but Gannon’s Molokini Lookout is a large enough setting for a big wedding party. So after taking group photos here, they all headed down to Gannon’s reception area to continue the celebration! Thank you, Julia and Vincent, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding! As Ry and Samir gathered with their closest friends and family for their Maui Beach Wedding we knew this would be a day to remember! Especially since this couple hadn’t seen some of their loved ones in a long time. With Samir being in the military moving a lot comes with the territory. And Ry has always been the best partner for him, supporting him no matter what! Even though they actually got married a few years ago, our groom knew his bride deserved a very special wedding and he had an amazing day planned for her!
Ry and Samir are originally from Washington and are true nature lovers, so they had a lot of appreciation for Maui and the beautiful ocean. They truly fit right in! And although they dream of being stationed in Texas one day who knows maybe they will end up in Hawaii! Or at least back for a visit 🙂 . We were thrilled when Bria and Michael’s Maui Destination Wedding day finally arrived! Not only was it a beautiful day, but it was also full of excitement. This bride knew she wanted to get married at Poolenalena Beach for two years! So you can imagine how happy she was to finally say, “I do ” on this sandy shore.
And this location definitely didn’t disappoint! I mean just look at it! There was an extra high tide during their ceremony and just before they exchanged leis, a wave surged up almost wetting Bria’s dress. So we quickly moved the ceremony near a tree further inshore. With loved ones, including Bria’s daughter Kaylee standing nearby, this bride and groom were more than ready to get married!
After their first kiss, Bria’s sister played “Under the Sea” from the Little Mermaid. And then it was time for wedding portraits prior to a celebratory dinner at Nick’s Fishmarket. Where Bria had her first Goldfish cracker snacks after a year and a half of being on a paleo diet! We loved watching her celebrate in this simple yet enjoyable way 🙂 . The festive ocean theme of this Maui Destination Wedding made for a very memorable evening for all.
