Their shared love for surfing, enjoying the company of friends, and their beloved 2-year-old puppy, Saki, epitomizes the sheer delight they find in life’s simple pleasures.

We recently had the absolute honor of being a part of Ed and Mae’s lighthearted and joy-filled Maui venue wedding, and let us tell you, these two couldn’t be more deserving of a wonderful day! This incredible couple’s love story began at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa, where they both worked side by side for a whole year without ever exchanging a word. It wasn’t until two days before Mae was flying out to the Philippines that Ed mustered up the courage to message her on Instagram. Little did they know that this simple message would change their lives forever.

After reconnecting online, Ed and Mae decided to meet in person, and from that moment on, they became inseparable. Then, COVID hit, and they found themselves spending every single day together. This time spent in each other’s company allowed them to truly get to know one another, forming a deep bond that only grew stronger with each passing day…so without further adieu, keep reading to see more of their incredible day!

Living in Lahaina their whole lives, Ed and Mae faced a devastating loss when their homes were destroyed in a fire. But through it all, their love and resilience never faltered. They couldn’t have been more deserving of a special day to celebrate their love and start a new chapter together.

Amanda, a graduate student on the cusp of earning her master’s degree in psychology, is a licensed addiction counselor at their local mental health center in Billings, Montana. Her passion for helping others shines through in everything she does. In her rare moments of free time, she loves being outdoors and spending quality time with her beloved dog, Ruthy.

Mason, on the other hand, works as a financial advisor and has a deep love for golf, football, and water sports. With their shared interests and 4.5 years of togetherness, it’s clear that Amanda and Mason are a perfect match. China and Stephen’s Maui venue wedding day was an absolute dream come true! As software engineers by profession, they lead busy lives, but they always find time to enjoy family moments and play games together. Living in Denver, Colorado, China had always dreamed of getting married in Hawaii, and Stephen saw it as an opportunity to give his family a much-deserved island vacation.

Their love story began back in college when they were both teaching assistants for a computer science course at the University of Arizona. It didn’t take long for them to realize there was something special between them, and after graduation, they embarked on a journey together, living in California for seven years before moving to Colorado. With Brennan working as a project manager for a steel fabricator and Shandi as a customer service manager at a bank, they embraced the opportunity to escape the everyday stresses and create a magical day in paradise. Their wedding was an uplifting and happy occasion with a baby on the way and a shared love for travel and relaxation!
