Maui Venue Weddings

Tien and Jacqueline’s Maui venue wedding day at the Andaz Resort in Maui was a delightful celebration filled with joy, love, and the warmth of friends and family. Their journey began at a dental school’s welcome weekend in April 2019, where they quickly hit it off over dinner at the same restaurant. Their bond grew stronger over the summer, and by the time school started, they were inseparable.

Fast forward to May 2023, Tien and Jacqueline graduated, moved to Dallas, and began their careers in dentistry. Jacqueline practices as a general dentist, while Tien is completing his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). In their free time, they enjoy being homebodies with their four cats, dining out, playing pickleball, and binge-watching the latest shows and movies! Two peas in a pod! Tropical Elegance Done Right

Their proposal story is as enchanting as their wedding. Tien surprised Jacqueline with a proposal at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, using a ring his mother bought for him when he was four years old, reset in a simple golden band. How touching is that?! Just about the sweetest thing we’ve ever heard!

Choosing an intimate Maui wedding, they exchanged vows on the beautiful Laule’a 3 Lawn at Andaz Resort, marked by a stunning greenery arch. And of course the star of this site, the old-growth Kiawe tree! The ceremony was intimate and beautiful, reflecting their desire for a special moment shared with loved ones without the stress of a large, extravagant event..exactly what Simple Maui Wedding does best!

Jacqueline looked exquisite in her minimalist wedding dress, and Tien was handsome in a classic tux. They both were a sight to behold against the tropical greenery! Their happiness was contagious, radiating through every portrait… The newlywed portraits by the beach were especially romantic, capturing their love in the most picturesque setting. The sun, sea, and their glowing smiles made for truly unforgettable moments they will surely never forget! Our sweet couple were also blessed with an incredibly sublime sunset as you’ll see below!

We were honored to coordinate Joey and Sarah’s Maui venue wedding! They were surrounded by family and friends who all made the journey. The joy in their hearts was palpable throughout the whole day.

Sarah, a talented massage therapist, and Joey, a dedicated GM for Big O Tires, share a love for golf and their two beloved pit bull mix rescues. Treasured childhood memories of Joey’s inspired their decision to tie the knot in Maui. For Sarah, it was her first time experiencing the beauty of Hawaii, adding an extra layer of excitement to their special day.

Their journey together began unexpectedly on a dating app! But from their very first date, Sarah knew that Joey was the one. Sarah wasn’t even looking for a serious relationship but little did she know fate had another plan in store! Their relationship blossomed quickly, and four years later, Joey proposed on Sarah’s birthday! So without further adieu, keep reading to see more of their incredible day!

The day of their wedding at Merriman’s was nothing short of memorable. Bathed in the warm glow of the Maui sun, they exchanged vows right on the oceanfront lawn. Surrounded by their loved ones, it was a tender and sweet moment for them both.

The Best Idea Ever

They were originally planning a family getaway to Maui and thought why not get married here too? It all fell into place and made the most sense! After all, it’s an incredible place to not only tie the knot but spend your honeymoon too! We are thrilled to have made this all happen for them! Moreover, we know how significant it was to have Ernest Puaa minister their wedding one day for Joey!

After the ceremony, they stole away to the nearby beach with our photographer to capture a few intimate moments as husband and wife! Talk about honeymoon vibes…the color of the sky was a blessing for their next chapter!

Their love story began through the connection of a mutual friend, who happened to be Maggie’s childhood companion. And what a journey it has been since then! With Maggie’s move to San Diego to be with Skyler, their love blossomed amidst beach sunsets and playful moments with their beloved dog, Kuma.

Skyler’s proposal was nothing short of magical, a perfect ending to a challenging year. Swapping Kuma’s dog tag with one that read “Will you marry my daddy?” was a clever and heartwarming gesture that left Maggie speechless. How sweet is that? This brings us to their beautiful albeit a little rainy Maui venue wedding day at Gather. But the showers didn’t dampen the joyful mood and ambiance! They fell in love with Maui and its tropical charm and this venue had both the best of a beach and a venue rolled into one…

Their Maui wedding day may have started with a few sprinkles, but as they exchanged vows in the shelter, surrounded by the love of their closest friends and family, the rain only added to the magic of the moment. The Best Idea

When the idea of a Maui wedding venue popped into Carina’s mind, she knew it was the perfect fit for their laid-back yet romantic style. So, with excitement in their hearts and a little drizzle in the air (which, as they say, is good luck!), they said “I do” at Gather in Kihei. After all, it’s supposedly good luck!

The sprinkle of rain only added to the romance of the moment, making their ceremony even more unique. After exchanging vows, they sought shelter, finding solace in each other’s arms as they waited for the sky to clear.

But when it did, it was like a dream come true. With the sun peeking through the clouds, Carina and Oliver ventured down to Southside Beach for their newlywed portraits. Against the backdrop of the sparkling ocean, they radiated happiness and love.

Carina brought a touch of glam and sparkle to the occasion, while Oliver looked dapper as ever. We love the gold and black theme! Their smiles said it all – they were overjoyed to be starting this new chapter of their lives together!

Our lovebirds choose the charming Olowalu Plantation House for their Maui venue wedding. This venue is truly special, it has an authentic, old Hawaiian charm nestled right on the water. It’s truly a special venue! Their ceremony was held right under the big tree with the turquoise water in the distance. It was just the lush, tropical, and private setting these two envisioned!

Their sealed their vows with a kiss in the shade of the palm trees and with their bridal party. We love the olive green and beach tones they chose! It perfectly reflects the lush tropical colors of their Maui venue wedding. What’s more is that they sliced their wedding cake right on the patio surrounded by their cherished guests before taking a stroll as husband and wife on the property!

What’s better than a love story that starts with a chance encounter? Meet Ariel and Caleb, the dynamic duo whose journey to forever began with a serendipitous meeting and culminated in a breathtaking Maui venue wedding that was anything but predictable.

Caleb, the rugged outdoorsman with a heart of gold, swept Ariel off her feet with his genuine charm and unwavering love. After 7.5 years of adventures and laughter, they found themselves on a plane bound for Maui, with Ariel unsuspecting of the surprise awaiting her.

Now, let us tell you a little something about this delightful couple. Will, a Senior Manager of a data science team, and An, a pharmacist with a heart of gold, are the epitome of a power couple. And while they may not have kids just yet, their love for each other knows no bounds, and they’re definitely looking forward to expanding their family in the future.

With its lush landscapes and stunning vistas, it was the perfect backdrop for their love story to unfold. Neither have been to Hawaii but it’s been on their bucket list for forever!

Their venue of choice? None other than the luxurious Four Seasons Maui, where the sun shines brighter, the plumeria trees sway gently in the breeze overlooking the south shore. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, An and Will exchanged vows in a ceremony that was as elegant as it was heartfelt.

But the magic didn’t stop there! Oh no, the happy couple took full advantage of the stunning scenery for their newlywed Maui venue wedding portraits, capturing every precious moment against the backdrop of Maui’s natural beauty. We can’t get enough of this venue simply because there are so many picturesque options for portraits after saying “I, do!” And the best part? The beach is just out front!

As the sun began to lower, Mary and Joshua stole away around the property and to the beach for newlywed portraits, capturing the romance of the moment against the backdrop of the vibrant Maui sunset. Andrea and Jacob’s Maui venue wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and beachy vibes, reflecting their unique love story and shared adventures. Andrea, a dedicated dental hygienist, and Jacob, who recently obtained his bachelor’s degree in computer science, are a dynamic duo who share their lives with their two fur babies and have just bought a new home together. Amidst busy schedules filled with wedding planning and home decor projects, they found time to create a wedding celebration with the help of our team which truly represented their love and personalities. Ready For Our Vows

Opting for an intimate destination wedding in Maui with only immediate family, Andrea and Jacob wanted a ceremony that broke away from tradition and offered a memorable experience for all involved. The choice to have their ceremony at the picturesque Kapalua at the Steeple House, set against a stunning floral arch, added a touch of elegance to their beachy affair. Surrounded by loved ones, they exchanged vows in a setting that felt both special and uniquely theirs.

With a history intertwined with water – from meeting on a fishing dock to getting engaged on a beach in Key West – it was only fitting that they continued their love story by saying “I do” in Hawaii. The newlywed portraits by the water captured their happiness and the shimmering beauty of the ocean, symbolizing the strong theme of water running through their relationship. Their Maui venue wedding was exactly the day that they envisioned! Andrea looked incredibly standing on the cliffside in her white gown. A true vision! And Jacob looked very handsome in his linen sand-colored suit. Together, they make such a gorgeous couple! We couldn’t be happier for them…
