Malaya & Jarquece are first-timers to Hawaii and we can’t think of a better time to visit than for their Maui Wedding! It was a perfect afternoon for sharing nuptials along the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The sun was shining, the breeze was light, and their close family and friends were in attendance to share in the moment with them! It was so important to them to give their families a different experience for their wedding and bringing them to Maui was just that!

Malaya & Jarquece are high school sweethearts. They knew each other for a few years and became close friends before they actually started dating. It became clear to Jarquece that he wanted Malaya to be his princess forever. He proposed to her back in 2018 on a trip to Miami for her birthday. These two seem to enjoy the warmer, tropical weather, and we’re so glad they decided on Maui for their wedding.
This gorgeous couple chose 5 Palms, which sits right in front of Keawekapu Beach. It’s really the best of both worlds because you can enjoy an intimate ceremony with your close family and friends, then walk right out to the beach for pictures. We really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know their sweet family! We hope you enjoy the pictures of their special wedding day.

Malaya looked absolutely stunning and she took Jarquece’s breath away as she walked down the aisle to him. Jarquece was looking pretty dapper himself in his maroon suit, Louis Vuitton belt, and white sneakers! Loving the unique style here!!

This Maui sunset was one for the record books on Malaya & Jarquece’s Maui wedding day. The purples and oranges painted across the sky created an epic backdrop for their couple’s portraits.

Mahalo Malaya & Jarquece for choosing Simple Maui Wedding! You were such a pleasure to work with and we wish the very best for you two!!

When your love is strong, and your bond is unbreakable, not even a global pandemic is going to get in the way! Samolia and Mark had originally planned for a beach wedding but switched to a Maui venue wedding at Gannon’s due to permitting group size restrictions. The intimate, quiet setting proved to be a lovely place to say “I do”.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds went down to the beach to get some iconically beautiful beach pictures. Being flexible is the key to having an enjoyable wedding in these uncertain times and we are so happy that Samolia and Mark chose us to help them through and make sure they had an amazing day!

Mark & Samolia celebrated their 5 year Anniversary on the first day of their marriage! It was clear during their vows that these two have so much love for each other. The both shed tears and so did their family and friends who shared in the moment with them!

Southside Beach was just a hop, skip and a jump away from Gannon’s and Samolia & Mark were sure to take advantage. Most of our private venues have a beach just a short drive or walk away from the ceremony location.

It was a perfect evening, a perfect sunset, and we got to share it with two very special people. Mahalo Samolia & Mark for giving us the honor of planning your Maui venue wedding. You were such a pleasure to work with and we wish you two many years of love and happiness.

For some couples, a destination wedding in paradise just seems out of reach. They prefer to celebrate back home where all their friends and family can attend. Others, like Tathiane & Joe believe a venue wedding in Maui is the perfect setting for a dream wedding! We asked the happy couple, “why a destination wedding in Maui?” They replied, “Because Maui is Our Place!”
Tathiane & Joe have been coming to Maui for the past 3 years together. It has become such a extraordinary place for them, they knew having their wedding in Maui was an absolute must. This beautiful couple was so excited that so many of their family and friends were able to join them in this momentous time in their lives.
Tathiane & Joe are a blended family of 6. This marriage was not only a union of the bride and groom but the uniting of two families into one. They included their 4 kids in the ceremony standing by their sides as they became one single family. It was a beautiful afternoon for a wedding and we are honored they chose Simple Maui Wedding to be a part of it!

A few tears were shed during their heartfelt vows as tears from the heavens also flowed. After their vows though, the rain stopped and they were blessed with a beautiful rainbow. The timing could not have been more perfect. Clearly they had someone watching over them and sharing in that exchange.

Michelle & John were forced to just go with the flow this year! Like so many other couples their wedding plans had to be changed many times due to Covid. It’s funny though how sometimes things come together and you realize they are just as they should be. Having a small, intimate Maui Venue Wedding turned out perfect for these two. They were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by swaying palms and their closest family and friends.
The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins are our newest venue here on Maui. They offer a lush tropical setting in the historic ruins of the Kilohani Church. This is the perfect spot to say “I do” if you have over 8 guests. Beach weddings are currently restricted to 10 people total including vendors, but a private venue offers more flexibility.

A butterfly fluttered around them during the ceremony. Michelle felt that it was a sign from her grandmother being their for their special moment.

Michelle & John still hope to have a big wedding at home in 2021, but just in case that doesn’t work out, they’ve at least had a great wedding here in Hawaii!

John proposed to Michelle with the help of a sweet puppy last December. The puppy had a collar around it’s neck that read “Will you marry me?” Well played John!! A puppy is definitely the way to a woman’s heart!!

Joy & David booked their Maui Venue Wedding a few months ago and we were all on the edge of our seats seeing if the state would open up for tourism in time. Thankfully the state travel regulations changed and everything just fell into place. Joy & David were able to get here with their closest family and friends and they enjoyed an intimate ceremony at the 5 Palms.
The morning of the wedding they were singing “Going to the Chapel and we’re gonna to get ma-a-a-rried” as they were playfully getting ready! They enjoyed that song so much that they decided to play it just before Joy walked down the aisle to David. The love and excitement that Joy & David share is so special! They were blessed with a rainbow just after their ceremony and they consider that a sign of good luck! We would have to agree, and we feel very lucky that you chose us to be a part of your special day.

We could see a rain shower slowly headed our way during the wedding & couples pictures afterwards but luckily it held off and they got great sunset shots, which was their dream for the wedding!

Mahalo Joy & David for choosing us to be a part of your Maui Venue Wedding. It was a pleasure working with you and meeting your beautiful families!!

Nicole & Avery, like so many couples, were blindsided by Covid-19 lockdowns and had planned a larger Maui venue wedding with friends and family. With restrictions on group size, restrictions on travel, and a statewide shutdown, Nicole & Avery had to put their backup plan into motion.
This beautiful couple thought 10/10/20 would be a perfect wedding date and decided to move forward with a simple plan. They found the perfect ceremony location and invited their closest family and friends to keep the group size down! We had to agree, this was the perfect backup plan and we were so excited to make it happen.
Their wedding venue, the King Kamehameha Golf Club, offers a beautiful mountainside setting overlooking central Maui. This private ceremony spot just past the Marilyn Monroe house sits right above a waterfall and pond and overlooks the golf course. Reverend Richardo officiated their intimate ceremony and pronounced Nicole & Avery husband and wife as their immediate family watched along! Sometimes the backup plan turns out to be the perfect plan and we’re reminded that everything is meant to be as it is!

Nicole & Avery’s little girl Aubrey couldn’t make it through the ceremony but she sure was adorable sleeping in her mommy and daddy’s arms afterwards. What a special moment for this sweet little family to share their love and commitment for each other.

Nicole & Avery met while Avery was working at Nicole’s Dad’s restaurant, Gianotto’s Pizza! We can all agree that Gianotto’s is a pillar in our community but we had no idea it was also a place where one can find their soulmate! Singles, take note!

After their ceremony we took full advantage of the picturesque setting on the side of Pu’ukukui Mountain range. The sun was shining, love was in the air, and we sure enjoyed capturing it.

Mahalo Nicole & Avery for choosing Simple Maui Wedding to coordinate your very special day! It was such a pleasure meeting with you and we look forward to seeing you around in Wailuku town!

The secret is out… and we’re thrilled to announce our newest Maui wedding venue — The King Kamehameha Golf Club! Lux and elegant, this property was created using authentic 1950’s blueprints by Frank Loyd Wright, including details for a house designed for the queen of beauty herself — Marilyn Monroe. To welcome this gorgeous venue into the fold, we got together with our favorite vendors and organized a styled-shoot worthy of any pop culture icon!
Built in 1993, this Maui wedding venue is decked out with modern utilities while still maintaining the original Frank Loyd Wright design. With sweeping bi-coastal views and a convenient central-Maui location, the King Kamehameha Golf Club is a must-see for those in love with art deco glam!

For our ceremony shots, we utilized the lovely Kahalawai terrace. Located on the west end of the property, this sweet grassy lawn overlooks towering pines, both coastlines, and the expanse of Maui.
To emphasize all the retro glam of this Maui wedding venue, Della from Dellables knocked it out of the park and designed a custom arch that gave us all the Great Gatsby feels! But her talents didn’t stop there — she also used her artist’s eye to arrange gorgeous blooms of white calla lilies and tropical flora.

To capture it all, the Karma Hill Photography Team brought their A-game and created photo magic behind the lens! One of our favorite aspects of styled shoots is seeing the venue through the photographer’s eye — KHP always manages to find the special features and capture those details with their light and airy style.

Acting as our own Marilyn Monroe for the day was the beautiful Kiah Ward. We had a blast working with her as she showed off those dreamy stares and then flexed her guns between shoots. This woman is nothing short of a queen.

Adorning Kiah is an intricately beaded gown from Elly’s Formal Wear. We loved how the geometric patterns tied in with the retro theme of the ceremony decor. With a draped mid-drift and streamlined silhouette, this was a bridal dress fit for a bombshell!
The team at Salon 253 were our makeup gurus for the day. We’re always blown away by their ability to highlight a bride’s unique beauty and still bring all of that rich drama! With a bold brow and lash, Salon 253 accented Kiah’s natural glow while dollying her up in retro glam.

Marilyn Monroe acted in How to Marry a Millionaire, but as gorgeous as this venue is, you don’t need to be a millionaire (or marry one!) to book it! With a reasonable site fee, we’re offering a base package on the Kahalawai terrace for only $4250. This package includes:
* Up To 2 Hours Of Use Of Ceremony Lawn
* Maui Minister/Officiant
* Licensing Assistance
* Leis For Ceremony Exchange
* Bridal Bouquet From Our Floral Selections
* 1.5 Hours Of Professional Photography Coverage By The Karma Hill Photography Team
* 100 Retouched High-Resolution Images Included. Additional Edited Images, Professional Prints, And Albums Available For Purchase A La Carte.
* Up To 40 White Garden Chairs
* Water Station
* On-Site Coordinator To Ensure Your Day Goes Smoothly.* Our List Of Top Recommended Vendors On Maui For Services Such As Hair And Makeup, Transportation, Restaurants, Etc.
* Complimentary Consultation With A Maui Based Travel Agent
* Complimentary Concierge Service To Book Activities, Restaurants, Tee Times And More!

Or if you’re planning a smaller elopement, the Hoapili Gardens may be the perfect option. With a rock waterfall and river features, this special ceremony location features an expansive view, a cute wooden bridge, and an abundance of greenery. For just $3550, you can say “I do” to your special-someone at this unique and lux Maui wedding venue.
We recognize that with the new restrictions and the ever-changing atmosphere, many couples are opting for simple yet beautiful elopements, so we’re offering special add-ons that will allow you to live-stream the ceremony to loved ones back home. Everyone will be glowing along with you!

Following the ceremony shoot, we explored the towering structure of the clubhouse. Featuring unique window-work, this Maui wedding venue will leave an unforgettable impression — trust us, we’re still swooning over it!

Just a few queens slaying…

From intricate glass details to an arching stairway and a golden elevator that looks like a relic from the mid-century, this Maui wedding venue is flooded with gorgeous art deco elements that will take your breath away. We’re SO excited for the day when we can explore the property with a future lucky couple!

We’d like to give a big shout out to the amazing vendors who helped us turn this dream shoot into a reality. Dellables, Salon 253, and Elly’s Formal Wear, as always, it was such a pleasure to work with such a talented crew! Thank you to The King Kamehameha Golf Club for opening up your gorgeous venue to allow this shoot! And, of course, thank you Kiah for being our bombshell bride for the day!
We can’t wait for the time when we can coordinate a wedding at this spectacular Maui venue and turn a couple’s own dream into reality! We’ll be here waiting for you.

We are beyond excited to introduce one of our newest Maui wedding venues, the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins! If you’re looking for a venue that’s rich in culture and surrounded by unbelievable tropical beauty, look no further! Our couples now have the opportunity to say “I do” in the historical ruins of the Kilolani Church. Built in 1852 by the Native Hawaiian historian and scholar, David Malo, the church once featured a thatched roof and blown glass windows, but after a devastating fire and severe flooding, the architecture was left in ruins. Yet even as ruins, the rustic and sacred beauty remains and then some!
The original hand-hewn coral and river rocks still embrace this venue but now the thatched roof has been replaced by the brilliant Maui sky. Located in sunny Kihei and just minutes away from Kihei Bay Surf and Menehune Shores Condos, the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins offers plenty of seating and ample parking. And did we mention swaying palms? Yep, endless swaying palms! Want to see more? Keep scrolling for an unforgettable styled shoot at our newest Maui wedding venue!

In 1976, this beautiful site was revived as the Trinity Episcopal Church by-the-Sea and is preserved and cared for by their dedicated community. To replace the blown glass windows, this venue has simply let the spectacular Maui greenery do its thing. Palms reach over the ruins and kiawe trees extend into the blue skies.
With rows of pews and a stone-laid altar front and center, the ceremony design opportunities are endless. For this styled shoot, our immensely talented friends at Dellables incorporated rustic and Hawaiian elements to accent the historical nature of the ruins. Fresh fruit, palms, orchids, and old-timey candles elevate this ceremony into a dream of tropical chic!

Planning on a beach wedding in Hawaii? Or just hoping to elope on the world’s most romantic sandy venue? We’re here to help make your dreams come true!

The fun-loving Chelsea and Cody were our gorgeous models for the day. Chelsea wore a boho gown with side cutouts and a neutral undertone that perfectly complemented Cody’s contemporary suit of cranberry and cobalt blue.

And once again, Dellables knocked it out of the park with a gorgeous rustic Hawaiian bouquet and endless florals and greenery to rock this beautiful Maui wedding venue.

Chelsea is one of the talented artists at Salon 253, so Adiel (the salon’s owner) treated her to incredible hairstyles! We’re loving the beachy waves of this retro glam! Keep scrolling for an elegant and rustic updo. Salon 253 offers bridal services via it’s bridal brand, Salon 253 Bride.

Following the ceremony portraits, we whisked our couple all the way to the beautiful Keaka beach–and by “all the way” we mean just down the street. Yes, literally! Not only is our newest Maui wedding venue ridiculously gorgeous, but it’s also unbelievably convenient!
Keaka beach is a stones throw away from the ruins and features an abundance of gorgeous photo opportunities. Scarlet and pink bougainvillea, a natural pond, a manicured green park, and a rustic stretch of white sand make this beach an unforgettable locale for newly-wed portraits.

Chelsea and Cody are engaged and plan to elope. These two lovebirds were a blast to work with and had us laughing throughout the shoot. We wish them all the smiles in the years ahead!

We can’t wait to coordinate real ceremonies at this spectacular Maui wedding venue! Special thanks to Dellables, Salon 253, and the Trinity Episcopal Church by-the-Sea for helping to turn this styled shoot into a reality!

Saying “I do” in a Maui wedding dress under the Hawaiian sun is all the magic a girl could wish for! But pinch yourself … because this is your reality!
The big question has been popped. The location has been set…
And now you’re left wondering… what’s a girl to wear? Will a sweetheart neckline look okay on a rustic locale? Can the dress be short? Will a streamer or a train work on a sandy shore?
Yes to all of that!
Simple Maui Wedding has coordinated thousands of real Hawaiʻi ceremonies, and with help from our Maui wedding photographers, we’ve hand-selected our favorite cuts and drapes that are sure to complement any bride and any Maui venue. From jewel-encrusted gowns to silken simplicity, we’ve got your inspiration covered!
So grab a coconut water and scroll along with us as we detail our top 5 Maui wedding dress styles:
Are you planning a beach or venue wedding?
While the same dress can look gorgeous at both locations, understanding the “feeling” of your selected locale is a great place to start when drawing inspiration.
Is it a historic Maui wedding venue like the Olowalu Plantation House? Then perhaps a dramatic bustle or layers of elegant draping will make it feel as if you’ve transcended through time. Or maybe you’ve decided to say “I do” on the world-famous shores of Wailea? If so, then a tiered or fishtail dress that ripples like the rolling sea might be the perfect fit.
Taking the location into consideration is a sure-fire way to help you select the best gown possible for your special day.
The Season
While even the best meteorologists and weather apps can’t predict what Mother Nature will bring to your Special Day, knowing the wind and rain patterns of the season can help you get a vision of what to expect. Are sleeves a safe bet for that time of year? Or will strapless be more comfortable?
Although Hawaii isn’t nearly as susceptible to seasonal change as other locations, the time of year can bring subtle shifts in the weather and temperature as well as sunset and sunrise times.
But even if these differences are subtle, you can still indulge in a Hawaiian wedding that’s season-inspired! Who doesn’t love the dusky tones of a Fall wedding or the fresh blooms of a springtime affair? Just like the decor, your gown can evolve with the season. Try delicate pleats in Spring and a statement flounce for the Fall. Slip into an empire waist for the Summer or a chapel-length veil for the Winter.
Don’t hold back when it comes to making a dramatic statement with your gown!
The Time of Day
Solidifying the hour of the day will also help you prepare. Are you planning a morning or evening wedding? Both options are stunning times for saying “I do” in Hawaii, but each can give you drastically different backdrops. Do you need a dress that will embody the light and airy feel of the glittering morning ocean? Or do you need a gown that will pop against a firey Hawaiian sunset? Having a sense of time and temperature will help you narrow down your search.
Not taking the flow of the fabric into consideration can result in missed opportunities during the photoshoot.
A long, airy gown will almost become one with the breeze and cast a jaw-dropping silhouette against the tropical horizon. But while the weightlessness of this style allows it to flutter like angel wings, it might also make it hard to manage in the Hawaiian wind.
There are pros and cons to every fabric choice. So carefully consider the drape and weight of your material in order to select a gown that not only looks and feels great but also performs well at your selected locale.
While this may seem obvious, it’s endlessly important to take your own personality into account instead of rushing into the next bridal gown craze. What works for others might not work for you.
You are a radiant person, and you bring your own sense of style and charm to the occasion. That beauty within you has already captivated your partner, so let it captivate your guests!
Are you playful and outgoing? Then maybe some ruffles and bold colors will let your spunky self shine! Or maybe you’re more of a bookworm who loves fantasy? Then maybe it’s full lace sleeves that set your spirit aglow.
Your wedding photos will be treasured for a lifetime. Take this opportunity to capture your unique sense of style!

The truth is, it doesn’t really matter what you wear on your special day as long as you and your partner rejoice in your union. It’s your relationship that comes first, and your wedding dress is truly just another outfit.
But that said, what bride doesn’t want to feel gorgeous in an enchanting gown?!
We’ve titled this style “Boho-Magic” but it’s often referred to as Boho-Chic. Perfect for the artistic bride with a carefree spirit, this style blends in seamlessly with the tropical locales of Maui beaches. Boho-Chic showcases its gypsy origins with Indian-inspired floaty skirts, embroidery work, delicate beading, geometric lace patterns, and Roman-style drapery.
This versatile style is perfect for brides with a whimsical and spontaneous side but who still long for the historical beauty of a classic.

While you’re dreaming about your own Maui wedding dress, be sure to read these four tips:

With timeless grace and an elegant silhouette, this Maui wedding dress never goes out of style.
V-neck or sweetheart, princess seam or mermaid cut, it’s the simplicity of these gowns that make them stunning. Nothing fussy or overly complicated, just smooth lines and casual draping. The “Clean & Classic” style highlights the bride’s natural beauty and stands out against the rustic oceanfront.
This style is perfectly suited for the regal bride who balances princess candor with modern simplicity. Need proof? Keep scrolling!

Come see all the Maui wedding packages we have to offer!

Perhaps the most popular dress style for a Maui wedding, lace gowns perfectly marry the magic of childhood with luxurious high-end designs. The intricate weavings call back to the “original” white wedding dress of Queen Victoria in the mid-17th century.
That’s why we’ve dubbed this third style “Lace Princess.” While it may resemble “Boho-Magic” at first glance, these designs draw inspiration from European lacework with a focus on finely thatched florals and elegant patterns instead of the bold geometrics associated with Bohemian styles.
This bridal dress style is perfect for fairytale weddings with traditional details.
Keep scrolling to indulge in all the royal luxury!

We’ve named this style “Tidal Angel” because it’s all about the way a gown shimmers and moves.
From dense ruffles to weightless chiffon, a Maui bridal dress that ripples like the tide is a sight to behold! And with accents of intricate lace or droplets of gemstones, these gowns not only reflect the beauty of the bride but the spirit of the sea.
Just add the tropical breeze and brilliant Hawaiian sun, and this style practically comes alive! This dress trend is best suited for the playful and spirited bride who loves a drop (or tidal wave) of extravagance.

Planning your own Hawaii wedding? Our Maui wedding coordinators and wedding planners on Oahu are here to help!

Who says a wedding dress has to be white? Or long? Or a dress, for that matter? Even though we’ve titled this style “The Rule-Bender” there really are no hard-and-fast rules when it comes to wedding dress varieties. If your gown fills you with joy, your radiance will outshine even the most shimmery of conventional fabrics!
So throw caution to the tropical breeze and be bold, be playful, and most importantly, be yourself. You’re in Hawaii… you’re getting married to the person of your dreams… what better time to make a statement and have fun!
We’ve sorted this style into 3 “Rule-Bending” cornerstones: Patters, Hems, and Hues. Tryout patterns that show off your charm, shorten those hems so you can kick up the sand, or dip yourself in hues that will make the traditional white dress blush.
We’re obsessed with the delicate and girlish charm of these printed and embroidered patterns. What a way to embody your whimsical side!

You’ll be kicking up sand on your Special Day, so don’t be afraid to raise that hem and go barefoot to show off your spunk! Check out these adorable rule-benders!

If you love the rule-bender style as much as we do, then you’re sure to fall in love with these colorful brides! A surprising hue makes an impression while showcasing your unique personality!

Whether you decide to have your gown custom-designed or choose to alter a family heirloom, as long as you love your wedding dress, it’s sure to make a splash on every Maui beach wedding location!
The hardest search is over… you’ve already found “The One”! And your dream gown is sure to be next… Happy dress hunting!

At Simple Maui Wedding, we exclusively hire Karma Hill Photography for all of our gorgeous wedding captures. For Sunny & Aaron’s beautiful wedding at the 5 Palms, Cheynice, one of their talented photographers, summed up the occasion so perfectly, that we thought we’d let her tell the story of this incredible ceremony:
“When I arrived at Sunny’s condo, she was hard at work perfecting her makeup, almost overwhelmed. We were all so glad she took her time with her makeup because she looked absolutely stunning when she was all done! She even cried as she was putting on her dress because she was so emotional that her makeup was perfect and everything was finally coming together. As her dress was buttoned up, she added the pearl necklace her mother-in-law let her borrow. It was such a classy touch to her beauty.”

“It was drizzling just before Reverend Richardo’s conch blew, but when Sunny arrived, the rain stopped moments before she made her entrance.”

“Everyone loved Richardo’s ceremony. He had the couple and all of the guests laughing and smiling throughout, which was just what the couple wanted.”

“After the ceremony, we gathered for photos on the beach of the 5 Palms. Keawekapu is where they love to hang out as a family together, so it’s become a sentimental beach for them all.”

“As the final minutes of the sunset came to a close, Sunny and Aaron experienced the most vibrant colors for their sunset! Sunny was saying ‘It’s almost comical to have such a perfect sunset!’ It was true since the whole day they had overcast skies leading up to those very last moments.”

“Overall it was a very beautiful day and Sunny and Aaron were left as happy as ever.”

Overlooking Wailea, the grassy terrace set the stage for Ashley & Robert’s airy and elegant Gannon’s wedding on Maui. The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony: overcast skies with soft, romantic lighting and a cool breeze that drifted up from the ocean.
Shades of purple were the colors of choice for this vibrant young couple. After visiting Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm, Ashley and Robert fell in love with the subtle hues and wanted to weave the soft color palette into their Special Day. And the result? Beauty for ages!

Robert looked on-point in a dusky lavender tie and a violet boutonniere.
And their adorable (and very good girl) Chloe joined the party while sporting an extra stylish purple hair ribbon. Which was just the cutest thing! Who’s a pretty girl?

Ashley is! We love this shot of pure joy on Robert’s face as he watches his bride walk down the aisle. Keep scrolling for all of the heartwarming moments!

After our beautiful couple said “I do,” we traveled down to the white sandy shore of Southside beach. These two newlyweds have a special connection to the Wailea cost… It was about a year and a half ago, on the shore of Po’olenalena, where Robert asked Ashley to be his wife.
And to make it something of a tradition, they hoped to visit as many Maui beaches as possible during their stay… in fact, Southside was the beach they’d planned on visiting next! It worked out perfectly… and speaking of perfection, we can’t get over how amazing these Maui couples portraits came out!

What do you get when two families meet halfway around the world on the shores of the Magic Isle? A Maui destination wedding! Megan was born in Australia but moved to Canada when she was just ten-years-old… and there, she eventually met the love of her life, Tim!
These two met at a mutual friend’s party, and it didn’t take long for them to decide (together) to take their relationship to the next level. And it was this past February, in the lush rainforest of Queensland’s Lamington National Park, where they officially got engaged! They figured the best spot to say “I do” was where Megan’s parents often frequent, the Kihei Surf Side!

The day was bright and breezy, with hardly another soul on the emerald lawn, making for a quiet and intimate ceremony with just the bride and groom and their closest family.

When asked about their preferred photography style for their Maui destination wedding, our couple responded “Goofy and fun!” And we couldn’t have been more thrilled! We are ALL about capturing those big smiles and sealing that laughter in photos that will be cherished for a lifetime! We welcome fun and say, “Bring on the goofy!”
And trust us, there are plenty more smiles to come… Keep scrolling!

Following the ceremony, we swept our couple away to the white sands of Southside beach for extra fun and goofy couples portraits…
…That is, when “goofy” is an acronym for “G.orgeous O.utback (woman) on the O.ceanside F.lirting… Y.AAAAAAS!” Check out all the sweet moments!

Congratulations, Megan & Tim! Thank you for trusting us to coordinate your Maui destination wedding. We had a wonderful time, and we wish you all the happiness and fun in the future ahead…
