Do you hear those wedding bells ringing? We are thrilled to announce our newest Maui Wedding Venue at the Hyatt Regency in Kaʻanapali! While you may only hear the bells in your heart, this oceanfront venue is guaranteed to fill your wedding with the very real sounds of the rolling tides and tropical breezes.
To celebrate being able to offer yet another stunning venue to our couples, and to help welcome in a new wedding season of warmth, health, and vitality, we gathered our good friends at Karma Hill Photography, Dellables Floral Artistry, Salon 253, and Elly’s Formal Wear to create a styled shoot with all the island beauty and wedding magic a couple could ask for.

Situated in the heart of Kaʻanapali, the Hyatt Regency overlooks the westernmost coast of Maui, which means spectacular sunsets and sweeping ocean views. This is the definition of a beach-front wedding venue! For added customizability, we are offering two ceremony locations at the Hyatt Regency: the Makai Lawn (featured in this blog) and the Japengo Lawn.
The Makai Lawn is only available for sunset weddings and can host up to 70 guests. While the Japengo Lawn is available for morning weddings with a guest limit of 20 and sits above the beach path. Both locations feature sweeping panoramic views of the ocean.

Coordinating this styled shoot at our newest wedding venue truly felt like we were basking at the beach. The crisp smell of the ocean paired beautifully with the sweet scent of the gorgeous florals. Our good friends at Dellables blew us away with an asymmetrical custom arch of roses and bursts of greenery, artfully tying in the blushing hues of the late afternoon sun and tropical shoreline.
Wearing attire gifted to us for the day by Elly’s Formal Wear, our couple looked chic and sophisticated. We’re loving the groom’s clean-cut suit with a pressed undershirt for a classic touch. The delicate lace details of the bridal gown seem to pull inspiration from the bride’s custom spring bouquet, perfectly pairing with the loose bun and bold brow and lip by Salon 253. The team at Salon 253 didn’t forget about our Groom model, his long hair was swept up into the perfect formal man bun, inspired by Harry Styles.

Getting married at the Hyatt Regency not only comes with an unparalleled view, but it also comes with an abundance of perks. This Maui wedding venue offers several onsite options to follow your ceremony: an intimate dinner for two, a private room at one of the resort’s world-class restaurants, a simple and beautiful brunch, a Luau onsite, or the ability to rent out a private event space so all of your guests can celebrate with you!

Following the staged (yet take-your-breath-away lovely) nuptials, our couple stepped onto the sand for sunset shots against the ocean backdrop. State permitting laws restrict our photographers from setting foot on the beach, requiring them to capture images from the venue terrace.
However, the team at Karma Hill Photography are masters of the craft and will skillfully line up each shot to create dynamical yet soft angles that artfully capture your love framed within the tropical beauty. Kaʻanapali beach is also public. So while you may get a good-intentioned cheer or two from passersby, the photo editing team will work their magic to ensure you have gorgeous photos of just the two of you on the sand.
Not to mention the spectacular on-sight backdrops! Follow along for the jaw-dropping sets we found right on the Hyatt terrace! To learn more about this Maui Wedding Venue, click here.

We would like to send out a big thank you to our specular vendors and models! It’s always a joy to work with each and every one of you. We are endlessly thankful for all you do to help bring our clients’ dreams to life! Here’s to a new season of love, health, and prosperity!
If you’re planning or even simply considering a wedding on Maui, don’t hesitate to contact us. Our friendly wedding team is always happy to show you how easy and simple a Maui wedding can be.

Francisca and Knight’s Maui Micro Wedding on Gannon’s grassy knoll was flooded with tropical goodness and plenty of celebratory vibes. With bursts of Hawaiian ginger and protea, and with the sweeping views of the ocean in the backdrop, this was nothing short of a wedding in paradise.

From the moment Francisca first stepped onto the venue, Knight’s eyes locked onto her and never left. And it’s easy to see why. Wearing a satin gown with a princess cut flair and a delicate up-do framed with a demi-train, Francisca is captivating. To complement the love of his life’s look, Knight sported the modern version of shining armor, a linen suit of tan with elements of dusky blue. We could not get enough of the sweet moments shared between these two.

Following the big moment, we gathered the guests for group shots then made our way down to the oceanfront for some of the most dreamy couple’s portraits in front of the setting sun.

Francisca works for a healthcare organization called Mercy, and Knight works in logistics for JB Hunt. Due to the pandemic, they’re both working from home and keeping their two furbabies company. Francisca and Knight spend most of their free time with their adorable pups, but when it’s football season, you can catch them cheering on the LSU Tigers! “Geaux” Tigers!
Francisca and Knight met during a time when they both worked at Mercy. After Knight left, they stayed in touch, and eventually, their friendship blossomed into a true and honest love. The rest of the story is right here on our blog!

Mahalo nui loa, Francisca and Knight, for trusting us with your Maui Micro Wedding. We had a wonderful time getting to know you, and we wish you all the joy and love in the years ahead.

Meghan and Dustin’s Wedding in Maui featured the peaceful views of Maui’s south shore and the evergreen love of a radiant couple. Set on Gannon’s ceremony lawn, guests were treated to the beautiful colors of the island and a cool, mountain breeze. Surrounded by beauty and with such a sweet love story to celebrate, it wasn’t just the Maui sun that brought the sunshine!

From the moment Meghan walked in, arm-in-arm with her father, we knew this was going to be an extra special wedding in Maui. Dustin’s face lit up and the crowd’s energy became tangible. After delaying the wedding due to the pandemic, everyone on the grass that afternoon was excited to see the wonderful day finally arrive.
Looking simply breathtaking, Meghan wore a gown by Martina Liana with a show-stopping train fit for a cathedral. We loved her loosely plaited up-do and fresh-faced look. Together her style perfectly blended the contemporary splash of a tropical wedding with the sophisticated glam of a traditional venue. The best part? All those sweet moments shared with her brand new husband! From tender glances to belly laughter, these two fit together in all the right ways.

Meghan and Dustin met in 2014 on a blind date. A mutual friend of theirs recognized the potential and would not stop insisting they met (and a good thing, too!). Finally, Meghan and Dustin gave in and agreed on a single date. Dustin planned the special day and met Meghan at the location with a single white rose in hand. They spent the rest of the date rafting down a local river. How sweet is that?! Turns out the river led to love!
Together, Meghan and Dustin enjoy doing all things outdoorsy. From snow machining to jet-skiing, these two love an adventure! And now here they are, taking the next step on the biggest adventure of all! Keep scrolling for more of this sweet couple and their beautiful wedding in Maui.

Mahalo nui loa, Meghan and Dustin, for trusting us with your wedding in Maui. It was a joy working with you, and we wish you only the best in the years ahead.

Rhiannon and Matthew’s Maui Destination Wedding was enveloped by the glistening ocean backdrop and the cheerful love of family and friends. Set on the lush green lawn of the 5 Palms in Kihei with the island of Kahoʻolawe on the horizon, there was plenty to celebrate during this spectacular Big Day.

We began our session with getting ready footage of Rhiannon and her bridal crew. We were loving the exciting vibes and the encouraging energy of her girls! Rhiannon was the queen of the day, and she was glowing from the inside out.

As the big moment drew near, Matthew awaited the love of his life under the bamboo arch on the venue. His smile spoke volumes: this is the day he’s been waiting for! Soon Rhiannon graced the aisle and the crowd grew silent. Wearing a sweetheart neckline dress with lace demi-gloves, she is absolutely beautiful.
We love her simple pearl necklace–and we love the story that goes with it! One day in California, Matthew opened a clamshell, and there it was–the perfect pearl! We like to think it’s a fitting metaphor for our couple’s love story.

Following the beautiful ceremony, it was time for group shots and gorgeous couple’s photos against the Maui backdrop. Keep scrolling for more of this spectacular Maui Destination Wedding!

Lindsay and Ryan were married on Gannon’s Ceremony Knoll, overlooking the panoramic view of Maui’s south shore. The day was vibrant and the air was filled with the faint scent of roses and the salty breeze from the ocean. This Maui Venue Wedding perfectly blended classic contemporary with warm tropical touches.

The moment Ryan turned and saw his beautiful bride was pure magic. Wearing a strapless button-down gown with a floral overlay and Hollywood-worthy waves, Lindsay is absolutely stunning. Ryan’s smile says it all: not only is she radiant, but she’s also the love of his life.

Following their touching vows in front of the rustic driftwood arch, Lindsay and Ryan cemented their union with a kiss worth celebrating! Then it was time for group shots and a quick drive to the shore for beach portraits against the sunset!

Lindsay works at a high school district doing accounting, and Ryan is a foreman for a glazing glass company. Their love story began on Bumble. When they met up face-to-face, there was an instant deep connection and Lindsay knew he was the one. During their first date in Claremont, Lindsay says their eyes met and they were like “wow”! When you know, you know!

They spent nearly every day together since that wow moment. Ryan proposed in Redlands under Umbrella Street and they celebrated with oysters and drinks. It was a simple day, the best kind of engagement. Together they have one furbaby, although she’s not so much of a baby anymore! Bella is thirteen and Lindsay has had her since she was a puppy.
While Bella wasn’t able to join, we have a feeling she was putting on the cutest doggy-grin for her mom and dad’s Maui Venue Wedding! Keep scrolling for more of our beautiful couple!

Congratulations, Lindsay & Ryan! Your wedding day was absolutely stunning! We had a joy helping your dreams come true, and we wish you only the best in the decades ahead!

Lindsey and Austin’s Hawaii Venue Wedding featured bursts of pink, the sweeping view of south Maui, and a couple so in love it had us on cloud nine. Gannon’s Ceremony Lawn set the stage with a backdrop of glistening ocean and fuchsia bougainvillea blooms that perfectly matched our couple’s wedding colors. It was as if the island had been long preparing for Lindsey and Austin to say “I do.”

We loved all the thought that went into the details of this Hawaii venue wedding. Sweet touches coordinated together with highlights of fuchsia pink. Lindsey and Austin brought their own sensibility to their ceremony while allowing us to take care of the big things so they could simply enjoy the beautiful moment together.

Wearing navy with a pop of pink, Austin looks like a man about to marry the love of his life! Lindsey made her grand entrance draped in an elegant gown with a cathedral-length train and a veil fit for a queen. Her sweet smile says it all, she’s marrying her best friend.

Lindsey and Austin knew they wanted to marry in Hawaii. Austin’s family owns a condo on Maui, and the two have enjoyed many beautiful days beneath the tropical sun. Gannon’s Restaurant in Wailea was the perfect location for Lindsey and Austin’s Hawaii Venue Wedding, not only is it a stone’s throw away from white sand beaches, but it also features an onsite reception area perfect for parties of all sizes.
Also, that view! We mean the adorable couple, but the seascape is also great!

Lindsey works as a paralegal for a family law attorney, and Austin is an airline pilot for Frontier Airlines. It comes as no surprise that they both love traveling! Lindsey and Austin met online a few years ago. They got together for brunch and a football game, but it wasn’t the quarterback who made the epic shot, it was cupid! They hit it off immediately and the rest is wedding day history!

Thank you, Lindsey and Austin, for selecting us to coordinate your Hawaii venue wedding. It was a joy seeing your Big Day unfold in such a magical and natural way. We wish you all the very best in the years ahead.

For their Maui Venue Wedding, Amanda and Michael said “I do” in front of the aquamarine ocean and bathed in warm sunlight. The 5 Palms set the stage as loved ones watched on from the manicured greens of the venue. The moment Amanda and Michael tied their lives together, the happiness, excitement, and pure joy were palpable!

Set against the shore of Keawakapu Beach, the 5 Palms Restaurant was the perfect location for Amanda and Michael’s Maui Venue Wedding. With a much higher guest count capacity than a beach wedding but with the same stunning ocean view, this venue perfectly paired Amanda and Michael’s dream of marrying on the beach while having plenty of loved ones in attendance.

Amanda and Michael both work in corrections, with Amanda serving as a caseworker for the Nevada Department of Corrections and Michael as a Correctional Sgt for the city jail. They met through mutual friends and bonded over their love of fantasy football and sarcasm (which, by the way, is totally *not* super adorable. #Sarcasm ;).
Together they have a Miniature Australian Shepherd, AKA their incredibly spoiled and cute furbaby! Amanda and Michael enjoy anything outdoorsy and spending time with family and friends.

When the time was right, Michael had an incredible proposal idea, but his plans were altered due to COVID shutdowns. No problem, he rearranged and came up with plan two… which was also canceled! Finally, he decided on a simple and classically romantic proposal. Michael asked Amanda the big question in the park, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way! The rest of their story is right here on our blog!

We were thrilled to be part of Jenna and Ben’s Venue Wedding in Maui on the lush green slopes of the Dragon Fruit Farm. The weather featured nothing but sunshine and spectacular scenes of the sweeping ocean. With an unparalleled view and gentle breezes rolling in from the valleys of West Maui Mountains, the wedding guests were treated to a ceremony that was simply gorgeous.

Our session began with a few cute just the girls shots with Jenna and her bridal crew. The Dragon Fruit Farm is a fantastic spot for a venue wedding in Maui because it has a sweet little bungalow right on the property, perfect for adding those last-minute accents. We are loving Jenna’s fresh-faced style. With dewy cheeks and perfectly set hair, she is absolutely beautiful and giving off all the happy bride feels!
And it’s little wonder what’s got her smiling! Looking great in a French blue suit, Ben was the epitome of an over-the-moon groom. With sweet teary-eyed moments, the love these two share was almost tangible.

After coordinating a collection of lovely group shots, we whisked Jenna and Ben away to the shore of Launiupoko Beach for gorgeous photos against the sunset. Keep scrolling for more!

We were cheering along with the guests during Raphaela and Timothy’s Maui Venue Wedding at Gannon’s in Wailea. Set against the panoramic view of south Maui, this sweet wedding featured all the beauty of the tropics and endless love paired with happy laughter. Come view this spectacular Big Day and see more of our incredible couple!

Gannon’s Grassy Knoll set the stage. With onsight music played by the venue, Timothy made his entrance with Aydrian, our couple’s brilliant eleven-year-old daughter (who has the cutest smile ever!). Moments later, Raphaela graced the ceremony lawn in the arm of her father, Diego. Wearing a gown with luscious pleating and plenty of eye-catching elements, Raphaela was absolutely stunning.
Reverend Richardo led the ceremony, and soon Raphaela and Timothy were celebrating their union with friends and family. It was clear these two were ecstatic to tie the knot!

Raphaela is a registered dental assistant and Tim works as a… wait for it… detective! The two met a couple of years ago at a bar. Raphaela took one look at his smile and knew she had to say hello. From then on, Raphaela and Timothy spent all their free time together and fell head-over-heels in love.

It didn’t take long for detective Tim to piece the clues together and realize Raphaela was *the one.* During their first-ever family vacation via a Puerto Rico cruise, Tim stepped out to pick up tacos while they were at their AirBnB pitstop.
Soon daughter Aydrian got a text that Timothy had the tacos set up and ready to go on the rooftop. When Raphaela reached the roof and saw Timothy’s hands behind his back, she knew this was the moment. She said yes! And the rest is right here in this blog! Including a little… miracle!

Congratulations, Raphaela and Timothy! It was a joy working with you! We wish you and your sweet family of four all the happiness and joy in the years ahead!

Courtney and Tristan’s Maui Venue Wedding took place on the manicured lawn of Gannon’s ceremonial knoll. With their four children and loved ones in attendance, this was a wedding filled with endless love and blue skies.

Courtney and Tristan decided on a Maui Venue Wedding shortly after their engagement. One day, they were browsing a local wedding show with their moms and came across a Hawaiian booth. They knew right away that this was the opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime Big Day. A wedding, a family vacation, and a honeymoon all wrapped up in one tropical package. Courtney said, “It just felt right.”

Courtney co-owns a property management and commercial real estate office, and Tristan is a quality manager and auditor for an electronics manufacturing company. They’re a blended family with four kids and five pets. For family time, they enjoy hanging out at home watching movies or going outside on little adventures. And for date nights, Courtney and Tristan love escape rooms, concerts, and comedy shows.

Courtney and Tristan met at their two oldest sons’ “fund-run” event. Since first grade, their boys had grown to be close friends, and Courtney and Tristan began chatting over parental anecdotes and sharing fun stories. Soon Courtney and Tristan were also friendly acquaintances, but in this case, there was no denying the spark of romance!

Our couple got engaged in what Courtney describes as “the most simple and silliest of ways.” While in the comfort of their own home, Tristan set up an intricate scavenger hunt, but Courtney was so nervous (suspecting what he was up to), that she had HIM find the ring for her! We love this story. It’s such a fun and genuine story, so suited for this beautiful couple and their amazing family! Keep scrolling for more!

Rachel and Neil’s Destination Wedding in Maui took place on the slopes of the Dragon Fruit Farm, overlooking the glistening blue waters of the island’s west shore. The day was flooded with brilliant lighting and punctuated by cool, tropical breezes. With a handful of loved ones watching on, Rachel and Neil’s union could only be described as gorgeous and unforgettable.

The ceremony opened with the customary blowing of the conch shell, which cued Rachel and Neil’s daughter to begin the petal toss. With the sweetest face on the planet, we loved how professional she was in her role, careful to drop each handful with purpose and grace. Shortly after, our bride stepped onto the manicured lawn. Wearing a form-fitting gown with her hair loosely plaited, Rachel is simply radiant.

Following the ceremony at the Dragon Fruit Farm, we took the short drive with Rachel and Neil to Launiupoko Beach. The sun had just dipped into its magic place, where the island comes alive with soft pastel lighting moments before the sunset bursts through the sky. The result was pure beauty.

Rachel is a Legal Clerk at the district attorney’s office in Santa Clara, and Neil is a Deputy Sheriff (Thank you for your service!). They met through a mutual friend at a bar and hit it off instantly, bonding over a conversation about body and figure building.
While Rachel says they don’t have a magic engagement story, they’re both excited to be married and have their children be a part of their destination wedding in Maui. And that’s the purest magic of all!

Congratulations, Rachel and Neil! We had a wonderful time getting to know you during your beautiful destination wedding in Maui. We send our fondest Aloha and wish you the very best in the decades ahead.

Isabelle and Jon’s Micro Wedding in Hawaii took place on the lush grounds of the Merriman’s in Kapalua. With the sweeping views of the island in the backdrop, this Big Day was blessed with love, smiles, and plenty of sunshine.

The ceremony began with Isabelle making a radiant entrance at the top of Merriman’s outdoor staircase. Jon’s look of affection and pride was unforgettable. Reverend Richardo officiated the ceremony as Isabelle and Jon’s guests watched on, including their adorable two children. Their first kiss as a married couple was celebrated with cheers and hoorahs from their loved ones! Keep scrolling for more of this sweet couple and crew, plus the gorgeous beach shots that followed the beautiful ceremony!

Jon is a sales manager for Toyota and Isabelle is a new stay-at-home mom. They met for the first time when Jon hired Isabelle as a sales representative. They clicked right away, and soon Jon realized he didn’t just hire a standout worker, he’d also hired the love of his life!
Together they have two children, a seven-year-old son and a 1.5-year-old daughter. Jon proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2020 while they were out to dinner. He put his plan into action when Isabelle got up to go to the bathroom, carefully placing the ring box under her napkin. Clearly, she said yes! Isabelle and Jon love to seek out new culinary trends together and travel as often as their schedule allows. We could not get enough of the love and cute moments shared between these two!
