Kelsey and Kris chose to elope in Hawaii with their parents standing nearby to celebrate their union. Southside Beach decorated for the occasion with soft lighting and plenty of swaying palms, not to mention the aquamarine ocean and a tangerine sunset. Continue browsing for more of this spectacular day and couple!

Kelsey and Kris stood together as the ceremony began. Wearing a simple sweetheart gown with lace applique and waves topped with a delicate flower crown, Kelsey was stunning. Decked out in slate gray with leather accents, Kris looked great himself. We loved the subtle sweet moments shared between our couple, like how Kris gently kissed Kelsey’s lei before draping it over her shoulders. There was so much love on the shore that day!

Kelsey and Kris are both lawyers. In their free time, they like to cook together, read books, and play with their two sons… who happen to have tails and meow. Their first trip as a couple was to Oahu and they absolutely loved it. They dreamed of returning and exploring new islands, so the decision to elope in Hawaii came naturally.
Kelsey and Kris met in law school and began dating in 2015. Turns out, the verdict was love! They got engaged in January of 2019 while on vacation in Mexico when Kris asked Kelsey to marry him over dinner in their hotel room. Kelsey said it was the ideal proposal for her, intimate, private, and emotional.

Congratulations, Kelsey and Kris, and thank you for choosing Simple Maui Wedding to help you elope in Hawaii. It was a pleasure sharing your special day with you! We wish you all the love in the decades ahead.

Maui put on a spectacular show of golden light for Lacey and Ross’s Maui Beach Wedding. On the shore of Ironwoods in Kapalua, the wind teased our bride’s veil and gown, creating gorgeous silhouettes of movement as the rock outcroppings created rustic backdrops. This ceremony was so gorgeous, it felt like it was plucked from a dream.

Lacey and Ross began the ceremony arm in arm. Our beautiful bride wore a princess-cut gown with intricate geometric patterns and a stunning fur-lined veil to add texture and pop. Matching his bride’s classic yet modern style, Ross looked striking in a linen suit of French Blue with a midnight tie. How gorgeous is this couple?! You haven’t seen anything yet, keep scrolling for their megawatt smiles!

Lacey and Ross both work in tech, with Lacey doing Brand Marketing and Ross working as a Product Manager. They have two fur babies they rescued named Goose and Charlie. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, they enjoy popping into wine country as often as they can to add a bottle or two to their collection. Together they love to travel and can’t wait to venture internationally again once it’s safe.
Lacey and Ross were introduced by a mutual friend. One day Lacey was complaining about the perils of finding a good guy and dating in San Francisco, and the friend mentioned knowing not just a good guy, but a great guy. It took Ross SIX MONTHS to follow up with a text, but when he did, the chemistry was instant!

Our bride tells their story: “Our engagement story isn’t the most romantic – we knew we were ready and went and bought a ring together- but it is indicative of our relationship in that we just fit together and both know it’s time and that it feels right. We have only been together a year and a half but going through the pandemic and seeing how we both work so well together as a team during these challenging times has resulted in a deep understanding of one another. What has torn so many couples apart, has brought us closer together and we can’t imagine our lives apart.”

Mahalo nui loa, Lacey and Ross, for trusting us with your Maui Beach Wedding. It was a gorgeous ceremony and you were a joy to work with! We wish you only the best in the decades ahead.

Tiffany and Steve said “I do” during a Hawaii Beach Wedding filled with love and the cheers of their loved ones. Polo Beach set the stage with golden sands and a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by a semi flower circle of tropical blooms and their four children, Tiffany and Steve began the unparalleled journey of marriage.

On the arm of her adult son, Tiffany made her entrance wearing a casual and flirty floral print gown, perfectly paired with a loose updo and beachy ringlets. Together for a decade, the love and joy shared between Tiffany and Steve as this moment finally came into focus was palpable. We loved the sweet smiles and subtle encouragement of their grown children. With the girls in shades of green and Steve sporting a mosaic tie of a similar hue, the wedding party is perfectly tied together, just as they are by love!

Tiffany works in Santa Ana for a Tax Attorney as an Enrolled Agent, and Steve is a Civil Designer/Engineer in Long Beach. Steve has two daughters, Tyler and Corey, and Tiffany has a son, Tyler, and a daughter Brooke, all present during the ceremony. Together they love to drive to the beach, take weekend trips, and just be together.
Tiffany and Steve were introduced over a decade ago by a mutual friend and hit it off right away. But because they’d both been married before and their kids were still young, they decided to take it slow. Then one special day, after eight years together, Steve took Tiffany to their special beach on Diamond Street and asked her to marry him. And now they’re tying the knot on a new special beach with an ocean that sparkles like diamonds! Keep scrolling for more!

Congratulations, Tiffany and Steve! We loved being a part of your wedding! We wish you all the love and joy in the years ahead and send our fondest Aloha.

Celeste and Richard’s Hawaii Beach Elopement was a tropical paradise painted in gold. Polo Beach set the stage with white sands and sapphire waters as our couple said “I do” beneath the rolling sky. When it comes to take-your-breath-away beautiful, this ceremony was that and then some!

Richard waited patiently on the shore, his back turned as his lovely bride approached. Wearing a halter dress with ribbed accents and layers of chiffon, Celeste is a goddess walking. As Richard turned, his joy was overwhelming.

Celeste hails from South Africa and moved to the states after teaching in South Korea for five years. Richard is a doctor working on his radiology residency at BAMC in San Antonio. Together they have two pets: Noodle (a kitten Celeste found on the street in South Korea) and Daegu (their new staffy pup) named after the city they met in.
Our bride tells their story: “We met in Daegu, South Korea in 2019. I was working there as a teacher and Richard was working as a physician on the army base. It wasn’t love at first sight 😂 but he slowly wiggled his way into my heart with his humor and charm. Before I knew it, I was completely smitten with this American doctor. We got engaged in Korea and applied for a K1 fiance visa. It was a long wait but ultimately worth it!” Keep scrolling for more of this amazing couple!

Congratulations, Celeste and Richard! Your Hawaii beach elopement was simply gorgeous. It was a joy working with you! We wish you only the best in the decades ahead.

Alexis and Mycah’s Maui Beach Elopement took place on the golden sand of Maluaka Beach with sailboats dotting the glistening ocean. With only the sounds of the waves cheering them on, Alexis and Mycah said “I do” and tied their lives together during a beautiful ceremony.

Mycah waited on the shore for Alexis, and when they turned and took in the sight of their bride, Mycah’s face lit up like the Maui sun. It’s easy to see why! Wearing a simple yet elegant form-fitting gown with boho-inspired prints, Alexis took our breath away. Reverend Richardo officiated the ceremony, and after the touching vows, Alexis and Mycah cut the cake and celebrated their union with a shared bite.

Alexis is a graduate student working on her master’s degree in counseling, and Mycah is in graduate school working on their Master’s in Strategic Marketing Communications! WoW!! Together they have two furbabies, Bailey and Luna, and look forward to starting a family sometime in the future.
Alexis and Mycah met through a mutual friend who had a sixth sense that they’d make the perfect couple. And the friend was right! Alexis and Mycah hit it off immediately. Their compatibility was off-the-charts and their relationship only blossomed from there. One day Mycah woke up and knew that day was the day. While they were spending time at their favorite beach, Mycah popped the big question. And now their story comes full circle with a wedding at the beach! Keep scrolling for more of this sweet couple!

And yes, there just so happened to be a cute little sandcastle and a boat sailing on the horizon photobombing their couple’s portraits. It doesn’t get sweeter than this!

Congratulations, Alexis and Mycah! You’re a beautiful couple and so was your wedding day. We wish you all the love and happiness in the decades ahead!

Amber and Grant’s Maui Micro Wedding took place on the historic grounds of the Steeple House in Kapalua. With authentic architecture from the 1950s, this venue brought a touch of tradition to a modern and elegant ceremony. Beneath rolling skies and amongst a handful of loved ones, Amber and Grant tied their lives together.

Wearing a lace mermaid gown with a sheer demi-veil and a touch of diamond accessories, Amber is simply stunning. She utilized the private onsight getting-ready room to add the final touches to her bridal look before making her grand entrance onto the walkway. After sharing a touching moment with her father, Amber graced the terrace and Grant couldn’t hold back his tears of joy.

Amber works at a title company in the real estate business and loves witnessing the magic when someone buys a home for the first time. Grant is a welder for an oil field company. Together, they love church and spreading the word of Jesus. God is a big part of their relationship and they strive to be better Christians every day. Their favorite pastimes include going on adventures and traveling. So far they’ve been to Aruba, Florida, Cancun, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Yellowstone National Park during the wintertime. With both in their early twenties, they plan to simply enjoy their youth and explore life together in the upcoming years.

Amber and Grant went to the same high school, but with Grant a couple years younger than Amber, she never really knew who he was. But he knew who she was! Amber graduated with Grant’s brother, so one day Grant sent her a Snapchat “hello” and the rest was history! They’ve been together for nearly three years and just bought a house together (congratulations!).

In December of 2020, Amber and Grant took their first trip to Yellowstone. As they were hiking the trails by Henry’s Fork River, Grant got down on one knee in the knee-high snow and asked Amber to marry him. She said his words were sweet and sentimental, and she began to cry. It was an intimate moment and the perfect start of an ageless lovestory.

Codie and Seth’s Hawaii Beach Elopement featured golden sunlight and the salty ocean breeze. They said “I do” in front of the rolling ocean backdrop of Baldwin Beach in the small town of Paia. After the pandemic made it nearly impossible for a large traditional wedding, Codie and Seth set sail for the islands for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of an intimate elopement with just the two of them.

Reverend Kuya opened the ceremony with the reverberating sound of the Hawaiian conch as Codie and Seth held hands and awaited the moment they would tie their lives together. Wearing an off-the-shoulder gown in pure white and with princess draping, Codie is stunning. We love how her anuenue bouquet adds a pop of vibrancy to the modern attire. These two were simply the sweetest. From the shared smiles to the bubbly laughter, it was clear from the start that Codie and Seth were meant to be.

Codie owns her own photography business and works part-time as a waitress at Applebee’s. Seth is a police officer in Fremont, NE (thank you for your service!). Together they have one son, named Jaxson who is 14 months old. They don’t get much free time between working and taking care of their little one, but when they do, Seth enjoys gaming and lifting and Codie loves doing homebody tasks. Keep scrolling for more of this sweet couple!

The Maui Beach Wedding of Pearl and Nicholas took our breath away. Set on the rustic shore of Ironwoods, our couple tied the knot with their closest loved ones cheering them on. The ceremony featured soft light and the misty sprays of the ocean, all atop the powder-soft sands of the northwestern shore.

Wearing a form-fitting mermaid gown with lace applique and an elegant necklace of her namesake, Pearl is radiant. When Nicholas turned and took in his bride for the first time, his face said it all: Pearl is his everything. We loved Nicholas’s sleek and traditional suit. Dressed elegantly enough for a cathedral wedding, our couple made a sophisticated splash against the shore. The most beautiful moment? The cheers and smiles when Pearl and Nicholas said “I do”!

Pearl’s twin sister was her biggest fan, with a smile almost as big as the bride’s! We then took the glowing couple up to the cliffs of Ironwoods for epic shots against the sunset. It doesn’t get more gorgeous than this! To end the magical day, Maui sent her Aloha with a caramel and tangerine sky, just as the sun set beneath the horizon.

Thank you, Pearl and Nicholas, for trusting us with your Maui Beach Wedding. It was a beautiful day, and you were a joy to work with. We send our fondest Aloha and wish you only the best in the decades ahead.

There was nothing but clear skies when it came to Lauren and Louie’s Maui Venue Wedding (both literally and figuratively!). The 5 Palms in Wailea featured spectacular views of the sapphire ocean and brilliant scenic coastline stretching as far as the eye could see. But nothing was more dazzling and eye-catching than our sweet couple! Lauren and Louie lit up the shore with their glowing vibes, so clearly on top of the world as they said “I do” to the love of their lives.

In the morning hours, while the sun is vivid yet still gentle, loved ones gathered on the manicured lawn of the 5 Palms for Lauren and Louie’s Maui Venue Wedding. As they anticipated the bride’s entrance, our photographer asked Louie if he could guess what Lauren’s dress would look like. He nailed it! Someone knows his bride! Louie’s smile when he watched Lauren walk in was priceless.

Wearing an open-backed gown with lace overlay and a demi-train, Lauren looks radiant. We’re loving her gorgeous fresh-faced with look, with glowing skin and a loose bun that’s perfect for the salty air. Keep scrolling for more of this sweet couple!

Lauren works as a receptionist at Honda, and Louie currently works for the US Air Force as a weapons instructor. Their love story began in quite possibly the purest and sweetest way possible, beneath the arches of the church while they were both children. Even as a seven-year-old, Lauren knew there was something special, and super cute, about the nine-year-old Louie.
But it wasn’t until after high school when Louie was on leave for Christmas and visiting family that the ball got rolling. Our couple bumped into each other at a Jersey Mike’s and couldn’t be separated until it was time for him to leave. It was long-distance for a little while until Lauren moved to be closer to Louie’s station. During a hometown visit to California, Louie planned a couples photoshoot. But it was so much more than that!

Louie’s parents are professional photographers, and they knew the plan. One second Lauren was posing for the camera, and the next she was turning to find Louie down on his knee! The sweet moment was all caught on film! On the topic of sweet moments in front of the camera, keep scrolling for more!

Andrea and Craig’s Maui Beach Wedding was beyond sweet right from the start. On the shore of Poʻolenalena with a handful of loved ones in attendance, Andrea and Craig tied their lives together through marriage and had us all misty-eyed! The weather was perfect for a comfortable beach wedding that ended in a pastel sunset of pink and peach.

The love between Andrea and Craig was apparent from the moment she stepped onto the sand. Craig’s expression says it all, Andrea is his everything. Andrea wore a spunky high-low gown topped with a flower crown like the goddess she is! This bride was simply beautiful. In fact, everything about this couple is beautiful! From their tender expressions to the adoring lean-ins, Andrea and Craig are so clearly in love.

Andrea and Craig love the number thirteen. They found each other on a 13th, got engaged on a 13th, and married on a 13th. And judging by the amazing love they share, we’re totally on board with this lucky charm! These two lovebirds adore each other and the island. They visit up to twice a year and even stay for an extended period (up to six weeks!) to get the full island experience.
Together Andrea and Craig have three furbabies, two cats, Jenny and Penny, and Duncan, their mini-poodle. They love camping and hanging with friends. Andrea fell in love with Maui when she was only a teen and introduced Craig to the island ten years ago. They crossed paths at a mutual friend’s birthday party in November 2009 and got engaged on Kaanapali Beach in December 2013 (We spy that special number again!). Keep scrolling for more of this lovely couple!

Like so many couples, Katherine and Dominic’s 2020 wedding plans were put on hold… so enter a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to elope in Hawaii! With just the two of them, Katherine and Dominic had an intimate and personal wedding day flooded with love, good vibes, and plenty of sunshine!

Katherine and Dominic’s elopement began with a “first look” on the property of the Westin. With tropical greenery in the backdrop, Dominic laid his eyes for the first time on Katherine dressed in all her bridal glory. Wearing a princess-cut gown with sheer and applique details, Katherine is simply stunning. The sweet smiles and happy energy was tangible between these two! You could say it flowed like a waterfall.

Katherine and Dominic’s elopement ceremony took place on the white sands of Ironwoods Beach, with dreamy pastel lighting and the crisp scent of the ocean. After the sweetest set of vows, we ventured around the shore to capture the intimate moments as Katherien and Dominic celebrated their union, just the two of them.

Katherine works in tech and Dominic is a finance and accounting manager. They love to relax and catch up on their favorite shows with a glass of wine and their three cats by their side. They recently purchased their first home together (congratulations!) and keep busy with their jobs, so they live for the weekend! Especially their annual Maui get-away!
Katherine and Dominic met through a mutual friend. Dominic’s heart was stolen at once, but Katherine was enjoying being single. It took some persistence, but before long, Dominic was able to win her over and sweep her off her feet! They were engaged on Valentine’s Day on the very same beach where they’d first fallen in love. Keep scrolling for more of this sweet couple!

It doesn’t get more tropical and beautiful than Misha and Ben’s Micro Wedding in Maui. On the lush lawn of the 5 Palms, guests looked out at the sweeping ocean views and swaying palms while Misha and Ben tied the knot beneath the Maui sun. It was a beautiful day, and we were thrilled to work with such a wonderful couple!

Wearing a gown sewn by her own hand, Misha made her entrance on the terrace and Ben simply could not be happier! The sweet moments and smiles were endless! Our couple chose to have potted floral arrangements rather than a traditional arch, and we loved the open-air look it created. The salty breeze freely flowed through the venue as vows were exchanged and Misha and Ben wove their lives together.

For the last ten years, Misha has been establishing herself in the film and entertainment industry, specifically in costumes and props and working with NBC Universal/Warner Brothers, and Disney! You can view her portfolio here. It’s little wonder this creative go-getter so easily made a stunning wedding gown for her big day! Ben was in the military for eleven years in the Oregon National Guard (thank you for your service!), but in October 2020, he decided to pursue real estate full time.
Misha and Ben met when she moved to Oregon to be near her sister and a job… but ended up meeting the love of her life! Ben and Misha are both entrepreneurs and hope to change the world one day through technology or personal relationships, making the planet a more loving place because they demonstrate true love to each other. You can read more about their beautiful love story on their wedding website! Trust us, you don’t want to miss their engagement story! It’s as cute as these photos!
