From the rolling ocean to the beautiful couple madly in love, Cortlin and David’s Maui venue wedding felt like stepping into a storybook romance. Poised and elegant, Cortlin looked like a woman about to step into her happily ever after. Wearing a classic gown with modern fitting and perfectly swept hair, she was dressed for the occasion! Our Couple’s Story

Cortlin works as a surgical tech in the operating room, and David works for a mortgage company working on the finance end. Together they have two fur babies and love hanging out with their cuties and taking them for walks. 

Cortlin and David first crossed paths while working together, and they quickly realized they also worked well together as a couple! They were engaged during a trip to Arizona to visit Antelope Canyon. Cortlin describes it as “The best day ever!” We can only imagine! And now the couple has another best day ever, their Maui venue wedding!

Krista and Ashlee said “I do” with a Micro Wedding in Hawaii on the green lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea. The tradewinds came out to play but it only added to the comfortable atmosphere, with plenty of sunshine to warm guests’ shoulders and an island breeze to keep them cool. There was endless happiness on the shore that day, and we could not get enough of the love shared between our brides!

The Micro Wedding in Hawaii

Krista and Ashlee walked down the aisle hand in hand, wearing complementary gowns and smiles that said it all. This is the day their future begins! Holding matching Rustic Hawaiian Bouquets and sporting elegant sandals, Krista and Ashlee looked right at home against the seaside, not to mention right at home with each other! From smiles to sweet lean-ins, these two were clearly made for each other and it was a joy to be a part of their Micro Wedding in Hawaii! 

Our Couple’s Story

Krista works as the athletic trainer and teacher of the medical classes at a local high school, and Ashlee works with the women’s basketball team at one of the local universities. They love all things camping, especially spending the summer months in their camper trailer. Together they have two pups and love to play games– cards, board, yard– you name it and Krista and Ashlee probably love it!

Krista and Ashlee have been together since 2005 and met while Krista was in high school and they were both lifeguards at a local pool. The connection was instant, but it took several years for the romance to bloom. Then one special Christmas morning, Ashlee looked into her stocking. When she found that ring at the bottom, she turned and found Krista on her knee! A life-long love? Best Christmas present ever! Scroll for more of this sweet couple!

Our wedding party waited patiently for Autumn’s entrance. Wearing a flowing gown with intricate lace details and a smile to outshine the sea, Autumn was simply beautiful. Mason could hardly contain himself! When your love is this strong, it can’t be contained! We could not get enough of the sweet moments shared between these two. From forehead touches to nose-kisses, there was no doubt that Autumn and Mason were marrying their person! 

Our Couple’s Story

Autumn is an Xray Tech, working for a surgeon, and Mason is a hardworking chemical engineer. They both grew up in Billings, MT and met while working at the same sporting goods store. The chemistry was practically instant. But when Autumn realized Mason was a Junior while she was a Senior, she almost let him go. Luckily, she knew better! 

After graduating college, they moved in and began building a life together. They adopted their dog, Oliver, bought a house, and got engaged! Autumn tells the story: “We got engaged in November 2020 at Disney World Animal Kingdom. Mason got down on one knee in front of the tree of life. Karyne and Tristan’s Maui Destination Wedding featured a spectacular view, cheering loved ones, and a couple as sweet and in love as can be! The 5 Palms set the stage and the Maui sky decorated with sweeping blues and a vibrant sunset. It was our pleasure to be a part of Karyne and Tristan’s wonderful day!

Tristan waited for the love of his life, wearing a smokey gray suit and blush tie and the biggest smile that says, “This is the day!” Escorted by her father, Karyne is radiant in a Roman-cut gown with her hair in gorgeous pleating. We loved that moment of bursting happiness when she first laid eyes on her man. Sometimes a joy this strong just can’t be contained! 

Our Couple’s Story 

Karyne currently works for Piedmont Airlines as a gate agent at the Phoenix airport, and Tristan works for Uber! In their free time, they enjoy watching movies, going outside for hikes, and trying new restaurants! Karyne loves Maui and always knew that getting married on the island would be the perfect way to say, “I do”!

From as early as 8th grade, Karyne and Tristan knew there was something special in the works between them. They dated off and on for a few years until Karyne moved to Arizona during her Freshman year. And, of course, Tristan couldn’t let her slip away! Our Couple’s Story

Stephanie owns a hair salon, and Michael is the  director of virtual construction for an electrical contractor. Together they have four furbabies, two cats and two dogs.

Stephanie and Michael met the modern way, through the internet! They knew it was something special right away. They moved in together before they’d even said “I love you.” And then they booked the trip to Maui before they knew they wanted to get married! Their wedding day marks their ten-year anniversary, and we can only imagine what joy and adventures the next decade will bring!

With a cutie cheering them on and blue skies in all directions, Shurenkhand and Branko’s Hawaii Beach Wedding was everything dreams are made of! Po’olenalena Beach was bursting with sunshine and featured swaying palms and endless tropical goodness. The result was an unforgettable Maui wedding and picture-perfect moments!

Shurenkhand and Branko’s daughter was as cute as can be! We loved how she held close to daddy and was truly a part of her parents union. Wearing a beachy gown with geometric designs, Shurenkhand looked stunning with a single plumeria in her hair. Wearing a navy suit with leather accents, Branko added a masculine touch. We love this crew’s style! Classic with a splash of modern. 

But the best thing Shurenkhand and Branko wore that day was their adorable toddler! That girl had all the best views! Switching from Dad to Mom’s arms, this sweetie was right up with all the action and witnessed firsthand the love shared between Mom and Dad. And that was just the beginning of this sweet ceremony!

Nothing says “Living the dream” like a moment as sweet and adorable as this! We could not get enough of the sweet and tender affection shared between this family. From romantic couple moments to authentic parental affection, this wedding had all the love!

Our Couple’s Story

Shari works for American Express within Risk Management,  and Kevin works for Orange, a French-based telecom company in Sales. They have three girls between them–19, 22, and 23–who are all super ambitious and make Shari and Kevin very proud to be their parents! 

Shari and Kevin met online during COVID (talk about a silver lining!). Their first few dates were long walks around the lake in Austin, as they got to know each other in the open air. Elizabeth and Jose decided on a simple yet elegant Maui Beach Wedding to celebrate their love. Surrounded by a handful of loved ones and the soft ocean sprays, our couple was blanketed in the golden light of the late afternoon sun. From adorable getting-ready moments to plum-colored sunsets, this lovely wedding is one you don’t want to miss. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

We met up with Elizabeth and Jose at the Sands of Kahana. Our Maui Wedding Photographer clicked away to capture the sentimental and sweet moments as our couple readied themselves for the big moment. Wearing a classic off-the-shoulder gown with a pooling train and Hollywood curls, Elizabeth was simply gorgeous. 

In a classic style to match his beautiful bride, Jose wore a cream tie and navy suit with accents of brown leather. We loved the sweet moments shared in the comfort of the hotel room. But soon it was time to make their grand entrance on the shore! 

Our Couple’s Story

Elizabeth is a teacher and loves to hike and enjoy a bit of Netflix. Jose works as an electrician and loves to travel and hike trails with Elizabeth. They’ve been dating ten years and have grown into wonderful people together! They look forward to the joy and new growth marriage will bring. 

Our bride tells their story: “We met in 2011 at a friend’s birthday party. It was supposed to be a mascarade party but the only masked guy was Jose, lol. We instantly connected with each other. I couldn’t stop laughing at his jokes. He asked for my phone number that night and from there it just grew into this love story.”

“Jose and I got engaged one year ago today (3/15/20). We were going for a hike in the mountain range near our hometown. We decided to change our route and go explore a new area we have never been to. We reached our destination, and there was still snow to play around in. I was doing a snow angel and he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was soooo perfect. It was just us amongst nature and a beautiful view from our location. I couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect proposal :)”

Crisp air and a sapphire ocean set the stage for Kim and Cedric’s Hawaii destination wedding at the 5 Palms in Wailea. With highlights of white and bursts of tropical flowers, this ceremony was classic yet modern with a tropical twist. But no matter how gorgeous the venue, nothing could outshine our beautiful couple and the sweet and genuine love they share. 

The Hawaii Destination Wedding

Reverend Kuya began the ceremony with the deep and soul-stirring sound of the Hawaiian conch shell, cueing Kim to make her big debut. Wearing a Roman-cut gown with a lace bodice and delicate pearl hair accents, Kim is take-your-breath-away stunning. We could not get enough of the genuine smiles when our bride and groom met at the archway. How sweet are these two?! 

Following the ceremony, we took the newlyweds down to the sandy shore to capture their celebration against the setting sun. From dancing to cheering to sweet embraces, these two had us smiling from ear to ear. It’s so clear that for Kim and Cedric forever is just the beginning. 

The Maui sun didn’t hold back and put on a gorgeous show that seemed like it was just for Kim and Cedric. Bursting tangerines and soft hues of blue grays lit up the sky with the subtle purple silhouettes of the islands in the backdrop.

Kathryn and Randy’s Maui Beach Elopement on the shore of Ironwoods was a day set in destiny. While they were visiting Maui in 2020, the week the pandemic hit the US, Randy asked Kathryn to marry him, and they decided right then and there that they’d return to the island for the “I do.” Ironwoods Beach put on a great show with glistening tides and showers of warm light. The Maui Beach Elopement

Reverend Kimo began the ceremony with the blowing of the conch shell as Kathryn made her way down the shore. Wearing a lace gown with a low neckline and button accents, Kathryn is simply stunning. We love the vibrant pop of her Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet and matching flower crown. In a traditional navy suit and wearing an unbeatable smile, Randy is the epitome of a happy groom. The love and affection these two share was undeniable.

Our Couple’s Story

Kathryn is a Project Manager in healthcare, and Randy is an  Inspection Supervisor for a municipality. Randy has a 15-year-old son who has special needs and is a wonderful young man. Together they love the outdoors, hiking, beach time, or taking drives. They both love the ocean. Randy was a deep-sea diver and is drawn to the water.

When asked why they decided on a Maui Beach Elopement, Kathryn replied, “Randy’s family is in Kansas and mine is in Oregon. With the pandemic, it just felt like the best decision was to elope.  We know our family and friends will be with us in spirit and cheering us on from afar.” 

Kathryn and Randy crossed paths five years ago. They lived about 90 minutes away, but set up a first date and planned to meet each other at the halfway mark. Kathryn was skeptical about starting something with such a long commute and almost declined the date. Then Randy asked, “But what if there’s magic?” which convinced her to give it a shot. And what magic there was! Their love spell was almost instant and the rest is history.

Peggy and Mark’s Hawaii Beach Elopement was filled with warm sunshine, the soft sounds of the ukulele, and the laughter of love. The golden hour at Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua bathed the shore in warm pastel hues as the ocean rolled gently. With cake and cider and gorgeous cliff portraits to celebrate, this was the perfect way to say “I do.”

Peggy and Mark arrived together, but we ushered Mark to the end of the shore so he could await his bride for her traditional entrance. Wearing a lace-bodice gown with an illusion back and straps, and with her sunny hair twisted into an asymmetrical bun, Peggy was stunning. Peggy and Mark are both nurses and love to bike. In fact, they met in a bike ride group through a mutual friend. Peggy joked to our Maui photographer that she got to stare at Mark’s behind for 30+ miles on their first biking trip together! Jo made an entrance in a gorgeous sweetheart gown with jewel embellishments and an elegant pulled-back hairstyle perfect for the sandy shore. She was absolutely stunning. Bringing his own flair to the beach, Mo looked fantastic in a vibing printed jacket with a black waistcoat and lapels. The best thing they wore? Those adoring looks. 

Our Couple’s Story

Jo and Mo are lovingly known as MoJo because their crew grew up with the Power Puff Girls and they couldn’t let a good Mojojo reference slip by! This couple is strong beyond belief. Seven years ago, Jo was diagnosed with stomach cancer on December 18th. But Mo knew the power of reclaiming the date, and of amplifying the light in the darkness. He knew what he wanted to do, and figured what better date to reclaim with love. So years later, on that very day, he asked her to marry him. Jo says, “He asked on a bad day for a good reason. That’s how genuinely thoughtful he is.” 

And now Jo is a stage V cancer survivor!! Love wins!! This amazing power couple grew up in the same small neighborhood but officially noticed each other nine years ago at a friend’s party. Mo, being the gentleman he is, “walked a sloppy drunk Jo safely home, across town, in the wee hours of the morning.” From then on it was pure chemistry, and the two talked every single day. 

Together they have one furbaby named Swervy and love to go on hikes and watch Warrior games together, although they’re “somewhat bitter football rivals.” Mo backs the Raiders and Jo backs the 49ers! Yep, their love is that strong! Keep scrolling for more of this amazing couple!
