After visiting Hawaii a few months back, I have never been more sure about the whole thing,” our lovely bride, Joy, told our wedding coordinators before their Maui venue wedding. Ryan, a certified flight instructor at a renowned aeronautical school, has an adventurous side too so he was totally on-board with the whole idea! 😉 It was an honor to bring their vision to life; we know how much this day meant to them. Joy and Ryan opted for an inimate celebration at Gather, formly named Gannons, in Kihei. All their friends and family gathered in attendance to celebrate the happy pair. This gorgeous view on the grassy knoll was a picturesque backdrop for their sweet vow exchange. There were many laughs, tears, hugs, and kisses of, course, namely between the happy newlyweds, Joy and Ryan! We could feel the emotion and the tenderness these two shared the moment Ryan turned around to catch his first glimpse of Joy…

A Dream Come True

With many cheers and congratulations echoing for our happy pair, we went down to Southside Beach, for some newlywed portraits! These two are the best of friends…they actually met in high school when Joy was the lead role in a play and Ryan was a lead tech behind the scenes. Something clicked when they met and both felt drawn to learn more about each other…

Fate had a hand in bringing Aimee and Greg together! They met while working at a country club and kept in touch over 10+ years. It was only until they reconnected in Austin at a concert in 2017 they bonded while solving the riddles on Lone Star bottle caps! So sweet. And our Texas lovers have been inseparable ever since!

While they were planning for a dream Hawaii vacation with Aimee’s parents, they thought Maui would be a beautiful landscape to exchange vows in a small, private ceremony with just their family. From the Lone Star state to the sandy beaches of Hawaii, their love story continues with their beautiful Maui elopement! As you’ll see, they had a beautiful evening surrounded by their loved ones and the aloha spirit…

Aimee and Greg’s Maui elopement was sweetness and light! It was a glorious evening at Maluaka Beach – the light is so golden and soft. Maui’s golden hour is one of our favorite times of the day for wedding photography coverage because everything looks painterly and dreamy. The tropical ambiance was all the decor and features they wanted (and needed!) for this beautiful moment…Their family was thrilled to join them with toes in the sand and the warm sun on their faces. Our happy couple are co-parenting, raising an amazing 15-year-old daughter, Eleanor, who is their pride and joy. All in all, it was the elegant and relaxed ceremony they dreamed of for their special day!

Our Dream Day

These two couldn’t stop smiling throughout their Maui elopement! The way they look at each other in these portraits says everything… after long-distance dating and star-crossed paths, this moment finally arrived when they can say they are “Just Maui’d!”

Aimee’s lace ankle-length dress looks so elegant and romantic. The delicate embroidering is so stunning on her, don’t you think? And it perfectly compliments Greg’s olive green suit! Although they didn’t mind getting their lovely attire a little wet as they shared a dance and dipped their toes in the waves! “I loved the idea of a destination wedding, and it gives our families the excuse to go on a vacation all together,” Jayme said before her Maui venue wedding! And what a beautiful day it was for everyone in attendance! They were so happy to be in Hawaii to celebrate with their families and start the next chapter of their romance. These two have a very sweet love story – let’s just say Grandpa knows best!

In 6th grade, he told Jayme that she would marry “this boy” that her Grandma was tutoring…she laughed it off and ignored it. But then fast forward to both of them in high school, where they met at a youth church camp and were smitten! And seven years later, these two lives were forever entwined, and they officially started dating, and the rest was history! Re-live their beautiful day with us in these memories below…

Jayme always dreamed of a destination wedding and was so delighted to see all the options we offer for an affordable Maui venue wedding and destination wedding on top of that! She had visited Hawaii before but was excited to create new tropical memories with Corbin for the first time. All heads turned (especially Corbin’s) when she entered with her dad at Rustic Hawaiian Ruins. Everyone prayed and gave a sacred blessing over our happy pair before their ceremony began. Their beautiful celebration was lighthearted, full of love and joy…and a little touch of country too!

How fun are these portraits?! The tropical and country mix was so unique for their wedding party attire! They went for a “Coastal Cowboy theme” – so fun! We love it when our couples incorporate elements of their personalities and styles into their Maui venue wedding, like Jayme and Corbin! You can take the couple out of the countryside but not the country of the couple! Our beautiful bride looks so lovely in her lace gown with vibrant tropical blooms…Corbin looks very handsome and dapper with his hat to match her boots 🙂

“After a couple of years of intense love and worldwide hardships, our relationship grew deeper and more rooted in understanding,” Maricella told us before she exchanged her vows with Lucas at their intimate Maui venue wedding. These lovebirds met at work, and their romance quickly progressed …it was only when Lucas got down on one knee while on a hike with tears in his eyes did they take the next step in their love story! Kayla and Zach are a couple who share a deep love for the magnificent Hawaiian Islands. From the moment they met, they knew that Hawaii would be an essential part of their lives together. This beach on the island’s South Side is known for its stunning views of the ocean, sunsest, and tranquil atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for Kayla and Zach to exchange their vows. They had a few close friends and family in attendance, and everyone was so excited to see these two tie the knot finally!

When you know you know.…our lovely pair knew of each other from the gym and through friends, but Zach said he knew right away the moment he met Kayla that she was the one! Hawaii gave it’s beautiful blessing to these two lovebirds and now they are husband and wife!

Congratulations to Destiny and Adam on their beautiful Maui beach wedding! The celebration was intimate, heartwarming, and filled with love. As business owners who run a transitional living house and are in the process of opening an outpatient treatment center for those battling addictions and mental health, it’s clear that their commitment to helping others extends to all aspects of their lives.

Destiny and Adam have four children, three girls, and one boy, so it was a special day for their family too! Our sweet couple chose Maui because of its breathtaking beauty…as you’ll see, the island showed off again for our happy pair!

For a bit of history on these two, Destiny and Adam met through mutual friends, and he proposed to her during a family photo shoot, and they’ve been waiting for this moment ever since!
