There was magic in the air during Kathleen and Andrew’s Maui Wedding on the shore of Poʻolenalena Beach. The Maui Wedding

Waiting for the love of his life, Andrew looked sleek in a tailored black tux. As he turned to take in Kathleen, his expression was collected and warm. The woman of his dreams was about to become his wife. Draped in a gown of lace with a summer-inspired flower crown and graceful waves, Kathleen was gorgeous! It was little wonder why this amazing couple couldn’t stop staring at each other!

Two days after their lovely ceremony, our photography team at Karma Hill Photography met up with Kathleen and Andrew once more. But this time it was on the rustic shore of Ironwoods in Kapalua. We loved how these two let loose and indulged in the ocean waves! 

Our Couple’s Story

Kathleen and Andrew are both pharmacists at the Portland VA Hospital. They love hiking, learning how to cook, traveling, working out on their Peloton, and of course watching TV (their new favorite show is The Masked Singer). Together they have two fur babies, their dogs Pikachu and Luca. 

Kathleen and Andrew met while they were in pharmacy school and have been together for nine years. One special day while they were relaxing at home, Andrew turned to her and said, “Hey, let’s get married.” And of course, she said yes! We love how natural and easy going these two are! Just look at those smiles!

It was a spectacular, fiery day during Antoinette and Jonathan’s Maui Vow Renewal. With a handful of loved ones in attendance and plenty to celebrate, there was no shortage of joy on the beach! The island even celebrated with a blazing sunset over Baldwin Beach that took our breath away!

The Maui Vow Renewal

After their tender vows, Antoinette and Jonathan were treated to a performance of  “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding, all performed by their talented seven-year-old daughter. The moment was beyond charming! After popping the cider to celebrate, our couple and their guests sliced into the cake and gave cheers to a decade of love.

Our Couple’s Story

When asked about their love story, Jonathan replied, “Antoinette and I have been married for 10 years. We met in Nursing School and are both from the Philippines, but we currently reside in Maryland working as nurses. We have a beautiful daughter named Sophia who recently turned 7, and we love to travel as a family and spend time outdoors.”

“My wife and I first met in Nursing School. After we graduated, my wife went home to the Philippines, and I realized that she was the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. Tiffany and Jairus didn’t plan to Elope in Maui, but with COVID and the complications it created, a beach elopement seemed like the perfect solution. And it was certainly a gorgeous and joyous solution! Set on the white sands of Southside Beach, Tiffany and Jairus said “I do” with the salty ocean breeze at their back and the tropical sun on their shoulders.

We love when couples choose to elope in Maui because they can express their love in their own unique way. Celebrating back home with an after party with loved ones is always an option and a great way to share the experience. There was no question how happy and warm Tiffany and Jairus felt as they tied the knot. 

Wearing a long-sleeved gown of intricate lace and carrying a bouquet to match the pastel beach skies, Tiffany was absolutely lovely. We could not look away as Tiffany and Jairus stood side by side and shared sweet lean-ins and warm smiles. 

Our Couple’s Story

Tiffany and Jairus are both tax accountants. They love spending time as a couple by trying new restaurants, going out for brunch, taking long walks, and struggling to find TV shows to watch together. As of right now, the only one they can agree on is The Office! They’re giving off all the Jim and Pam vibes! 

Maui was the destination for their first vacation together back in 2018, and it holds a special place in their hearts. It was the perfect place to elope! The rest of their big day is right here on the blog!

It was endless joy and love at Shannara and Tre’s Destination Wedding in Maui. Set on the grassy knoll of Gannon’s and overlooking the panoramic coastal view, loved ones cheered on this very special union. We were thrilled to be part of such an amazing and sweet wedding day!

The Destination Wedding in Maui 

The day was clear and breezy with fragrant blooms and ocean sprays scenting the air. Our photography team captured beautiful getting-ready shots as Shannara put on her finishing touches in the condo. Wearing a gown with illusion lace designs and an elaborate train, Shannara was impossible to look away from. We could not get enough of her genuine smile and natural beauty.

Our Couple’s Story

Tre is a Police Officer for the Seattle Police Department, and Shannara is waiting for the stay-at-home order to be lifted to finish the last part of school to become a Medical Assistant. They have one fur baby, a Goldendoodle named Boris. In their free time, Tre likes to play football for intramural league and play video games. Shannara spends most of her days with Boris and also enjoys cooking and gardening. She really enjoys going to concerts and festivals. As a couple, they enjoy hiking, kayaking, and exploring food.

Shannara grew up in Maui and lived here until she was twenty-one. After moving to Seattle, she fell in love with the city as she stood at a special point. Then one day, she met Tre, who was already working as a police officer. The connection was instant. When the time was right, Tre took Shannara back to that special spot in Seattle and asked her to marry him. Clearly, she said yes! And the next step was a Maui Destination Wedding!

Mona and Nathan’s Maui Venue Wedding took place on the oceanside lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea, and what a breathtaking day it was! With plenty of sunlight and an island breeze to cool the guests, Mona and Nathan took the wonderful step of starting their journey as husband and wife.

The day was vibrant with glistening oceans and clear skies. We loved how both the bride and groom made their entrance arm and arm with their loving parent. The smiles were contagious! The moment Mona stepped out into the aisle was magical. A hush came over the venue and Nathan clasped his hands together as he watched her, so ready to tie his life together with his beautiful bride. 

Our Couple’s Story

Mona and Nathan are both pharmacists who grew up in Oregon! Together they love exploring the Pacific Northwest, traveling, trying out new recipes, and hanging with family. They met at work and dated while Mona was finishing up pharmacy school. It seemed like Fate had prescribed them “love of the century,” and Nathan knew the time was right. If we had to choose one word to describe Kimberly and Johnnie’s Maui Venue Elopement, it would be unforgettable. Set on the sweeping grounds of the Dragon Fruit Farm in Lahaina with a panoramic ocean view and tropical blooms scenting the air, this ceremony was simply gorgeous. And with a lovely couple who shared plenty of laughter and sweet moments, the day was flooded with love. 

The Maui Venue Elopement

The moment Kimberly graced the lawn was pure magic. Wearing an endless veil, an elegant lace gown, and an up-do fit for royalty, she clearly took Johnnie’s breath away. The love shared between these two was palpable. Kimberly and Johnnie were married in front of a circular arch decorated with greenery and fragrant blooms with the aqua waters glistening in the backdrop. From tender vows to megawatt smiles, these two were over the moon to say “I do.”

Following the ceremony, our photography crew escorted our couple to the shoreline for a few beach shots against the setting sun. And Kimberly and Johnnie traveled there in style in a classic convertible cruiser! We loved the way her veil waved and cheered as they drove off! You know those days that are so unbelievably happy that everything feels like it has a golden glow around it? That’s the vibe we got from Courtney and Tanner’s Hawaii micro wedding. The happiness had no end. Set against the sweeping west Maui views of Gannon’s grassy knoll, this lovely ceremony featured adoring guests, bursts of tropical flowers, and the salty breeze of the ocean.

Tanner was nothing but smiles as he awaited the entrance of his bride. And as an untraditional (but awesome) little twist, there wasn’t a flower girl but a flower MAN! Devin tossed those flowers like a seasoned pro and primed the grass with petals for Courtney’s grand entrance. And what a gorgeous bride she was! Wearing a lace gown with her hair in smooth yet beachy waves, it’s little wonder why Tanner couldn’t stop smiling! 

After celebrating their union with friends and family, we whisked Courtney and Tanner away to catch the setting sun on the shoreside. With soft, golden lighting that ended in a dramatic fiery sunset, it was the perfect send-off to a beautiful wedding day. But it didn’t end there! Jessica described her dream Venue Wedding in Maui as being “full of love,” and we have to say she really got it right! This beautiful ceremony took place in the historic ruins of the Trinity by the Sea church among loved ones and beneath the soft tropical sky. This is a wedding that can’t be missed!

The Venue Wedding in Maui

Located on the Kihei coast, the Trinity by the Sea church is a spectacular wedding venue that perfectly melds the traditional church setting with rustic, tropical elements. Looking great in his dress uniform, James wore the most sincere and sweet look as he watched his beautiful bride and partner for life as she made her way down the aisle.

We’re in love with Jessica’s Celtic-inspired bell sleeves and cathedral-length train. With her hair in delicate curls and wearing an expression of pure love, Jessica was simply gorgeous. The tender exchanges and meaningful moments throughout the ceremony were beyond touching and spoke volumes to the size of this couple’s love. 

Our Couple’s Story

Jessica and James met through Bumble, as so many of our couples have! Jessica was balancing work and taking care of three children as a single mom, while James was busy with his career as an Air Force pilot. Both found that the online dating world was the only reasonable option for their schedules. And it worked! After a few months of dating, Jessica and James fell in love. Then a year later, James proposed on Christmas day while they were visiting his son in North Dakota. These photos say it all, this love is here to stay!

Krista and Ashlee walked down the aisle hand in hand, wearing complementary gowns and smiles that said it all. This is the day their future begins! Our Couple’s Story

Krista works as the athletic trainer and teacher of the medical classes at a local high school, and Ashlee works with the women’s basketball team at one of the local universities. They love all things camping, especially spending the summer months in their camper trailer. Together they have two pups and love to play games– cards, board, yard– you name it and Krista and Ashlee probably love it!

Krista and Ashlee have been together since 2005 and met while Krista was in high school and they were both lifeguards at a local pool. The connection was instant, but it took several years for the romance to bloom. Then one special Christmas morning, Ashlee looked into her stocking. Our wedding party waited patiently for Autumn’s entrance. Wearing a flowing gown with intricate lace details and a smile to outshine the sea, Autumn was simply beautiful. Mason could hardly contain himself! When your love is this strong, it can’t be contained! We could not get enough of the sweet moments shared between these two. From forehead touches to nose-kisses, there was no doubt that Autumn and Mason were marrying their person! 

Our Couple’s Story

Autumn is an Xray Tech, working for a surgeon, and Mason is a hardworking chemical engineer. They both grew up in Billings, MT and met while working at the same sporting goods store. The chemistry was practically instant. But when Autumn realized Mason was a Junior while she was a Senior, she almost let him go. Luckily, she knew better! 

After graduating college, they moved in and began building a life together. They adopted their dog, Oliver, bought a house, and got engaged! Autumn tells the story: “We got engaged in November 2020 at Disney World Animal Kingdom. Mason got down on one knee in front of the tree of life. Karyne and Tristan’s Maui Destination Wedding featured a spectacular view, cheering loved ones, and a couple as sweet and in love as can be! Tristan waited for the love of his life, wearing a smokey gray suit and blush tie and the biggest smile that says, “This is the day!” Escorted by her father, Karyne is radiant in a Roman-cut gown with her hair in gorgeous pleating. We loved that moment of bursting happiness when she first laid eyes on her man. Sometimes a joy this strong just can’t be contained! 

Our Couple’s Story 

Karyne currently works for Piedmont Airlines as a gate agent at the Phoenix airport, and Tristan works for Uber! In their free time, they enjoy watching movies, going outside for hikes, and trying new restaurants! Karyne loves Maui and always knew that getting married on the island would be the perfect way to say, “I do”!

From as early as 8th grade, Karyne and Tristan knew there was something special in the works between them. They dated off and on for a few years until Karyne moved to Arizona during her Freshman year. And, of course, Tristan couldn’t let her slip away!
