We are so lucky that Anna & Julian chose us to be their Maui Wedding Coordinator. They were a joy to work with, and their elegant ceremony was a dream.

Sea of Love

Anna and Julian chose not to see each other before the ceremony. This added a few more nerves but a lot of excitement to the day. Julian was so sweet as he waited for his bride on the beach, and Anna was so excited to walk to her handsome groom.

Their live Hawaii wedding musician played “Sea of Love” as Anna walked up to the altar. Then Reverend Kuya opened the ceremony by blowing the Pu, or conch shell.

Dellables created a flower semicircle on the beach for the couple to stand in. It was the perfect accent to the beach setting, and it matched Anna’s bouquet perfectly.

And then it was time for the big moment when Anna & Julian said “I Do.” They sealed their vows with a kiss, then basked in their newlywed glow. We loved it all from start to finish, and we’re so grateful we got to be their Maui Wedding Coordinator!

About This Couple

This Seattle couple met at the University of Washington. They love swimming, bowling, hiking, and video games. Swimming is such a big part of Anna’s life that Julian proposed at their local swim club — it was all part of a romantic and elaborate scavenger hunt he planned for her.

Maui is also a big part of this couple’s life. Anna grew up visiting the island regularly, and eventually Julian joined them on their family vacations. So it was only appropriate that they wed in this magical too. Once they had their Maui Wedding Coordinator booked, they were ready to pack their bags and begin their romantic getaway!

Mercedes & Alex kept the guest count small for their Maui Beach wedding. It was their children and granddaughter who attended in person. But they were also supported by friends and family from all over.

They wanted to include all their loved ones in their special day, so they booked our “Wish You Were Here” elopement option, which recorded their ceremony for same-day streaming. What a sweet way to ensure your ceremony stretches beyond Maui’s shoreline!

A Hawaiian Inspired Ceremony for a Maui Beach Wedding

Reverend Richardo officiated such a warm and heartfelt ceremony for Mercedes & Alex. He included Hawaiian-inspired traditions, like a lei exchange chant. We could feel the embrace of the island as he offered a blessing over them, and their vows were so sweet.

Small beach weddings like this one allow us to get to know the couple, learn about their story, and understand their journey to this moment. It makes it all that much sweeter when they receive their final blessing and share that first kiss as husband & wife.

Toes in the Sand, Sun on our Shoulders, Love in our Hearts

After the ceremony, Mercedes & Alex took some photos with their kids. Their granddaughter Hazel was ready to steal the show (and our hearts!). We’re so glad she got to be a part of their wedding, as we know it made the moment and its memories that much sweeter.

Next, it was time for the newlyweds to get romantic portraits around the beach. Polo Beach is such a pretty spot. We got pictures with palm trees, lava rocks, emerald green shrubbery, and of course, that dreamy late afternoon glow!

Elopement Getting Ready Photography

Even the smallest, sweetest weddings deserve great getting-ready photography. This is the chance for the bride to revel in her head-to-toe style and capture bridal portraits as unique and stunning as her. And Christie understood the assignment!

We’re so glad we got to capture these exciting final moments before she headed off to the beach to marry the love of her life.

While Christie was putting the final touches on her bridal style, Christopher was at the beach, anxiously awaiting her arrival. We love the moment when he first saw her at the ceremony. It was like all his nerves evaporated and he was left with only blissful love. We’re getting chill bumps looking at the Maui elopement photos because it was so sweet!

All The Light They Need

Ok, we definitely hoped for a bright sunny day for Christie & Christopher’s Maui elopement, but we’re actually super obsessed with the colors and lighting at the beach. The clouds settled over the calm water, filtering the light into dreamy hues of blues and green. It was peaceful and beautiful, just like Christie & Christopher’s love for each other.

Besides, they are so bright and full of life that they provided all the light we needed at the beach for their Maui elopement.

Maui Elopement at Poʻolenalena Beach

Christie & Christopher wed at Poʻolenalena Beach in South Maui. This large stretch of sand boasts views of Kahoʻolawe, Molokini, Pu’u Ola’i, and the West Maui Mountains. Plus, there are tall palm trees, vibrant green shrubbery, and dramatic lava rock formations. It’s a location that’s both playful and romantic, so it was the perfect spot for these love birds.

They shared a dance in the rain, and then the clouds held back long enough for us to get a majestic sunset picture that’s sure to get framed. It was such a fun Maui elopement from start to finish, and we are so happy we get to share these pictures with Christie & Christopher!

Relaxed, simple, and fun are a few words that describe Wenting and Jacob’s venue wedding in Hawaii! Gannon’s lush lawn was the location for this event. Wenting and Jacob decided to have a wedding in Hawaii because it’s the perfect location! Their ultimate goal was to have an intimate ceremony at a destination they could also spend their honeymoon. However, Maui’s tranquil environment and adventurous activities drew them in! This tropical getaway was their first time on the island — they couldn’t wait to experience this spot for themselves! Based on their smiles in these photos, you can tell they fell in love with this place.

The Peaceful Venue Wedding in Hawaii

Our delightful duo met during their time at the University of Connecticut! They were both Accounting Majors and happened to enroll in the same Federal Income Taxes class for the Fall of 2017. The universe works in magical ways because our passionate pair was in the same group for a semester-long project! Finally, on January 2, 2018, Wenting and Jacob began dating. 

Then on August 21, 2021, Jacob popped the question. Our handsome groom thought the best place to propose would be the same spot they met! After a calming summer-night walk around campus, Jacob asked Wenting for her hand in marriage. From there, the rest is history!

Currently, Jacob is a Senior Tax Associate at ASSA ABLOY, Inc. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and attending concerts in his free them. Wenting is a Tax Associate with KPMG and loves to paint! Our radiant newlyweds like going on adventures and trying new cuisine. Having a venue wedding in Hawaii was perfect because they got to explore the island and taste Maui’s delicious food!

Our Couple’s Story

Our charming couple’s story began when they met on a dating app in 2018 — and the rest is history! On Allie and Rob’s first date, they walked around Lake Calhoun, a popular Minneapolis spot. Allie wasn’t sure if Rob liked her because he was quiet and laid back. However, our delightful duo has been together ever since this unforgettable day! Then on 10/10/21, Rob popped the magical question at Lake Calhoun with their dog, Rosie. It was perfect because he proposed at the place they first met!

Why They Had a Hawaii Beach Wedding

This lovely getaway was Allie and Rob’s first time on the island! Everyone our passionate pair talked to said Maui was magical, and it changed them. Allie and Rob knew they wanted to experience Hawaii’s captivating energy! In addition, they wanted to honeymoon here, so they decided to tie the knot in this tropical destination. We adore their special day because it was intimate, calm, and stress-free — ideal for them! Above all, we know they’ll never forget their first time here!

Allie and Rob show us how beautifully opposites attract one another! Rob is laidback and quieter, while Allie is very opinionated and quick-witted. Currently, Rob is a Sales Rep for a Home Renovation Company. Then Allie is an Esthetician and owns her own business. Our Couple’s Story

Christine and Hunter’s story began when they met on Tinder in 2016. At the time, Christine was in college in Nebraska while Hunter attended the University of Arizona. Once the semester ended, Christine moved back home to Phoenix. However, Hunter spent the summer with his dad in Texas. Throughout this time, our delightful duo texted and FaceTimed every day. They even planned to meet in person for the first time. As soon as they saw one another, it was love at sight!

Why They Had A Maui Beach Wedding

Christine has always been a beach baby! Growing up, her family took her to San Diego every summer — she always loved the seaside. When Christine was six years old, her parents took her to Hawaii. She instantly became obsessed with the island. One day, she ran away from the resort and said she wasn’t returning to Arizona!

During her first summer here, they stayed at the Royal Lahaina. Christine saw a wedding taking place there; it was one of the most magical things she’d ever seen. Ever since she knew she wanted to get married in Maui! Christine and Hunter’s Maui beach wedding was a dream come true — and it was absolutely flawless!

Currently, Christine and Hunter live in Indiana. Our handsome groom is a Medical Information Specialist at Eli Lilly. Then our breathtaking bride is a behavior coach for kiddos! Our passionate pair enjoys spending time with their two dogs and doing fun activities around town.

Why They Had A Destination Wedding in Maui

In the summer of 2019, Jamie and Danielle visited Maui — they instantly fell in love with the island and everything they’d experienced! Once they left, they felt this spot would be their special place. When Jamie and Danielle imagined their wedding, they knew they wanted it to be a celebration focused on the love and support they get. They knew an intimate ceremony in a destination they adore would be a magical way to tie the knot!

Danielle says the moment she got engaged was kind of a surprise, but not really. Our beautiful bride picked out her ring. However, Jamie got to propose during fall — his favorite time of the year! Our handsome groom popped the question on a historic, scenic high bridge in their hometown. Since Danielle is so cerebral, Jamie created multiple plans and layers to set up so she wouldn’t know it was coming!

 Gina and Magno have been married for twenty-five glorious years! One of our favorite things about this event is the day they had it. Our passionate pair had their vow renewal on August 10th — the day of their wedding anniversary. It made this occasion heartwarming to know they were commemorating their marriage and renewing their love on the same day! After Gina and Magno’s ceremony, they continued the festivities with more guests at Monkeypod!

Attending Gina and Magno’s Maui vow renewal was their daughters, grandkids, and a boyfriend! However, only their oldest daughter was at their wedding twenty-five years ago. Then their second daughter was a baby, so she had to stay home. This sunset affair was significant because all of Gina and Magno’s children could be with them! When we imagine a heartwarming, ethereal, and tropical ceremony — we think of Natalie and Robert’s Hawaii beach wedding! This sunset affair was absolutely breathtaking. Southside Beach created a romantic background for this event. Then, our charming pair only had two guests in attendance, making their occasion as intimate as possible! Most importantly, Natalie and Robert were full of joy every second of their special day. Keep scrolling to experience this delightful afternoon for yourself.

We set up for this ceremony on a secluded corner of the shoreline! Lush greenery, dramatic lava rocks, and lofty palm trees surrounded our stunning couple. Then the beige sand and foamy azure waves enhanced the captivating background! In addition, we like how splendid the weather looks. Although there was heavy cloud coverage, they made the sky look like a dreamy painting. As the afternoon progressed, the sun peeked between the clouds. Its brilliant rays left a golden glow on the beach — creating a romantic mood!

The Elegant Hawaii Beach Wedding

Our gorgeous couple’s ceremony began with our groom arriving at the shoreline. Robert walked to the top of the seaside and took his spot beside the officiant, Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o. Then when she was ready, Natalie walked down the sand with her father by her side! We like our charming pair’s ceremony because it’s intimate. Natalie’s mom and dad were the only two people in attendance! Above all, our favorite thing about this sunset affair is how simply sweet it is. Seeing Natalie and Robert’s blissful smiles throughout Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o’s sermon was lovely to witness!

After their Hawaii beach wedding, we asked Natalie and Robert how they felt about it. We were elated to hear they adored their ceremony as much as we did! They said their day was perfect — it was as beautiful and simple for them as it could have been. Every detail, including the location and all the vendors, was what our passionate pair was looking for. More than anything, we’re happy this sunset event will be a memory they’ll always cherish!
