Kasey and Joshua flew all the way from Fort Wayne, Indiana to stand in that golden light, and we could see immediately that this was exactly where they were meant to be. Two microbiologists who met on the same hospital shift, who fell in love somewhere between lab reports and long nights, choosing sunshine and salt air as the backdrop to forever.

The ocean stretched endlessly behind them, the waves rolling in soft and steady, and Kasey looked at Josh like he had just handed her another note tied to one of their beloved dogs asking her to marry him all over again.
