Casey and Logan wanted their wedding in Maui to be simple yet beautiful, something they’d look back on and cherish over the decades to come. Not wanting to harbor the stress of a big wedding in their hometown, a small wedding in Hawaii seemed like the perfect fit! Trinity Episcopal Church by-the-Sea set the stage for a ceremony that was simple, beautiful, and so much more!

Trinity by the Sea is a historic gem of old Hawaii. The hand-laid coral brick architecture dates back to the early 1800s and features a spectacular rustic wooden cross. With a roof that has long been lost to an ancient storm, the Maui sky now serves as the lofty and unparalleled ceiling for all ceremonies held within its walls. We love how Casey’s rustic Hawaiian bouquet and flower crown effortlessly tie in the palms swaying in the backdrop.

Casey and Logan both work for an Infinity car dealership, with Logan working as a technician and Casey as a service advisor. They built a strong friendship for over a year before revving the engine on love. Together they have one furbaby, a cavalier King Charles who is their world! Mahalo, Casey and Logan, for trusting us with your wedding in Hawaii. It was a joy getting to know you and your loved ones. We wish you only the best in the years ahead!

The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins at Trinity by the Sea were flooded with tropical blooms and island fruit for Myra and Adrien’s Hawaii Venue Wedding. The pops of color and luau-like atmosphere did not disappoint! Subtle overcast lighting and a refreshing breeze greeted the guests and our spectacular bride and groom. We are so blessed to work in the Hawaii wedding industry because we get to meet amazing couples from near and far–and in Myra and Adrien’s case, just around the mountain!

The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins is one of our newest venue additions. Ancient coral bricks and authentic structural design bring the spirit of old Hawaii to life. With a rustic wooden cross towering in the backdrop and only the gentle sky above, this Maui wedding venue perfectly melds the traditional church setting with authentic Hawaii.
Myra and Adrien selected our Styled Rustic Hawaiian Set-Up– or, in other words, we decked out their Hawaii Venue Wedding with all the beauty of the tropics! Lush blooms and island fruit made gorgeous stand-ins for the traditional white-wedding decor.

Both born and raised on Maui, Myra and Adrien fit perfectly together. And it doesn’t hurt that they also get fit together! These two love a good workout! Myra and Adrien met through mutual friends, and for their first date, they broke a sweat at the gym.
When Adrien felt the time was right, he arranged for a couple’s hike up the Wainee Ridge… but the workout wasn’t the only reason Adrien was sweating. Once they got to the top, he popped the big question! And clearly, from their sweet reactions during the I do’s, this couple is strong in so many ways.

Following the ceremony, we gathered the whole crew for Hawaii wedding group portraits. And made sure to capture Adrien with the two loves of his life, his gorgeous wife and his precious daughter. Keep scrolling for more stunning photos of Myra and Adrien making the most of their Big Day!

Simply stunning.

Mahalo nui loa, Myra and Adrien for choosing us to plan your Maui Venue Wedding. It was truly a blessing to work with you. We wish you all the best in life (and workouts!) in the years ahead!

Michelle & John were forced to just go with the flow this year! Like so many other couples their wedding plans had to be changed many times due to Covid. It’s funny though how sometimes things come together and you realize they are just as they should be. Having a small, intimate Maui Venue Wedding turned out perfect for these two. They were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by swaying palms and their closest family and friends.
The Rustic Hawaiian Ruins are our newest venue here on Maui. They offer a lush tropical setting in the historic ruins of the Kilohani Church. This is the perfect spot to say “I do” if you have over 8 guests. Beach weddings are currently restricted to 10 people total including vendors, but a private venue offers more flexibility.

A butterfly fluttered around them during the ceremony. Michelle felt that it was a sign from her grandmother being their for their special moment.

Michelle & John still hope to have a big wedding at home in 2021, but just in case that doesn’t work out, they’ve at least had a great wedding here in Hawaii!

John proposed to Michelle with the help of a sweet puppy last December. The puppy had a collar around it’s neck that read “Will you marry me?” Well played John!! A puppy is definitely the way to a woman’s heart!!

Mahalo for choosing Simple Maui Wedding, Michelle & John! You were such a joy to work with and we hope to see you two in Maui again soon!

We are beyond excited to introduce one of our newest Maui wedding venues, the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins! If you’re looking for a venue that’s rich in culture and surrounded by unbelievable tropical beauty, look no further! Our couples now have the opportunity to say “I do” in the historical ruins of the Kilolani Church. Built in 1852 by the Native Hawaiian historian and scholar, David Malo, the church once featured a thatched roof and blown glass windows, but after a devastating fire and severe flooding, the architecture was left in ruins. Yet even as ruins, the rustic and sacred beauty remains and then some!
The original hand-hewn coral and river rocks still embrace this venue but now the thatched roof has been replaced by the brilliant Maui sky. Located in sunny Kihei and just minutes away from Kihei Bay Surf and Menehune Shores Condos, the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins offers plenty of seating and ample parking. And did we mention swaying palms? Yep, endless swaying palms! Want to see more? Keep scrolling for an unforgettable styled shoot at our newest Maui wedding venue!

In 1976, this beautiful site was revived as the Trinity Episcopal Church by-the-Sea and is preserved and cared for by their dedicated community. To replace the blown glass windows, this venue has simply let the spectacular Maui greenery do its thing. Palms reach over the ruins and kiawe trees extend into the blue skies.
With rows of pews and a stone-laid altar front and center, the ceremony design opportunities are endless. For this styled shoot, our immensely talented friends at Dellables incorporated rustic and Hawaiian elements to accent the historical nature of the ruins. Fresh fruit, palms, orchids, and old-timey candles elevate this ceremony into a dream of tropical chic!

Planning on a beach wedding in Hawaii? Or just hoping to elope on the world’s most romantic sandy venue? We’re here to help make your dreams come true!

The fun-loving Chelsea and Cody were our gorgeous models for the day. Chelsea wore a boho gown with side cutouts and a neutral undertone that perfectly complemented Cody’s contemporary suit of cranberry and cobalt blue.

And once again, Dellables knocked it out of the park with a gorgeous rustic Hawaiian bouquet and endless florals and greenery to rock this beautiful Maui wedding venue.

Chelsea is one of the talented artists at Salon 253, so Adiel (the salon’s owner) treated her to incredible hairstyles! We’re loving the beachy waves of this retro glam! Keep scrolling for an elegant and rustic updo. Salon 253 offers bridal services via it’s bridal brand, Salon 253 Bride.

Following the ceremony portraits, we whisked our couple all the way to the beautiful Keaka beach–and by “all the way” we mean just down the street. Yes, literally! Not only is our newest Maui wedding venue ridiculously gorgeous, but it’s also unbelievably convenient!
Keaka beach is a stones throw away from the ruins and features an abundance of gorgeous photo opportunities. Scarlet and pink bougainvillea, a natural pond, a manicured green park, and a rustic stretch of white sand make this beach an unforgettable locale for newly-wed portraits.

Chelsea and Cody are engaged and plan to elope. These two lovebirds were a blast to work with and had us laughing throughout the shoot. We wish them all the smiles in the years ahead!

We can’t wait to coordinate real ceremonies at this spectacular Maui wedding venue! Special thanks to Dellables, Salon 253, and the Trinity Episcopal Church by-the-Sea for helping to turn this styled shoot into a reality!
