Tranquil, classic, and simple are a few words we’d use to describe Hansol and William’s special day! The dramatic scenery of Ironwoods Beach created a dreamy scene. Our Couple’s Story

Tom and Lisa first met through Facebook. At the time, Tom lived in southern California and Lisa in Chicago! Our elegant newlyweds bonded over their passion for traveling and had the perfect excuse to journey to see one another. After two years of visiting each other, Tom and Lisa got engaged and began living together!

Our beautiful couple decided to have a Maui beach elopement because they both adore the island! Tom has been visiting for years since attending the University of Hawaii. Early on in their relationship, Tom introduced Lisa to the Aloha State and brought her to Maui! This getaway was remarkable because our delightful couple created wonderful memories. Most importantly, Lisa became entranced with the island, and our charming newlyweds fell in love with one another!

When he pronounced Abi and Joe as husband and wife — their first kiss was magical! Before and after the wedding, Ka’ena played to the mood on his ukulele. Every song choice was perfect; the soothing melodies effortlessly enhanced the romantic ambiance!

Joe and Abi looked sophisticated, stylish, and bohemian when they eloped in Maui! Abi is a breathtaking bride! Her gown is ethereal, her makeup is glamorous, and her box braids are elegant. Joe makes a handsome groom! His linen suit is simply classic. We like how the neutral tones of their outfits complement the warm hues of the beach. Most importantly, our bride and groom look gorgeous with one another!

It was such a wonderful experience being their Maui wedding planner. From the start, they were a laid-back couple who trusted us to bring their dream wedding to life. They had chosen Maui as their destination because of its beautiful beaches and peaceful atmosphere.

Our Couple’s Story

Melanie is a touring bass player in the Boise, ID area. In 2015, Taylor first met Melanie at one of her shows in downtown Boise. When the concert was over, he approached her at the merchandise booth, and they chatted for a while! They had their first date on August 5, 2015! Then, on May 17, 2021, Taylor proposed on the patio of their favorite Mexican spot with the soft sunset above them. It was just like their Maui beach wedding: low-key, sweet, and simple!

Our lovely couple dressed flawlessly for their special day! Taylor is handsome in his navy blue suit, and we adore how bohemian our bride looks! In September 2019, our charming couple took a trip to Kauai. They had so much fun during their trip; it made them want to explore more of Hawaii. Instead of returning to an island they’ve already experienced, they visited Maui to tie the knot! After being previously married, our loving couple wanted to have a small wedding with their loved ones in attendance. Their ceremony was perfect for them: intimate, relaxed, and filled with their closest family members!

Maluaka Beach was the location for this exquisite wedding. The azure water, chestnut sand, and striking lava rock formations are breathtaking backdrops! With a few clouds scattered around, the sky was a soft sapphire. As the sun sets, you can see the magical glow it creates on the shores of this south Maui spot. Our Couple’s Story

Brittany and Chelsea met while they were at work. In 2018, they visited Maui and loved everything about it! While they were vacationing in Vegas, Chelsea popped the magic question. It was so unexpected for Brittney because she never saw it coming!

The Maui Elopement

Tenesha and Clinton wanted a light and airy ceremony, making the ivory shores of Maluaka beach perfect for them! With the soft sunset above them and foamy waves crashing behind them — everything about this place is magical! We love how our beautiful couple’s wedding is just as dreamy as the landscape around them.

Our Couple’s Story

This gorgeous couple’s story began at a happy hour event in downtown Sacramento. Tenesha was at a table with her friend when Clinton and his group asked if they could join. While they were all chatting, Tenesha said she was moving out of her apartment and looking for a new one.

Knowing his neighbor was moving soon, Clinton offered to get her in touch with his landlord. That night they exchanged numbers. During their first date, he told Tenesha his neighbor never planned to move. Clinton just wanted a smooth way to get her number! How cute is that?

On February 14, 2020, they began planning their wedding. Clinton wanted a large local celebration, while Tenesha wanted an intimate ceremony on the beach. They both found themselves getting frustrated with arranging the details for their special day. Eventually, they decided to take a break. One day, Clinton threw out the idea of having a Maui elopement — Tenesha immediately said: “agreed”!

This charming duo did a lot of research on the Hawaiian islands. Ultimately, they felt Maui would be the best place for their fun and breezy elopement! We think they made the right decision because their wedding was breathtaking!

William intended on proposing to Joanna during their third anniversary trip to Maui. When the plans fell through, they spent their anniversary on Hornby Island, the Hawaii of the North. As they planned to tie the knot, they couldn’t imagine not having a Maui beach elopement!

The shores of this South Maui beach were calm so this lovely couple had plenty of space for their ceremony. It was hot but not too windy — the perfect weather for the occasion! 

You would think this beach is a fantasy because of how romantic it is! How the foamy aquamarine water washes onto the sandy shore and the whimsical greenery surrounding the shore is breathtaking. Above all, we love how the bright sun is shining on our beautiful couple! Although they are glowing on their own, the golden glimmer from the sun enhances it. Now, you can vividly see the happiness radiating from inside them!

Our Couple’s Story

Joanna and William’s story first began when they met in 2017 on a popular dating app. When they met in person, they instantly felt a connection with one another! One year later, they moved in together. In 2020, they were supposed to visit Maui where William would propose but those plans changed for them. Instead, they got engaged under an enchanting sunset on Hornby Island! For them, having a Maui beach elopement felt like everything was coming full circle in their love story.

Currently, Joanna is a psychotherapist, and William is a criminal defense lawyer. Although they don’t have any children, they are ecstatic to be getting a French Bulldog puppy soon. You can find them cooking, spending time with people they love, and appreciating art and culture in their spare time. Since they live in Vancouver, Canada near the beach and mountains, they always make time to be outdoors! In the future, they hope to start a family of their own.

Kristen and Kaylyn’s Maui beach wedding was beautiful in so many ways. With just family watching on and the panoramic view of the ocean in the backdrop, this day was beyond special. From a surprise beach-clearing event that left just the wedding party on the shore to a bursting sunset, this was truly a blessed occasion. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

Reverend Kuya opened the Maui beach wedding with the traditional blowing of the conch shell. Wearing gowns that complemented each other, Kristen and Kaylyn were visions on the beach. The day was windy, which added gorgeous movement to their trains. Shortly after the sweet ceremony, the sky opened up and it began to rain. It was a brief sprinkling, but it caused the beachgoers to pack up and leave. The result was a beach just to ourselves. 

Our Couple’s Story

Kristen and Kaylyn are both veterinarians and met on the job. Their connection was instant, but their love blossomed with time. Kaylyn asked Kristen to marry her during a romantic picnic at a national park in Ohio. She hid the ring in the basket and Kristen discovered it while she was unpacking the blanket. Emily and Sina’s beautiful Maui beach wedding was like a drop of sunshine, bright, warm, and kept making us smile. With a gorgeous tropical backdrop and a handful of loved ones watching on, this beautiful ceremony had everything island dreams are made of. 

The Maui Beach Wedding

We planned to have Emily and Sina’s Maui beach wedding on the shore of Southside, but with the threat of rain, we ended up moving the ceremony to Maluaka Beach. And it turned out to be a perfect choice! We can’t always shift the location, but we were able to get to the edge of the cloud line, which resulted in a slightly overcast ceremony and a sunset that was poppin’! Our Couple’s Story

Our bride had the sweetest story, that we just had to share on our blog! From our bride: 

“We met the age-old way – the internet! We actually matched on Coffee meets bagel. We talked for a few days and then met for our first date at a local bar/restaurant called Sovereign. 

“Proposal: we had an unseasonably warm day in Northern Virginia. We decided to go into DC to Georgetown and walk around. We went to take pictures in front of the place of our first date. That is when Sina gave the most heartwarming speech and dropped to his knee. I didn’t even say yes – I just said of course!” How cute is that?! The rest of their story is right here on our blog!
