We were honored to be part of Kimberly and Marlon’s Maui Destination Wedding! These two could not have been sweeter or more in love. And were an absolute blast to work with! One of our favorite parts of helping plan a couple’s wedding day is hearing the story of how they met. What started out as friends for Kimberly and Marlon eventually led them to where they are today! They went to the same high school, graduated with different sweethearts and reconnected after college. With a solid foundation of friendship set, we have no doubt these two will have a long and happy life together!
The moment our bride made her entrance at Gannon’s her groom started tearing up, and she followed suit soon after! They exchanged the sweetest vows, that had everyone tearing up throughout the entire ceremony. No worries tough, there definitely wasn’t any ugly crying 😉 . How could there be when they’re all so gorgeous!? One thing’s for sure, this was a Maui Destination Wedding to remember. Surrounded by loved ones, including Aaron’s two sons Jack and Max, this bride and groom were so excited to say, “I do” at their Maui Destination Wedding. And after meeting 5 years ago this couple was more than ready to get married! We especially love how Misty wrote her own vows to Aaron’s sons. It was a truly touching moment and one we know none of them will ever forget!
After their ceremony, and taking a few gorgeous portraits with our sister company our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with more wedding festivities. From dinner to dancing and a cake cutting ceremony, this was a truly memorable Maui Destination Wedding. We love all these candid shots from Misty and Aaron’s reception because they perfectly capture the love and joy that was in the air at Gannon’s. The evening ended with the most magical sunset shining down on our happy couple! Talk about a perfect ending to an already perfect day! We are so glad this couple chose us to help plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams! They were so sweet and such a pleasure to work with! Kaitlyn and Colton decided to have a destination wedding so they could really soak in the moment of their special day with loved ones. They gave extra special attention to everyone who made the trip out to Hawaii and made sure everyone was included in their wedding photos.
The love they shared with family and friends at their Maui Venue Wedding was pouring out at all times! Our gorgeous bride had a blast sharing the spotlight with her bridesmaids who wore beautiful sparkling rose gold dresses. This bride and groom decided they wanted to share a first look moment prior to their Maui Venue Wedding officially starting. We absolutely adore the look of excitement on Esteban’s face when he turned around and saw Alexandria in her wedding dress! And how could he not look excited? She was absolutely stunning from head to toe!
When it finally came time for their Maui Venue Wedding to begin, everyone stood and turned to watch as our bride’s father escorted her down the aisle. What a beautiful moment, and we’re sure it’s one none of them will ever forget! And if that wasn’t enough to make this the most memorable day ever, our newlyweds also had the most amazing sunset during their portrait session. I mean just take a look at that gorgeous golden glow! We were honored to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Especially since Sarah and Justin are no stranger to the wedding industry. Our groom is a DJ and owns his own sound studio, how cool is that? In fact, moments before their ceremony started, Justin and their ukulele player, Jimi, were singing together to a few tunes! Sarah is a makeup artist and works on brides all the time. So she understood how stressful a wedding day could be. But she left her worries to us and was all smiles the whole day. She loved every part of her wedding day!
To make their Maui Destination Wedding even more special were all the little details they included as thoughtful touches! We especially love the bracelets they added to their wedding attire. These bracelets were a gift from friends who couldn’t make it to their wedding and the coordinates reflect the exact spot they got married! Another gift was Sarah’s blue bracelet, which was from Justin’s sister (and was the perfect “something blue”). We love that this couple will always have these mementos to remember such a special day! We were thrilled when despite the rain this couple decided to still get married outside for their Maui Destination Wedding. They didn’t come all the way to Maui for an indoor wedding and didn’t mind getting married in the rain one bit! And neither did their wedding guests, in fact, they all cheered when we told them that the ceremony would be outside!
After a sweet ceremony and some fun shots with their guests, we moved inside where they danced the night away! And what an incredible dance party it was. The excitement in the air was so strong it was almost tangible! One thing’s for sure, this is a Maui Destination Wedding we won’t ever forget and we’re sure neither will our happy couple or anyone in attendance! A Maui Destination Wedding was the perfect decision for this couple! Lauren’s family has a timeshare in Kaanapali so they come here often. They’ve been coming to Maui for 15 years! So it truly is a home away from home and such a meaningful place to start the rest of their lives together!
Even though they’ve been together for 5 years, we know the love that awaits them as a married couple will only strengthen the bond they share! It was especially touching to witness as the father of the bride’s best friend performed the marriage. He has known Lauren her whole life and gave a very personal and touching ceremony! This truly was a Maui Destination Wedding to remember. It’s our hope that these newlyweds will carry the magic of this day into their relationship for the rest of their lives! We can’t think of a better start to our day than a Maui Venue Wedding at Gannon’s! This location is a favorite because of the beautiful scenery and view. I mean just look at it! Now that’s what we call a paradise setting. We’ll never get tired of how gorgeous Maui is, it’s obvious why so many couples want to get married here and we feel so lucky to be part of their wedding day!
One of the best parts of this Maui Venue Wedding was when our bride and groom shared their first dance as husband and wife immediately following their ceremony. As they danced to “All of Me” by John Legend, it was easy to see that they make each other incredibly happy! We have every confidence they will have the most wonderful life together. Dakota and Josh’s Maui Venue Wedding was full of the most beautiful details! From custom florals to meaningful touches, this ceremony had it all. Josh loved the fact that his late mother’s favorite flower was incorporated throughout their wedding day. Her favorite flower was the bird of paradise and we love the way, Dellables, made it a thoughtful focal point in the flower arrangements.

What we love most about their relationship is the way they got together. They met at work and it’s such a funny story! The days leading up to Thary and Benjamin’s Maui Venue Wedding were stormy with rain, but these two lucked out with a beautiful sunny warm day! When the ceremony started, our coordinator Jen walked their son Theo to the bride for the entrance. When Theo saw his mom he was in awe staring at her for a few seconds, probably because she was gorgeous! Dressed in a beautiful wedding gown and with hair and make-up by Salon 253, Thary was absolutely stunning.
This couple gathered with friends and family, even a few all the way from Asia, for their Maui Venue Wedding. They were so loved! When we asked how they met, they told us it was through a series of friends 🙂 . While it was a bit complicated, they eventually found each other and we are so glad! After their beautiful outdoor ceremony, our newlyweds headed down to Southside Beach for wedding portraits with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography. The colors in the sky matched Thary’s Anuenue Bouquet perfectly, we seriously can’t get over how perfect these two look in front of the vibrant sunset. Just see for yourself! We love everything about this Maui Venue Wedding! These two traveled the globe to find each other and we are so glad they did! Amy is from Canada and Aaron’s from Australia. They met in London while they were both traveling alone. When we asked why they chose Maui to get married, they had two reasons. First, they hadn’t been here before. And second, it’s a half way point between Canada and Australia where both families could meet 🙂 .
It was especially darling to see their cute 2 year old, Arlon, participate in their Maui Venue Wedding. He seriously was so cute and funny! After the ceremony he celebrated by tossing flower petals and running around the lawn with his aunts and uncles. We can’t get over these sweet photos of our bride and groom with their little one, our sister company Karma Hill Photography captured their love for each other perfectly!
