We had the best time being part of Elly and Sam’s Gannon’s Wedding. Not only is this an amazing location, but these two are an amazing couple! Elly and Sam have been together for 7 years, and are actually high school sweethearts. How sweet is that?!
The Perfect Wedding Song
But their story just gets better, wait ’til you hear the reason they picked their wedding song. Sam asked Elly to senior prom in High School by singing “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. So we love that they brought it full circle by having it play at their Gannon’s Wedding! Personal touches like this are what make a wedding day so special and we love being part of making it all happen.

We love that this bride and groom chose to get married at a Maui Destination Wedding. And are so glad we got to be part of it! With Stephanie’s family mostly in China and Jonathan’s family from the East coast, they figured Maui was the halfway point between the two locations. Making it the perfect place to have their ceremony! And as you can see their wedding really was perfect 🙂 .
With just the right amount of cloud coverage, the lighting couldn’t have been more amazing. They even had the most incredible sunset down at the beach during their wedding portraits! After taking photos with our sister company, these newlyweds returned to Gannon’s to have their reception at the Upper Pond. Talk about convenient! We love how this couple’s special day came together and wish them all the best on the journey ahead!

Emilie and Buck visited our office last year to start planning their Maui Destination Wedding, so we were eager for August 3, 2019 to arrive! From the moment we first met them we fell in love with their sweet personalities and relationship. They really are the most fantastic couple and we are so glad we got to be part of their special day!
Their love was so heartwarming that everyone felt it. They were extremely comfortable and even danced together during the ceremony! We also caught them mouthing little “I love yous” all throughout, which was so cute.
Commemorating the Father of the Bride
To make things even sweeter, Buck, his best man, and Emilie’s brother each wore one of her late dad’s watches. The mention on her dad made her tear during the ceremony and although he couldn’t be there in person, he was also commemorated through framed pictures which were so touching!
They truly had a beautiful Maui Destination Wedding, with the perfect bubble exit and loved ones all around to celebrate with them. Being part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding was so amazing! Not only were they super sweet, but we just love their style. Miranda looked absolutely incredible in a wedding dress from Willowby by Watters & Watters! This is one of our all time favorite dresses we have ever seen, every detail was so sweet and just perfect for an outdoor wedding in Hawaii. The colors and floral accents matched her bouquet and venue perfectly!
And Kevin didn’t look half bad either, his custom suit is from Perfectly Suited by Garth, a shop in their hometown. We love supporting local business here on Maui and love when our couples also represent and include aspects from businesses local to them! Having been to the island before, our bride knew a Maui Destination Wedding was exactly what she wanted and having never been here before our groom was down to experience and celebrate with someplace new 🙂 . It’s safe to say they’ll be back again, hopefully for future anniversaries and maybe even a vow renewal one day!
After getting married here, these newlyweds were excited to honeymoon on Kauai AND Oahu before returning to Utah to continue their beautiful life together as husband and wife. This Maui Venue Wedding was full of so much love and excitement! And it all started with a first look moment with our bride and groom. Jeremy’s face as soon as he saw Marissa said it all! Getting to be part of this bride and groom’s Maui Venue Wedding was so much fun! Not only because these two were a blast, but because we love their story. They met because Timothy was friends with Alexey’s older brother. She had a crush on him and now they just got married in paradise! We love it!
From the moment Timothy saw his bride walking down the grassy lawn at Gannon’s he couldn’t stop smiling all evening long. And it’s easy to see why! Alexey looked absolutely stunning in a wedding dress by Sottero and Midgley. And with hair and make-up done by the talented team at MeiLi Autumn Beauty, her bridal glow was in full force! We especially love that she chose to add flowers to her hairstyle for an extra festive touch. All in all every detail of this destination wedding was a dream come true! This bride and groom were so fun to work with for their Maui Venue Wedding! They were really excited to get married and just have a good relaxing time. Which we love! It was easy to see by the expressions on their faces during the ceremony that they make each other incredibly happy. And we especially love how ecstatic their wedding guests were as they celebrated these two being pronounced husband and wife!
Prior to their reception starting our sister company snuck off with these recently newlyweds to take the most gorgeous wedding portraits! They even made their way down to the beach for a few shots before returning to cut their cake and toast with loved ones. One thing’s for sure, this truly was a Maui Venue Wedding to remember! Even though Alyssa and Alex were married at a courthouse wedding, now that they’ve graduated school they celebrated with an awesome Maui Venue Wedding! This couple was joined by the most loving and kind family. Who were all so excited to be part of their special day. Plus Gannon’s is such an amazing venue that it was truly perfect for their group!
We honestly have so many favorite moments from this Maui Venue Wedding! It was especially touching to witness all the tender moments exchanged between this bride and groom and their wedding guests. Suzanne and Tom are an amazing couple and we are so happy to have been part of their special Maui Venue Wedding! They truly had Southern charm and kindness to say the least. And after getting engaged 6 years ago at Duke Gardens, in North Carolina where they are from, these two were more than ready to get married! We especially love how they were able to include our bride’s daughter, Noel. Even though Tom isn’t Noel’s biological father he’s been in her life since she was 9 months old. So this was truly a meaningful occasion for them all!
Interesting enough our groom was actually born on Oahu and moved off island when he was four. He said coming here for their Maui Venue Wedding felt a little like a homecoming and sweet remembrance of his childhood. Their vows were straight from the deepest part of their soul and their love overfilled to each other and everyone around them! Tears were shed, hearts were full and joy was ecstatic for these two. Suzanne was just the happiness and most beautiful bride with a positive energy that was contagious and glowing for all of their loved ones to see!
To add to her radiance, she wore a turquoise bracelet from her grandmother who passed away March 10th, 2019. She even incorporated this same color in the rest of her wedding decor for a thoughtful final touch. Amelia and Jered were so so fun and chill as they enjoyed every moment of their Maui Venue Wedding! Which is exactly how a bride and groom should be. It’s our goal when helping a couple plan their wedding day to take all the stress out of occasion by having everything run smooth and seamless! Which is just how it went for this bride and groom’s special day.
From the moment the ceremony began with their wedding party making their entrance to the sound of harp music, we knew this would be a Maui Venue Wedding to remember! And Amelia could not have looked more stunning as she made her way down the grassy hillside at Gannon’s. In an elegant wedding dress with a tasteful slit down the front, no one could take their eyes off of her! Especially her groom 🙂 . It’s obvious Jered considers himself the luckiest man in the world to be marrying Amelia! To prove it, he even let her talk him into getting into the water during their wedding portraits at the beach. And he was so glad he did, because neither of them could stop laughing as they played together as the sun went down! What a perfect ending to an already perfect day.
