These two could not have been more excited to be getting married at their Maui Venue Wedding! And we were so excited to be part of it. Justin couldn’t stop smiling as his bride made her way down the aisle and we just adore this couple together!
Their sweet story makes them even more amazing. Lauren and Justin are high school sweethearts! And when we asked if they remembered how he first asked her out, they both giggled in response. Justin then asked Lauren, “Did I even ask you or did I just tell you that you were my girlfriend?!” LOL. One thing’s for sure, they make a perfect pair and we have no doubt they will have the most wonderful life together as husband and wife! This bride and groom were so fun to work with for their Maui Venue Wedding! They were really excited to get married and just have a good relaxing time. Which we love! It was easy to see by the expressions on their faces during the ceremony that they make each other incredibly happy. And we especially love how ecstatic their wedding guests were as they celebrated these two being pronounced husband and wife!
Prior to their reception starting our sister company snuck off with these recently newlyweds to take the most gorgeous wedding portraits! They even made their way down to the beach for a few shots before returning to cut their cake and toast with loved ones. One thing’s for sure, this truly was a Maui Venue Wedding to remember! Even though Alyssa and Alex were married at a courthouse wedding, now that they’ve graduated school they celebrated with an awesome Maui Venue Wedding! This couple was joined by the most loving and kind family. Who were all so excited to be part of their special day. Plus Gannon’s is such an amazing venue that it was truly perfect for their group!
We honestly have so many favorite moments from this Maui Venue Wedding! It was especially touching to witness all the tender moments exchanged between this bride and groom and their wedding guests. And can we just say what an absolutely gorgeous sunset Alyssa and Alex had for their wedding portraits!? They were truly blessed to have such a spectacular show to end this already incredible day. Suzanne and Tom are an amazing couple and we are so happy to have been part of their special Maui Venue Wedding! They truly had Southern charm and kindness to say the least. And after getting engaged 6 years ago at Duke Gardens, in North Carolina where they are from, these two were more than ready to get married! We especially love how they were able to include our bride’s daughter, Noel. Even though Tom isn’t Noel’s biological father he’s been in her life since she was 9 months old. So this was truly a meaningful occasion for them all!
Interesting enough our groom was actually born on Oahu and moved off island when he was four. He said coming here for their Maui Venue Wedding felt a little like a homecoming and sweet remembrance of his childhood. Their vows were straight from the deepest part of their soul and their love overfilled to each other and everyone around them! Tears were shed, hearts were full and joy was ecstatic for these two. Suzanne was just the happiness and most beautiful bride with a positive energy that was contagious and glowing for all of their loved ones to see!
To add to her radiance, she wore a turquoise bracelet from her grandmother who passed away March 10th, 2019. She even incorporated this same color in the rest of her wedding decor for a thoughtful final touch. We were honored to be part of Kimberly and Marlon’s Maui Destination Wedding! These two could not have been sweeter or more in love. And were an absolute blast to work with! One of our favorite parts of helping plan a couple’s wedding day is hearing the story of how they met. What started out as friends for Kimberly and Marlon eventually led them to where they are today! They went to the same high school, graduated with different sweethearts and reconnected after college. With a solid foundation of friendship set, we have no doubt these two will have a long and happy life together!
The moment our bride made her entrance at Gannon’s her groom started tearing up, and she followed suit soon after! They exchanged the sweetest vows, that had everyone tearing up throughout the entire ceremony. No worries tough, there definitely wasn’t any ugly crying 😉 . How could there be when they’re all so gorgeous!? One thing’s for sure, this was a Maui Destination Wedding to remember. Surrounded by loved ones, including Aaron’s two sons Jack and Max, this bride and groom were so excited to say, “I do” at their Maui Destination Wedding. And after meeting 5 years ago this couple was more than ready to get married! We especially love how Misty wrote her own vows to Aaron’s sons. It was a truly touching moment and one we know none of them will ever forget!
After their ceremony, and taking a few gorgeous portraits with our sister company our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with more wedding festivities. From dinner to dancing and a cake cutting ceremony, this was a truly memorable Maui Destination Wedding. We love all these candid shots from Misty and Aaron’s reception because they perfectly capture the love and joy that was in the air at Gannon’s. The evening ended with the most magical sunset shining down on our happy couple! Talk about a perfect ending to an already perfect day! Julia and Vincent chose to have their Maui Venue Wedding at a separate location at one of our most popular wedding venues. Gannon’s Molokini Lookout set higher up on a big grassy lawn. Due to a delay in some of their wedding guests, this couple decided to take wedding portraits prior to their ceremony beginning. It was so sweet to see them interact together during these quiet moments!
One reason we love the option of a Maui Venue Wedding is that it gives you more flexibility with your guest list. Due to Hawaii regulations, you can only have 30 wedding guests at the beach, but Gannon’s Molokini Lookout is a large enough setting for a big wedding party. So after taking group photos here, they all headed down to Gannon’s reception area to continue the celebration! Thank you, Julia and Vincent, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding! We were thrilled when Lori and Jonathon decided to have their Maui Destination Wedding at The Steeple House. This location is one of our favorites! And how could it not be? From the intimate bridal suite for getting ready, to the outdoor setting and beautiful indoor option it’s the wedding venue dreams are made of. We especially love that this couple decided to have their ceremony outside with their reception inside. Talk about a perfect set up!
Prior to their Maui Destination Wedding Lori and Jonathon were both a little nervous so having a first look was a really sweet moment for them. We love that they were able to share this time alone just before their ceremony. And we’re confident it’s an experience neither of them will ever forget! After saying, “I do” surrounded by loved ones our newlyweds were ready to head down to the beach for portraits with our sister company. Not just any beach though, this couple enjoyed a nice walk at one of our most popular beach locations, Ironwoods. So as you can see from beginning to end, this truly was a day to remember. We are so glad this couple chose us to help plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams! They were so sweet and such a pleasure to work with! Kaitlyn and Colton decided to have a destination wedding so they could really soak in the moment of their special day with loved ones. This bride and groom decided they wanted to share a first look moment prior to their Maui Venue Wedding officially starting. We absolutely adore the look of excitement on Esteban’s face when he turned around and saw Alexandria in her wedding dress! And how could he not look excited? She was absolutely stunning from head to toe!
When it finally came time for their Maui Venue Wedding to begin, everyone stood and turned to watch as our bride’s father escorted her down the aisle. What a beautiful moment, and we’re sure it’s one none of them will ever forget! And if that wasn’t enough to make this the most memorable day ever, our newlyweds also had the most amazing sunset during their portrait session. I mean just take a look at that gorgeous golden glow! We were honored to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Especially since Sarah and Justin are no stranger to the wedding industry. Our groom is a DJ and owns his own sound studio, how cool is that? In fact, moments before their ceremony started, Justin and their ukulele player, Jimi, were singing together to a few tunes! Sarah is a makeup artist and works on brides all the time. So she understood how stressful a wedding day could be. But she left her worries to us and was all smiles the whole day. She loved every part of her wedding day!
To make their Maui Destination Wedding even more special were all the little details they included as thoughtful touches! We especially love the bracelets they added to their wedding attire. These bracelets were a gift from friends who couldn’t make it to their wedding and the coordinates reflect the exact spot they got married! Another gift was Sarah’s blue bracelet, which was from Justin’s sister (and was the perfect “something blue”). We love that this couple will always have these mementos to remember such a special day!
