Growing up Rhea’s family came to Hawaii every year, and this couple chose to have a Venue Wedding in Maui because it is her favorite island! During the planning process, Rhea and Shane described their wedding as “simple, fun with good music, family and friends.” We love that they wanted to create an evening that would not only be beautiful but would also be enjoyable for them and their wedding guests. It was all about having a good time! And we’re confident this is an evening none of them will ever forget!
Our bride and groom met in middle school and were actually high school sweethearts! And our personal favorite part of the evening was getting to hear their vows. They both mentioned they’ve been through so much together throughout the years and they’ve always stood by each other’s side!
Wedding Vows
Shane went first to recite his vows and had several pages worth of vows written in a yellow-cover notebook. One thing he said that made everyone cry was, “Rhea, you don’t know this, but the day before I asked you out for the first time in middle school, I couldn’t sleep. I was so nervous because not only did I want you to be my girlfriend, but I knew in my heart that I already wanted to marry you.” Cue all the tears!
But don’t worry, there was lots of laughter too! In fact, after the ceremony, our newlyweds were ready to head to the beach for wedding portraits and our sister company told us they all couldn’t stop laughing! They even took boomerangs and slomo videos so they could have something to remember the night before getting their wedding photos. And here they are, and we are absolutely obsessed!

Destiney and Tristan were so sweet at their Four Seasons Maui Wedding. Which makes sense since they are actually high school sweethearts! They started dating their sophomore year, and have now been together for 7 years and engaged for 2. They were so comfortable with each other and cracking jokes throughout their vows and even after the ceremony!
Before the wedding started, the father of the bride said it seems like it was just yesterday she was a baby heading home from the hospital and now his baby is getting married. Destiney’s dad also had a really cute moment with the groom off to the side just before the ceremony. So as you can see, this really was the most special day and we feel so honored to have been part of it!

This couple decided to have a Maui Venue Wedding because Angela always wanted to get married here and Brad had never been, so why not?! It was so special to see this bride and groom surrounded by their loved ones. And we thought it was especially sweet that they were able to include their daughter Emily at their ceremony! Isn’t she darling?
First Dance
After saying “I do” in front of family and friends, our newlyweds shared their first dance as husband and wife! And we absolutely love the song they picked, “At Last”. It couldn’t have been more fitting! Angela and Brad met a couple of years ago thru Instagram (oh the wonders of Social Media) and we are so excited for them to start this next chapter of their lives together!

The Steeple House was the perfect location for Tori and Jon’s Maui Venue Wedding! If you didn’t know already, it’s one of our favorite spots. And for good reason! With classic touches, this wedding venue is sure to create a memorable experience for a couple getting married and for their loved ones attending.
Getting Ready Details
Tori was so excited to get ready in the private bridal suite and then surprise her dad with a first look! She got ready with details such as her grandmother’s handkerchief and coin. Her mother even gifted her a new handkerchief with Tori and Jon’s wedding date!
So with something “old” and something “new” covered our bride was ready to walk down the aisle. But not before having a special moment with her father. It was such a tender experience that everyone in the room almost cried!
Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was especially cool with a soft breeze and overcast skies. It wasn’t too windy, it was perfect! And as we watched this couple exchange vows we couldn’t help but feel grateful to be part of their Maui Venue Wedding. Tori and Jon went to elementary, junior high and high school together but didn’t start dating until after college. With a long history like theirs, we have no doubt these two will have the most wonderful life together as husband and wife!

We’re so glad this couple decided to have their wedding at Maui’s Dragon Fruit Farm! This is one of our favorite spots and it’s easy to see why. I mean just check out that amazing scenery and those epic views! When you dream of getting married in paradise, does the setting look something like this?
If so, this is definitely the venue for you! You can even set up a tour of the farm for your guests after the ceremony while you and your sweetheart take wedding portraits. Such a great idea!
Why Jennifer and Andrew Chose Maui
When we asked Jennifer and Andrew why they decided to get married in Maui, our groom immediately responded saying “It’s always been Jen’s dream!”. How sweet is it that he wanted to be sure to make her dream a reality? And we are thrilled we could be part of the planning process!
One of our favorite parts of working with these two was getting to know the story of how they first met! One of the best parts of being in the business of love is getting to hear all the love stories our couples share with us 🙂 . And this one is so cute! It all started through mutual friends getting together to play recreational volleyball. Andrew wasn’t very committed to volleyball and only went to a few games, just so he could ask Jen out! They’ve now been together for 4 years, and we are so excited for their future as husband and wife.

We had the best time being part of Elly and Sam’s Gannon’s Wedding. Not only is this an amazing location, but these two are an amazing couple! Elly and Sam have been together for 7 years, and are actually high school sweethearts. How sweet is that?!
The Perfect Wedding Song
But their story just gets better, wait ’til you hear the reason they picked their wedding song. Sam asked Elly to senior prom in High School by singing “Marry You” by Bruno Mars. So we love that they brought it full circle by having it play at their Gannon’s Wedding! Personal touches like this are what make a wedding day so special and we love being part of making it all happen.

We love that this bride and groom chose to get married at a Maui Destination Wedding. And are so glad we got to be part of it! With Stephanie’s family mostly in China and Jonathan’s family from the East coast, they figured Maui was the halfway point between the two locations. Making it the perfect place to have their ceremony! And as you can see their wedding really was perfect 🙂 .
With just the right amount of cloud coverage, the lighting couldn’t have been more amazing. They even had the most incredible sunset down at the beach during their wedding portraits! After taking photos with our sister company, these newlyweds returned to Gannon’s to have their reception at the Upper Pond. Talk about convenient! We love how this couple’s special day came together and wish them all the best on the journey ahead!

This couple chose to get married here because they love the ocean and wanted a ceremony by the beach. So a 5 Palms Maui Wedding was perfect! This setting could not be more amazing since it is literally nestled right up to the sand and overlooks the most amazing blue water. Saying, “I do” here would literally be something out of a dream!
When planning their wedding Karina and Jeremy described it as simple, relaxed, tropical, fun and special. And it definitely was all of those things! These two were seriously so relaxed and so excited to be getting married. Plus their wedding guests were just all so happy to be in Maui to celebrate with them!
Karina and Jeremy have been together ever since meeting at a hop festival and hitting it off while dancing. So how could they not have dancing at their 5 Palms Maui Wedding? We love that our newlyweds not only shared their first dance as husband and wife on the grassy lawn, but that they also invited a hula dancer to join them. What a great way to make a Maui Venue Wedding even more festive, and their guests all loved it!

Emilie and Buck visited our office last year to start planning their Maui Destination Wedding, so we were eager for August 3, 2019 to arrive! From the moment we first met them we fell in love with their sweet personalities and relationship. They really are the most fantastic couple and we are so glad we got to be part of their special day!
Their love was so heartwarming that everyone felt it. They were extremely comfortable and even danced together during the ceremony! We also caught them mouthing little “I love yous” all throughout, which was so cute.
Commemorating the Father of the Bride
To make things even sweeter, Buck, his best man, and Emilie’s brother each wore one of her late dad’s watches. The mention on her dad made her tear during the ceremony and although he couldn’t be there in person, he was also commemorated through framed pictures which were so touching!
They truly had a beautiful Maui Destination Wedding, with the perfect bubble exit and loved ones all around to celebrate with them. Being part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding was so amazing! Not only were they super sweet, but we just love their style. Miranda looked absolutely incredible in a wedding dress from Willowby by Watters & Watters! This is one of our all time favorite dresses we have ever seen, every detail was so sweet and just perfect for an outdoor wedding in Hawaii. The colors and floral accents matched her bouquet and venue perfectly!
And Kevin didn’t look half bad either, his custom suit is from Perfectly Suited by Garth, a shop in their hometown. We love supporting local business here on Maui and love when our couples also represent and include aspects from businesses local to them! Having been to the island before, our bride knew a Maui Destination Wedding was exactly what she wanted and having never been here before our groom was down to experience and celebrate with someplace new 🙂 . It’s safe to say they’ll be back again, hopefully for future anniversaries and maybe even a vow renewal one day!
After getting married here, these newlyweds were excited to honeymoon on Kauai AND Oahu before returning to Utah to continue their beautiful life together as husband and wife. Getting to be part of this bride and groom’s Maui Venue Wedding was so much fun! Not only because these two were a blast, but because we love their story. They met because Timothy was friends with Alexey’s older brother. She had a crush on him and now they just got married in paradise! We love it!
From the moment Timothy saw his bride walking down the grassy lawn at Gannon’s he couldn’t stop smiling all evening long. And it’s easy to see why! Alexey looked absolutely stunning in a wedding dress by Sottero and Midgley. And with hair and make-up done by the talented team at MeiLi Autumn Beauty, her bridal glow was in full force! We especially love that she chose to add flowers to her hairstyle for an extra festive touch. All in all every detail of this destination wedding was a dream come true!
