Maui Venue Weddings

With the perfect amount of cloud coverage, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day for this Maui Destination Wedding. And although there was a bit of a scare of not having the groomsmen’s jackets properly shipped from Men’s Warehouse, they arrived just in time for the ceremony. Other than that, Ashley and Roman were very relaxed on their wedding day. Just as it should be 🙂 .

Our bride and groom could not have been happier to be getting married at their Maui Destination Wedding. The love between these two is so strong it was almost tangible! It’s easy to see just by looking at them that they are a perfect match. Plus they looked incredible in their wedding attire! Ashley rocked an elegant wedding dress by Kenneth Winston from Wedding Belles Boutique in Arizona. And Roman looked dashing in a three piece suit with a teal tie and pocket square to match his groomsmen. Not only did they all look amazing, but they also had an amazing time celebrating together! This bride and groom decided they wanted to share a first look moment prior to their Maui Venue Wedding officially starting. We were honored to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Especially since Sarah and Justin are no stranger to the wedding industry. Our groom is a DJ and owns his own sound studio, how cool is that? In fact, moments before their ceremony started, Justin and their ukulele player, Jimi, were singing together to a few tunes! Sarah is a makeup artist and works on brides all the time. So she understood how stressful a wedding day could be. But she left her worries to us and was all smiles the whole day. She loved every part of her wedding day!

To make their Maui Destination Wedding even more special were all the little details they included as thoughtful touches! We especially love the bracelets they added to their wedding attire. These bracelets were a gift from friends who couldn’t make it to their wedding and the coordinates reflect the exact spot they got married! Another gift was Sarah’s blue bracelet, which was from Justin’s sister (and was the perfect “something blue”). We love that this couple will always have these mementos to remember such a special day! Helping Shannon and Nicholas plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams was an absolute honor! They were both so sweet and a pleasure to work with. Plus we were thrilled when they chose to have their ceremony at one of our favorite wedding venues, the Steeple House. This location can’t be beaten, not only is it gorgeous outside but the set up inside is amazing! Just see for yourself!

Not only are we glad we got to be part of this couple’s wedding day, but we are so glad these two found each other! Even if it was in a roundabout way, because let’s be honest, those are always the best stories anyway 🙂 . Our groom is from Australia and our bride is from Michigan, but they ended up meeting in Florida! Nicholas was there working on a boat, and Shannon was visiting on vacation when their paths crossed. They dated long distance for a few years, prior to Shannon making the leap and moving to Australia! Talk about a love story that has traveled the world!

At the close of their Maui Venue Wedding, our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a celebratory dinner at The Plantation House Restaurant. Which is conveniently located just across the street from where they said, “I do”. We told you this location had it all! Prior to their Maui Venue Wedding, this bride and groom have been together since 8th grade! We love that their story has been going on for so long! It was especially fun to see and hear how their family has been involved in their relationship. Ashley’s dad even gave a toast about separating them at the school dance way back when they first met! And her mom is the one that suggested having the wedding in Maui, and we are so glad she did!

After their beautiful ceremony at Dragon Fruit Farm, our newlyweds were ready to head down to the beach for wedding portraits with our sister company. We love that even if a couple chooses to have a Maui Venue Wedding there are always beaches nearby for taking beautiful photos to capture the full beauty of the island. They originally were just coming for a family vacation and along the way decided to also make it a destination wedding, and we are so glad they did 🙂 . Maui is extra special to Tracy because it was her late grandmother’s, who was like her mother growing up, favorite place! So getting married here was a sentimental way for our bride to feel close to her grandmother.

After meeting at a work event (they are both commercial property managers in the Bay Area) 5 years ago, this couple was more than ready to say, “I do” at their Maui Venue Wedding. We were thrilled when despite the rain this couple decided to still get married outside for their Maui Destination Wedding. They didn’t come all the way to Maui for an indoor wedding and didn’t mind getting married in the rain one bit! And neither did their wedding guests, in fact, they all cheered when we told them that the ceremony would be outside!

After a sweet ceremony and some fun shots with their guests, we moved inside where they danced the night away! And what an incredible dance party it was. The excitement in the air was so strong it was almost tangible! We were honored to be part of this Maui Destination Wedding! Brianna and Robert were so in love and such a joy to work with. And even though they had a little crisis, it all turned out great and they both looked incredible! Which brings us to the story of what happened the morning of their wedding.

Robert had his suit mailed from Men’s Warehouse and instead of being shipped here to Maui, it was shipped to Spokane! So they quickly had to have it shipped here. On their wedding day, Robert’s suit was still in Honolulu! So he waited at the cargo port at the airport for the suit to come in at 2:00 pm that afternoon. Luckily he was able to pick it up from there and rush straight over to 5 palms. Talk about STRESS! Robert was almost about to buy some last minute Tommy Bahama shirts lol. That night was beautiful as the couple could finally relax and enjoy the rest of their day! And now they not only have a beautiful Maui Destination Wedding to remember but a funny story to tell as well 🙂 . Thank you, Brianna and Robert, for sharing this special day with Simple Maui Wedding. A Maui Destination Wedding was the perfect decision for this couple! Lauren’s family has a timeshare in Kaanapali so they come here often. They’ve been coming to Maui for 15 years! So it truly is a home away from home and such a meaningful place to start the rest of their lives together!

Even though they’ve been together for 5 years, we know the love that awaits them as a married couple will only strengthen the bond they share! It was especially touching to witness as the father of the bride’s best friend performed the marriage. He has known Lauren her whole life and gave a very personal and touching ceremony! Getting to plan Candice and Ken’s Maui Venue Wedding was amazing! This bride and groom were so sweet together and had the best time celebrating their love. We absolutely love the story of how they met. It all started 10 years ago when Candice was single and visiting a friend at a construction site Ken owned. Her friend asked Candice if she was interested in any of the construction workers around. Candice replied, “Not any of the workers, I’m more interested in the owner!” After that, they met up for pizza and immediately hit it off 🙂 . They now have two beautiful kids and a beautiful life together.

Now weddings with little kids can sometimes be tricky, but these two were up for the challenge and stayed “go with the flow”. They wanted to include their son and daughter in meaningful yet appropriate ways. Which we love! How cute is this photo of their little girl running down the aisle in front of them after the ceremony? She was absolutely darling in a white dress with a blue sash and bow to match her mother who wore a Pronovias wedding dress and blue shoes. It’s all about the details and this Maui Venue Wedding was full of thoughtful touches! We especially love that the couple brought a “Just Maui’d” sign made by Candice’s mother. What better way to celebrate getting married than flying to Hawaii for a Maui Venue Wedding?! We love that this was our bride and groom’s first time here. And we’re confident it won’t be the last! It was a really pretty day in Wailea and the 5 Palms lawn wasn’t too windy. But the love in the air was so strong it was almost tangible! Just as it should be. It was truly touching to watch these two stand up with friends and siblings, who acted as their bridal party, on either side as they professed their commitment to one another.

After their Maui Venue Wedding, our newlyweds enjoyed a cocktail reception on the ceremony lawn that continued after sunset! The 5 Palms offers a casual cocktail reception on their lawn with heavy appetizers or a more formal sit-down reception indoors. The outdoor option was perfect for this group and we could not have asked for a more beautiful night for it!
