Ready for a dreamy, romantic Maui elopement? Sometimes love sneaks into your life exactly when you least expect it. For John and Jenifer, that moment came in 2020 during the lockdowns. A simple Facebook connection (encouraged by a mutual friend) turned into conversations, then laughter, then something deeper. Dating wasn’t easy when the world had shut down, but as the months passed, it became clear: this was it. Neither had planned on marriage again, but after nearly five years together, they couldn’t imagine life apart.
Fast forward to September, and Maui set the stage for their “Mauied” moment. They had already planned a family trip with Jenifer’s three boys and their girlfriends, and with John’s blessing, they decided: why not turn this trip into a wedding? Intimate, simple, and unforgettable. Polo Beach offered the perfect backdrop, soft sand, dramatic waves, and that golden Maui light that makes everything feel more romantic! Keep reading to see more!

Their Maui elopement ceremony itself was brimming with meaning. Three of their sons stood proudly beside them, one in spirit, as they exchanged vows. The photos captured it all: John’s adoring glance at Jenifer, the way she glowed with joy, and their family gathered close. Our photography style is always about capturing emotion: the laughter mid-toast, the tenderness of a kiss on the forehead, the way their children looked at them with pride, and this day was filled with it in every frame.

After their vows, the celebration continued with hugs, toasts, a bit of cake, and a first dance on the sand. You could feel the significance in every moment: this wasn’t just a wedding, it was the blending of two lives and two families, stitched together by love and sealed in paradise. And what better setting to celebrate than right on the beach?!

Congratulations, John and Jenifer! Your Maui elopement was not only a celebration of your love story, but also a beautiful reminder that the best chapters often begin when you least expect them!

Mitzie and Jason’s Maui elopement wasn’t about pomp or grandeur, it was about family, joy, and the quiet kind of magic that comes when love grows slowly and meaningfully. Eunice and Wildy’s Maui elopement was the perfect blend of love, adventure, and heartfelt intimacy. As active-duty and veteran members of the U.S. Navy, these two share a bond built on trust, laughter, and shared passions, from hiking and snowboarding to Marvel marathons and enjoying time with their sweet pup, Layla.
Originally planning a large traditional Filipino wedding, Eunice’s overseas orders meant the couple needed a beautiful, intimate alternative. And that’s where our Simple Maui Wedding planning team comes in! Simple and elegant is what we do best. Picture a turquoise ocean gently lapping at golden sands, sunlight spilling like liquid gold, and the soft glow of the sky. It’s nature’s very own decor for a dreamy beach wedding!
Maui delivered exactly (as it always does!) what they were hoping for: intimate, simple, and relaxed. To make it even more special, this was their first time in Maui, too! So with just their closest family present, every moment of the day felt personal, meaningful, and wrapped in the golden Hawaiian light…

From the moment they arrived on the beach, the couple was radiant! The soft sand beneath their feet, the ocean waves as their soundtrack, and the gentle breeze in the air created the kind of setting that makes a Maui elopement truly unforgettable. Our photographer captured every candid laugh, tender glance, and joyous moment as Eunice and Wildy said “I do,” showing that even a small ceremony can be incredibly magical.
The day was a celebration of their journey, from meeting in Virginia as co-workers in 2017, bonding over Marvel movie marathons, to Wildy’s New Year’s Day proposal in Honolulu in 2025. It was a reminder that sometimes love doesn’t need grand gestures or big crowds; it thrives in meaningful, intentional moments shared with the people who matter most!

Their beach celebration was heartfelt and personal. After exchanging vows, the couple took in the breathtaking scenery for sunset-drenched portraits. Their closest family shared in the joy, watching the couple beaming on the soft sand. They celebrated with a small cake on the beach with their family, because why not?!

The soft sand, gentle waves, and pastel hues of the sky created a naturally romantic canvas. The golden hour light kissed everything it touched, bathing Eunice and Wildy in a soft, dreamy glow, perfect for their newlywed portraits.

From the story of how they met in Virginia in 2017, bonded over Marvel movies, to Wildy’s New Year’s Day proposal in Honolulu, every step of their journey was honored. Their Maui elopement was a reflection of their shared life, their love, and the pure joy of being together.
Congratulations, you two! It was a joy to be a part of your love story! We wish you nothing but the best for your future ahead!

Let’s set the scene: golden hour on Po’olenalena Beach, the waves rolling in soft and slow, and a breeze that somehow knew it was carrying something big. Douglas had a plan, a really beautiful one, for their Maui proposal. He led Lourdes down the beach, pretending they were just out for a casual sunset stroll.

A Maui elopement is always magical, but Danielle and Troy’s was especially meaningful. Their story is one of timing, friendship, and finding love when the world seemed to stand still. Though they’d crossed paths for years through mutual friends, it wasn’t until Covid that fate stepped in. Troy sent Danielle a Facebook friend request right after Thanksgiving 2020, and by that Sunday, they were on their first date. From then on, the rest was history!
In October 2024, Troy proposed to Danielle in Maui in front of Leilani’s, surrounded by her parents, sister, kids, and grandkids. It was intimate, heartfelt, and unforgettable. Returning to the island for their wedding only made sense; Maui had already become part of their love story! Keep reading to see more of their beautiful day!

Their Maui elopement at Maluaka Beach was everything they wanted: casual, relaxed, and full of joy. The waves shimmered in the golden light, the soft sand stretched around them, and the ceremony carried a peaceful intimacy that felt perfectly them. It wasn’t about the guest list or the details; it was about love, laughter, and promising forever with the ocean as their witness. The look on Troy’s face when he first saw his beautiful bride says it all…

And then came their portraits, stunning, golden, and filled with emotion. The newlywed photos along the shoreline and lava rocks radiated warmth, capturing both the epic beauty of Maui and the quiet tenderness between them. Every image felt like a reflection of their story: hard-working, family-centered, and deeply grateful for each other.

They didn’t need arches or elaborate décor, because truly, the beauty of nature and the love they share said it all. Maluaka Beach gave them a setting so stunning it felt designed just for them: golden sand, a vast sky, and the endless ocean as their witness.
And then there was the light! The sun dipped low and backlit them in a way that felt utterly enchanting, framing Danielle and Troy against the sky, surrounding them with a golden glow that seemed to hold the whole moment still. Their newlywed portraits reflected that magic, capturing not only the dramatic beauty of the island but also the quiet tenderness between them.
It was more than just a wedding; it was an affirmation of what matters most. Danielle and Troy didn’t need anything other than each other, their vows, and the island’s natural beauty to create a memory that will last forever.

Troy’s look was effortless, understated in a way that let his joy shine through without distraction. Relaxed yet polished, he embodied the casual romance of a beach wedding, every bit as grounded and steady as the shoreline itself.
Danielle’s dress was a masterpiece of quiet elegance, softly draped fabric that seemed to mirror the ripples of the ocean beside her. Each fold caught the light just right, moving gently with the breeze, echoing the waves rolling in. She didn’t just wear the dress; she carried it, embodying grace and strength.

Congratulations, Danielle and Troy! Your Maui elopement was simple, stunning, and full of the kind of love that doesn’t just light up a room, it lights up the entire horizon. We wish you nothing but love and joy for decades ahead!

There’s something deeply poetic about meeting someone in the middle of your story. If love were a language, Lori and Elizabeth speak it fluently in the way they look at each other, in the way they laugh, and in the way they chose to promise forever. Their Maui elopement wasn’t just a wedding; it was the moment two families became one, wrapped in the warmth of Hawaiian sunshine and ocean breeze.
From the very start, it was clear this day was going to be something special. Both brides made their entrances with their kids by their sides, a detail that somehow made the air feel even softer, sweeter, and more sacred. It wasn’t just about the two of them; it was about all of them, stepping into this new chapter together.
They looked absolutely stunning and radiant in every sense of the word. Their matching tropical bouquets added a touch of elegance, perfectly complementing the joy in their smiles. Standing side by side, they were the embodiment of everything we love about intimate weddings: authenticity, connection, and beauty that radiates from the inside out.

Their Maui elopement ceremony was lovely in the way that makes you pause and breathe it all in. The ocean behind them shimmered like a jewel. Their kids looked on with proud, happy faces, and the whole scene felt like the universe had conspired to make this moment perfect.
As their Maui elopement coordinator, we were honored to witness every glance, every laugh, every quiet, meaningful touch. Lori and Elizabeth, you looked incredible, you made it unforgettable, and you filled the day with so much love!

And then, after a delicious bite and some bubbles, came the sunset. At Polo Beach, the sky lit up in shades of gold, pink, and soft lavender, wrapping Lori and Elizabeth in a glow that felt almost otherworldly. We stole a few quiet moments for just the two of them, letting the waves and the fading light be the backdrop for portraits that felt timeless. They laughed, they held hands, and they looked at each other like they knew this is forever.

Congratulations to you both! Your day was unforgettable, your love was inspiring, and your portraits were pure magic! We wish you nothing but the best!

Let’s start with the obvious: Leila and Asa are ridiculously in love. Like, heart-eyes-across-the-room, finishing-each-other’s-sentences, “we do devotionals together and also crush Netflix” in love. Eloping in Maui is kind of like nature celebrating right along with you. And Akasha and Enis’ Maui elopement was just that, barefoot in the sand, surrounded by nothing but ocean breeze, golden light, and the people who matter most.
Their elopement at Po’olenalena Beach was a quiet kind of breathtaking. No stress, no dramatic timelines, just joy, nature, and love in its purest form. Honestly? That’s the magic of Hawaii. You don’t need elaborate décor or Pinterest-perfect arches. Maui is the decoration: towering palms, rolling waves, lava rocks that feel like ancient blessings. And that sunset? Literal proof that the universe ships your love story. Keep reading to see more of our beautiful couple’s day!

Akasha looked stunning, like she’d walked straight out of a bridal dream. Her dress flowed like sea foam and caught the wind just right, while her floral crown (because of course) was the perfect tropical exclamation point. Enis looked equally sharp, but it was the way he looked at her that did us in. You know the look. That “how did I get so lucky?” kind of look.
Their ceremony was filled with warmth and connection, barefoot joy, and a sweet nod to tradition. We loved seeing their guests gathered in aloha prints and smiles, soaking in the moment like sunlight.

After their sweet and heartfelt ceremony, Akasha and Enis stepped away for just a little while, just the two of them, the golden Maui light, and our camera trying to keep up with the ridiculous level of newlywed glow they were radiating.
They walked hand-in-hand down the shoreline at Po’olenalena Beach, waves curling playfully at their feet, with the sun casting that warm, cinematic light Maui does so well. You could tell they were fully in the moment, laughing, whispering, stealing kisses like they forgot the camera was even there (which, honestly, is the best kind of newlywed portrait session). Now these two officially can say they are “Just Maui’d!”

As the sun dipped lower, painting the sky in soft oranges and cotton candy pinks, we wrapped up the session knowing we had captured something really special. With Akasha with her vibrant flowers and Enis in his sharp tux, these two were a sight to behold on the beach!
Newlywed portraits in Maui? Yeah, they hit different. And Akasha and Enis? They made it unforgettable. Aren’t they just a gorgeous couple?

To Akasha and Enis: mahalo for showing us that love doesn’t need a stage, it just needs two hearts, a little courage, and a beach that feels like home. Maui was lucky to witness your “I do.” So were we! Congratulations!

Some love stories are sweet and slow and simmer over time, like Makayla and Hunter’s. These two met through mutual friends over five years ago, officially became a couple a few months later, and have basically been each other’s favorite adventure buddies ever since…which leads us to their Maui elopement!
After a magical Disneyland proposal (yes, in front of the castle, cue the collective swoon), wedding plans were gently postponed when Makayla started nursing school. Because sometimes life says, “Let’s take care of business first,” and these two? They handled it with so much grace.
Fast forward almost two years, and finally, the beach wedding they dreamed of came to life. Their Maui elopement at Maluaka Beach was everything they had hoped for: simple, stress-free, and incredibly beautiful. The golden sun danced on the water, the breeze was soft, and these two looked at each other like they still couldn’t believe it was real. (It was.)

Makayla glowed in her white dress, soft waves in her hair, and the kind of smile that says “this is the beginning of forever.” Hunter couldn’t stop beaming at her, equal parts awe, joy, and “I can’t believe she’s mine.” Together, they were the kind of couple that made everyone around them believe in love a little harder.
They stood by the water’s edge, just the two of them and the sound of gentle waves rolling in, and made their promises. Simple. Beautiful. Honest.
Their session was filled with color, movement, and so much warmth, the kind of photos that don’t just show what the day looked like, but exactly how it felt. And while their two adorable miniature dachshunds, Willy and Tilly, stayed back home, we’re pretty sure they were sending all the tail wags from afar!

After their sweet, simple ceremony, we had the joy of capturing their newlywed portraits, and ohhh, they were pure magic. With the Maui coastline behind them, golden light wrapping around them like a warm hug, and that just-married energy lighting them up from the inside, every photo felt like a little slice of forever.
They laughed, they twirled, they held each other close like there was no one else in the world. The breeze tugged at Makayla’s dress just enough to make it look cinematic (thank you, island winds), and their love for each other came through in every single frame!

Makayla and Hunter, you two are lovely. Radiant. Full of joy. And so clearly meant for each other. Thank you for letting us capture such a heartfelt, sunlit beginning to your next chapter.
Hawaii suits you beautifully!

If you’re wondering what it looks like when love, laughter, and lava rocks collide in the dreamiest possible way, meet John and Charity. These two are the definition of soulmates-who-love-sand-between-their-toes. They said “I do” at their Maui elopement, and honestly? It was elegant, heartfelt, and beachy in the best kind of way.
John is an electrician (with a bear hug that could probably power a small town), and Charity works for the state of California (we’re talking organized, radiant, and with the smile of a woman who knows she just made the best decision of her life). Together, they brought their beautifully blended family to paradise for an unforgettable elopement. And the kind of energy you can only get from a crew that loves dirt bikes, camping, soccer, and adventure. Keep reading to see more of their wonderful day!

Their ceremony was intimate and joyful, with waves crashing in the background and the golden Maui light glowing around them like nature’s own spotlight. Charity looked stunning in her lace gown, barefoot in the sand and glowing with happiness. John, in crisp linen and a maile lei, couldn’t take his eyes off her.

From their barefoot portraits on the lava rocks (hello, romance novel cover vibes!) to their big family moment full of laughs, kisses, and shakas, this wasn’t just a wedding, it was a celebration of us. Of building a life that feels like home, even when it’s on a beach thousands of miles from it. It was relaxed, it was fun, it was family orientated, it was so them. And that’s all dreamt of! Cue the hugs and cheers!

To John and Charity: may your life together be as epic and joy-filled as your Maui elopement. Mahalo for letting us capture your magic! May you keep dancing, loving, learning, and growing together with peace and happiness in your hearts! Enjoy your time on Maui with your family!

There’s something wildly romantic about saying “I do” with the wind in your hair, waves crashing nearby, and your bare feet sinking into warm Hawaiian sand. And Allison and Scott? They absolutely nailed it.
Their Maui elopement at Ironwoods Beach was more than just a ceremony; it was a moment suspended in time, carved out of crashing waves, rugged lava rocks, and golden afternoon light. With only their closest loved ones present (plus the most joyful officiant on Earth), it felt private, meaningful, and profoundly intimate. Just the way it should be.

Let’s talk about Allison’s dress. Floaty, dreamy, and the perfect shade of ocean mist blue, yes, she looked like she stepped out of a beachside romance novel. And Scott? He met her elegance with classic charm, looking dapper and completely smitten. Their laughter, their vows, their forehead touches (we melted) every photo we captured speaks volumes about their bond. No caption needed.

This is why people elope to Maui: it strips away the fluff and leaves behind only what truly matters. Love. Connection. Breath-stealing beauty. No stress, no guest list drama, just a vow exchange that feels as wild and free as the ocean itself.
Their ceremony was full of emotion, but also full of joy. You can see it in the way their family beamed, the way the waves applauded every kiss, and how the sun peeked through just in time to light up their big moment.

We led Allison and Scott up onto Ironwoods’ lava rock cliffs just as the sun began to dip low. The sky exploded in soft pastels, casting the most cinematic glow across the ocean. There they were, silhouetted against the horizon, wrapped in each other’s arms, standing tall on ancient volcanic stone like the leads of an epic love story. It was iconic. It was breathtaking. And it was so them.

To Allison and Scott: may your days be as sweet as this one, and your love as enduring as the lava rock you stood on. Mahalo for letting us witness your beautiful beginning and your once-in-a-lifetime sunset moment!

Mitzie and Jason’s Maui elopement wasn’t about pomp or grandeur, it was about family, joy, and the quiet kind of magic that comes when love grows slowly and meaningfully.
They met because of their daughters. Keiko and Gemma, both spirited 7-year-olds, were best friends in preschool, the kind of best friends who clearly know more than you do and will tell you so. Mitzie, then pregnant with her son Kian, met Jason during those preschool days, and a few months after Kian was born, she and Jason started dating.
Their love story is modern, real, and effortlessly romantic, like Jason proposing at a cozy restaurant, no grand speeches, just a ring pulled from his pocket and the kind of look that says, this is it. You’re it. Keep reading to see more of their beautiful celebration!

They centered their Maui ceremony around family, keeping it beautifully intimate. Keiko, Kian, and Gemma wore flower adornments and radiated joyful energy, making the celebration even more special. Mitzie’s family traveled from Japan, and Jason’s mom was there too. Maui, with all its soft skies and ocean breeze, was the perfect meeting point for both families.
Instead of a big wedding, they opted for something more meaningful: a celebration that was part love story, part family vacation, and entirely them.

After their heartfelt ceremony, they snuck away for sunset portraits. Mitzie radiant, Jason dapper, and the two of them lost in the kind of just-married joy that makes the world feel like it’s glowing.
This elopement was sweet, soulful, and beautifully relaxed, proof that when your love story is already extraordinary, the wedding doesn’t need to be over-the-top. It was a beautiful family-focused celebration that focused on what truly matters.

Congratulations, Mitzie and Jason! Here’s to your love, your family, and every beautiful chapter to come!

Maui elopements always have that certain something, maybe it’s the salty breeze, the golden light, or the way the waves roll in steadily. But Mackenzie and Devin’s elopement at Southside Beach? It felt like the island had been waiting just for them.
Let’s rewind for a second. Back in 2016, Mackenzie visited Maui with her family and fell head over heels for the island, not a guy. That part came a little later. Actually, only days before her trip, she met Devin at a party. Their first meeting was fleeting and didn’t involve trading numbers, but fate (being the relentless matchmaker she is) brought them together again six months later under a starlit sky at another party. That night? Instant connection. Cue the montage of them moving in together in 2020, adopting the world’s best senior cat, and navigating life hand-in-hand.
So when Devin proposed in 2022, surprising Mackenzie at home right before a trip she was sure would include a ring, it wasn’t just romantic, it was strategic. He wanted the entire vacation to be a celebration, not a countdown. And now, after a couple of postponed dates, the stars aligned for them to get married on their 8th dating anniversary!

Their Maui elopement was every bit the quiet, intimate moment they had dreamed of. Southside Beach, with its soft sands and painterly sunset skies, was the perfect backdrop. The ocean sparkled, and the light was so flattering. Mackenzie looked radiant, and Devin couldn’t take his eyes off her. It was private, beautiful, and oh-so-them.

The lighting at Southside Beach did that magical thing it does, turning soft and golden just as Mackenzie and Devin said, “I do.” It was like the sun had RSVP’d to their wedding and decided to show off a little. Every frame was filled with the quiet romance that defined their day, no grand gestures or staged moments, just real, unfiltered joy between two people who knew this was exactly where they were meant to be.

Congratulations to these two beautiful souls. Here’s to forever and maybe another cat or two! It was an honor to be a part of your special day!

There’s something seriously swoon-worthy about a love story that begins in college, weathers a decade of life together (including building a business and raising three very fluffy Huskies), and ends up with barefoot vows in a dreamy Maui elopement!
Cynthia and Nicholas did just that. And let us tell you, it was all kinds of perfect.
After ten years of partnership, laughter, hard work, and weekend hikes (not to mention wrangling their trio of Huskies), these two decided to celebrate their love with something simple, stunning, and totally stress-free. And what better way than eloping in Maui, where the ocean sparkles like sequins, the breeze always feels like it’s on your side, and love just kind of floats through the air? Keep reading, you won’t want to miss this one…

They chose Baldwin Beach for their big moment, imagine wide open sands, rolling turquoise waves, and that kind of golden light that makes everything glow. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to take your shoes off and never, ever put them back on.
Which is exactly what they did. Barefoot bliss, Hawaiian edition.
There was no crowd. No schedule. No fancy seating chart or five-tier cake. Just Cynthia and Nicholas, the sound of the waves, and ten years’ worth of love building up to this quiet, powerful moment. And honestly? That kind of intimacy is as romantic as it gets.

And when we say they looked happy, we mean that glowing, unbothered, completely-in-their-element kind of happy that can only come from knowing you’ve just made the best decision of your life. Twice, once in college, and once again here, on a beach in paradise.
Their love is rooted in years of shared dreams, hard work, and adventure. But that’s what made their elopement so beautiful. It wasn’t a beginning, it was a celebration of everything they’d already built together with sandy feet and a salty “I, do.” It was relaxed and so them in every way…

They laughed, they kissed, they walked hand-in-hand along the shoreline like the whole beach belonged to them, which, in that moment, it kind of did. Our photographer captured every second of it: the easy joy on their faces, the way Nicholas looked at Cynthia like she was the only thing in the world, the wind dancing through her hair as if Maui itself was celebrating with them. We love how effortless they look, so at ease with one another and soaking up the present moment…

Congratulations, Cynthia and Nicholas! Your Maui elopement was romantic, relaxed, and just so… you. We loved capturing the magic of your barefoot “I do,” and we can’t wait to see where your next decade of love (and dogs, and hiking, and bliss) takes you.

Here’s the thing about love stories: sometimes they start with a grand, cinematic moment—a whirlwind, a lightning strike, a meet-cute involving spilled coffee and a lot of blushing. And sometimes? Some couples plan a Maui elopement with spreadsheets, vision boards, and Pinterest rabbit holes. Danielle and Harry? They went with sunshine, simplicity, a flower circle, and a little slice of Hawaiian paradise. Honestly, we approve.
These two are both nurses (yes, real-life superheroes), and after long shifts and saving lives, they’ve earned the right to say “I do” with their toes in the sand and the ocean in the background. And that’s exactly what they did, on their very first trip to Hawaii, no less!
Their elopement took place at Polo Beach, a hidden gem on Maui’s sunny southwest shore that basically looks like it was pulled from a postcard. With golden sand, gentle waves, it was the perfect setting for their “just us” kind of day.

Danielle and Harry knew they didn’t want a big wedding. No color-coded seating charts or cake tastings for these two. What they wanted was simple, beautiful, and meaningful, and wow, did they nail it. With the Pacific Ocean stretching out behind them and the sky doing that cotton-candy sunset thing Hawaii does so well, they exchanged vows that were full of love, laughter, and just a few happy tears.
And though they didn’t have a guest list a mile long, they weren’t completely alone. Their sweet pup might not have been able to make the trip, but it’s safe to say they carried a piece of their fur baby with them in spirit. Their elopement was beautiful and just what they envisioned.

After their Maui elopement ceremony, Danielle and Harry soaked in the moment, barefoot and glowing with post-”I do” joy. They strolled along the shoreline, wrapped in each other and a breeze that couldn’t have been better if we’d ordered it ourselves. There were no distractions, just laughter, a lot of hand-holding, and that kind of contentment that comes from knowing you just married your favorite person in the world.

They ended the day exactly how you’d expect two nature-loving, travel-obsessed, dog-devoted, slightly-sandy newlyweds to: watching the sun dip below the horizon, side by side, already dreaming of what comes next. Maybe a hike, maybe a dog-filled reunion back home, but definitely together!

Congratulations, Danielle and Harry! Your Maui elopement was everything a wedding should be joyful, authentic, and beautifully you. Here’s to a lifetime of adventures, sunset strolls, and cuddles with your pup. And if every anniversary involves a little sand between your toes and a lot of love? Even better. Enjoy the rest of your time in Hawaii!

Sometimes they unfold quietly, steadily, like a tide rolling in, until one day, you look up and realize your person has been beside you all
