Elopement Getting Ready Photography

Even the smallest, sweetest weddings deserve great getting-ready photography. This is the chance for the bride to revel in her head-to-toe style and capture bridal portraits as unique and stunning as her. And Christie understood the assignment!

We’re so glad we got to capture these exciting final moments before she headed off to the beach to marry the love of her life.

While Christie was putting the final touches on her bridal style, Christopher was at the beach, anxiously awaiting her arrival. We love the moment when he first saw her at the ceremony. It was like all his nerves evaporated and he was left with only blissful love. We’re getting chill bumps looking at the Maui elopement photos because it was so sweet!

All The Light They Need

Ok, we definitely hoped for a bright sunny day for Christie & Christopher’s Maui elopement, but we’re actually super obsessed with the colors and lighting at the beach. The clouds settled over the calm water, filtering the light into dreamy hues of blues and green. It was peaceful and beautiful, just like Christie & Christopher’s love for each other.

Besides, they are so bright and full of life that they provided all the light we needed at the beach for their Maui elopement.

Maui Elopement at Poʻolenalena Beach

Christie & Christopher wed at Poʻolenalena Beach in South Maui. This large stretch of sand boasts views of Kahoʻolawe, Molokini, Pu’u Ola’i, and the West Maui Mountains. Plus, there are tall palm trees, vibrant green shrubbery, and dramatic lava rock formations. It’s a location that’s both playful and romantic, so it was the perfect spot for these love birds.

They shared a dance in the rain, and then the clouds held back long enough for us to get a majestic sunset picture that’s sure to get framed. It was such a fun Maui elopement from start to finish, and we are so happy we get to share these pictures with Christie & Christopher!

When we imagine a heartwarming, ethereal, and tropical ceremony — we think of Natalie and Robert’s Hawaii beach wedding! This sunset affair was absolutely breathtaking. Southside Beach created a romantic background for this event. Then, our charming pair only had two guests in attendance, making their occasion as intimate as possible! We set up for this ceremony on a secluded corner of the shoreline! Lush greenery, dramatic lava rocks, and lofty palm trees surrounded our stunning couple. Our gorgeous couple’s ceremony began with our groom arriving at the shoreline. Robert walked to the top of the seaside and took his spot beside the officiant, Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o. Then when she was ready, Natalie walked down the sand with her father by her side! We like our charming pair’s ceremony because it’s intimate. Natalie’s mom and dad were the only two people in attendance! Above all, our favorite thing about this sunset affair is how simply sweet it is. Seeing Natalie and Robert’s blissful smiles throughout Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o’s sermon was lovely to witness!

Our charming couple eloped on the sandy shores of Maluaka Beach! This location is a serene destination just south of Wailea. We love this spot because it has a long sandy shoreline and exquisite sunsets! Surrounding the seaside are beautiful natural landscapes; the epic lava rocks, sapphire waves, and lush greenery are our favorite backgrounds. Although there were heavy clouds in the sky, they didn’t stop the sun from shining brilliantly! It created the perfect ambiance for this event.

Polo and Kevin arrived at the ceremony shoreline together! They’re wearing comfortable but beachy attire. We like how sophisticated their black shorts and white button-up shirts look. In addition, we adore their custom leis! Polo and Kevin made their elopement unique to them by getting creating a floral arrangement perfect for them. Oli & Mele – About This Maui Beach Elopement

Reverend Kuya officiated Paula & Mike’s ceremony. He included traditional Hawaiian elements, like the blowing of the Pu (conch shell), a blessing over them (an oli), and the exchange of lei. He brought both humor and heartfelt sentiment to the wedding, and it honestly seemed like he had known Paula & Mike for years.

Paula surprised Mike by having an ukulele musician at the ceremony — he loved it. Chayce played the sweet mele (songs) and stuck around to chat with Mike, who plays ukulele in a band with his friends back home in Oregon.

Better Together – About This Couple

Paula & Mike are semi-retired and are proud parents and grandparents. Fate brought them together when they both decided to go out on a limb and make a Match.com profile. Love blossomed and ushered them into a happily ever after!

They enjoy cooking, entertaining, and wine tasting. They visit Hawaii quite often, but they usually are on Oahu. So Maui was a special vacation for these sweethearts, and they were enjoying every moment. The Maui Beach Elopement was just one part of their romantic getaway.

Paula & Mike have been together for eight years, so they shared many memories. We think the best is still ahead of them, though. As they stood together as newlyweds, looking off to the horizon, they saw a great future full of ever-growing love and joy. We’re so glad we got to be a part of this core memory!

After dating for about one year, Stephanie found the perfect time to pop the question. Stephanie proposed to Amani at a serene lake — this spot was meaningful because they’d hiked here before! Currently, Stephanie and Amani are university professors in Long Beach, California, and they have two adorable kittens!

Stephanie and Amani love enjoying life! They adore cooking, going on long walks, and doing fitness classes together. Once we learned this, we knew they would relish a Maui beach elopement!

Rindy has been to Maui before; however, this visit was Brad’s first time on the island. When our charming couple decided to get married, Brad had the vision of tying the knot in paradise! Then, Rindy was onboard because this destination was breathtaking. Their Hawaii elopement focused on their love for one another and their faith! Ironwoods Beach created an enchanting backdrop for this event! As we arrived at the ceremony shore, the sun was sitting in its golden hour. Then surrounding Rindy and Brad was striking scenery! You can see the sapphire waves, ivory sand, and dramatic lava rocks decorating the background in every shot. Above all, we love how impeccable the weather is! The delicate clouds in the sky and the sun’s radiant glow enhanced the romantic ambiance.

The Heartwarming Hawaii Elopement

Rindy and Brad were looking forward to having an intimate Christian ceremony when they tied the knot! Kahu Ricardo Hanako’o delivered a lovely Hawaiian religious sermon. His words made this sunset occasion meaningful — you could tell our delightful duo enjoyed it! Then Karma Hill Photography effortlessly captured every significant moment of this elopement. You can see our gorgeous couple’s affectionate expressions as they exchange leis, rings, and vows! They have nothing but bright smiles on their faces.

When we asked Rindy and Brad about their Hawaii elopement — they shared such thoughtful words! Our team’s kindness and attention to detail blew our stunning couple away. Most importantly, their special day exceeded their expectations!

Currently, Rindy is an Occupational Health Nurse at an Aluminum Rolling Mill. Then, Brad is a Maintenance Technician at the same place. Our passionate pair has been living with one another for the past four years. After going through divorces in 2017 and 2018, they’re lucky they found one another because they have a deep connection!
