Our charming couple met at work, actually! They felt a spark and began spending quality time together outside of the office…and nearly seven years later, they are taking the next big step of commitment!

Even though they had never been to Hawaii, their Maui elopement was exactly what they had hoped for! The intimacy of the day focused on their profound love for each created magnetic moments through our lens!

These soft, beachy colors of DT Fleming Beach were so flattering for photos! We love the tranquility and peace they evoke…

The single ukelele was a classic Hawaiian touch to their first kiss as husband and wife!

We wandered down the beach with our beautiful newlyweds, who were showered with love by their friends and family. Jessica looked so beautiful in her lace gown with 3/4 length sleeves. And Jeremy looked equally handsome in his soft grey suit that matched the pastel colors of the setting!

Yes To Us

Our happy couple said they were equally as happy as they were nervous on their big day, as you can imagine! But they wouldn’t trade this moment for anything in the whole world!

A few days ago, we had the absolute pleasure of photographing Angela and Thomas’ Maui elopement! It was a simple and lovely celebration that centered around their love and commitment to each other. Elopements are so incredibly moving because all the noise and fanfare are stripped away and what’s left is what truly matters most at the heart of it! So let’s see a few highlights of their precious day…

At The Heart of It All

It was a glorious afternoon; the sun shone on our sweet pair for their Maui elopement. Elopements are the most intimate of nuptial celebrations that leave us deeply moved. You could feel their deep connection and love for each other when they stepped onto the beach! It was a relaxed, carefree ambiance that was so fitting for our lovely couple. At the heart of it, they wanted something simple centered around just the two. It was so beautiful to witness!

The Look of Love

When they exchanged their leis, Angela looked at Tom with such warmth and love, as you can see below. It took us aback as if they were the only two in the world! That makes a Maui elopement so special…it’s nothing but you and your partner with the waves, sunshine, and sand in paradise. Thomas couldn’t stop staring at his beautiful bride too!

Our hearts lept as Reverend Richardo declared our stunning couple, “husband and wife!” It was the moment they both had been waiting for… you can see the joy and happiness radiating around them!

Angela was a vision in white – she opted for a delicate beaded gown that sparkled in the sunlight! Her tropical bouquet completed her glowing complexion. Doesn’t she look stunning?!

Now it was time to celebrate! We took a few portraits of our newlyweds as the sun began to dip below the horizon. The lighting was so soft and luminescent! Tom looked happy and proud as he embraced his new bride…so romantic! Their genuine love and support for each other shone through our lens the entire afternoon, as you’ll see below…

For their Maui elopement, our charming couple chose Maluaka beach for their special celebration. We love this beach for a Maui elopement because it is a long, beautiful beach on the quieter side. Opposed to the more crowded and touristy beaches, this one is calmer and has the most amazing sunsets!

These two! We think these are our favorite photos of the day yet! There is such warmth, affection, and deep friendship between them… so blissfully happy!

Paradise Found

After the most serene portraits, our dear couple’s playful side came out! They danced, twirled, and soaked in the tropical scenery as the sky turned to amber and gold… just the two of them. We were in awe of these precious moments! Maui elopements are truly enchanting!

Fate had a hand in the meeting of these two! Delila and Micah’s Maui elopement was a private and special affair. We couldn’t help but feel the spark and chemistry between our couple! Even our photographer gets just as excited as our couples do on the day! How could you not?! They radiated happiness and warmth throughout their entire private ceremony. Seeing their faces light up the first moment they saw each other was a joy to capture – absolutely priceless!

How They Met

Believe it or not, Micah was actually training Delila for a position at their local high school. Since it was a professional relationship to start, Delila was taken aback that Micah actually had the nerve to ask her out! She was literally swept off her feet as he proposed to her while skydiving from a plane from 14,400 ft! As fate would have it, these two went from the high school halls to eloping in Maui. They have a sweet blended family of 8 boys and 3 daughters who are overjoyed for their parents!

A Maui Beach Elopement

They were actually quite nervous on the day! Although, we think that those nerves wore off in the Maui sunshine and salty breeze! The embroidery on Delila’s dress and the pop of pink of Micah’s suit were so unique! It’s so refreshing when our couples have a little bit of flair and fun on their wedding day! Effortless style paired with carefree elegance is the perfect choice for a Maui elopement on the beach. It was no wonder why they chose Maui to elope because Delila loves the Hawaiian culture, natural beauty, and the ocean!

Delila and Micah chose Maluaka Beach on the south side for their Maui elopement. We prize this location because of its long stretches of white sandy beaches and its amazing sunsets! The couple loved the peace and tropical backdrop of the lava rocks and palm trees. They are simply glowing! They were so comfortable in front of the camera with each other at their side. Their simple and relaxed Maui elopement was exactly what they envisioned!

We had a ball at Shea & Todd’s Maui elopement! This beautiful pair traveled from Canada to tie the knot in Hawaii, and we’re so glad they did! It was a stunning evening with a captivating couple, and now we get to share some of our favorite photos!

We met Shea & Todd at Ironwoods Beach and took a small hike to the clifftop, where unbeatable views awaited us. Reverend Kimo officiated the ceremony — he brought Hawaiian traditions and a lot of heart. Keep scrolling to see how amazing this elopement was!

The Best View is When I’m Looking at You

Shea & Todd valued the simplicity and elegance of a Maui Elopement, but there was a tinge of worry to their wedding day. Rain hovered on the radar, threatening to claim their tropical dream. Of course, there is beauty in dreamy, rainy wedding days, but there was something else in store for this darling duo: dry weather, glowing sunset lighting, and pastel skies.

We had the best view of all that up on the cliffs at Ironwoods Beach. This spot is great for adventurous elopers who don’t mind the wind and rugged terrain. Luckily Shea & Todd are as adventurous as they get, and they really shined in this elevated setting.

These two would have been all smiles in any setting — it’s their love that prevails time and again, and they always find joy in everyday life. But here in Hawaii, surrounded by such natural beauty, their joy was enhanced, lifted, and transformed into hope they can carry for a lifetime.

It’s couples like this that remind us how much we love planning Maui elopements!

From One Diamond to the Next

Nearly every wedding involves diamonds, but Shea & Todd are drawn to a different kind of diamond — the one found at the ball fields. Avid baseball & softball fans, they also both play the sport and love spending their free time on the fields.

While their love of baseball bonded them early on, they actually met playing dodgeball. We guess they couldn’t dodge the spark of romance between them, but why would they want to?

Shea & Todd are such a cute couple, full of life and adventure. And their Maui elopement allowed them to slow down and truly appreciate their love story.

Now that they’ve had their breathtaking Maui wedding, they can look forward to what’s ahead. Supporting each other in their career goals, spoiling their cute dog Grey, more time playing ball, and hopefully a trip back to Hawaii soon!

When you elope in Maui, there are fewer things to make you nervous. That’s what draws so many wonderful couples to our island. One thing that brings anxiety to even the most laid-back couple? The weather.

Let’s set the scene, and then you’ll see how awesome Stephanie & Chris are!

Last weekend brought gray skies and lots of rain. Definitely not the bright tropical elopement this sweet couple dreamed of. We planned to have their ceremony in Wailea, but cloudy skies lurked overhead.

So what do Stephanie & Chris do? They go with the flow. These two were terrific, and sure they’d have a great day anywhere. So when we suggested moving to a dryer area of the island, they were totally up for it.

We met them a few minutes north in Kihei, where it seemed dry and clear. But we weren’t out of the woods yet.

It seemed like a rain cloud was following us, threatening to dampen our new plans as well.

Was it a miracle that the rains held off and the clouds cleared? Was it the wedding angels smiling down on Stephanie & Chris? Was their love so bright that no rain cloud stood a chance against them?

Best Delivery Ever

Stephanie & Chris are such a great match for each other! They’re laid-back yet adventurous, hard-working but always ready to share a laugh. The perfect type of couple to elope in Maui!

In fact, Chris had a somewhat humorous way of proposing to his now-wife. Stephanie is an online shopping enthusiast and looks forward to her Amazon deliveries. They joke that Stephanie gets home from work and enthusiastically greets the packages on her front porch before saying hi to Chris.

When it was time to surprise Stephanie with an engagement ring, Chris disguised it in an Amazon box and added it to her stack of packages. She was shocked and ecstatic when she opened that box and found it was a ring.

Of course, their proposal was emotional too, but it shows the kind of lighthearted fun these two are always searching for.

Their wedding reflected that too! While they were full of beauty and romance, they were also playful and cute. We loved helping coordinate their plans to elope in Maui!

An Emergency Meet-Cute

Stephanie & Chris first met in the ER. Stephanie is a nurse, and Chris is a firefighter/paramedic. They had seen each other a few times in passing, but hadn’t ever talked.

One night, Chris brought Stephanie an ER patient and a pickup line. He wanted to talk to her for a while but was too nervous. He lingered a while after giving Stephanie the patient’s report, and he ended up with her phone number. Score!

What started as workplace flirting ended up being a lifelong romance.

Once it was time to plan their wedding, they realized they were more excited about traveling than hosting a big event. Chris had been to Hawaii before, and Stephanie really wanted to visit the islands with him.

So they decided to Elope in Maui!

From Preschool to Forever

Ashley & William grew up in the same town and went to preschool together, so they’ve pretty much known each other their whole lives! But what brought them from toddling cuties to lifelong partners? Their love story began in high school — They started dating when they were seniors and have been together ever since.

Years passed, and they eventually joined us for a Maui Beach Elopement. They got engaged in 2018. It was a quiet Christmas Day proposal, perfect for this private couple. Not ones to stage big productions or go over the top, Ashley & William wanted their wedding to be simple yet special.

We’re so glad we could help them plan a wedding that was right for them. Baldwin Beach was a vibrant and scenic setting, and Richardo officiated a heartfelt ceremony, complete with Hawaiian traditions and a beautiful blessing.

Ashley & William have so many loved ones supporting them from back home, and now they get to share beautiful Maui Beach Elopement photos with them. They’re a stunning couple who brought so much life and emotion to each image!

The Right Time & Place for a Maui Beach Elopement

We love morning weddings at Baldwin Beach. The water takes on a bright, turquoise color and the West Maui Mountains stand tall in the distance. There’s soft golden sand here, along with lush greenery and lots of space to explore.

It was so much fun to spend the morning with Ashley & William. We included lots of time for newlywed portraits during their Maui Beach Elopement, so they walked along the shoreline, cooled off in the shade, and embraced the North Shore winds that carried them warmth and blessings.

As the sun lifted higher into the sky, it was time to bid aloha to the gorgeous pair. Though this was their first time visiting Maui, we know it won’t be their last. Now that they’ve had a Maui Beach Elopement, Ashley & William will be drawn to the islands again and again, each time finding a new adventure and romance.

When Ally & Isaiah decided to elope in Maui, they knew they wanted it to be special. But that didn’t mean it needed to be complicated. This kind, vibrant couple understands the value of simplicity. The two of them dressed up in a beautiful location, some incredible Hawaii wedding photography, tropical flowers, and the natural magic of Maui — what more do you need?

So during a relaxing, fun-filled vacation, Ally & Isaiah met at a quiet beach and became husband & wife.

“With This Ring”

Rev. Robert “Kuya” Alamodin officiated Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony. He helped them Elope in Maui by providing a heartfelt Hawaiian-inspired ceremony on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach. He announced the bride’s arrival by blowing his Pu (conch shell) and offered a Hawaiian Blessing.

Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony featured the traditional ring exchange and the island lei exchange. We love how they had a mix of customs — this way, they could enjoy the ceremony moments they always dreamed of and the ones unique to Hawaii.

They even included a cake cutting on the beach. This was a great way to have those cute reception moments in their simple seaside elopement.

Ally & Isaiah were glowing through each moment of their wedding. Seeing their bliss could convince anyone to elope in Maui too!

Where to Elope in Maui: Poʻolenalena Beach

Poʻolenalena Beach was a beautiful location for Ally & Isaiah’s Maui beach elopement. This scenic stretch of sand is located in Makena. There are lava rock formations, lush greenery, a rustic wooded area, and amazing views of Kahoʻolawe and Molokini in the distance.

A light cloud cover helped make their photos extra dreamy. A lot of time, when couples plan to elope in Maui, they dream of bright sunny skies. But Ally & Isaiah’s wedding proves that there’s a unique beauty even on cloudy days.

Plus, these two sweethearts brought all the light we needed!

Being a Maui elopement coordinator means we get to meet wonderful couples from all around the world. Last weekend we were lucky enough to meet Isela & John and be a part of their gorgeous beach wedding!

It was a remarkable day at Southside Beach, but first we met the lovely couple at their hotel. They were putting the final touches on their attire and getting ready for one of the biggest moments of their lives. Yet they were so relaxed!

Isela & John chose to elope to Maui so that they could focus on the joy of their day without any stress or worry. It was totally working for them! We loved every minute of this sweet wedding — check out some of the photos below.

Making Each Moment Special

Rev. Kimo guided Isela & John through a Hawaiian-inspired ceremony. He added a great presence to their wedding day, offering both humor and earnestness to their vows.

After months of planning and a full day getting ready, the time finally arrived: Isela & John became husband & wife!

After their pronouncement, they walked along the beautiful beach, took portraits with the setting sun, and had an old-fashioned cake cutting. This is a great option we offer as a Maui elopement coordinator. Just because you aren’t having a big, traditional reception doesn’t mean you have to skip the sweet parts.

Not only did the cake cutting add a touch of tradition to their beach elopement, but it also made for amazing photos.

This photogenic duo was so easy to photograph, and we loved spending the evening with them.

As the sun set on their wedding day, our time as Isela & John’s Maui elopement coordinator was coming to a close. But we know these two can’t stay away from Hawaii for long. Now that they have such an important memory here, they’ll be returning to see us again and again!

The peaceful waters of Wailea welcomed Brandon & Devony as they arrived to the beach for their Hawaii Elopement. The couple was dressed up, yet relaxed; romantic, yet playful. We can tell they have a great relationship and a wonderful future ahead of them.

From One Joy to the Next

Reverend Richardo led Brandon & Devony in a heartfelt ceremony that he enriched with Hawaiian traditions and just a bit of laughter. The vows came naturally for these two. They’re already business partners and now are partners in life.

But they have one more joint endeavor ahead of them: parenthood. Devony is pregnant with the pair’s first child, so she had an extra special glow. With the exciting changes ahead, the Hawaii elopement ceremony held even more meaning for Brandon & Devony.

And so they married on Labor Day and now can look forward to their next labor day — the day when Devony delivers their bundle of joy!

Leading Each Other

Not only was this a Hawaii elopement trip for Brandon & Devony, but it was also their Babymoon. Their Maui escape allowed them to wed before their little one’s arrival and enjoy some much-needed relaxation.

Their journey to this moment began long before they booked their Hawaii wedding, though. They grew up in the same town and knew of each other long before they really met. Finally, their paths intersected, and soon a friendship blossomed into romance.

Brandon proposed during a backcountry canoe trip in Algonquin Park, a vast and scenic natural area. Just like their Hawaii elopement, their engagement was romantic, adventurous, and full of life!

Dreamy Portraits at a Hawaii Elopement

After the ceremony, it was time for Brandon & Devony to take newlywed portraits around the beach. These two live on the water in Ontario, so they fit right in here. The final half hour of each day in Maui features ever-changing light. We quickly go from bright sunny skies to gentle glowing hues to vibrant red horizons.

And Brandon & Devony were gorgeous for each moment of their sunset wedding. They walked along the shoreline, marveled at each other’s beauty, and kissed in front of the setting sun.

Their Hawaii elopement allowed them to marry without distractions and worries, and as they took in the last light of their wedding day, they soaked in each memorable moment.

On Sandy Shores

Lahaina Shores Beach was the perfect setting for Linda & Marco’s Maui elopement. The water here is calm, and dreamy clouds dapple the late afternoon sky. As the sun dipped lower toward the horizon, these two sweethearts vowed to spend the rest of their life together.

It was an easy vow. After all, they’ve been together since 2016 and first met back in college. And Reverend Richardo brought so much heart to their ceremony. When you elope in Maui, you don’t need much, but simple things like a heartfelt ceremony and a gorgeous setting help make the day even more special.

Always Home to You

Linda is a counselor and Marco works in the tech industry. Their fields of work are totally different, but at home they’re two peas in a pod. Right now it’s just the two of them and their sweet dog Ivory, but we’re confident their trips to Maui will soon become family vacations.

We loved getting to know Linda & Marco and so grateful they chose us to help them Elope in Maui. It was a gorgeous evening with a gorgeous couple. Their love and kindness overflows into everything they do, and it made their Hawaii elopement a true adventure!

Being a Maui elopement coordinator is so much fun, especially when we meet great couples like Stephanie & Abraham! This adventurous and kindhearted couple was so great to work with. Plus, they’re so photogenic!

Their wedding took place at beautiful Ironwoods Beach and was filled with so many sweet moments. Below, we’re featuring some of our favorite shots from Karma Hill Photography. Check them out, and join us in congratulating the lovely newlyweds!

“You Will Never Walk Alone”

Reverend Kimo led Stephanie & Abraham in emotional vows but was sure to add enough humor to fit their bubbling personalities. Their oceanside ceremony was a chance to reflect on their relationship so far and create a foundation for a beautiful future together. Without any stress and distractions, Stephanie & Abraham could be fully in the moment during their Hawaii elopement.

But how did these two soulmates end up finding each other? The dating app Bumble is responsible for bringing Stephanie & Abraham together, and their shared humor and complementing personalities have carried them from first dates to forever vows.

Back home in British Columbia, Stephanie is a behavioral consultant, and Abraham is a high school teacher. They love hiking and got engaged while shoe shoeing on a mountain.

They were lucky enough to have strangers photograph their mountaintop proposal, but they weren’t taking any chances with their wedding. They hired us as their Maui Elopement Coordinator, and we were sure to bring along our partners at Karma Hill Photography to expertly capture each moment.

Marrying at Ironwoods Beach in Maui

Ironwoods Beach is one of our favorite Maui Elopement locations. It’s a scenic spot on the island’s west side, tucked away on the Kapalua shoreline. A white sand beach stretches between dramatic rock cliffs, and the sunsets are dreamy. We love offering our Maui Elopement Coordinator services here!

It does get windy at Ironwoods Beach, something that worked in Stephanie & Abraham’s favor. The breeze caught Stephanie’s hair perfectly, giving her major model energy, and it added drama to her gorgeous gown.

We finished up their portraits on top of the cliffs, where the views are amazing. But even surrounded by this unparalleled beauty, our favorite part was Stephanie & Abraham! Their beauty beat the gorgeous sunset and glowing ocean. Take a look for yourself!

Emily & Jason had never been to Hawaii, and yet they chose a Maui Elopement. It was a great decision if you ask us, and it’s also a testament to their adventurous spirits. This Colorado couple was brimming with excitement as they stepped onto the shoreline for a romantic wedding.

The Meaning of Aloha

Kahu Euta officiated Emily & Jason’s Maui elopement. Not only did he lead them in inspirational vows, but he also shared a lot about Hawaiian culture. He explained that Aloha means more than simply ‘hello’ or ‘goodbye’ — it’s also the ultimate expression of love and compassion.

As Emily & Jason presented leis to each other and vowed a lifetime of love, they also acknowledged the journey that led them to their wedding, along with the energy and romance that will carry them throughout their marriage.

From the Mountains to the Sea

Emily & Jason are an ambitious and fun Colorado couple. Their work and their fur babies keep them pretty busy — rescues Zuni & Daisy are the light of their lives. And Daisy even got to be a part of their mountaintop proposal!

Both Emily and Jason each claim to have come up with the idea of eloping early on, but their wedding planning began with a traditional hometown venue booking and an ever-growing to-do list. Once they realized their wedding wasn’t a right fit for them, they booked a Maui elopement instead. We’re so glad they did!

It was a peaceful day at the beach, and the sunset was spectacular. As Emily & Jason roamed the beach, danced in the sand, and marveled at the sunset, we were busy admiring how amazing they are!

We love meeting great couples from around the world, and Emily & Jason are definitely all-stars!
