China and Stephen’s Maui venue wedding day was an absolute dream come true! As software engineers by profession, they lead busy lives, but they always find time to enjoy family moments and play games together. Living in Denver, Colorado, China had always dreamed of getting married in Hawaii, and Stephen saw it as an opportunity to give his family a much-deserved island vacation.

Their love story began back in college when they were both teaching assistants for a computer science course at the University of Arizona. It didn’t take long for them to realize there was something special between them, and after graduation, they embarked on a journey together, living in California for seven years before moving to Colorado. Madison and Chad always dreamt of getting married by the water, so we were delighted to coordinate their Maui venue wedding! (Given that fact, we think they couldn’t have picked a better place than Hawaii!) It was a glorious day by the water’s edge under the sunshine for their special day. Close friends and family joined them in their intimate ceremony, who were happy to make the trip to celebrate their love. Curious to see how their big day turned out? These lovebirds met on a dating app in January 2022 and fell in love from day one! They have so much in common, and they knew this connection was something special. Several months later, they were engaged!

Their big day finally arrived, and we couldn’t be happier for them! Their Maui venue wedding was exactly what they envisioned; ocean breeze, sunshine, salty air…and full of love. Chad especially wanted to get married in Maui, so they thought, why not?!

Oceanside Dreams

Their beautiful oceanside ceremony took place at Wailea Beach Resort at Lanai Point on Maui’s South Shore. We love this location because it allows you to be as close as possible to the ocean while still having the privacy of a venue wedding! Guests can sit comfortably and admire the view and the celebration. It’s the best of a beach and venue wedding! Plus, the views are incredible too!

It wasn’t long before our happy newlyweds left the shoes at the altar and made their way down to the beach below! They basked in the golden sun and the carefree, relaxed ambiance of the gorgeous setting. The sunset was incredible for the new Mr. and Mrs. too! Their Maui venue wedding ended with a golden glowing bang, as you can see! Maui’s south shores rarely disappoint! It was the perfect ending to Madison and Chad’s special day…
