Lisa and James confess that they “Love, love, LOVE Maui!” So, of course, they wanted to tie the knot with a Maui elopement! Ironwoods beach was the original plan, but rain was in the forecast, so we decided to relocate to the friendly skies of Lahaina Shores. With boats speckling the horizon and swaying palms in the backdrop, this Maui elopement was filled with beauty and a strong sense of unity.

Lisa is a semi-retired banker, and James is a jack of all trades, working as an electrician and owning both real estate and a restaurant. Their marriage ties together two families, Lisa’s three girls and James’ son, daughter, and granddaughter. These two have plenty to smile about!
Lisa and James chose a Maui elopement because it was a natural choice. As we said earlier, they simply LOVE the island! So much so, that they even bought a condo! Consider the honeymoon lodgings covered!

Lisa and James met through business dealings nearly 20 years ago, but it wasn’t until five years ago when they embarked on their first date. After that, it didn’t take long before they were engaged in Chicago, and now here they are! Keep scrolling for all the sweet moments of this Maui elopement!

Thank you, Lisa and James, for choosing us to coordinate your Maui elopement. It was wonderful getting to know you both, and we hope to see you again for couple’s portraits sometime soon! Until then, we wish you all the best in the decades ahead!

There was no shortage of love and sunshine for Mackenzie and Cody’s Micro Wedding in Hawaii. Set on the sweeping lawn of Gannon’s grassy knoll, Mackenzie and Cody said “I do” beneath an elegant bamboo arch with the panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean in the backdrop.

There was magic in the air the moment Mackenzie made her appearance. When she locked eyes with Cody, our groom became visibly overcome with emotion. Few things compare to watching our couples step into the adventure of marriage together. Moments like these are why we love what we do!

Carrying a custom bouquet of silver dollar eucalyptus and white roses, Mackenzie embodied the beauty of Spring. Her twisted up-do and ornamental open-backed gown were just the right combinations of sophistication and simplicity. The groomsmen and Cody’s steel-gray suits and Prussian blue ties paired perfectly with the dusky blues of the bridesmaids. From pin-worthy poses to playful antics, we had a blast working with this crew and love how their Maui Wedding Photography turned out!

Mackenzie and Cody have been an item for a decade. They’re currently building a house together (the literal kind and the figurative house of marriage!). Mackenzie and Cody love the thrill of adventure! You can find them on their wave runner in the summer, or on a pair of dirt bikes or UTV vehicles. As you might have guessed, they LOVE the sunshine! And it’s a good thing too, because their Micro Wedding in Hawaii was flooded with it!

Following their ceremony, we brought Mackenzie and Cody down to the shoreline for gorgeous couples portraits against a backdrop of dreamy pastels. You don’t want to miss this!

Thank you, Mackenzie and Cody, for trusting us with your Micro Wedding in Hawaii. We had an amazing time getting to know you both and wish you all the joy in the years ahead!

Lisa and Ryan had a gorgeous vow renewal in Maui, and all we can say is it was fairy beautiful! Dressed in whimsical gowns to match Mom’s chiffon dress, Lisa and Ryan’s daughters were a joy to work with. It’s always a special honor for us to be able to coordinate vow renewals. These special celebrations highlight the strength and prosperity of our couples, and in Lisa and Ryan’s case, it’s clear that their love has brought beauty and joy into the world. Just look at their girls!

From the moment we met Lisa and Ryan, we knew this would be a vow renewal in Maui to remember! Southside Shore was alight with sparkling sun and a vivid ocean backdrop. The girls were easygoing and happy to be little helpers. From holding Mom’s bouquet to playing on their own during couples photos, these delightful kiddos reminded us of beautiful and spunky little fairies.

Lisa and Ryan chose to have a vow renewal to celebrate ten years of marriage. But with all the happy smiles and laughter, it was as if they were saying “I do” for the first time. We love the spring-themed flower crowns and Lisa’s matching floral hair piece. With the girls in pastel colors to match Mom’s cascading bouquet and offset Dad’s navy blue jacket, this beautiful family looks like they’ve just stepped out of a painting. Keep scrolling for all of the gorgeous images and fun moments!

Jessica and Darin said “I do” with a Hawaii Venue Wedding at the 5 Palms in Wailea. Rain is a sacred blessing in Hawaii, and when it graces your wedding day, it’s said to represent a lush and strong marriage. The covered lanai at the 5 Palms served as a gorgeous indoor venue with bungalow-inspired architecture and a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean. After Maui sent her blessing, the sun peaked out and Jessica and Darin had their first dance as a married couple right there on the beach!

Our couple met eight years ago through work, with Darin working as a graphic designer and Jessica as an Executive Assistant. Maui is a special place for Jessica and Darin–after all, it’s where they took their first vacation together! It’s little wonder why they chose Maui to be the location for their Hawaii venue wedding. There’s even been talk of settling down on the island, to which we say… Aloha!
When the time was right, Jessica and Darin became engaged by the river at his parents’ home. You can find them relaxing and enjoying themselves here nearly every other weekend. Surrounded by a literal dessert, this body of water is beyond special and seems to further represent the strength of Jessica and Darin’s marriage, just look at those genuine expressions of love! Keep scrolling for the spectacular beach shots!

Thank you, Jessica and Darin, for trusting us to coordinate your Hawaii Venue Wedding. We wish you all the happiness in the years ahead. And we look forward to seeing you on Maui again sometime in the near future!

We could not get enough of the smiles and laughter during Shannon and Troy’s Maui Micro Wedding! Southside Beach set the stage, and Shannon and Troy brought the newlywed magic! With only four special guests looking on, this was the perfect wedding day for a small-town couple.

Escorted by her father, Shannon made her debut on the Maui shore as Reverend Kuya blew the traditional Hawaiin conch shell. Troy’s first look was nothing but joy! Wearing a lace applique gown with endless drapery, Shannon is the incarnation of beauty. We love her bold skin art and elegant accessories. In fact, Shannon’s father designed and created her earrings and Troy’s wedding ring! What a beautiful way to create heirlooms that will be treasured for generations.

Shannon and Troy have known each other since the sixth grade, but it wasn’t until they were nineteen and working together when things took a romantic turn. After realizing they had plenty in common (including a mutual attraction!), Troy planned a romantic dinner for their first date. Six years and two wonderful boys later, and their Maui Micro Wedding became a reality!
Hailing from a small town in Oregon (population 2,000), Shannon and Troy felt a small wedding in Maui was the perfect way to solidify their union. With limited stress and endless tropical bliss to indulge in, Shannon and Troy were enjoying their wedding plus vacation combo! Keep scrolling for more of this beautiful couple!

Cindy and Scott’s 5 Palms Wedding in Maui was all about love! Nine family members were in attendance, including children and grandkids, making this sweet wedding intimate and filled with smiles. The day was blessed with comfortable weather and just the right amount of gentle cloud coverage to cool the warm tropical breeze from the ocean.

5 Palms is the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony that melds the perks of a venue with the backdrop of a beach wedding. Situated on the south coast of the island, the 5 Palms lawn overlooks the sparkling waters of Keawakapu Beach. With shoreline lava rock, golden sands, and an unparalleled view of the setting sun, this venue is what Maui wedding dreams are made from! And while we’re on the topic of Maui wedding dreams, how spectacular is it that Cindy and Scott were able to say “I do” in such a beautiful location with their children and sweet grandchildren watching on!

Cindy and Scott’s wedding opened with their grandbabies, AKA adorable Croc-wearing cuties! Seriously, does it get much cuter than this? Following the precious intro, Manutea Nui e provided the lovely sway of hula and the soft strum of the ukulele. Cindy’s son oversaw the union, sharing wise words and thoughtful sentiments before our couple had their first kiss as husband and wife.

Cindy and Scott met the modern way, on a dating app! After two years together, they both decided that the time was right to say “I do”! Cindy works as a nurse and teacher (this boss queen has opened TWO schools!), and Scott is a construction consultant. It seems like building important and strong structures is this couple’s forte, just look at their relationship! Keep scrolling for all of the beautiful and sweet photos from this 5 Palms Wedding in Maui!

Lisa and Brandon’s Maui Beach Wedding was a testament that love knows no bounds (or country borders)! With Lisa living in the United Arab Emirates and Brandon in London, most of their relationship has been long distance. So flying to Maui for the big “I do,” didn’t seem like that big of a deal! The day was vibrant with streamers of white clouds draped across the sky and an ocean of deep turquoise blue. This is a wedding in Hawaii you don’t want to miss!

Due to COVID restrictions, Lisa and Brandon could only have six very special guests in attendance. But with our “Wish You Were Here” enhancement to our Maui Beach Wedding Packages, Gaucho Visual live-streamed the entire event to friends and family back home! Cheers were echoing from all over the world for this gorgeous couple!

Lisa and Brandon are a powerhouse of intellectuals! Lisa is a corporate attorney and Brandon is an engineer. Because of their stations in different countries, these two spend time together by traveling the world. So far, they’ve visited 15 different countries! Recently, they’ve settled down in Houston for the foreseeable future to be around family.

Lisa and Brandon were introduced to each other in 2016 by Lisa’s sister. For two years, their relationship grew solid roots of friendship before blossoming into a love story. When the time was right, they took a relaxing getaway to the Texas hill country and got engaged on a beautiful pastoral ranch.

Looking absolutely stunning, Lisa wore a low-cut gown with floral embroidery by Bronx and Bronco. With a delicate jeweled tiara, shoulder drapings, and just the right amount of smokey-eye, Lisa is breathtaking! Is it any surprise that this bride loves fashion?!

Following his bride’s stylish lead, Brandon sported an eye-catching silhouette with a clean-lined blazer and crisp undershirt, all put together by JustPHILsRight men’s style consultant. Keep scrolling for more of Lisa and Brandon’s beautiful wedding in Hawaii!

Thank you, Lisa and Brandon, for choosing us to help make your Hawaii wedding dream a reality. We wish you only the very best in the years ahead and hope to see you again someday soon!

Wendy and Tom’s Maui Beach Elopement was filled with sun, sun, and then sun! Ironwoods beach set the stage with dramatic rocky embankments and towering cliffs. Paired with the dreamy lighting and rustic beach setting, Wendy and Tom glowed with genuine love and sincerity. From deep gazes to bursts of laughter, there was no shortage of romance and joy on the shore during this Big Day!

Wendy found Tom on Linkedin and noticed he was a trauma nurse, which she could relate to as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She did what any interested girl would have done, and looked him up on Instagram. A follow and message later, and the two were hitting it off like they’d known each other for years! But because they lived 3.5 hours apart, they got acquainted just over the phone. It wasn’t until Tom was packing his things for a 4-month travel assignment that Wendy finally drove down to meet him to wish him well. Pretty wise move because the rest of the story is right here on the blog!

Ironwoods Beach hugs the coast of Kapalua, a rustic jungle zone on the western side of the island. Featuring unusual rock formations and sheer cliff drops, Ironwoods is the perfect location for a Maui Beach Elopement that captures the wild side of Maui.

Wendy wore a simple, strapless button-down with a shimmering fabric that flowed just the right amount in the winds of Ironwoods. She kept the accessories minimal with a pair of orchids to accent her beachy up-do. Tom sported black slacks with a battleship-gray vest and black and white contours to pull it all together. But the best part about their style? Those smiles! How sweet are these two?! Keep scrolling for all the magic from this Maui Beach Elopement!

What do you get four years after Amber and Nolan walked into a bar? A gorgeous Micro Wedding in Hawaii! A glowing sunset, crashing waves, and a couple who positively glowed with love were the defining features of this beach wedding on Ironwoods. Amber and Nolan’s original wedding plan was to tie the knot in Vegas and honeymoon in the islands. But they soon realized they could get married AND honeymoon in Hawaii at the same time! We’re thrilled they decided to go with Plan B (Which everyone knows stands for “Plan Beach-wedding”)!

Amber’s son walked her down the steps to the shore, where Nolan waited with the biggest, most genuine smile. Dressed in a goddess gown with lace and elegant draping, Amber was a radiant beach bride. We love how the wild orchid woven into her delicate flower crown adds a burst of blush and plum. Nolan wore a simple button-down with gray slacks and a blush-colored tie to match his bride’s florals. The soft hues looked dreamy against the white sand and turquoise ocean.

Reverend Kuya opened the ceremony by blowing the conch shell, but a different special someone officiated the wedding. Tying Amber and Nolan together in holy matrimony was none other than Susan, the owner of the bar they met in! Talk about going above and beyond for your favorite patrons!

Following their beautiful Micro Wedding in Hawaii, Amber and Nolan took the walkway up to the cliffs of Ironwoods. Keep scrolling for all the soft and romantic couples portraits in Maui!

Kylee and Jay originally had their Wedding in Maui scheduled for 2020, but because of COVID travel restrictions, they decided to postpone it to this year. Their new wedding date was flooded with sunlight and too many smiles to count! So we feel it’s safe to say that this wedding was worth the wait.

The grassy knoll at Gannon’s in Wailea set the stage, and the venue was flooded with warm Maui light. Kylee entered with her proud mother and stepfather at her side, and her very own grandmother conducted the ceremony. Kylee’s grandmother has officiated the majority of the family’s weddings and baptisms, and it was truly an honor to work with them to keep this special tradition alive. It was a touching moment when all five of Kylee and Jay’s children came forward during the ceremony. The bride’s eyes weren’t the only pair tearing up during this sweet wedding in Maui!

Following the ceremony and group shots of the happy family, we took the short trip down to White Rock beach for some Maui Wedding Photography against the sunset. Keep scrolling for gorgeous skies of pastel pink and more beautiful moments from Kylee and Jay’s special day!

With over a decade of love beneath their wings, Kelli & Jordan glided into a beautiful marriage with a simple and elegant Beach Wedding in Maui. Ironwoods Beach set the scene with rolling waves and rocky backdrops. The island sent her blessing with a steady breeze that caused all sorts of playful mischief and showcased the flow of Kelli’s lace gown (and Jordan’s maile lei!). It was a very special day filled with deep love and genuine friendship.

Ironwoods is one of the most rustic beach locations Maui has to offer. Situated on the western shore in Kapalua, it features white sands, deep blue oceans, and dramatic cliffsides. The sky was slightly overcast during Kelli and Jordan’s beach wedding in Maui, but the weather held out and added to the rustic tropical atmosphere.

Kelli and Jordan met during their sophomore year in high school. Even though they attended different schools, they somehow managed to find each other. Love is crafty like that! Jordan knew a few of Kelli’s friends through baseball and they hit it off quickly over the phone.
Kelli was so charmed with him, that she asked Jordan to homecoming before they’d even met in person! When you know, ya know! And clearly, Kelli knew! These two will be celebrating eleven years together this October! You can’t miss the love, affection, and friendship beaming from these smiles!

Following the ceremony, Kelli and Jordan tossed petals into the ocean in honor and remembrance of Jordan’s late father. It was a beautiful moment.

How sweet are these two?! Kelli looks exquisite in a form-fitting lace gown from Lulu’s. Her flower crown and rustic Hawaiian bouquet fit perfectly on the wild shores of Ironwoods. Keep scrolling for all the wedding day sweetness!

Stephanie and Juan’s Micro Wedding in Maui was flooded with sunshine and sunny smiles. The golden sands of Poʻolenalena gave way to a glistening aquamarine sea with the wild greenery swaying the backdrop. Engaged for two years, and tired of waiting out COVID restrictions, Stephanie and Juan said “I do” to Maui and brought their children with them for a wedding dreams are made of!

Hailing from Seattle, Stephanie and Juan dreamed of marrying somewhere warm and replacing the gray skies with vibrant hues of gold. Maui did not disappoint. Located on the southside, Poʻolenalena rarely sees rain and with a western facing shore, offers unparalleled sunsets. Just look at that lighting! Although a lot of that glow is a credit to our beautiful couple!

Stephanie and Juan’s marriage blends two amazing families together. Present with them on the shore, Stephanie’s three sons will join Juan and his daughter. It’s a happily ever after, and kind of makes us think about Disney stories. Although maybe after meeting this spectacular family, we have Disney on the mind. Stephanie and her sons LOVE all things Disney and even managed to convert Juan and Jessica, which was a wonderful thing, considering how Juan proposed…

Juan had it all meticulously planned out, he would propose in front of the castle during their Disneyland trip. Unfortunately, the castle was under construction and covered with scaffolding and tarps. Juan was speechless. Okay, he wasn’t speechless. He just kept saying over and over again, “The castle is CLOSED?!” With his plans pulled out from under him, Juan waited patiently until the following day to pop the question in front of the fountain in the Disney California Adventure. And, of course, it was pouring rain. Yet the rain couldn’t have mattered less to Stephanie! She said yes!

Following the ceremony, the family gathered in prayer and tossed rose petals into the ocean in honor and remembrance of loved ones lost.

Looking at Stephanie and Juan’s Micro Wedding in Maui–the smiles, the love, the warmth–we feel pretty confident saying, “And they all lived happily ever after.”

Congratulations, Stephanie and Juan! Thank you for choosing us to coordinate your Micro Wedding in Maui. We loved learning about your story, and we wish you and your family all the very best in the years ahead!
