Jill and Eric met playing soccer in San Francisco, and little did they know that the end goal had nothing to do with a net and everything to do with a Maui Beach Elopement! Ironwoods set the stage with rocky outcroppings and the deep, wild shores of Maui’s west side. With luminous lighting and plenty of sweet embraces, this wedding day is a must-see!

Beneath the endless Maui sky, Reverend Richardo led the ceremony with wise Hawaiian adages. The ocean sent its sounds of Aloha while Jill and Eric held gazes as they exchanged leis and wedding rings. Read on to see our couple joined in marriage and celebrating with a first kiss.

You know, just the ordinary first kiss in front of a spectacular ocean view with powder-soft sands beneath your feet, the Maui sun on your shoulders, and the towering cliffs of Ironwoods beach in the backdrop. Nothing to write home about… Seriously though, how incredible is this Maui Beach Elopement!

Following the ceremony, we escorted Jill and Eric around the premises to capture all those luscious dynamic shots Ironwoods is known for. We loved how Jill’s gorgeous dress blended ever-so-perfectly with the rustic ocean hues.
Designed by her own mother, Jill’s turquoise ombre gown with floral overlay looks like it was sewn from the sea. Having designed three out of four of her daughters’ wedding dresses, Jill’s mother knows her way around Big Day drapery! What a special way to be a part of the before process as well as the actual ceremony. Well done, Mom!

Jill owns a baking company that specializes in homemade-style desserts. She bakes desserts & designs dessert tables for weddings and everyday life events. Eric is an engineer at Stripe for a company in San Francisco. They have a dog named Finley who they adore and spend most of their free time with. Jill and Eric met while playing on the same recreational soccer team in San Francisco.
It took TWO years before they began talking, but it didn’t take long after that for the romance to brew! Their relationship started with emails from Jill giving Eric pro marathon running tips, and after a run together with friends, their relationship blossomed (or maybe, in this case, it took off with a sprint!). Keep scrolling for more of this beautiful couple!

Congratulations Jill and Eric! Thank you for choosing us to help make your Maui Beach Elopement a reality. We had a wonderful time working with you and wish you only the best in the years ahead!

Together for seven years, Lynnsy & Ian were filled with emotion during their Maui Venue Wedding. On the manicured lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea, guests watched on as our sweet couple did what they’ve been destined to do–join their lives and hearts through marriage. The intimate moments and cherished looks are must-sees!

The day was slightly overcast, but when Lynnsy stepped out onto the aisle, it was as if she was lit from within, practically glowing with love! Wearing a boho-inspired gown by Sherri Hill and holding a Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet of island blooms, Lynnsy is a vision.
With the Maui tradewinds gently guiding her forward, she walked up to the love of her life, and they were both overcome with emotion. It was clear that Lynnsy and Ian aren’t only marrying the love of their life, they’re marrying their other half.

Lynnsy and Ian met in high school, but there’s some debate on exactly how long they’ve been dating. Was it the prom, or do the hangouts with friends count? All we know is there won’t be any debate on exactly how long they’ve been married! Their beautiful Maui venue wedding was one week ago to the day this blog was posted! Congratulations, Lynnsy and Ian! Read on for the spectacular beach shots!

Last year, Ian brought Lynnsy up to Mt. Davis, the highest point in Pennsylvania, and there he got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. We feel pretty certain that together, these two will always be at the highest point in their life, year in and year out. Keep scrolling for more sweetness from this spectacular couple!

Daisy and Harrison’s Venue Wedding in Hawaii had all the beauty of a tropical dream. The sweeping views of Maui’s southern coast served as the backdrop, but it was our beautiful couple who stole the show! With a handful of friends and family watching on, this is a union you don’t want to miss!

From the moment our bride and groom laid eyes on each other, we knew this was a day written in the stars. Daisy and Harrison’s wedding at Gannon’s was the Goldilocks of Big Days, not too elaborate, not too relaxed, but just right. Maui blessed the afternoon with vivid skies and a crisp island breeze.
Daisy and Harrison decided on a Venue Wedding in Hawaii after a hunt for the perfect location in their hometown of Nevada fell short. Instead of being disappointed, they realized they could have a dream wedding in Maui at a venue where the island does the decorating for you! Win, meet win! Keep scrolling for all the sweet moments!

Daisy works as a recruiter for the Army National Guard, and Harrison is employed at an RV company. Together they have two furbabies, Milo and Oreo, and they love to pamper their sweeties with walks and adventures.
Their love story began as two Army friends, but after a few years, it blossomed into a romance. Harrison proposed after an extravagant hike filled with waterfalls. He was so overcome with emotion when he got down on his knee that he was shaking and couldn’t get the words out. But that was just fine because Daisy was doing the same! The shakes have left, but their tangible love is stronger than ever. Just look at these two!

Mahalo nui loa, Daisy and Harrison, for trusting us to coordinate your venue wedding in Hawaii. We had a wonderful time spending the day with you. Congratulations, and we wish you all the joy in the decades ahead.

Hunter and Eric’s Maui Micro Wedding was bright and tropical to the max! And speaking of “to the max,” it does not get much cuter than when their adorable toddler Eli made his grand entrance as “ring security”! With family in attendance, a spectacular view, and unbelievable weather, this Big Day was nothing short of amazing!

Sporting a suit to match his dad and sunglasses that gave him that secret service air, Eli opened the event and had the crowd giving all the “awwwws.” After Eli completed his very important mission and delivered the rings safely to dad, those “awwwws” changed to “ooooohs” as the bride made her entrance. Hunter looked spectacular in an elegant gown with floral applique and a cascading bouquet bursting with the hues of the tropics.

Hunter visited Maui throughout her life and always knew the Magic Island was where she wanted to say “I do.” The hum of the ocean and the gentle breeze paired perfectly with the sound of the guitar, adding just the right amount of melody to a relaxing yet elegant day.

How adorable is this candid shot?! It’s okay, little guy, being that cute must be exhausting!

Following the ceremony, we stepped into the white sands of Keawakapu for gorgeous just Maui’d photography against the sunset backdrop. Keep scrolling for all the beauty!

Debra and Marlo wanted an easy, relaxing, and fun wedding, so they figured what better way than to elope in Maui! Ironwoods set the stage with luminous views of the Pacific Ocean and plenty of sand for our couple to sink their feet into. We could not get enough of the fun energy shared between Debra and Marlo on their wedding day. Read on for all the sweet moments!

Over the last ten years, Debra has been visiting Maui with her girlfriends to celebrate her birthday. The islands have a special place in her heart. Debra and Marlo even plan to one day buy a house and join the community, to which we say, Aloha! What better place to elope than in your happy place? It was clear that Debra and Marlo seemed right at home. Marlo even sported slippers on his wedding day!

Debra and Marlo met online through a matchmaking service. After a local Starbucks meetup, they knew romance was in the stars! They have five children between them, Debra’s two sons and Marlo’s three daughters. They both enjoy doing projects around the house and playing with their Golden Retriever, Teddy.

Together for five years, Debra and Marlo have a great engagement story! While she was working in the hospital and getting ready to escort a patient into surgery for a cesarean, Debra heard someone say, “Why is that man in a tuxedo?” She took a quick peek in the security camera, and sure enough, there was Marlo, waiting by the entrance doors to her ward.
In full scrubs (with a mask and hat), Debra raced towards him. As soon as Marlo saw her, he plunged a hand into his jacket pocket. But before he could do anything, Debra announced, “You can’t do this right now! But will you ask me again soon?” Later that night, they went for a drive to get an ice cream cone, and there in the car, Marlo popped the big question. And, of course, she said YES! Keep scrolling for more of this beautiful couple!

Mahalo, Debra and Marlo, for selecting us to help you elope in Maui and make your wedding day dreams come true. You were so much fun to work with. We wish you all the happiness in the years ahead and send our fondest Aloha.

Brought together by their older sisters who just “knew,” Ashley and Alex celebrated their love with a Maui Beach Elopement on the shore of Ironwoods. The day was magical with soft lighting and the crisp, salty air dreams are made of. From the moment Reverend Kuya blew the conch shell, Ashley and Alex were all smiles and joyous to be joined through marriage.

Ashley and Alex’s older sisters work together, and one day they got to talking and realized they both had brilliant and available younger siblings. Cue destiny! One thing led to the next, and now Ashley and Alex are proudly celebrating six years together! Great job, sis and sis! Together they have two furbabies, a dog named Maeve and Eleanor the cat. Ashley and Alex are “old souls” and love the simple things in life, a good game of Scrabble, a hike or visit to a museum, and an old-fashioned Chicago Pizza.

Situated on the westernmost point of the islands, Ironwoods features dramatic rock formations that resemble the cliffs of Ireland. Seen only on Maui, lava flow as recent as 1,200 years ago formed the plunging cliffs of Kapalua. Paired with the world-famous “Jaws” sized waves of the western coast, and the result is unparalleled rustic beauty.
Speaking of unparalleled beauty, how gorgeous are these Maui Beach Elopement shots?! We loved all the sweet lean-ins and gentle caresses shared between Ashley and Alex.

Congratulations, Ashley and Alex! Thank you for trusting us to coordinate your Maui Beach Elopement! It was truly wonderful to get to know you, and we wish you all the best in the years ahead!

Amy knows that she and Russ are “soulmates,” and it seems a Micro Wedding in Maui was written in the stars for these two. With COVID canceling all of their prior Big Day plans and with a trip to Maui already planned, the island was the perfect sandy venue for Amy and Russ to say, “I do.” Come see all of the joy and love of their very special day!

There was magic in the air when Amy graced the shore. Reverend Kimo blew the conch shell as the ocean lapped gently in the background. Amy and Russ had four special guests in attendance, Amy’s daughter and two of the couple’s best friends. But another very special guest made a surprise appearance. A Hawaiian monk seal rolled onto the shore to bask in the sun and the warm glow of Amy and Russ’ union.

Amy is a realtor in Buffalo NY and Ft. Myers Florida, and also owns a small bookkeeping business. Russ is a retired business professor with an accounting business called Small Business Resources.
Amy and Ross met in 1990 and dated for a year shortly afterward. Sixteen years later, they rekindled their friendship, and it was like finding their missing piece. Amy says, “We are soulmates, and we think almost exactly alike at times. It’s creepy!” But because Amy was recently divorced and her children were still young, they waited to progress things forward.

They were at last engaged in 2019 and the joy and love they radiated during their Micro Wedding in Maui was unparalleled! Just look at how genuine those smiles are! A circle of flowers, the ocean keeping tempo, the love of your life holding your hand, does a first dance get much better than this? Keep scrolling for all the sweet moments shared between these soulmates!!

Congratulations, Amy and Russ! It was a joy coordinating your Maui Micro Wedding! We wish you only the best in the years ahead. You have our fondest Aloha.

With only their adorable 20-month-old son in attendance, Hannah and Colby’s Hawaii Beach Elopement was filled to the brim with love and sunshine! On the shore of Poʻolenalena Beach, the weather was textbook “tropical goodness,” with soft skies and warm ocean breezes. It was truly a blessing to work with Hannah and Colby and their sweet son EJ to make this special day a reality.

In quite possibly the cutest entrance we’ve ever seen, baby EJ walked Hannah down the aisle (with a little help from Mom, of course). Wearing a form-fitting gown with bead threading and a mermaid-flair train, Hannah even had the Maui ocean temporarily pausing in its tracks. We loved her beachy hairstyle with a floral demi-circle to match her rustic Hawaiian bouquet.

Sporting a beige jacket and a cabana print button-up by Ralph Lauren, Colby looks right at home against the backdrop of palm trees and sweeping ocean views. And of course, in a blue coral-themed shirt and adorable rolled up pants to match his dad, EJ is the perfect little guest of honor. We love how professional he was in his role! How cute is that face?!

Hannah has her doctorate in psychology and has been taking a much-needed break to raise their sweet toddler. She recently accepted a position to work with kids with behavioral needs at the Yellowstone Academy in their home state of Montana!
Colby is a public affairs specialist for the US Department of Interior. He’s also studied media, produced short films, and worked as a photojournalist and video producer for the US Navy. His work has been published by news outlets like CNN and last year made the cover of The Economist Magazine!

Hannah and Colby’s “meet cute” is one of the best we’ve heard! Colby was visiting his brother-in-law’s tattoo shop when his brother-in-law snapped a photo of Colby and posted it on his own Facebook page. He told all of his followers that Colby was available and looking for love, and those interested should stop by the shop!
And who should walk through the door first but Hannah herself! She admits to seeing the post beforehand but SWEARS she had an appointment. She walked in expecting a tattoo on the skin and left with one on her heart as well. Beautiful impressions like these last a lifetime. Keep scrolling for more of this sweet family!

Imagine driving up to your Hawaii Venue Wedding in the MogWest version of the Morgan 3-wheeler, dressed to the nines, and with friends and family cheering you on. That’s exactly how Milorose and Kenji made their entrance! Does it get much cooler?! Together on the lawn of Gannon’s Restaurant in Wailea, Milorose and Kenji celebrated their love through marriage. This one is a must-see!

Following their roaring entrance, Milorose and Kenji stood together on the ceremonial lawn, with only south Maui’s sweeping views as their backdrop. Dressed in a two-piece gown with a lace crop-top, chiffon skirt, and a beachy up-do, Milorose easily outshone the posh designer cruiser!
Looking sleek himself, Kenji’s three-piece linen suit in aquamarine paired elegantly with his bride’s unique gown. With a Hawaii venue wedding ten years in the making, the emotions were running high. Keep scrolling for the sweet reactions!

Following the “I do’s”, we had to have one more look at that cruiser. Then, of course, a first dance on the shoreline! We took the short trip to Southside Beach with Milorose and Kenji, and there they celebrated with twirling, laughter, and a whole lot of gorgeous sunset shots!

Milorose works in consumer lending, while Kenji owns a bike shop. They love to bike, hike, and do anything outdoorsy. Their love story began when a mutual friend introduced them at a club while Kenji was working as a promoter.
Within months, the relationship was official, but it wasn’t until ten years later that Kenji booked a romantic hotel suite getaway and got down on his knee. Milorose mused, “Took him a while but he did it!” And in the end, that’s all that matters! It’s so clear that Milorose and Kenji have an unbreakable love that will last an eternity.

Casey and Logan wanted their wedding in Maui to be simple yet beautiful, something they’d look back on and cherish over the decades to come. Not wanting to harbor the stress of a big wedding in their hometown, a small wedding in Hawaii seemed like the perfect fit! Trinity Episcopal Church by-the-Sea set the stage for a ceremony that was simple, beautiful, and so much more!

Trinity by the Sea is a historic gem of old Hawaii. The hand-laid coral brick architecture dates back to the early 1800s and features a spectacular rustic wooden cross. With a roof that has long been lost to an ancient storm, the Maui sky now serves as the lofty and unparalleled ceiling for all ceremonies held within its walls. We love how Casey’s rustic Hawaiian bouquet and flower crown effortlessly tie in the palms swaying in the backdrop.

Casey and Logan both work for an Infinity car dealership, with Logan working as a technician and Casey as a service advisor. They built a strong friendship for over a year before revving the engine on love. Together they have one furbaby, a cavalier King Charles who is their world! Erin and John’s Destination Wedding in Maui may have been delayed five months, but it was still everything Hawaii wedding dreams are made of! With a cool island breeze, gentle sunlight, and friends and family cheering them on, saying “I do” doesn’t get better than this! The 5 Palms oceanfront lawn offered a sweeping view of the churning tides and leggy palms. Keep scrolling for all the sweet moments!

When Erin made her entrance, John’s ecstatic expression was hard to miss! Our own Reverend Kuya even offered a fist bump in celebration of the union. This is one of the biggest perks of a Destination Wedding in Maui–the fun atmosphere! It’s hard not to be joyous when you’re surrounded by the magic of the island, but add in the love of your life, and it’s pure elation!

Erin is a dental hygienist and John is a personal trainer and health coach. In their free time, you can find these two traveling, exercising, hiking, or cuddling with their golden retriever Leo. Erin and John attended the same high school, but didn’t end up meeting each other until after graduating college–love is tricky like that!

John proposed in March of last year, right around his birthday. He told Erin they were going out to dinner with just his family. But of course, that was only half of it! John had secretly invited her family to witness the proposal. And, as they say, the rest is history!

Anna and Kyle chose to elope in Maui in secret… And what a gorgeous surprise it was! Our bride and groom have the energy and easy-going nature of best friends, and they were simply a joy to work with. The smiles and laughter didn’t stop even when a rare Hawaii downpour graced the beach.

Rain on your wedding day is considered a blessing in Hawaii. But rain or shine, the most important blessing on any big day is a love as genuine and sweet as the love shared between Anna and Kyle. You don’t want to miss this one!

The ceremony began with an overcast sky that created dynamic lighting. As soon as the vows began, the island unleashed a brief downpour. We can only imagine how heartfelt their words must have been, considering Maui could not resist joining in on the blessing! Anna and Kyle chose to continue on and shared one of the sweetest “just married” kisses we’ve seen, all while underneath a cozy umbrella!

As soon as the kiss ended, so did the rain! The clouds parted and the sunlight returned just in time for our Maui Wedding Photographer to capture gorgeous photos of our lovebirds enjoying the beach. Dreamy lighting? Check! Maui blessing? Check! Couple in love? Check, check, check!

We’re head over heels with the bold look Anna sported. When you elope in Maui, why let the ocean be the only thing making a splash on the shore?! Carrying a fiery red bouquet of posies and roses to match her flower crown, and draped in a tiered gown with silver sandals, Anna is a gorgeous bride who isn’t afraid to own her beauty! We loved her confidence!

Taking a cue from his new wife’s playbook, Kyle put a fun spin on the classic suit with a mosaic tie that offers just the right amount of pop. Keep scrolling for even more beautiful moments!
