Southside Beach set the scene for this event! We like this destination because it has a long shoreline ideal for weddings and a variety of picturesque scenery! Our Couple’s Story

Susan and Mike first met one another on a popular online dating website. They chatted on the phone and texted with one another before they met in person. Our delightful couple had their first date on a Tuesday, then had their second on a Thursday. After this, the rest was history! Nine years later, they are still so smitten with each other and can’t believe they found their perfect match!

Our adventurous duo decided to have a Hawaii beach elopement because they’ve been together for so long. More than anything, they wanted their wedding to be about them, so they haven’t told their family and friends yet. Why We Adore Their Hawaii Beach Wedding

Intimate, carefree, and enchanting are the first words we think of when we see Marisa and Jason’s special day! When we arrived, we found a secluded corner on the beach for the ceremony. When the time was right, our bride elegantly walked down the shore. Jacob from Manutea Nui E was playing A Thousand Years on his ukulele during Marisa’s grand entrance. Our Couple’s Story

Currently, Marisa and Jason have been together for six and a half years! For the past three years, our lovely couple has been living abroad in Ireland. During COVID, they would visit a nearby castle ruin, Kilcrea Castle, to let their kitty explore and get fresh air. One day, they went back to their spot, and Jason popped the question at the top of the tower!

In March 2021, right after they got engaged, they moved back to Oregan. Now, they plan on purchasing a house and starting a new family! Katy and Kevin arrived at the ceremony lawn together. Our bride & groom made a breathtaking entrance side by side. Their faces were full of nothing but pure bliss as they walked down the aisle! Our lovely couple’s two sons stood by Kevin while their three daughters stood by Katy.

The Lighthearted Maui Venue Wedding

Katy and Kevin’s special day was fun, passionate, and magical! Reverend Kuya was the officiant, and he delivered a sermon with a delightful message. He was high-spirited and energetic throughout the ceremony and even made our joyful couple smile a few times! Then when it was time for music, Oren from Barefoot Minded played songs fitting the mood on his ukulele. His soothing tunes only enhanced the romantic ambiance created by this magnificent venue!

Setting the scene for this wedding was the Makai lawn at the Hyatt Regency. The sun was in its golden hour and shined warmly on the lush grass, making this event feel like a fairytale! Being only one step away from Ka’anapali Beach, you can see the ocean sparkling dreamily in the background. We like this venue because of how spacious it is. There was plenty of room for all thirty-three guests to sit comfortably and view the ceremony!

We love Katy’s custom bouquet by Dellables! You can see how the soft neutral tones balance flawlessly with the rich blush and mauve hues. Our bride made a great decision with this arrangement. It is fresh and boho — ideal for a fall venue wedding in Maui!

Our Couple’s Story

Nicole and Steve’s first met when they swiped right for another on a dating app. When the moment was perfect, Steve popped the question on a rocky outcrop at a beach in Carmel, California. After learning about their engagement, we knew a Maui venue wedding would be right up their alley! This visit was their first time in Hawaii, and now this island will always be dear to them.

Currently, Steve is a Building Automation Engineer, while Nicole is a Market Research Analyst. These radiant newlyweds have two sweet daughters: one is five years old, and the other is three months. In their free time, you’ll find Steve playing video games and Nicole curling up with a good book!

Our Couple’s Story

Megan and Kenneth’s story started when they met on a dating app. Our delightful couple had an instant connection because of their many commonalities! In September 2019, they moved in together and combined their families. Then, in March 2020, Kenneth and Megan bought a new house! These radiant newlyweds wanted to start a fresh chapter of their lives in their own space. This lovely blended family was supposed to travel to Hawaii for Spring Break in 2020. Due to COVID, they had to postpone their trip until November 2021. Not to mention, the timing was flawless, so this trip was a Thanksgiving family getaway as well!

Our Couple’s Story

Melanie is a touring bass player in the Boise, ID area. In 2015, Taylor first met Melanie at one of her shows in downtown Boise. When the concert was over, he approached her at the merchandise booth, and they chatted for a while! They had their first date on August 5, 2015! Then, on May 17, 2021, Taylor proposed on the patio of their favorite Mexican spot with the soft sunset above them. It was just like their Maui beach wedding: low-key, sweet, and simple!

Brooke and Matt’s story began when they met at a hospital they worked together at in Austin, Texas. Then two years later, they moved to Portland, Oregon, to be closer to family. Currently, Brooke is a Registered Nurse, and Matt is an Emergency Room Doctor. They have three dogs but plan to have more someday! Keshendree and Gerard exchanged leis on the sandy shores of Polo Beach. During their Maui elopement, the sunset emitted a warm glow as the foamy waves crashed behind them. Keshendree got a custom bouquet from Dellables. Everything about this vibrant arrangement is breathtaking! You can see how the bright coral, orange, and pink flowers balance elegantly with the deep green leaves. And Gerard’s boutonniere matches our bride’s florals flawlessly!

Why We Love Their Maui Elopement

Our splendid couple stayed at The Fairmont. When they were ready, they walked down and met one another on the beach path outside the resort. We adore how intimate and romantic this event was! There were no grand entrances or guests in attendance. Instead, our stunning bride and groom started the ceremony standing before the minister, Rev. Kuya. It was a simply beautiful wedding, and we’re glad Keshendree and Gerard got to savor it together.

What captivating portraits! The sun is naturally enhancing the backdrop making this image more dreamy. You can see how passionate and delighted our charming couple is to be newlyweds! We like how Karma Hill Photography captured different moments from their cake-cutting ceremony. Now, they’ll always be able to relive some of their first memories as husband and wife!

Polo Beach was the location for this Maui elopement. At first, there was heavy cloud coverage, but as the sun began to set, they cleared out. You can see the light blue sky and vivid color palette around our radiant newlyweds. The water was cerulean, sand was khaki, and foliage was a rich green. Above all, our favorite thing is how the striking lava rocks give each shot an enchanting feel!

In 2019, Randall and Jack visited Hawaii and fell in love with the aloha spirit! During this trip, our beautiful couple joked about getting married on the island! It was almost as if they planted the seed because they got to elope in Maui last week! Now, this destination will always have a special place in their hearts! Our stunning couple exchanged vows on Southside Beach. Velvety clouds were covering the sky as the cerulean waves flowed onto the sandy shore. In every picture captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see the many landscapes found at this South Maui spot. The soaring palm trees, epic lava rock formations, and rich greenery are a few of our favorites decorating the background!

Why They Decided To Elope In Maui

Several years ago, Randall and Jack visited the island and were close to spontaneously getting married on Southside Beach. When it was time to plan their day, they knew they would tie the knot in Hawaii. Our lovely couple got legally married in their hometown before their getaway and wanted to do something exciting in Maui! Since they’re both laid-back people, an intimate ceremony on a scenic beach was perfect for them! 

Randall is such a breathtaking bride! Her Maggie Soterro wedding gown is elegant, her hair is classic, and her makeup is chic. We adore how she chose the White Sands bouquet by Dellables — it’s delicate and simple. Most importantly, it goes gorgeously with her regal attire! And Jack makes a handsome groom! His suit from Banana Republic is sharp and bold. Overall, his monochromatic outfit is ideal for a peaceful Maui elopement.

What a magical picture! The soft shades painting the sky give this shot a dreamy feel. You can see how the light hues contrast with the deep tones of the lava rocks. Above all, we like how romantic this photograph is. Jack and Randall look so passionate. You can tell they’re enjoying this moment as husband and wife on the beach!
