Yoshimi and Aaron’s Maui Venue Wedding was truly spectacular! After meeting by chance at an event in Aaron’s hometown of Wellington, NZ these two wanted their wedding day to be every bit as special as their love story. While they had to overcome many cultural differences while dating, the bond they share is unbreakable! It was especially touching to witness as they moved closer together during their ceremony to exchange a few private vows for only their ears. We think this is such a sweet idea and know it’s an experience neither of them will ever forget!

The details at this Maui Venue Wedding were almost unreal! These custom florals created by Dellables were so so good. We love how deep berry colored flowers mixed with greenery created an elegantly romantic vibe at The Steeple House! That’s not all that was on point though, this couple’s wedding attire was so stunning they looked like they belonged in a magazine! Yoshimi looked breathtakingly beautiful in a princess line wedding dress that was so gorgeous we are still obsessing over it. Her groom looked equally stylish in a formal suit, he expertly paired a navy jacket with a light gray vest and slacks. These two are sharp dressers that’s for sure! Working with them to make this day a dream come true, was an absolute pleasure. Thank you, Yoshimi and Aaron, for letting Simple Maui Wedding participate in celebrating your marriage! Maui is undoubtedly home to some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world. The Steeple House in Maui, Hawaii is no exception! Our newest Maui Wedding Venue offering is located on Maui’s rugged northwestern shore. The dramatic rocks and rolling green hills are an amazing backdrop for wedding photos and the Steeple house offers both outdoor ceremony locations and indoor locations, just in case, the region’s famous passing showers don’t pass quickly enough!

The venue is walking distance to our most popular West Maui beach, Ironwoods Beach. So you would have the opportunity to have your ceremony at the Steeple house and then head to the beach to take photos on the sand or with the ocean cliffs. If you want to stay near The Steeple House the whole time, you can also take a walk out to the ocean cliffs just down the hill for some dramatic photos.

The Steeple house first started as a church in the 1950’s for the people who lived and worked in the area harvesting and processing pineapples and sugar cane.  In more recent days it was a wedding venue for the Ritz Carlton until a private owner purchased it and remodeled it with modern, non-denominational weddings in mind. The interiors are all a gorgeous white with elegant wood flooring and chandeliers. The spaces are open and can be configured many ways for ceremonies and offer ocean views from inside as well.
