Our Couple’s Story

Tom and Lisa first met through Facebook. At the time, Tom lived in southern California and Lisa in Chicago! Our elegant newlyweds bonded over their passion for traveling and had the perfect excuse to journey to see one another. After two years of visiting each other, Tom and Lisa got engaged and began living together!

Our beautiful couple decided to have a Maui beach elopement because they both adore the island! Tom has been visiting for years since attending the University of Hawaii. Early on in their relationship, Tom introduced Lisa to the Aloha State and brought her to Maui! This getaway was remarkable because our delightful couple created wonderful memories. Our Couple’s Story

Brittney and Luke met while working for the same company. After six months of Brittney inviting Luke to social outings, he finally attended one — they’ve been inseparable ever since! Our Couples Story

Harshil and Olivia’s story began in 2009 at a Halloween party. At the time, they were both freshmen at the University of Washington in Seattle. Our stunning couple originally started as good friends, but they couldn’t stay away from one another! In June 2012, they began dating, and on June 10, 2019, Harshil popped the question. Although the proposal was simple, it was memorable because they got engaged somewhere meaningful to them!

Harshil and Olivia’s relationship survived during many stages — from medical school to living long distances from one another. Their beach elopement in Hawaii started a new chapter for these newlyweds. We know this delightful couple can’t wait to embark on it as husband and wife and best friends!

Our Couple’s Story

Susan and Mike first met one another on a popular online dating website. They chatted on the phone and texted with one another before they met in person. Our delightful couple had their first date on a Tuesday, then had their second on a Thursday. After this, the rest was history! Our Couple’s Story

Currently, Marisa and Jason have been together for six and a half years! For the past three years, our lovely couple has been living abroad in Ireland. During COVID, they would visit a nearby castle ruin, Kilcrea Castle, to let their kitty explore and get fresh air. One day, they went back to their spot, and Jason popped the question at the top of the tower!

In March 2021, right after they got engaged, they moved back to Oregan. Now, they plan on purchasing a house and starting a new family! Our Couple’s Story

Nicole and Steve’s first met when they swiped right for another on a dating app. When the moment was perfect, Steve popped the question on a rocky outcrop at a beach in Carmel, California. Melanie is a touring bass player in the Boise, ID area. In 2015, Taylor first met Melanie at one of her shows in downtown Boise. When the concert was over, he approached her at the merchandise booth, and they chatted for a while! They had their first date on August 5, 2015! Then, on May 17, 2021, Taylor proposed on the patio of their favorite Mexican spot with the soft sunset above them. It was just like their Maui beach wedding: low-key, sweet, and simple!

Our Couple’s Story

Brooke and Matt’s story began when they met at a hospital they worked together at in Austin, Texas. Then two years later, they moved to Portland, Oregon, to be closer to family. Matt popped the question to Brooke in October 2020 in front of her sister’s family and their dogs! It was a special moment for our lovely couple because their four-legged friends were part of it!

Currently, Brooke is a Registered Nurse, and Matt is an Emergency Room Doctor. They have three dogs but plan to have more someday! Why They Had A Maui Venue Wedding

On 03/28/2020, Daniel popped the question while our charming couple was hiking with their friends. They got engaged when the pandemic first started, but they did not know how long it would last. When Mallory and Daniel began planning their special day, was when they first found Simple Maui Wedding. And they immediately knew they wanted to work with us! 

Our stunning couple was supposed to tie the knot on 11/17/2020, but they had to cancel because of COVID. After this, Mallory and Daniel attempted to plan more weddings on the mainland. Unfortunately, nothing ever felt right for them. The third time was when our gorgeous bride and groom knew they wanted to make their destination wedding a reality! Finally, everything worked out flawlessly. Our lovely couple became newlyweds on 11/17/2021!

The Hyatt Regency’s Japengo Lawn set the stage for this intimate venue wedding in Maui! Fluffy clouds were covering the blue sky, but they didn’t dim the sun’s brilliant rays. You can see how the soaring palm trees and the sapphire ocean create an enchanting scene! We like how the circle arch with foliage makes this venue look as if it’s out of a fairytale! Velvety clouds covered the sky and painted a dreamy spectrum of colors as the sun set. You can see the teal water, ivory sand, and striking lava rocks decorating the background, making every photo feel enchanting!

The Sophisticated Maui Beach Wedding

Reverend Joe Miles was the officiant, and he delivered a touching sermon. During the ceremony, Karma Hill Photography captured so many loving photos of our gorgeous couple. Our favorite portrait is when our couple has their first kiss as husband and wife. It’s a passionate and candid shot — perfect for a wedding album! Above all, Gaucho Visuals was the videographer, so our newlyweds will always be able to relive this delightful moment!

Our Couple’s Story

Haley and Mitchell first met one another online, and their relationship blossomed. When it was the right time, Mitchell surprised Haley and proposed while on a breathtaking waterfall hike! Our stunning couple decided to have a Maui beach wedding because they wanted to explore a new destination as newlyweds! Currently, Mitchell works as a Load Engineer, while Haley is the Head of Product for a software company. You can find them taking care of their animals, fly-fishing, traveling, or doing home improvement projects in their spare time!

Haley’s custom bouquet by Dellables is so delicate! We adore how the white flowers balance with the rich greenery gracefully. It was such a great style choice for our bride to pair this exquisite arrangement with her regal wedding gown!

Keshendree and Gerard exchanged leis on the sandy shores of Polo Beach. During their Maui elopement, the sunset emitted a warm glow as the foamy waves crashed behind them. Why We Love Their Maui Elopement

Our splendid couple stayed at The Fairmont. When they were ready, they walked down and met one another on the beach path outside the resort. We adore how intimate and romantic this event was! There were no grand entrances or guests in attendance. Instead, our stunning bride and groom started the ceremony standing before the minister, Rev. Kuya. It was a simply beautiful wedding, and we’re glad Keshendree and Gerard got to savor it together.

What captivating portraits! The sun is naturally enhancing the backdrop making this image more dreamy. You can see how passionate and delighted our charming couple is to be newlyweds! We like how Karma Hill Photography captured different moments from their cake-cutting ceremony. Now, they’ll always be able to relive some of their first memories as husband and wife!

Polo Beach was the location for this Maui elopement. At first, there was heavy cloud coverage, but as the sun began to set, they cleared out. You can see the light blue sky and vivid color palette around our radiant newlyweds. The water was cerulean, sand was khaki, and foliage was a rich green. Above all, our favorite thing is how the striking lava rocks give each shot an enchanting feel!
