Our happy couple took a vacation together to Maui in August of 2021, and it was on this trip that Morgan proposed to Audrey! (We also had the honor to capture their proposal back in 2021!) The two of them have always loved being around the water and, in Morgan’s words, “If it doesn’t have a beach, it’s not a real vacation!” So, when they visited Maui, they immediately fell in love with the island’s way of life and knew they wanted a Maui destination wedding! Our beautiful pair, originally from Texas, knew they wanted to have a destination wedding when they began their initial planning. And a Maui one is even better! Their friends and family, naturally, were so excited to make the trip (vacation!) and be able to share their Maui destination wedding with them. And they were not disappointed!

Their gorgeous wedding took place at Merriman’s Kapalua, right by the water. This location is ideal if you want the best of both worlds – picturesque views by the water and ceremony seating! However, what was most eye-catching during their ceremony was the stunning driftwood arch with tropical blooms…

As you can see, many made the journey for their Maui destination wedding! There’s nothing quite like celebrating with those you love most on your big day…and what a colorful bunch too! The vibrant and tropical colors were so fun to photograph!

More Than A Dream Wedding

Their first newlywed’s portraits were breathtaking as the sun slowly dimmed on the horizon. Audrey’s glittery, embroidered gown sparkled in the sunlight! And Morgan’s floral suit was also eye-catching and refreshing! Who can say no to a floral suit!?

These two were completely entranced in the moment’s magic, as you can see in these intimate portraits. The sound of the waves in the distance and the sun’s glow shining down on them added to Maui’s magical touch in their romantic love story!

The day of the wedding was everything they had hoped for and more! The sun was shining, the water was crystal clear, and the views were breathtaking… Ariel and Edward exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by their three young children, who played a special part in their big day! It was a beautiful moment for everyone to see this family come together as one…

It was a joy to coordinate and photograph Elizabeth and David’s Maui beach wedding last week! Hawaii is a popular destination for weddings because of its natural beauty and unique culture. For a bit of history of our sweet couple, they met on a dating app back in 2018 to built a strong friendship from the beginning! They quickly became best friends and deleted the app within a few weeks. And they got engaged in December 2021 in the San Bernandino National Forest after going on a horseback ride! So romantic!

Our beautiful couple tied the knot at Maluaka Beach, known for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, making it a perfect setting for a romantic ceremony!

Where do we start with our charming couple? Ellie and Doug have worked together for nearly 17 years, but they are not just co-workers, as you might guess! Our beautiful couple’s story began years ago…Doug and Ellie met when they worked together on a labor/delivery unit in their local hospital. And to our surprise, they worked many years together before falling in love! Ellie has two daughters of her own, and Doug has two boys, which makes a full and rich life together, as you can imagine! He proposed in June of 2019, in a beautiful private moment at home…and they both wanted something similar for their Maui elopement!

Maui is one of their favorite places, and they have been many times before! They love the privacy and scenery of the island, especially the dramatic cliffs of Ironwoods…and with passing showers out in the ocean, a rainbow appeared to bless them in their next chapter, as you’ll see!

After so many years of being co-workers and friends, we are so happy for these two! They are officially newlyweds! Their Maui elopement was simple, elegant, and intimate – just what they envisioned! A “no fuss, no frills” elopement often can be just as moving and grand as a larger wedding, but more in a more thoughtful and subtle way…just like Ellie and Doug!

Thankfully, the showers over the ocean stayed abrest and didn’t rain on our beautiful newlyweds! It was a little breezy, but that made for gorgeous, beachy photos…

Our darling couple has the sweetest story of how they met! Hanna and Dustin’s Maui elopement was a long time coming, as you’ll find out! But it was another beautiful day in paradise that these two would never forget! So, please keep reading to learn their endearing story…

There was always something more between these two…so in middle school, Dustin was Hanna’s older brother’s friend, and she had the biggest crush on him for what felt like an eternity! Little did Dustin know! They became very close friends in their early 20s but never dated. They reconnected almost ten years later and knew they had to get married! How sweet is that?!

We were so touched as they exchanged their thoughtful and meaningful vows. You can feel the deep friendship and love for each other in these photos! Their middle school selves would never have guessed they would have eloped together years later in Maui! We were so happy to capture these moments they will treasure forever!

Our beautiful newlyweds initially did not want to have any formal ceremony. They thought to spend just their honeymoon in Maui, but they ultimately decided it would be nice to have some photos and memories of a Maui elopement! And they have never been either! We are so happy they chose otherwise!

The light in the following photos is so stunning! It was so soft and golden…Po’olenalena Beach was the gorgeous location for their Maui elopement. This picturesque beach has a long stretch of sandy beach that is perfect for catching one of Maui’s epic sunsets too!

We rarely hear such a long love story like our beautiful pair, so this felt deeply special! Without a doubt, their deep friendship will carry them with strength and support in their next chapter together as husband and wife! We couldn’t be more pleased for you two!

Best Friends

Their day was full of light and laughter as their genuine friendship shone through the lens. They spend most of their free time together and are best friends. Before the ceremony, they gushed that they were so in love and couldn’t contain their excitement for their beach wedding! That’s what we like to hear! They wanted a simple ceremony right on Lahaina Shores Beach with the gentle waves lapping at their feet. We love shooting at this location because of the ample sunshine and the powdery white sand. Our Maui beach weddings have a carefree and blissful ambiance that makes them one of a kind!

When we asked Paige and Marty what they hoped for their Maui beach wedding, they wanted something relaxed, intimate, and simple. They invited a few close friends and family to take part in their celebration – barefoot of course! Their guests were so happy to finally see these two best friends tie the knot in Maui after three years of dating. The couple couldn’t wait to start their new life together as husband and wife!

The couple had the most exceptional weather with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze. Sometimes the Maui winds can prove to be tricky conditions for us to shoot in, but they couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day. Paige and Marty do love cooler climates but were thrilled to share their precious day on our golden shores.

Paige’s elegant yet flowy dress was perfect for a Maui beach wedding. The couple couldn’t be happier in the photos! We loved capturing their secluded and private moment under the coconut trees that dotted the shoreline. This beach is one of the island’s best locations to capture a Maui sunset wedding.
