After meeting on match.com and moving from Kentucky to Florida, these two were more than ready to get married at a Maui Venue Wedding. And we love that Stephanie and Craig decided to say, “I do” here especially since they love the beach and spending time outdoors in the warm weather. They also love the water and value making memories with Ella, our bride’s daughter and groom’s soon to be bonus daughter! So why not celebrate this very special occasion by also coming on their first Hawaii vacation? 🙂 . We love love love it!
When planning their Maui Venue Wedding Stephanie and Craig described it as simple, but elegant and romantic. Which is our specialty and exactly what they got! Our favorite element is how they included Ella in the ceremony and wedding portraits. How cute are these shots of her with Craig and her mother?! It’s obvious they all share unbreakable bonds and we’re confident this is a day none of them will ever forget! And we feel so lucky to have been part of it. Brenda and Frank kept their Maui Beach Wedding intimate with just a handful of guests, the bride’s sisters, mom, and best friend. They’re both from LA and this was their first time here, so it was extra special! And we’re confident this place will always be special to them.
One of our favorite things about being part of this Maui Beach Wedding was getting to know the story of how these two got together. Brenda and Frank actually met in Brazil in 2014 while there for the world cup! They were on the same shuttle and started talking because one of his friends was wearing an LA hat, so they realized they were both from there. She needed a ticket for the game and he had an extra one, and the rest is history! They are expecting a baby boy this fall and are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives as husband and wife and soon after mom and dad 🙂 . Getting to be part of this bride and groom’s Maui Venue Wedding was so much fun! Not only because these two were a blast, but because we love their story. They met because Timothy was friends with Alexey’s older brother. She had a crush on him and now they just got married in paradise! We love it!
From the moment Timothy saw his bride walking down the grassy lawn at Gannon’s he couldn’t stop smiling all evening long. And it’s easy to see why! Alexey looked absolutely stunning in a wedding dress by Sottero and Midgley. And with hair and make-up done by the talented team at MeiLi Autumn Beauty, her bridal glow was in full force! We especially love that she chose to add flowers to her hairstyle for an extra festive touch. All in all every detail of this destination wedding was a dream come true! This couple first met in high school and after living together for 19 years they were more than ready to seal the deal with a Maui Destination Wedding! We couldn’t help but notice how comfortable Renee and Chris were with each other. And we love that they were always wanting to play hence the parasols, fun shades, and the festive coconuts. Which were a big hit! The guests especially loved the ice cold fresh coco water post ceremony! Plus they looked awesome in photos 🙂 .
After taking wedding portraits these newlyweds were ready to celebrate by attending a luau at Feast of Lele! Talk about the perfect ending to an already perfect day. We love a spontaneous elopement, so when Nadia & Glenn called us with less than a week to plan their Maui Beach Wedding, we were so excited!! Not only did they book an amazing ceremony with us, but also a Maui Trash the Dress session too!
With so many beautiful locations, it’s hard to choose a single spot for a ceremony. That’s why Nadia & Glenn chose three locations! On Thursday they said “I Do” with their toes in the sand at Baldwin Beach in Paia. Then on Sunday they met back up with Karma Hill photography for portraits in Honolua Jungle and Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua. That’s one of our favorite spots for a Maui Trash the Dress!
While they booked their Maui Beach Wedding on whim, their love story is 11 years in the making! They met when they were neighbors in Boston and now they live in California. They’re busy with careers and school, so this vacation was a much-deserved getaway! We loved getting to work with Nadia and Glenn and we wish them all the best as they return home as husband and wife! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

We plan so many special ceremonies, but Cristina and David’s Maui Destination Wedding was extra special because it’s their second time marrying each other! These two were marred for 20 years before life happened and they went their separate ways. Thankfully life brought them back together, and we can tell that their love is stronger than ever! Their ceremony was the perfect way to celebrate their family uniting again!
It was a beautiful morning at Ironwoods Beach, and their family dressed in tropical pastels that looked perfect with the bright blue water and white sandy beach. Their children walked Cristina to her handsome groom and Kahu Ernest led them in heart-felt vows and a blessing. After the I-Do’s it was time for family pictures, which was so much fun with their wild family. This was their first morning on Maui so they were excited to start their vacation! We are so thankful we got to plan this Maui Destination Wedding and are so excited for the next chapter of Cristina and David’s life together! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Suzanne and Tom are an amazing couple and we are so happy to have been part of their special Maui Venue Wedding! They truly had Southern charm and kindness to say the least. And after getting engaged 6 years ago at Duke Gardens, in North Carolina where they are from, these two were more than ready to get married! We especially love how they were able to include our bride’s daughter, Noel. Even though Tom isn’t Noel’s biological father he’s been in her life since she was 9 months old. So this was truly a meaningful occasion for them all!
Interesting enough our groom was actually born on Oahu and moved off island when he was four. He said coming here for their Maui Venue Wedding felt a little like a homecoming and sweet remembrance of his childhood. Their vows were straight from the deepest part of their soul and their love overfilled to each other and everyone around them! Tears were shed, hearts were full and joy was ecstatic for these two. Suzanne was just the happiness and most beautiful bride with a positive energy that was contagious and glowing for all of their loved ones to see!
To add to her radiance, she wore a turquoise bracelet from her grandmother who passed away March 10th, 2019. She even incorporated this same color in the rest of her wedding decor for a thoughtful final touch. We are thrilled we got to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Not only were they super in love, but they were also super fun. Even the story of how they met is great! These two connected while Brianne was bar tending 2 years ago. Marc walking into the bar with his boss at the time, who was present at the wedding. He saw Brianne and told his boss that he was gonna marry that woman someday! And that day finally happened on June 17, 2016 🙂 . And we are so glad we could be part of the planning process and witness it all take place!
Brianne always wanted a destination wedding and Maui was the perfect place for the start of their new adventure. I mean who wouldn’t want to say, “I do” in a setting like this? Not only was it the ideal spot for their ceremony but this couple also decided to have a Maui Trash the Dress session while here!
So they met back up with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, on their honeymoon. And we love all these photos of them together enjoying their first week as newlyweds! Another fun surprise Maui Vow Renewal! It was their last evening here, so Joi was looking forward to a sweet dinner with Mike, her husband of 29 years. She thought they were taking a quick detour to a beach nearby, but there was actually a surprise vow renewal waiting for her there! We can’t believe we got to be a part of such a special and romantic evening!
Mike was worried about keeping the secret from his wife, but he was a total champ! He planned this Maui Vow Renewal 2 weeks ahead of time and had to wait until the end of their vacation so that they could have it on their actual anniversary. We had to sneak in some calls and emails, but we got it all put together just in time! We helped Mike pick out the nicest details, a ceremony with Reverend Kuya, a special song with Wailau, and a tropical bouquet from Dellables.
The best detail of all was the love between Mike and Joi, who went back home to Arizona with such great memories of their time here! Here’s to many more years of happiness for these sweethearts! This couple originally booked their Maui Venue Wedding for last summer, but decided to wait a year and it was definitely worth the wait! Our Bride Vayda is a kindergarten teacher and wrapped up the school year the week before coming to Hawaii. So you can imagine how excited these two were to finally be heading to their wedding in paradise!
To make things even more exciting, Vayda and Adrian were also high school sweethearts! How cute is that? And we love that they decided to get married in Maui so their family could go on vacation, some of them for the first time ever! And so they could have the destination wedding they always wanted. Ironwoods Beach is one of our favorite locations for a Maui Destination Wedding, so we’re thrilled this couple chose this setting for their ceremony. After our bride’s best friend got married at this same spot a couple of years ago, Andrea knew she wanted to have her wedding here as well! And it’s easy to see why 🙂 .
