With only their adorable 20-month-old son in attendance, Hannah and Colby’s Hawaii Beach Elopement was filled to the brim with love and sunshine! On the shore of Poʻolenalena Beach, the weather was textbook “tropical goodness,” with soft skies and warm ocean breezes. It was truly a blessing to work with Hannah and Colby and their sweet son EJ to make this special day a reality.

In quite possibly the cutest entrance we’ve ever seen, baby EJ walked Hannah down the aisle (with a little help from Mom, of course). Wearing a form-fitting gown with bead threading and a mermaid-flair train, Hannah even had the Maui ocean temporarily pausing in its tracks. We loved her beachy hairstyle with a floral demi-circle to match her rustic Hawaiian bouquet.

Sporting a beige jacket and a cabana print button-up by Ralph Lauren, Colby looks right at home against the backdrop of palm trees and sweeping ocean views. And of course, in a blue coral-themed shirt and adorable rolled up pants to match his dad, EJ is the perfect little guest of honor. We love how professional he was in his role! How cute is that face?!

Hannah has her doctorate in psychology and has been taking a much-needed break to raise their sweet toddler. She recently accepted a position to work with kids with behavioral needs at the Yellowstone Academy in their home state of Montana!
Colby is a public affairs specialist for the US Department of Interior. He’s also studied media, produced short films, and worked as a photojournalist and video producer for the US Navy. His work has been published by news outlets like CNN and last year made the cover of The Economist Magazine!

Hannah and Colby’s “meet cute” is one of the best we’ve heard! Colby was visiting his brother-in-law’s tattoo shop when his brother-in-law snapped a photo of Colby and posted it on his own Facebook page. He told all of his followers that Colby was available and looking for love, and those interested should stop by the shop!
And who should walk through the door first but Hannah herself! She admits to seeing the post beforehand but SWEARS she had an appointment. She walked in expecting a tattoo on the skin and left with one on her heart as well. Beautiful impressions like these last a lifetime. Keep scrolling for more of this sweet family!

Mahalo, Hannah and Colby, for trusting us with your Hawaii beach elopement. It was a beautiful day, and we had a wonderful time sharing it with you and your cutie. We wish you only the best in the years ahead!

Imagine driving up to your Hawaii Venue Wedding in the MogWest version of the Morgan 3-wheeler, dressed to the nines, and with friends and family cheering you on. That’s exactly how Milorose and Kenji made their entrance! Does it get much cooler?! Together on the lawn of Gannon’s Restaurant in Wailea, Milorose and Kenji celebrated their love through marriage. This one is a must-see!

Following their roaring entrance, Milorose and Kenji stood together on the ceremonial lawn, with only south Maui’s sweeping views as their backdrop. Dressed in a two-piece gown with a lace crop-top, chiffon skirt, and a beachy up-do, Milorose easily outshone the posh designer cruiser!
Looking sleek himself, Kenji’s three-piece linen suit in aquamarine paired elegantly with his bride’s unique gown. With a Hawaii venue wedding ten years in the making, the emotions were running high. Keep scrolling for the sweet reactions!

Following the “I do’s”, we had to have one more look at that cruiser. Then, of course, a first dance on the shoreline! We took the short trip to Southside Beach with Milorose and Kenji, and there they celebrated with twirling, laughter, and a whole lot of gorgeous sunset shots!

Milorose works in consumer lending, while Kenji owns a bike shop. They love to bike, hike, and do anything outdoorsy. Their love story began when a mutual friend introduced them at a club while Kenji was working as a promoter.
Within months, the relationship was official, but it wasn’t until ten years later that Kenji booked a romantic hotel suite getaway and got down on his knee. Milorose mused, “Took him a while but he did it!” And in the end, that’s all that matters! It’s so clear that Milorose and Kenji have an unbreakable love that will last an eternity.

Congratulations, Milorose and Kenji! Thank you for choosing us to coordinate your Hawaii Venue Wedding. We wish you all the best in the years ahead!

Erin and John’s Destination Wedding in Maui may have been delayed five months, but it was still everything Hawaii wedding dreams are made of! With a cool island breeze, gentle sunlight, and friends and family cheering them on, saying “I do” doesn’t get better than this! The 5 Palms oceanfront lawn offered a sweeping view of the churning tides and leggy palms. Keep scrolling for all the sweet moments!

When Erin made her entrance, John’s ecstatic expression was hard to miss! Our own Reverend Kuya even offered a fist bump in celebration of the union. This is one of the biggest perks of a Destination Wedding in Maui–the fun atmosphere! It’s hard not to be joyous when you’re surrounded by the magic of the island, but add in the love of your life, and it’s pure elation!

Erin is a dental hygienist and John is a personal trainer and health coach. In their free time, you can find these two traveling, exercising, hiking, or cuddling with their golden retriever Leo. Erin and John attended the same high school, but didn’t end up meeting each other until after graduating college–love is tricky like that!

John proposed in March of last year, right around his birthday. He told Erin they were going out to dinner with just his family. But of course, that was only half of it! John had secretly invited her family to witness the proposal. And, as they say, the rest is history!

Mahalo nui loa, Erin and John, for choosing us to coordinate your Destination Wedding in Maui! We had a wonderful time getting to know you and your loved ones! We wish you all the adventures and happiness in the years ahead!

After a special proposal in 2020, Erica and Brian wanted something small, and since they were heading to the island already, they thought “Why not a beach wedding in Maui!” We think they made a great decision! The golden morning flooded Po’olenalena beach with vibrant light and all the warm, tropical vibes Hawaii is known for. The only thing outshining the sun? This beautiful couple!

Po’olenalena Beach features a seemingly endless stretch of golden sand. When it comes to the rich hues of a truly golden shore, it doesn’t get much better than Po’olenalena. Situated on the island’s southern coast, this beach is perfect for both morning and sunset weddings. With a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and plenty of natural features for photo opportunities, Po’olenalena is the perfect backdrop for a big day. Just look at how vibrant Erica and her father look on the shoreline!

Erica is a territory manager for an insurance company, and Brian works as a painting contractor. They love cuddling with their pitbull Layla and traveling the world to see new places. They recently put a pin on their map when they visited the Key West during the fall of 2020.

While they were at the Southernmost Point of the continental US, with 50 people in the line behind them waiting to see the landmark, Brain dropped down to one knee and opened the ring box. When telling the story, Erica said, “I. WAS. SHOCKED. It’s hard to surprise me, but mission accomplished!” Luckily a kind stranger in the line behind them captured it all on camera! And the rest of the story is right here on the blog!

Thank you, Erica and Brian, for trusting us to coordinate your Beach Wedding in Maui. It was a blessed day, just like your love story! We wish you all the very best in the years ahead!

Jessica and Darin said “I do” with a Hawaii Venue Wedding at the 5 Palms in Wailea. Rain is a sacred blessing in Hawaii, and when it graces your wedding day, it’s said to represent a lush and strong marriage. The covered lanai at the 5 Palms served as a gorgeous indoor venue with bungalow-inspired architecture and a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean. After Maui sent her blessing, the sun peaked out and Jessica and Darin had their first dance as a married couple right there on the beach!

Our couple met eight years ago through work, with Darin working as a graphic designer and Jessica as an Executive Assistant. Maui is a special place for Jessica and Darin–after all, it’s where they took their first vacation together! It’s little wonder why they chose Maui to be the location for their Hawaii venue wedding. There’s even been talk of settling down on the island, to which we say… Aloha!
When the time was right, Jessica and Darin became engaged by the river at his parents’ home. You can find them relaxing and enjoying themselves here nearly every other weekend. Surrounded by a literal dessert, this body of water is beyond special and seems to further represent the strength of Jessica and Darin’s marriage, just look at those genuine expressions of love! Keep scrolling for the spectacular beach shots!

Thank you, Jessica and Darin, for trusting us to coordinate your Hawaii Venue Wedding. We wish you all the happiness in the years ahead. And we look forward to seeing you on Maui again sometime in the near future!

We could not get enough of the smiles and laughter during Shannon and Troy’s Maui Micro Wedding! Southside Beach set the stage, and Shannon and Troy brought the newlywed magic! With only four special guests looking on, this was the perfect wedding day for a small-town couple.

Escorted by her father, Shannon made her debut on the Maui shore as Reverend Kuya blew the traditional Hawaiin conch shell. Troy’s first look was nothing but joy! Wearing a lace applique gown with endless drapery, Shannon is the incarnation of beauty. We love her bold skin art and elegant accessories. In fact, Shannon’s father designed and created her earrings and Troy’s wedding ring! What a beautiful way to create heirlooms that will be treasured for generations.

Shannon and Troy have known each other since the sixth grade, but it wasn’t until they were nineteen and working together when things took a romantic turn. After realizing they had plenty in common (including a mutual attraction!), Troy planned a romantic dinner for their first date. Six years and two wonderful boys later, and their Maui Micro Wedding became a reality!
Hailing from a small town in Oregon (population 2,000), Shannon and Troy felt a small wedding in Maui was the perfect way to solidify their union. With limited stress and endless tropical bliss to indulge in, Shannon and Troy were enjoying their wedding plus vacation combo! Keep scrolling for more of this beautiful couple!

What do you get four years after Amber and Nolan walked into a bar? A gorgeous Micro Wedding in Hawaii! A glowing sunset, crashing waves, and a couple who positively glowed with love were the defining features of this beach wedding on Ironwoods. Amber and Nolan’s original wedding plan was to tie the knot in Vegas and honeymoon in the islands. But they soon realized they could get married AND honeymoon in Hawaii at the same time! We’re thrilled they decided to go with Plan B (Which everyone knows stands for “Plan Beach-wedding”)!

Amber’s son walked her down the steps to the shore, where Nolan waited with the biggest, most genuine smile. Dressed in a goddess gown with lace and elegant draping, Amber was a radiant beach bride. We love how the wild orchid woven into her delicate flower crown adds a burst of blush and plum. Nolan wore a simple button-down with gray slacks and a blush-colored tie to match his bride’s florals. The soft hues looked dreamy against the white sand and turquoise ocean.

Reverend Kuya opened the ceremony by blowing the conch shell, but a different special someone officiated the wedding. Tying Amber and Nolan together in holy matrimony was none other than Susan, the owner of the bar they met in! Talk about going above and beyond for your favorite patrons!

Following their beautiful Micro Wedding in Hawaii, Amber and Nolan took the walkway up to the cliffs of Ironwoods. Keep scrolling for all the soft and romantic couples portraits in Maui!

With over a decade of love beneath their wings, Kelli & Jordan glided into a beautiful marriage with a simple and elegant Beach Wedding in Maui. Ironwoods Beach set the scene with rolling waves and rocky backdrops. The island sent her blessing with a steady breeze that caused all sorts of playful mischief and showcased the flow of Kelli’s lace gown (and Jordan’s maile lei!). It was a very special day filled with deep love and genuine friendship.

Ironwoods is one of the most rustic beach locations Maui has to offer. Situated on the western shore in Kapalua, it features white sands, deep blue oceans, and dramatic cliffsides. The sky was slightly overcast during Kelli and Jordan’s beach wedding in Maui, but the weather held out and added to the rustic tropical atmosphere.

Kelli and Jordan met during their sophomore year in high school. Even though they attended different schools, they somehow managed to find each other. Love is crafty like that! Jordan knew a few of Kelli’s friends through baseball and they hit it off quickly over the phone.
Kelli was so charmed with him, that she asked Jordan to homecoming before they’d even met in person! When you know, ya know! And clearly, Kelli knew! These two will be celebrating eleven years together this October! You can’t miss the love, affection, and friendship beaming from these smiles!

Following the ceremony, Kelli and Jordan tossed petals into the ocean in honor and remembrance of Jordan’s late father. It was a beautiful moment.

How sweet are these two?! Kelli looks exquisite in a form-fitting lace gown from Lulu’s. Her flower crown and rustic Hawaiian bouquet fit perfectly on the wild shores of Ironwoods. Keep scrolling for all the wedding day sweetness!

This Pennsylvania couple is as sweet as they come! Not only were they a dream to work with while planning their beach elopement in Maui, but they also thoughtfully brought chocolate bars from their home state for their vendor team. Now that’s next-level sweetness!
Jennifer and Michael chose a morning ceremony for their Maui elopement ceremony. We love this option as it is typically cooler, the beaches are far less busy and then you have the whole day to enjoy together as a married couple! Elopements are all about breaking the rules and doing whatever you want, who says you have to go to dinner after your ceremony? Maybe a morning snorkel would be even more special!

Just look at how giddy these two are to get married, we just adore their chemistry.

Jennifer looked stunning in her Adrianna Papell illusion back dress from Madame Bridal in Boynton Beach Florida

Another great thing about an elopement? You can splash and have fun without worrying about heading to your reception dripping wet. We love that these two didn’t mind letting loose a bit and having fun on the beach. Plus, it’s refreshing after being in the sun! 🙂

This sweet Brooklyn couple traveled long and far with many restrictions in place in order to make their dream Maui elopement a reality! Getting to Maui is no easy task with all our regulations but for anyone willing to put in the work, we are so thankful to have them! We feel blessed to have been a part of Stephanie & Murad’s Maui wedding!
Murad’s favorite band is Counting Crows and he always knew he’d love a girl who loves Counting Crows just as much as he does. When he came across a profile on OkCupid that listed her favorite band as Counting Crows he had to send Stephanie a message! He was so excited that he sent her a novel long message and somewhere in there asking what her favorite song was. She replied with 2 words “favorite song ?? ;)” If it wasn’t for the winky face he would have thought it a lost cause! Obviously it wasn’t a lost cost, it was a means to a deeper connection. To think this is where they are today is pure joy!!

Stephanie and Murad shared sweet personal vows the expressed just how perfect of a match they are. We adore their Vow Books and enjoyed every minute of their words to each other.

Our cake package offers a sweet treat on your wedding day while capturing the traditional ‘cake cutting’ pictures.

We are so honored to have been a part of your Maui elopement Stephanie & Murad! Thank you for making the long journey and celebrating with your toes in the sand!! We hope to see you in Maui again soon!

After helping their niece elope here a few years ago, Amber & Stephen were inspired to have their own unforgettable vow renewal on Maui. Married for over 17 years, this couple wanted a celebration that was special and meaningful yet still fun and casual. And we think their Big Day was that and then some!
Amber & Stephen first said “I do” in a courthouse and felt the rustic shore of Ironwoods was the perfect place to say “I do again.” With heavy rains forecasted, our couple was happily surprised to be greeted with a glistening ocean and warm sands on the morning of their celebration.

We love how Amber tossed the classic white dress aside and showed off her spunk with a bold print of cascading blues! And with Stephen decked in a casual polo and shorts to match, this couple is ready for a Maui style celebration!
Residing on the Garden Ilse for part of the year, our couple knows how to stay comfortable on the shoreside. Although the time they spend on Maui is becoming less and less now that they have two sweet grandbabies!

And speaking of sweet, their little girl Mia joined the party, offering some congratulatory kisses of her own.

Sometimes, the love is so bright, you need a good pair of shades!

Mahalo nui loa, Amber & Stephen, for choosing us to coordinate your awesome vow renewal on Maui. We hope you enjoyed your breakfast at the Plantation in Kapalua, and we wish you all the very best in the years ahead…

Overlooking Wailea, the grassy terrace set the stage for Ashley & Robert’s airy and elegant Gannon’s wedding on Maui. The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony: overcast skies with soft, romantic lighting and a cool breeze that drifted up from the ocean.
Shades of purple were the colors of choice for this vibrant young couple. After visiting Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm, Ashley and Robert fell in love with the subtle hues and wanted to weave the soft color palette into their Special Day. And the result? Beauty for ages!

Robert looked on-point in a dusky lavender tie and a violet boutonniere.
And their adorable (and very good girl) Chloe joined the party while sporting an extra stylish purple hair ribbon. Which was just the cutest thing! Who’s a pretty girl?

Ashley is! We love this shot of pure joy on Robert’s face as he watches his bride walk down the aisle. Keep scrolling for all of the heartwarming moments!

After our beautiful couple said “I do,” we traveled down to the white sandy shore of Southside beach. These two newlyweds have a special connection to the Wailea cost… It was about a year and a half ago, on the shore of Po’olenalena, where Robert asked Ashley to be his wife.
And to make it something of a tradition, they hoped to visit as many Maui beaches as possible during their stay… in fact, Southside was the beach they’d planned on visiting next! It worked out perfectly… and speaking of perfection, we can’t get over how amazing these Maui couples portraits came out!
