All The Right Details

Anton & Daria found the perfect balance between simplicity and glamour for their wedding in Maui. Hoping to ease any last-minute jitters, they had a private first look before beginning their ceremony. We loved how that turned out! They were able to share a few moments of quiet time, and take in each other’s beauty before joining their guests at the beach.

Of course Karma Hill Photography was there to capture it all!

A dear friend walked Daria down the aisle to Anton, and then Kahu Sean led them through a heartfelt, Hawaiian-inspired ceremony.

After they had shared emotional vows and exchanged their rings and lei, they officially became husband and wife! The joy was palpable, and their guests were in great spirits as they celebrated with the newlyweds.

The fun was only just beginning, though! We helped create a mini reception on the beach as part of their wedding in Maui. Everyone enjoyed live ukulele and hula as Anton & Daria cut their wedding cake, all while being only steps away from the ocean.

Manutea Nui E provided incredible Hawaiian entertainment, and the musician played a song so that Anton & Daria could have their first dance on the beach. What a sweet memory! Keep scrolling to see how glowing and happy everyone was during each moment!

When Ally & Isaiah decided to elope in Maui, they knew they wanted it to be special. But that didn’t mean it needed to be complicated. This kind, vibrant couple understands the value of simplicity. The two of them dressed up in a beautiful location, some incredible Hawaii wedding photography, tropical flowers, and the natural magic of Maui — what more do you need?

So during a relaxing, fun-filled vacation, Ally & Isaiah met at a quiet beach and became husband & wife.

“With This Ring”

Rev. Robert “Kuya” Alamodin officiated Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony. He helped them Elope in Maui by providing a heartfelt Hawaiian-inspired ceremony on the shores of Poʻolenalena Beach. He announced the bride’s arrival by blowing his Pu (conch shell) and offered a Hawaiian Blessing.

Ally & Isaiah’s ceremony featured the traditional ring exchange and the island lei exchange. We love how they had a mix of customs — this way, they could enjoy the ceremony moments they always dreamed of and the ones unique to Hawaii.

They even included a cake cutting on the beach. This was a great way to have those cute reception moments in their simple seaside elopement.

Ally & Isaiah were glowing through each moment of their wedding. Seeing their bliss could convince anyone to elope in Maui too!

Where to Elope in Maui: Poʻolenalena Beach

Poʻolenalena Beach was a beautiful location for Ally & Isaiah’s Maui beach elopement. This scenic stretch of sand is located in Makena. There are lava rock formations, lush greenery, a rustic wooded area, and amazing views of Kahoʻolawe and Molokini in the distance.

A light cloud cover helped make their photos extra dreamy. A lot of time, when couples plan to elope in Maui, they dream of bright sunny skies. But Ally & Isaiah’s wedding proves that there’s a unique beauty even on cloudy days.

Plus, these two sweethearts brought all the light we needed!

Jamie and Danielle met one other because they both have a passion for fitness and healthy living. They connected and got to know one another as friends, even though they lived in different states. Eventually, they got to a place where they could invest time and build a strong friendship. Our passionate pair felt comfortable confiding in each other and being openly honest. After five years, our charming couple took a leap of faith and went on a date. Jamie and Danielle say it’s the best decision they’ve ever made!

Why They Had A Destination Wedding in Maui

In the summer of 2019, Jamie and Danielle visited Maui — they instantly fell in love with the island and everything they’d experienced! Once they left, they felt this spot would be their special place. When Jamie and Danielle imagined their wedding, they knew they wanted it to be a celebration focused on the love and support they get. They knew an intimate ceremony in a destination they adore would be a magical way to tie the knot!

Danielle says the moment she got engaged was kind of a surprise, but not really. Our beautiful bride picked out her ring. However, Jamie got to propose during fall — his favorite time of the year! Our handsome groom popped the question on a historic, scenic high bridge in their hometown. Since Danielle is so cerebral, Jamie created multiple plans and layers to set up so she wouldn’t know it was coming!

Why We Adore Their Maui Beach Wedding

Reverend Kuya was the officiant for this event. Although there were no personal vows, every word of his sermon was heartwarming. Not to mention, you can tell Alexis and Cody adored it! In every shot captured by Karma Hill Photography, they smiled brightly and shared affectionate looks.

However, our favorite part of this sunset occasion was the cake cutting! Since this was Alexis and Cody’s first experience as husband and wife, we knew it would be unforgettable. Our radiant newlyweds were glowing blissfully — you could tell they were savoring this memory. Then their guests were thrilled as they enjoyed the sparkling toast and group photos. They joined in on the celebration and had joyful grins on their faces the entire time! Above all, it was amazing to see how much love and support Alexis and Cody had from their families!

Alexis and Cody have known one another for over a decade! Initially, they met while working together at the same restaurant. Currently, they have a beautiful home they share with two kids. They also have a few cats, a dog, and some chickens!

Our Couple’s Story

Ashley and Martin first met one another in their College Algebra class! Then, when the time was right, Martin asked her to be his girlfriend at Huntington Beach. Five years later, Martin popped the question to Ashley in the same spot. Our bride says the proposal was simple and sweet! They even captured this moment by using a tripod to take pictures after!

However, we can’t help but notice how perfect it was they had a Hawaii wedding! Our adventurous couple loves to be outdoors. Whether it’s backpacking up a mountain or relaxing on the beach — they enjoy spending time with one another in nature! Our Couple’s Story

Our gorgeous couple met one another on the first day of their new job with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. They instantly clicked during their four months at the academy. Since then, they’ve been inseparable! In 2019, they got engaged in Houston, Texas. Currently, they’ve been together for six years! They’re both U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stationed in South Texas. When they’re not working, you can find them traveling and trying different foods. This ceremony started beautifully! Gregory was standing on the shore by the wedding officiant, Kahu Euta. Once all the guests were comfortable, the entrances began. First to walk out was Kate, the maid of honor, and Brian, the best man. Following them were the two precious flower girls. The last to walk down the beach was Whitney. Her father, John, was by her side and a pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet from Dellables was in her hands!

Our Couple’s Story

Whitney and Gregory first connected at a work Christmas party. At the time, Gregory was working with Whitney’s mom at the same physical therapy company. After a few months of dating, Whitney eventually began working at the same firm in the marketing department.

Our beautiful couple enjoys being adventurous, so a Maui beach wedding was perfect for them! In their free time, you can find them hiking, going to the seaside, or walking their two dogs. When they’re not outside, they’ll spend time at home playing video games!

The weather was clear; there was light cloud coverage, and the sun was shining vibrantly in the sky. Surrounding our charming duo are striking lava rocks, graceful azure waves, and lofty palm trees. Most importantly, when the sun began to set, it left a dreamy glow on the shore — enhancing the romantic ambiance!

Marcus started the ceremony off by standing by the minister, Reverend Kuya. When it was time for entrances, the ring-bearer walked out first then the two flower girls were right behind him. Finally, Barbe made her grand entrance and walked down the shore with her father by her side! After this stunning couple became husband and wife, they had their first dance. This pair decided to have Manutea Nui E play ‘Over The Rainbow’ for this moment because it was Barbie’s grandma’s favorite song.

Taylor and Miranda decided to elope in Maui, and it was an intimate event! The soft sunset was hanging in the sky, and Po’olenalena Beach was peaceful. Above all, our gorgeous couple will never forget their first time in Hawaii! They spent their first moments as husband and wife here. Now, we know this island will always be their special place! Our beautiful couple arrived at the beach separately. Taylor began the ceremony standing at the sandy seaside with Reverend Kuya. Our groom’s slate gray suit, white bowtie, and flower boutonniere create a classic and sophisticated look together! Then, when the time was right, Miranda walked down the shoreline. She is exquisite in her bohemian wedding gown! We love how she’s wearing a pastel flower crown — the floral arrangement matches her custom bouquet by Dellables perfectly!

Why They Eloped in Maui

Taylor and Miranda wanted to have a tranquil and romantic getaway. While planning their special day, they decided to combine their wedding and honeymoon. It was as if everything fell into place for them when they found Simple Maui Wedding! Most importantly, our lovely duo made their first trip to Hawaii memorable. Not only did they tie the knot here, but they also got to explore the island as a married couple!

The lofty palm trees, dramatic greenery, and striking lava rocks created a stunning landscape. However, our favorite thing about these portraits is how our passionate pair has a newlywed glow of their own! Taylor and Miranda met while attending high school and have been dating for nine years. This adventurous duo enjoys traveling and attending events — we’re glad one of their journeys was to elope in Maui!
