As Ry and Samir gathered with their closest friends and family for their Maui Beach Wedding we knew this would be a day to remember! Especially since this couple hadn’t seen some of their loved ones in a long time. With Samir being in the military moving a lot comes with the territory. And Ry has always been the best partner for him, supporting him no matter what! Even though they actually got married a few years ago, our groom knew his bride deserved a very special wedding and he had an amazing day planned for her!

Ry and Samir are originally from Washington and are true nature lovers, so they had a lot of appreciation for Maui and the beautiful ocean. They truly fit right in! And although they dream of being stationed in Texas one day who knows maybe they will end up in Hawaii! Or at least back for a visit 🙂 . We were honored to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Especially since Sarah and Justin are no stranger to the wedding industry. Our groom is a DJ and owns his own sound studio, how cool is that? In fact, moments before their ceremony started, Justin and their ukulele player, Jimi, were singing together to a few tunes! Sarah is a makeup artist and works on brides all the time. So she understood how stressful a wedding day could be. But she left her worries to us and was all smiles the whole day. She loved every part of her wedding day!

To make their Maui Destination Wedding even more special were all the little details they included as thoughtful touches! We especially love the bracelets they added to their wedding attire. These bracelets were a gift from friends who couldn’t make it to their wedding and the coordinates reflect the exact spot they got married! Prior to their Maui Venue Wedding, this bride and groom have been together since 8th grade! We love that their story has been going on for so long! We can’t think of a better start to our day than a Maui Venue Wedding at Gannon’s! This location is a favorite because of the beautiful scenery and view. I mean just look at it! Now that’s what we call a paradise setting. We’ll never get tired of how gorgeous Maui is, it’s obvious why so many couples want to get married here and we feel so lucky to be part of their wedding day!

One of the best parts of this Maui Venue Wedding was when our bride and groom shared their first dance as husband and wife immediately following their ceremony. As they danced to “All of Me” by John Legend, it was easy to see that they make each other incredibly happy! We could not have asked for a more beautiful morning for this Maui Beach Wedding! From the gorgeous light to the epic location, it was picture perfect. The beach underwent high tides, which created a completely different Po’olenalena Beach for Macy and Luis’ wedding ceremony! It was so pretty and made for a much more dramatic setting.

The setting wasn’t all that took our breath away though, Macy was absolutely radiant and rocked her form-fitting wedding dress with ease! We love that everyone was dressed nicely, including her younger brother Ramsay who was also the cutest little ring bearer 🙂 . After saying, “I do” our newlyweds were excited to share a few laughs while taking wedding portraits. We especially love this image of Luis lifting his bride up as Macy threw her hands in the air! So cute! We love these two so much that it was hard to say goodbye, as we parted ways they headed to the Mill House for a memorable reception. How fun! We love everything about this Maui Venue Wedding! These two traveled the globe to find each other and we are so glad they did! Amy is from Canada and Aaron’s from Australia. They met in London while they were both traveling alone. When we asked why they chose Maui to get married, they had two reasons. First, they hadn’t been here before. And second, it’s a half way point between Canada and Australia where both families could meet 🙂 .

It was especially darling to see their cute 2 year old, Arlon, participate in their Maui Venue Wedding. He seriously was so cute and funny! After the ceremony he celebrated by tossing flower petals and running around the lawn with his aunts and uncles. Katie and Adicus were so laid back at their Maui Elopement. They met a year ago, and after a month of dating knew they wanted to marry each other. Ana and Rodolfo were surrounded by loved ones at their Maui Beach Wedding! It was especially touching to witness as their 8-year-old daughter participated in the festivities as their flower girl. The morning started off in an impressive manner with the groom showing up early and so calm, the bride showed up right on time and was also calm! It’s obvious these two share a deep love and have complete confidence in each other and the future ahead!

They enjoyed their Maui Beach Wedding so much they even told us they would love to live here one day, and are excited to make plans to visit some of the other islands 🙂 . They tried to get in as much as they could while here on vacation, including driving the road to Hana and lots of snorkeling! These newlyweds and their wedding guests (including the groom’s sons and their daughter) were such a relaxed group, we loved getting to know them all.
