Melanie and Eric’s Maui Destination Wedding was filled with so much love and beauty at one of the island’s best venues, The Steeple House. It really is an enchanting venue and we are obsessed with these princess like photos of Melanie in the bridal suite! I mean what bride wouldn’t dream of getting ready in a setting like this?
It was so touching to see this couple surrounded by family members and friends at their Maui Destination Wedding! After the ceremony everyone shared a toast and traditional cake cutting. We love that they were able to head back inside to get away from the heat, which is just another reason why this venue is so wonderful!
We loved watching our newlyweds celebrate with loved ones before heading off to the beach for some romantic wedding portraits. All in all this was a truly memorable day and we are so glad we could be part of it! So thank you, Melanie and Eric, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding. With just their parents present at their Maui Elopement, Kary and Ben had a truly intimate ceremony at Maluaka Beach. We especially love that they hired Stephan Boker to live streamed their wedding so their family and friends from all over the world could participate from afar! It was so fun to see them wave hello to everyone after the ceremony and thank them for their support.
Cake Cutting Ceremony
The bride and groom also decided to include a traditional cake cutting ceremony at their Maui Elopement, and Kary even mentioned how good it was! Tasty and beautiful, win win 🙂 . Afterwards they braved the morning sunshine with no wind and took some amazing couple portraits with our sister company.
Kary handled the weather gracefully and was excited to get into the AC back at the resort. No matter the summer heat when a couple looks at their wedding photos and remember their special day, it won’t be the heat they remember but the love they exchanged and absolutely beautiful backdrop they were able to have for their special day!

Being part of this bride and groom’s Maui Morning Elopement was an absolute blast! We seriously can’t think of a better way to start our day! Alyson and Joshua arrived together, but she waited to change into her dress until getting to Kanaha Beach so they could still have the special moment when he saw her for the first time. And that smile on his face says it all!
These two got engaged on a beach at sunrise in Georgia and knew they wanted to say “I do” with the sand between their toes. And we are so glad they chose to have a Maui Morning Elopement! Plus we couldn’t have asked for a better day, it was seriously amazing. Just see for yourself!
After taking beautiful portraits with our sister company, these newlyweds enjoyed a relaxing day with lunch at Mama’s and then back to the beach for some snorkeling and fun in the sun. Louisse and Nicholas met earlier this year and are planning a big formal wedding, but before that they wanted an intimate Maui elopement. So we are so glad we were able to help make this beautiful day a reality for them! And we couldn’t have asked for a better morning for their ceremony.

We loved helping Marissa and Travis plan their Steeple House Maui Wedding, especially since they got engaged while visiting Maui last year! And we absolutely love how Travis proposed. He decided to be adventurous and pop the question while repelling at a waterfall in Hana. Sounds amazing right?! But just as he was about to pull out the ring, he dropped it! He somehow managed to find it (without her noticed) and proposed away! What a great story!
The Steeple House
Besides having an epic love story, these two also had an absolutely epic wedding day! They wisely chose to get married at The Steeple House, which is one of our favorite venues for so many reasons. The first being that it has a beautiful bridal suite perfect for getting ready just prior to the ceremony! We love this because we know the last thing a bride wants is for her wedding dress to get wrinkled in a car ride. Plus it’s always nice to put on a few finishing touches before seeing the groom :).
Another reason we love this venue is the outdoor setting is out of this world! With majestic views from all sides, it really is an incredible place to say, “I do”. It’s also conveniently located right by one of the best beaches for wedding portraits! And we love that these newlyweds were able to head down for a few photos before heading on their merry way.

We were thrilled when this couple reached out to us last week to see if we could coordinate a Maui Beach Elopement for them in just two days! And while this was short notice, we knew we could do it 🙂 . Plus we were so excited to be part of such a sweet and special occasion for Shauna and Jonathan!
Vacation turned Elopement
After being together for 5 years, these two were so excited to get married! In fact, they actually are in the process of planning a big wedding at home but when they got to Maui on vacation Jonathan suggested eloping! So they quickly found us on yelp and got everything figured out within days.
At the end of their ceremony, they planted a sprouted coco in the brush near the spot they got married. How fun is that?! They even told us that they plan to return each year to check its growth! We love this idea and can’t wait for them to come back in 2020. In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye on their little sprout in their absence.

After meeting on Tinder and starting a family together, this couple was so excited for their Maui Destination Wedding! And they chose a beautiful location for it. Mariela and Jason decided to get married at Po’olenalena Beach because of the forest there. Which was not only amazing in real life but also looked incredible in their wedding photos!
Mariela and Jason’s Maui Destination Wedding took place the same day Hurricane Erick rained on Maui. So while it started out drizzling, it quickly turned into a beautifully soft-lit morning! One of our favorite parts of this wedding was how our bride and groom included their beautiful daughter in the festivities. She looked so cute being held by Mariela during the ceremony and even had a little flower crown to match her mama! How sweet is that?!

This bride and groom were so fun to work with for their Maui Venue Wedding! They were really excited to get married and just have a good relaxing time. Which we love! It was easy to see by the expressions on their faces during the ceremony that they make each other incredibly happy. And we especially love how ecstatic their wedding guests were as they celebrated these two being pronounced husband and wife!
Prior to their reception starting our sister company snuck off with these recently newlyweds to take the most gorgeous wedding portraits! We plan so many special ceremonies, but Cristina and David’s Maui Destination Wedding was extra special because it’s their second time marrying each other! These two were marred for 20 years before life happened and they went their separate ways. Thankfully life brought them back together, and we can tell that their love is stronger than ever! Their ceremony was the perfect way to celebrate their family uniting again!
It was a beautiful morning at Ironwoods Beach, and their family dressed in tropical pastels that looked perfect with the bright blue water and white sandy beach. Their children walked Cristina to her handsome groom and Kahu Ernest led them in heart-felt vows and a blessing. After the I-Do’s it was time for family pictures, which was so much fun with their wild family. This was their first morning on Maui so they were excited to start their vacation! We are so thankful we got to plan this Maui Destination Wedding and are so excited for the next chapter of Cristina and David’s life together! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

We are thrilled we got to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Not only were they super in love, but they were also super fun. Even the story of how they met is great! These two connected while Brianne was bar tending 2 years ago. Marc walking into the bar with his boss at the time, who was present at the wedding. He saw Brianne and told his boss that he was gonna marry that woman someday! And that day finally happened on June 17, 2016 🙂 . And we are so glad we could be part of the planning process and witness it all take place!
Brianne always wanted a destination wedding and Maui was the perfect place for the start of their new adventure. I mean who wouldn’t want to say, “I do” in a setting like this? Not only was it the ideal spot for their ceremony but this couple also decided to have a Maui Trash the Dress session while here!
So they met back up with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, on their honeymoon. And we love all these photos of them together enjoying their first week as newlyweds! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to start our day than with a Maui Beach Elopement! And these grooms are couple goals for sure. Ashton and Kent are southern boys raised in rural North Carolina. They attended the same college but didn’t meet until Ashton moved to Kent’s home county to teach. Ashton teaches chorus and drama while Kent teaches english at the local high schools. They both love music, plays and drama and their English Bulldog, Shoal. And even though he couldn’t be at their ceremony in person our sister company photoshopped a photo of Shoal onto the beach as an added bonus! How cool is that?!
Whenever they go to weddings they judge the desserts so they had to have cake at their Maui Beach Elopement even though it was just the two of them! When we got to Po’olenalena Beach we thought it might rain but the sun quickly came out and we never saw even a drop of rain. Watching as they exchanged personal vows to each other was the sweetest thing! The love they share is truly inspiring.
