What struck us most as we walked down to Southside Beach for a few more portraits of their Maui venue wedding was how clearly in love they are with each other! Our newlyweds met at work three years ago and became friends…although clearly there was something more!

They are completely lost in each other’s eyes in these photos…Jessica looks radiant with the long veil flowing behind her in the ocean breeze, don’t you think? It completely added an extra element of romance to the tropical setting…

Can you imagine meeting the love of your life at 15 years old? These two can! Courtney and Sadiq met at a conference when they were 15 years old; years later, they are now getting married at their Maui venue wedding! Please keep reading to re-live their incredible day!

So our beautiful couple attended a leadership conference and reconnected ten years later! Once they reconnected, they immediately knew it was happily ever after… Courtney calls it divine timing!

Their beautiful son joined his proud parents at the altar too! It was a lovely family moment…

The moment when they exchanged their vows felt like a dream! The light was so soft and romantic as it filtered through the bamboo arch on the grassy lawn at Gannon’s. These photos feel so enchanting!

And their sweet little boy wanted to be back in Papa’s arms as soon as possible! So sweet.

They were surrounded by their big, loving families who were ecstatic about their Maui venue wedding! But first, our newlyweds went down to Southside Beach for a few intimate portraits…and these quite possibly are our favorites of the day!

The sky was a surreal peachy pink that was so flattering in these photos! They cherished these moments as the sun set in the sky…Courtney looks gorgeous in her flowy beachy wedding dress! And Sadiq is equally sharp in his classic black-and-white look!

In the shimmering sun, our beautiful couple’s ceremony was held on the grassy lawn at Gannon’s in Kihei. This location, in particular, is our favorite for epic sunset moments and views!

Lastly, let’s talk about that arch! We love its beach yet elegantly tropical feel – it added that extra special touch to their thoughtful ceremony!

Joined with their friends and family, our newlyweds can officially say they are “Just Maui’d!” As much as we praise smaller weddings, we also love how lively and fun a large group can be! We can’t decide which we like better!?

Needless to say, their guests were happy to make the journey to our island to celebrate with our happy newlyweds!

As they exchanged their heartfelt vows, we couldn’t stop staring at the explosion of color from the tropical arch at the altar! The peaches, pinks, corals, and lemon were the perfect tropical confection that suited Bianca’s bouquet beautifully! Our sweet newlyweds’ Maui venue wedding had the fun, colorful flair of the Hawaiian islands, which made it a joy to photograph…

The venue for their Maui wedding was the grassy knoll at Gannon’s in Kihei. We love this location because it has panoramic ocean views that add to the Hawaiian ambiance! With the tropical arch, swaying palm trees, and ocean views these two had it all!

Showered with heartfelt congratulations and a few tears, we wanted to capture a few portraits of our tropical bride Bianca. She looked exquisite in her creamy, flowy gown! Oveld is one lucky guy!

Oveld’s dusky purple-hued three-piece suit matched the sunset that followed too! We love it when our grooms are bold in their color choices!

“I believe that I have found my person; not everyone gets to say that,” Madison told us before her Maui venue wedding. These two were meant for each other from the start! We were so happy to photograph their wedding recently that we wanted to share a few highlights from their amazing day!

The day began with their fabulous wedding parties getting ready! We love the soft lavender color of the bridesmaid’s dresses, and the groomsmen’s ties matched perfectly! The atmosphere around the room was full of excitement and nerves, as you can believe!

When our beautiful bride was dressed in her sparkling gown, her handsome groom was ready to see her for the first look! This was such a precious moment; the look on Peter’s face was priceless… Madison was radiant! They were ready for the ceremony to begin!

Adventure Awaits

Our beautiful brides are a dual military couple who love to hike, camp, fish, and adventure in the great outdoors! They love spending quality time together – it’s lovely to see how much they enjoy the same activities! Amanda’s family is native Chamorro from Guam, actually! Destiny is from the mainland, so it was a real treat for her family to visit Hawaii, as you can imagine. We rarely meet people who wouldn’t want a holiday in Maui! So Hawaii was the perfect location to meet halfway in the middle for their Maui venue wedding!

There were many tears and laughs during their initmate ceremony. Our beautiful couple were showered with love, warmth, and well wishes the entire day!

Our gorgeous pair opted for traditional Hawaiian leis of white orchids – so elegant!

They dreamed of a modern, simple, and relaxed Maui venue wedding, and we think they got just that! For their ceremony, they chose the grassy lawn of Gannon’s. We love this location in particular because it was sweeping views of South Maui and the ocean, as you can see! Its privacy also made it a prime choice for our gorgeous brides…

After the warm wishes of congratulations from their friends and family, we walked to a secluded area to capture their first married moments!

Since they haven’t explored Hawaii, this was an extraordinary occasion for our newlyweds! We love that they embraced their stunning wedding gowns’ easy, breezy look. The flowing nature and tropical details made them look like ethereal goddesses! As they walked hand in hand, they were so happy to start their new life together with many adventures ahead!

Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, our couple tied the knot with the deep blue in the distance. We couldn’t be happier to capture these precious first moments as husband and wife! Their Love Story

Our charming couple, originally from the Bay area, recently moved to Sacramento with their furry family. These two love spending quality time together hiking, running, and all things active! So it’s no wonder they love Maui so much! Believe it or not, Jayme answered an ad on Craigslist which was looking for a bassist in a rock band, and Ray was the guitarist! The rest is history, as you can see!

Jayme was entirely surprised when Ray popped the question on her birthday in Napa by the water – so romantic! So naturally, we are curious to know the proposal story behind our couples; each one warms our hearts! They have been to Maui several times as a couple and with friends and family but never considered it as a location for their wedding until a friend suggested it, funnily enough! It felt like a natural fit for them both, and we couldn’t agree more!

Our newlyweds chose Gannon’s in Kihei for their intimate Maui venue wedding. With sweeping views of the ocean and a private lawn, this is an ideal location for panoramic views of the island. It was many of their friends and family’s first time visiting Hawaii too! They were a lively bunch with smiles all around!

After their private ceremony, our newlyweds walked hand in hand as husband and wife for the first time on Southside Beach. They couldn’t have asked for a more blissful morning! The morning light is one of our favorite times to shoot – the colors are soft and flattering. With palm trees in the distance and turquoise waters, this beach is at the top of our list of recommendations for Maui wedding locations!

Newlywed Bliss

During their private session, we were just as swept up in the moment as they were! Ray couldn’t stop smiling at his new bride! These precious moments together will be forever cherished.

Jayme’s dress had so many intricate details and textures; she looked positively radiant! The floral embroidery down the back was so feminine and ethereal. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?! Seeing her bridal gown was a big reveal for our photographers too. We love seeing our bride’s style shine through!

A Relaxed and Beautiful Gannons Maui Wedding

One of our favorite things about a Gannons Maui wedding is how stunning the backdrop is. Gannon’s is an award-winning restaurant in Wailea. It’s tucked away on a quiet hillside, surrounded by an emerald green golf course. And not far in the distance are the blue Pacific waters that make Hawaii so special.

This vista was perfect for Ryan & Kimberly’s wedding. These two love Hawaii and have visited multiple times. They knew they wanted a low-stress wedding, and marrying here was the perfect chance to share Maui’s beauty with their loved ones.

A small group of family and friends was present for the joyous union, but that was only one part of the bigger adventure. During their time in Maui, everyone had a great time exploring the island, trying new foods, and simply relaxing.

Ryan & Kimberly seemed to really enjoy their laid-back yet elegant Gannons Maui wedding. From their tear-filled vows to their celebratory walk back up the aisle, they reveled in each and every moment.

Called to the Islands

Vanessa & Greg married at Gannon’s, a gorgeous Maui wedding venue in Wailea. They were joined by a small group of loved ones who were so excited to celebrate with them.

As their Maui wedding coordinator, we wanted every detail to be perfect. We kept Vanessa & Greg from seeing each other until her grand entrance, and Karma Hill Photography captured the emotional moment.

Vanessa’s best friend Pierce officiated their ceremony. He shared their love story, led them in sweet vows, and had the honor of pronouncing them husband & wife.

We loved learning about Vanessa & Greg and what led them to their Hawaii Destination Wedding. They’ve been together nearly a decade — they met just before college and hit it off right away. So they’ve been through a lot together and have built a strong foundation for a wonderful marriage.

Vanessa’s parents married on Maui, and the islands have had a special place in both Vanessa & Greg’s hearts for a long time. They always feel drawn to Hawaii, so marrying here was a no-brainer.

We think it all worked out great for them! They had such a beautiful ceremony and got great photos too!

Elegant Simplicity – A Hawaii Destination Wedding

Vanessa & Greg have great taste, and they picked out beautiful details for their wedding. Vanessa’s pastel bouquet mirrored the colors of the sunset against Gannon’s lush hillside. Her stunning trumpet gown featured lace detailing and off-shoulder straps. And Greg looked dapper in his floral tie and matching boutonniere.

After their ceremony, the two enjoyed time at the venue with Karma Hill Photography. Gannon’s gets excellent sunset views, and their pictures were glowy and romantic.

Vanessa & Greg are so comfortable with each other, but also have a giddiness about them. It’s like they had known each other for ten years but were seeing each other in a new light. It was a joy to be around, and we’re still mesmerized by their Hawaii Destination wedding.

Relaxed, simple, and fun are a few words that describe Wenting and Jacob’s venue wedding in Hawaii! Gannon’s lush lawn was the location for this event. Then, the soft sunset decorated the sky and created the perfect ambiance. Most importantly, our gorgeous couple had a radiant glow in every portrait captured by Karma Hill Photography. Wenting and Jacob decided to have a wedding in Hawaii because it’s the perfect location! Their ultimate goal was to have an intimate ceremony at a destination they could also spend their honeymoon. However, Maui’s tranquil environment and adventurous activities drew them in! This tropical getaway was their first time on the island — they couldn’t wait to experience this spot for themselves! Based on their smiles in these photos, you can tell they fell in love with this place.

The Peaceful Venue Wedding in Hawaii

Our delightful duo met during their time at the University of Connecticut! They were both Accounting Majors and happened to enroll in the same Federal Income Taxes class for the Fall of 2017. The universe works in magical ways because our passionate pair was in the same group for a semester-long project! Finally, on January 2, 2018, Wenting and Jacob began dating. 

Then on August 21, 2021, Jacob popped the question. Our handsome groom thought the best place to propose would be the same spot they met! After a calming summer-night walk around campus, Jacob asked Wenting for her hand in marriage. From there, the rest is history!

Currently, Jacob is a Senior Tax Associate at ASSA ABLOY, Inc. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and attending concerts in his free them. Wenting is a Tax Associate with KPMG and loves to paint! Our radiant newlyweds like going on adventures and trying new cuisine. Having a venue wedding in Hawaii was perfect because they got to explore the island and taste Maui’s delicious food!

Destination marriages are about the journey, and Kendall & Adam’s event was no exception. They chose to have a venue wedding in Maui! This decision led them to the lush lawn of Gannon’s — where they had an intimate and romantic ceremony. During this sunset affair, Karma Hill Photography captured every breathtaking moment! Kendall and Adam arrived at Gannon’s separately! First, Adam walked his mom to her seat. Then, he took his spot by Reverend Kuya! During the ceremony’s prelude, Skip from Manutea Nui E played Hawaiian classics on the ukulele. These tunes enhanced the tropical mood of this sunset affair. It made everyone’s entrances more magical as well.

After everyone was standing at the front, it was time for Kendall to make her grand entrance! She glided down the aisle gracefully with her father by her side. Above all, we loved seeing the radiant smile on Adam’s face as Kendall walked toward him. You can tell he was thrilled to be marrying Kendall!

Kendall and Adam’s outfits were perfect for their special day! Kendall wore a simple and sleek gown. Then we love how hair, makeup, and accessories are elegant — they pair beautifully with her pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet. Adam looks sharp in his steel-colored suit! We like how his tie and boutonniere are delicate colors; they add a soft touch to his sophisticated look. More than anything, our favorite thing is how gorgeous this delightful duo looks together! Their attires contrast impeccably with one another.

We adore when a couple has their Maui venue wedding at Gannon’s for many reasons! The natural landscapes make every event look like a tropical fairytale. The green grass, lush trees, and sweeping ocean views decorated the background exquisitely! Then we can’t get enough of this stunning afternoon weather. Although there were a few clouds in the sky, the sun naturally enhanced the brilliance of every portrait!
