First things first, let’s talk about their wedding date. It held a special place in their hearts as it marked their 10th anniversary as a couple. Talk about a milestone worth celebrating! From their humble beginnings in Southern California, these lovebirds now call Bellevue, Washington home. Jessika teaches little ones as a Pre-k teacher, while Ryan works his magic as a realtor.

Maui, our tropical paradise, stole their hearts. Not only did they choose this stunning island as the backdrop for their wedding, but it’s also where their love story took an exciting turn almost two years ago when they got engaged. Talk about full-circle romance! Maui holds a special place in their hearts, and they adore the island for its natural beauty, tranquility, and total happiness-inducing vibes. How can you resist the allure of this tropical wonderland? So when they thought about planning a wedding, Maui came to mind and felt like a dreamy fit! It was a colorful and joyous day…

Maui Is Special To Us

Our Rustic Hawaiian Ruins, adorned with vibrant tropical blooms, overflowing with an abundance of lush greenery, juicy papayas, and fresh fruits, was nothing short of stunning. It was a sight to behold, truly spectacular! As Jessika and Ryan exchanged vows, they looked absolutely radiant against the backdrop of tropical greenery. The sheer joy and happiness emanating from them were contagious, spreading smiles across the faces of everyone present!

After their colorful and intimate ceremony, our wedding photographer swept away the happy pair for some newlywed and family portraits! The lush setting provided so many picture-perfect backdrops for their first moments of being husband and wife. All of their guests were so overjoyed for the happy pair!

A classic trip to the movies, where Ryan mustered up the courage to ask Jessika to be his girlfriend. Their love story has been nothing short of magical since that moment. Arissara and Ben’s big day couldn’t have been more perfect! Their Maui venue wedding was a sunkissed affair by the water with the most beautiful view. Every detail was carefully thought out and executed perfectly, from the decorations to Arissara’s stunning dress. The reception was a night of celebration filled with music, laughter, and toasts. It felt like a real-life dream come true for everyone who attended!

The Best Day Ever

Arissara’s bouquet is perhaps one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen! Our floral partner, Dellables, did a fantastic job putting this floral pink confection together! It really pops against her creamy white gown trailing on the white sand.

Their Maui venue wedding was the perfect blend of beauty, fun, and romance. Ben and Arissara soaked up the magic of the moment until their incredible day ended with a dreamy sunset. After basking in their newlywed joy on the beach, they were ready to celebrate and cut the cake! And what a cake it was! The pink cake floral decorations were right on point! These little details make all the difference…

They got engaged in Kauai and come to Hawaii every year, but this is their first time in Maui. And to say it was a memorable first impression would be an understatement! Their special day took place on the stunning grass lawn at Gannon’s overlooking the ocean with a breathtaking flower semi-circle as the altar. Nothing says romance like gorgeous flowers! The sun was shining down, making for a bright and happy atmosphere. Hannah looked incredible in her off-the-shoulder gown paired with her custom-made bouquet, while Kyle looked dapper in his blue suit. Both look summery and fresh and, most importantly, so in love. All these years of knowing each other had finally come to this moment!

Everyone was so happy to celebrate these two; it was so thoughtful each guest had an orchid lei too! Truly a Hawaiian hospitable touch that extends a welcome with love!

There were lots of hugs and kisses after their lovely ceremony to celebrate these two! Afterward, we whisked our newlyweds away and headed to Southside Beach to capture some romantic moments between the new Mr. & Mrs. Alegado! There is something so romantic about walking on the beach as a newly married couple. You can feel their joy and happiness in these moments! Hawaii will forever hold a special place in their hearts!

We’re absolutely thrilled to share the beautiful love story of Ricquell and Garrett and their Maui beach wedding! The couple started dating when they were just 15 years old, bonding over their shared love for guitar and singing. They even participated in school talent shows together! Since then, they’ve navigated life side by side, from college to new jobs to adulting.

After eight wonderful years together, the couple knew it was time to tie the knot in a beautiful location outside of their home state. A Maui wedding was the perfect choice for them as they sought an intimate ceremony in a stunning setting. They both love being by the beach and soaking up the beautiful scenery and atmosphere that comes with it. You’ll love how beautiful their dream day turned out!

Their special day began with a glorious flower circle at the water’s edge at Maluaka Beach, setting the stage for a touching and heartfelt ceremony. It was clear from the moment they said “I do” that they are so happy and in love!

Their touching vows were carried off into the ocean breeze and sealed with a kiss! We wanted to take full advantage of all the gorgeous scenery of the picturesque setting for their photo ops! We’re thrilled to share the happy news of Kimberly and Bill’s Maui venue wedding! They wanted to get married in a special location they had never been to before, and Maui seemed like the perfect romantic destination for them.

As true romantics, they did a lot of research before deciding on Maui as their wedding location. They loved Maui’s variety of scenic backgrounds, from beaches to waterfalls to beautiful grassy areas perfect for capturing memories! Kimberly and Bill have a beautiful love story that spans several years and states. After reconnecting in 2018, they spent many evenings talking on the phone and visiting each other. The pandemic allowed them to be together in one spot finally, and in May 2021, Kimberly officially moved to Houston to be with Bill. They got engaged just a few short months later, in August, and now they are officially “Just Maui’d!” Keep reading to see more of their charming celebration…

For their special day, they chose the charming and tropical Olowalu Plantation, an old sugar plantation house right on the oceanfront. It is a beautiful and historic property that is a true island gem! The lovely setting and charm added sweetness to their Maui venue wedding.

Our gorgeous bride, Kimberly, looked absolutely exquisite in her embroidered gown with her custom bouquet! Her flowers are simply gorgeous and so fresh! Bill looked equally as dapper and handsome. Everyone was so happy to share this moment with them!

After their “I, do’s,” we whisked our lovebirds away to capture their newlywed portraits! One reason why we love this venue for its ample photo locations and variety of scenery for portraits. From the jetty to the grass lawn overlooking the ocean, there are endless opportunities! Our happy couple wanted to make sure to take advantage of them all! We all could use a little more whimsy and romance in our lives! Our lovely couple, Marisa and Ashkan’s Maui venue wedding, was an enchanting celebration of their love story. As a pandemic couple, they had only been together for two years, but their bond was strong and unbreakable. They met on Hinge in early June of 2020, and ever since their first date, they have been inseparable!

Our happy pair wanted their day to be effortless, simple, and carefree with a little bit of whimsy into the mix and thanks to our incredible team and partners, we made that dream come true!

Maui Felt Right

We felt like we stepped into a romantic fairy tale at their Maui venue wedding at Merriman’s Kapalua! The soft light made it feel even more enchanting for their inimate vow ceremony. Maui holds a special place in Marisa’s heart too! Her parents remarried right on Kapalua Beach when she was just four years old. Both love the island, so Maui only made sense when it came to planning out their special day!

Their wedding ceremony was held right by the water, where the pastel tones of the day shone through. From Marisa’s enchanting dress to Ashkan’s mauve three-piece suit, every element of their day felt unique and romantic…

A magical petal toss felt like the best way to celebrate the new Mr. & Mrs. Hosseinzadeh after their enchanting Maui venue wedding! Their friends and family couldn’t be happier for them…They will have a larger reception party later in the year to celebrate, but this moment was just for them!

Their Maui venue wedding photos are truly breathtaking, with the pink sunset sky only enhancing the beauty and romance of their day. These portraits look like a fairytale beachy dream! Tory and Daniel’s Maui beach wedding was a beautiful celebration that perfectly reflected their fun and playful personalities. The couple had met at a slip-and-slide party (that says it all!), bonding over their shared love of Doctor Who and Jurassic Park. A mutual friend made sure they were both at the same party next time, and their love story began!

So their engagement didn’t go all to plan for Daniel, but it worked out perfectly in the end! The couple went to a sculpture garden in DC that they had visited on their first date. However, the garden was under construction, so they went to a nearby garden instead. After struggling to find a quiet spot, Daniel finally got down on one knee and proposed. This was their day, a celebration just for them, a total dream! The tropical scenery is simply magical, with swaying palm trees and a deep blue ocean stretching out as far as the eye can see. So, unsurprisingly, our lovely couple fell in love with Polo Beach. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun on your skin, and the tropical breeze all combine to create an unforgettable experience that’s just perfect for a romantic wedding ceremony! And knowing these two love birds, Amanda and Lance happily left their shoes behind…

The first moments of their newlywed bliss were full of tender moments, loving gestures, and even a few playful moments! Their love shone through every moment as they walked and twirled in the gentle shore break…

These lovebirds met on a dating app in January 2022 and fell in love from day one! They have so much in common, and they knew this connection was something special. Several months later, they were engaged!

Their big day finally arrived, and we couldn’t be happier for them! Their Maui venue wedding was exactly what they envisioned; ocean breeze, sunshine, salty air…and full of love. Chad especially wanted to get married in Maui, so they thought, why not?!

Oceanside Dreams

Their beautiful oceanside ceremony took place at Wailea Beach Resort at Lanai Point on Maui’s South Shore. We love this location because it allows you to be as close as possible to the ocean while still having the privacy of a venue wedding! Guests can sit comfortably and admire the view and the celebration. It’s the best of a beach and venue wedding! Plus, the views are incredible too!

It wasn’t long before our happy newlyweds left the shoes at the altar and made their way down to the beach below! They basked in the golden sun and the carefree, relaxed ambiance of the gorgeous setting. The sunset was incredible for the new Mr. and Mrs. too! Their Maui venue wedding ended with a golden glowing bang, as you can see! Maui’s south shores rarely disappoint! It was the perfect ending to Madison and Chad’s special day…

Jami and Joseph’s Maui elopement was a dream come true! After being together for over ten years, they were excited to finally tie the knot in a beautiful location that wasn’t just a courthouse wedding. From the moment we met our happy couple, we knew they were meant to be together, and their love story is a scene from a romantic film script! So they met in August 2012 while working on an Indie film. Joe was in the camera department, and Jami was the director’s assistant – the rest was history… or a romantic movie?!

Their beach ceremony took place at Ironwoods Beach, a picturesque location on Maui’s North West shore. It was full of love, happiness, and many laughs! It was a joy to witness their love and deep friendship! What’s more, Jami’s custom bouquet is so fresh, full of springy and whimsical garden blooms…

Our Future Awaits

After their romantic beach ceremony, we walked up to the dramatic cliffs for additional portraits! The raw natural beauty of this location was just as breathtaking as the pair they make!

It was an honor to have been able to capture this incredible moment for Jami and Joseph. We know that their love will only continue to grow stronger from this point onwards. We wish them all the happiness in the world as they start their lives together as husband and wife!

Our friends at Salon 253 Bride approached us to collaborate on a Maui wedding inspiration shoot for 2023, we naturally said yes! They wanted our help finding a gorgeous location to shoot and we thought what better place than our newest venue wedding offering, Andaz Resort in Wailea! If you’re dreaming of a private, oceanfront setting for your upcoming nuptials, this gorgeous setting is sure to steal your heart! The salty ocean breeze, magnificent Kiawe trees, lush foliage…what’s not to love?

Besides the fantastic bridal hair and makeup by Salon 253 Bride, we partnered with our talented friends at Karma Hill Photography, Colie Marie Design Co, and Kiawe Outdoor for a bohemian-styled shoot to showcase the beauty of this stunning venue and some popular wedding trends in decor and hair and makeup for 2023!

Maui Wedding Venue – Andaz Wailea

This luxurious and private venue is situated right in the center of Wailea, on Maui’s Southwest Shore. This area, in general, is known for its spectacular sunsets and breathtaking views, home to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island! And what we love most about the Andaz Wailea as a wedding venue is the resort’s stunning beachside lawns. Lawns, Laule’a 1 or Laule’a 3, are surrounded by the natural splendor of the ocean and lush tropical greenery.

Both are stunning options for a Maui venue wedding! Laule’a 1 offers broad ocean vistas and swaying palm trees, creating a tropical and intimate setting. Laule’a 3 features a majestic, old-growth Kiawe tree that creates a distinctive and visually stunning backdrop. With both venues, couples have flexibility with their décor and design. Andaz graciously provides wood cross-back chairs for each ceremony and a sheltered area just in case the weather isn’t as pleasant!

Not only does this venue offer two beautiful locations for an intimate, private ceremony, but the resort offers the option to block rooms off for you and your guests for convenience and simplicity. This makes your wedding experience far more enjoyable without the hassle of traveling throughout the day. We’re all about making your wedding day simpler! You can arrange a room block directly through the resort or via our preferred agent.

What’s even more convenient is after your vows, you can celebrate in style with your guests with a reception in one of the resort’s elegant private rooms or fine restaurants. Andaz‘s hospitable team will happily accommodate to your needs with a wide range of delicious culinary delights and local specialties.

Styling Experts – Vendors Creating The Magic

Bringing all the elements together for this styled shoot was so much fun – from the stunning setting to the little details of the day. The bohemian details with a touch of tropical flair were present throughout the shoot, which felt fresh and unique!

Hair and Make + Floral

Salon 253 Bride worked their magic again with our bride’s beautiful plaited hair! Her makeup was done meticulously by the talented team at Salon 253 with a soft natural look. Her long golden tresses paired with a lovely haku flower crown by florist Colie Marie Design Co was the perfect style for this tropical bohemian shoot. Our bride’s tulle gown reflected the beachy atmosphere, hinting at the white frothy waves just beyond the lawn… What an excellent collaboration to bring out the bride’s beauty.

Decor Specialists

Thanks to Colie Marie Design Co for the beautiful tropical bouquet and amazing chair arrangement. The flowers looked so vibrant and the colors were perfect for an outdoor Maui wedding inspiration shoot.

Kiawe Outdoor created the perfect lavish weddinging setup. Peacock chairs, plush bohemian decor, feathers, candles, and tropical blooms artfully set the tone for this spectacular aspirational shoot. With Hawaii’s lush scenery as our backdrop and gorgeous details, the outdoor venue was the perfect romantic escape for our couple.

Models

Thanks to our gorgeous models Chelsea and Cody who are actually newlyweds! You both looked relaxed under the magnificent Kiawe tree overlooking the beach. We are so lucky to have you both help create this beautiful wedding scene…with a sip of champagne, of course!

Andaz Wedding Photography Coverage

After relaxing at our luxe bohemian spread, our couple walked around the grounds for a few romantic sunset portraits against the ocean backdrop. Our highly skilled team of photographers at Karma Hill Photography will capture all the best elements (both natural and any decor) of the setting for each portrait, ensuring our couple’s Maui wedding photography is dynamic with flattering angles within the tropical splendor.

Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee there will be no passers-by or beachgoers on the public beach in front of the lawn, but thanks to our skilled photographers and the magic of our talented editing team, we ensure each photo will be just the two of you savoring the moment of your big day!

The beach is just a few steps from both of Andaz’s ceremony sites. When planning your ceremony our coordination team can ensure you have time in your photography timeline to add on beach photos.
