Matthew, a talented carpenter, and Lyka, a dedicated front desk agent are not only deeply in love but also expecting their first child! How exciting! Their island home of Maui provided the perfect backdrop for this special occasion, blending the beauty of their surroundings with the joy of their union. Sharing The Love With Our Family & Friends

The day was spectacular, and the setting at Gather was just right. Lyka made an incredible entrance in her grand gown, looking every bit the radiant bride. Her beautiful veil and elegant tiara added a touch of timeless elegance, making her look like a queen. Matthew’s broad smile when he saw his bride was a heartwarming moment, capturing the love and excitement of the day.

The tropical arch where they exchanged vows added an island touch to their ceremony, perfectly complementing the lush scenery around them. The atmosphere was filled with love, happiness, and promises of the future. It was a lovely, intimate gathering of friends and family, all there to celebrate Matthew and Lyka’s love story!

After the heartfelt ceremony, the newlyweds took some beautiful portraits on the lush grounds. Carsyn and Gavin’s Maui venue wedding day was a delightful celebration of love and dreams coming true. The couple’s story began during their freshman year at Baylor University. A mutual friend, who was in Carsyn’s introductory computer science class and also Gavin’s roommate, brought them together. Their connection was instant, and after two and a half years of dating, Gavin orchestrated a wild goose chase with the help of their friends, leading Carsyn to the lake where they had their first date. There, he surprised her with a proposal on a beautiful day she’ll never forget!

Choosing Maui for their wedding was a dream come true for Carsyn and Gavin. They wanted a beautiful venue to host an intimate ceremony with their close family, and Maui offered just that. Additionally, the island presented the perfect opportunity for them to learn how to surf, combining their wedding and honeymoon into one unforgettable adventure! The wedding day was nothing short of incredible. The serene beauty of island provided the perfect backdrop as Carsyn and Gavin exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones. The atmosphere was filled with joy, love, and a sense of magic that made the day even more special. Alexis and Aren’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration of their love and commitment. Gather On Maui, a premier Maui wedding venue, provided a breathtaking backdrop. The day blended romance, cultural elegance, and natural beauty. Alexis and Aren share a love story that began in high school and grew over the years. Their stunning Maui wedding captured their unique bond and joyous spirit. The serene setting and heartfelt moments made their wedding day truly unforgettable.

The Love Story of Alexis and Aren

Alexis, a dedicated high school English teacher, and Aren works for a financial technology company. They share a love story that began in high school. Though friends at first, it wasn’t until college that they realized their feelings for each other. Aren’s romantic proposal in downtown Chicago, aboard a boat on the Chicago River, set the stage for a lifetime of shared adventures. Choosing Maui for their wedding was a natural decision. Alexis’s love for Hawaii’s beauty sold Aren on Maui as the perfect wedding location.

A Perfect Venue Ceremony

Their wedding started with Alexis walking down the aisle to “Canon in D,” played on a ukulele by Jon of Manutea Nui E. She looked radiant in an off-the-shoulder white gown, her dark hair cascading in loose waves and a delicate veil flowing behind her. Alexis’s bouquet of white orchids and roses with green tropical foliage complemented her elegant appearance perfectly. Aren, equally dashing in a traditional barong tagalog, stood waiting at the altar.

The ceremony took place under a beautifully decorated bamboo arch draped with sheer white fabric, gently swaying in the ocean breeze. The serene setting of Gather On Maui, with its vibrant tropical flowers and lush greenery, provided a picturesque backdrop for the couple’s vows. Reverend Kuya officiated the heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by friends and family.

Capturing the Moments

Karma Hill Photography captured the enchanting moments of Alexis and Aren’s wedding day. The couple exchanged leis in a heartfelt ceremony conducted by Reverend Kuya. The bridal party, in elegant blue dresses and traditional barong tagalogs adorned with leis, added a vibrant and culturally rich ambiance to the celebration.

After Reverend Kuya pronounced Alexis and Aren husband and wife, the newlyweds shared their first kiss as a married couple. In a beautiful Hawaiian tradition, Reverend Kuya blew the conch shell to announce their union, adding a unique and memorable touch to their ceremony.

A Celebration of Love

As Alexis and Aren walked hand in hand down the aisle, surrounded by the love and support of their guests, bubbles floated through the air, and petals scattered on the grass. The joyous atmosphere was palpable, with everyone sharing in the couple’s happiness. The serene ocean in the distance and swaying palm trees added a tranquil touch to the already magical setting.

Tien and Jacqueline’s Maui venue wedding day at the Andaz Resort in Maui was a delightful celebration filled with joy, love, and the warmth of friends and family. Their journey began at a dental school’s welcome weekend in April 2019, where they quickly hit it off over dinner at the same restaurant. Their bond grew stronger over the summer, and by the time school started, they were inseparable.

Fast forward to May 2023, Tien and Jacqueline graduated, moved to Dallas, and began their careers in dentistry. Jacqueline practices as a general dentist, while Tien is completing his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). In their free time, they enjoy being homebodies with their four cats, dining out, playing pickleball, and binge-watching the latest shows and movies! Two peas in a pod! Tropical Elegance Done Right

Their proposal story is as enchanting as their wedding. Tien surprised Jacqueline with a proposal at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, using a ring his mother bought for him when he was four years old, reset in a simple golden band. How touching is that?! Just about the sweetest thing we’ve ever heard!

Choosing an intimate Maui wedding, they exchanged vows on the beautiful Laule’a 3 Lawn at Andaz Resort, marked by a stunning greenery arch. And of course the star of this site, the old-growth Kiawe tree! The ceremony was intimate and beautiful, reflecting their desire for a special moment shared with loved ones without the stress of a large, extravagant event..exactly what Simple Maui Wedding does best!

Jacqueline looked exquisite in her minimalist wedding dress, and Tien was handsome in a classic tux. They both were a sight to behold against the tropical greenery! Their happiness was contagious, radiating through every portrait… The newlywed portraits by the beach were especially romantic, capturing their love in the most picturesque setting. We were honored to coordinate Joey and Sarah’s Maui venue wedding! They were surrounded by family and friends who all made the journey. The joy in their hearts was palpable throughout the whole day.

Sarah, a talented massage therapist, and Joey, a dedicated GM for Big O Tires, share a love for golf and their two beloved pit bull mix rescues. Treasured childhood memories of Joey’s inspired their decision to tie the knot in Maui. For Sarah, it was her first time experiencing the beauty of Hawaii, adding an extra layer of excitement to their special day.

Their journey together began unexpectedly on a dating app! But from their very first date, Sarah knew that Joey was the one. Sarah wasn’t even looking for a serious relationship but little did she know fate had another plan in store! Our lovebirds choose the charming Olowalu Plantation House for their Maui venue wedding. This venue is truly special, it has an authentic, old Hawaiian charm nestled right on the water. It’s truly a special venue! Their ceremony was held right under the big tree with the turquoise water in the distance. It was just the lush, tropical, and private setting these two envisioned!

Their sealed their vows with a kiss in the shade of the palm trees and with their bridal party. We love the olive green and beach tones they chose! It perfectly reflects the lush tropical colors of their Maui venue wedding. What’s more is that they sliced their wedding cake right on the patio surrounded by their cherished guests before taking a stroll as husband and wife on the property!

What’s better than a love story that starts with a chance encounter? Meet Ariel and Caleb, the dynamic duo whose journey to forever began with a serendipitous meeting and culminated in a breathtaking Maui venue wedding that was anything but predictable.

Caleb, the rugged outdoorsman with a heart of gold, swept Ariel off her feet with his genuine charm and unwavering love. After 7.5 years of adventures and laughter, they found themselves on a plane bound for Maui, with Ariel unsuspecting of the surprise awaiting her.

As the plane soared towards paradise, Caleb orchestrated a proposal that would go down in the books as one of the most memorable moments of their lives. With the entire flight crew in on the plan, including a Hawaiian blessing over the ring and a surprise video montage, Caleb pulled off the ultimate surprise, leaving Ariel utterly speechless and overjoyed! How amazing and unique is that?!

Ariel, a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist, and Caleb, a dedicated firefighter, share a deep love for helping others and embracing the great outdoors with their fur babies, Emmy and Chief, by their side. With a shared passion for hiking, camping, and stand-up paddleboarding, they find solace and joy in the beauty of nature. So naturally, Maui was the first idea they had in mind when they planned to say “I do!” A love story coming full circle!

Their Maui wedding at Kuleana Resort was a dream come true, with lush ocean views providing the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt vows. Surrounded by cherished guests, Ariel and Caleb sealed their love with a kiss, embarking on the next chapter of their journey with hearts full of love and gratitude.

Afterward, the freshly newly titled Mr. and Mrs. went down to the rocks to catch an ethereal sunset! They look so happy together in these portraits. We love how Ariel went full princess style with her gown too! It was a delightful contrast to the rugged rocks. And Caleb looked equally handsome in a laid-back look, reflecting the beachy island vibes.

Our lovely couple, Jessica and Ryan’s long-awaited Maui venue wedding day finally arrived! And let’s just say, it was nothing short of spectacular!

From the moment they set foot on their ceremony site, it was clear that this day was going to be one for the books. With hearts full of anticipation and smiles stretching from ear to ear, Jessica and Ryan couldn’t wait to say “I do” surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

As Jessica made her grand entrance, escorted by her father, all eyes were on her. And can we talk about that dress? A stunning lace confection that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight, turning heads as she walked in! And oh, the way Ryan looked at her—pure adoration and love shining bright in his eyes. We love seeing the groom’s reaction when they see their bride for the first time! So without futher adieu, let’s share more of these twos special day!

A Beautiful Day

With close family and friends gathered around them at Wailea Beach Resort, Jessica and Ryan exchanged vows beneath a gorgeous driftwood arch adorned with cream-colored blooms. It was a perfect blend of beachy elegance and natural beauty. The sound of the waves gently crashing against the shore provided the soundtrack to their heartfelt promises, sealing their future together with a kiss!

After the ceremony, they whisked away to the nearby beach for some newlywed portraits, their radiance matching the golden hues of the sunset. And of course, the kiddos joined in on the fun, adding an extra sprinkle of joy to the already magical day!
