Having this backup plan built into the venue is a huge plus for couples planning an outdoor wedding in Maui.

Wedding Venue Considerations

While The White Orchid Beach House offers a stunning and intimate setting, there are a few logistical considerations to note:

• Parking Limitations: The venue only allows six guest vehicles, so if your guest count exceeds 15, a private shuttle service is required (not included in the package). Street parking is strictly prohibited and monitored by a parking attendant.
• Uber and Lyft are Not Available: Due to the remote location, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are not available. It’s important to plan transportation in advance.
• Limited Cell Service: Cell phone reception is limited at the venue, though Wi-Fi is available for connectivity needs.
• Availability: This venue is available for weddings Monday through Thursday at the current package rate. Weekend bookings are possible with an additional fee. (Visit our packages page for full details.)

Bridal Suite for Pre-Ceremony Prep
Included in the site fee is access to the venue’s delightful bridal suite, where you can change into your wedding attire before the ceremony. This suite provides a comfortable and beautiful space to prepare, though if you’re looking to fully get ready on-site (hair, makeup, etc.), additional fees may apply. Not only do these leis look stunning, but they also come with a practical benefit. The open garland style allows for better airflow and less weight on the neck, making them more comfortable to wear during hot Maui days. One area we always recommend splurging on is hair and makeup. Maui’s weather can be challenging, with humidity, wind, and occasional rain. Our trusted local experts, Salon 253 Bride, handled the hair and makeup for the styled shoot, ensuring the models looked flawless from start to finish.

You can add on our sparkling cider toast option or cake and toast option at this venue, it’s a great way to put a little tradition into your ceremony and especially if you are going to a nice sit down dinner nearby after your ceremony, allows for these moments to be photographed at your beautiful ceremony site while you have your photographer there.

Do you believe in fate? Well, in our line of work of coordinating Maui venue weddings, we do! Because fate intervened in Sara and Ben’s meeting as you’ll see! Meeting at church in middle school, they dated briefly in high school before life took them in different directions. Ben joined the military, while Sara pursued a nursing career. About ten years ago, they reconnected and have been inseparable ever since, dating for the past six years!

Sara, a neonatal nurse practitioner in San Antonio, had been to Oahu before, but this was the first trip to Maui for both her and Ben, who works in the insurance field. Sara’s aunt and uncle, long-time Maui visitors, sold them on the island’s beauty and magic, and it became the perfect setting for their Maui venue wedding! It was an aloha-filled day with color and love as you’ll see below!

Their wedding ceremony was held at a stunning tropical gem, the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant blooms. The atmosphere was filled with tropical abundance and color, creating a beautiful and joyous setting. The vibrant colors and fruit elevated their tropical ceremony don’t you think?! Friends and family were overjoyed to be there, sharing in the love and light that radiated throughout the day.

Kristin and Christopher’s Maui venue wedding at Gather in South Maui was a day filled with love, beauty, and unforgettable moments. Their love story began at work back in 2014, and after years of shared adventures, Chris proposed in the most romantic way on the Oregon coast.

For Kristin’s 30th birthday, Chris made a custom glass float and secretly planted it on the beach. For years, they had searched for these hidden treasures and never found one. But this time, Kristin found the float with a note inside saying, “You found me! But I am luckier to have found you, schlubba!” (Their nickname for each other!) Turning around, she saw Chris on one knee with the most beautiful ring and surrounded by family and friends, she said yes. It was perfect. So we were beyond delighted to coordinate their incredible day, it was so beautiful!

Their wedding day was equally incredible. The ceremony was intimate, with close friends and family gathered to celebrate their love. Christopher’s eyes lit up when he saw Kristin, and his heartfelt gaze was truly heartwarming. Kristin looked absolutely stunning, and her radiance added to the beauty of the day.

Their story began in Tokyo, where they met while working at a new hotel. Despite being in different departments, their paths crossed, and they quickly became good friends. Friendship blossomed into romance, and after living together for 1.5 years, Yusuke proposed on Maika’s birthday, marking the start of their beautiful journey together! Yusuke, a pastry chef from Kyoto, has traveled and worked in Toronto, Paris, Doha, Bali, and now Japan. His easygoing nature perfectly complements Maika, who is from Tokyo and has lived in San Diego, Maui, and Dallas. Carsyn and Gavin’s Maui venue wedding day was a delightful celebration of love and dreams coming true. The couple’s story began during their freshman year at Baylor University. A mutual friend, who was in Carsyn’s introductory computer science class and also Gavin’s roommate, brought them together. Their connection was instant, and after two and a half years of dating, Gavin orchestrated a wild goose chase with the help of their friends, leading Carsyn to the lake where they had their first date. There, he surprised her with a proposal on a beautiful day she’ll never forget!

Choosing Maui for their wedding was a dream come true for Carsyn and Gavin. They wanted a beautiful venue to host an intimate ceremony with their close family, and Maui offered just that. Additionally, the island presented the perfect opportunity for them to learn how to surf, combining their wedding and honeymoon into one unforgettable adventure! What more could this lovely couple ask for!?

Our beautiful couple chose the breathtaking Wailea Beach Resort for their big day. This stunning venue offers privacy, ocean front lawn, and spectacular sunset views!

The wedding day was nothing short of incredible. The serene beauty of island provided the perfect backdrop as Carsyn and Gavin exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones. The atmosphere was filled with joy, love, and a sense of magic that made the day even more special. Their friends and family were there to share in the celebration, adding to the warmth and happiness of the occasion! Their families couldn’t have been more proud!

Carsyn and Gavin looked absolutely stunning, their smiles radiating pure bliss throughout the whole ceremony! But one of the best parts of the whole evening was their newly wed portraits at sunset! Alexis and Aren’s wedding day was a beautiful celebration of their love and commitment. Gather On Maui, a premier Maui wedding venue, provided a breathtaking backdrop. The day blended romance, cultural elegance, and natural beauty. Alexis and Aren share a love story that began in high school and grew over the years. Their stunning Maui wedding captured their unique bond and joyous spirit. The serene setting and heartfelt moments made their wedding day truly unforgettable.

The Love Story of Alexis and Aren

Alexis, a dedicated high school English teacher, and Aren works for a financial technology company. They share a love story that began in high school. Though friends at first, it wasn’t until college that they realized their feelings for each other. Aren’s romantic proposal in downtown Chicago, aboard a boat on the Chicago River, set the stage for a lifetime of shared adventures. Choosing Maui for their wedding was a natural decision. Alexis’s love for Hawaii’s beauty sold Aren on Maui as the perfect wedding location.

A Perfect Venue Ceremony

Their wedding started with Alexis walking down the aisle to “Canon in D,” played on a ukulele by Jon of Manutea Nui E. She looked radiant in an off-the-shoulder white gown, her dark hair cascading in loose waves and a delicate veil flowing behind her. Alexis’s bouquet of white orchids and roses with green tropical foliage complemented her elegant appearance perfectly. Aren, equally dashing in a traditional barong tagalog, stood waiting at the altar.

The ceremony took place under a beautifully decorated bamboo arch draped with sheer white fabric, gently swaying in the ocean breeze. The serene setting of Gather On Maui, with its vibrant tropical flowers and lush greenery, provided a picturesque backdrop for the couple’s vows. Reverend Kuya officiated the heartfelt ceremony, surrounded by friends and family.

Capturing the Moments

Karma Hill Photography captured the enchanting moments of Alexis and Aren’s wedding day. The couple exchanged leis in a heartfelt ceremony conducted by Reverend Kuya. The bridal party, in elegant blue dresses and traditional barong tagalogs adorned with leis, added a vibrant and culturally rich ambiance to the celebration.

After Reverend Kuya pronounced Alexis and Aren husband and wife, the newlyweds shared their first kiss as a married couple. In a beautiful Hawaiian tradition, Reverend Kuya blew the conch shell to announce their union, adding a unique and memorable touch to their ceremony.

A Celebration of Love

As Alexis and Aren walked hand in hand down the aisle, surrounded by the love and support of their guests, bubbles floated through the air, and petals scattered on the grass. The joyous atmosphere was palpable, with everyone sharing in the couple’s happiness. The serene ocean in the distance and swaying palm trees added a tranquil touch to the already magical setting.

Both business owners, Nikolas is a clothing reseller and Izabella is a full-time mama and brow artist. Their lives are filled with precious family moments with their beautiful boy and fur baby. Choosing an intimate wedding in Maui was a no-brainer for them, wanting a peaceful, quiet, and picturesque setting away from the hustle and bustle of the Bay Area! Their love story began in third grade, blossoming into a deep friendship by eighth grade. On the night of their eighth-grade graduation, Nikolas asked Izabella out, and they’ve been together ever since. How sweet is that?! It’s not often we hear of such a long love story like these two!
