The Enchanting Hawaii Beach Elopement

Lahaina Shores Beach set a romantic ambiance for this sunset affair! The blue sky was clear of clouds, so the setting sun left a warm glow on the shore. Surrounding our charming couple are lofty palm trees, foamy azure waves, and beige sand. Then, once the sun fully set, an array of pastel hues painted the sky! We couldn’t have asked for a more dreamy and intimate scene for this event.

Our Couple’s Story

Susan and Clayton’s story began when they met one another online. However, they attended the same high school long before they even met! Then, when the time was right, Clayton proposed to Susan in San Francisco at Pier 7. When this stunning couple got engaged, it was a complete surprise, and right before Clayton had to leave for his orders in Iraq.

Currently, our radiant newlyweds live in the Bay Area in California! Clayton is an avid PC gamer, while Susan is a crafter and lash artist. This delightful duo has two adorable cats, and they absolutely love them! Most importantly, you can find them going to the movies, visiting new places, or trying restaurants in their free time! We’re glad one destination they explored was Maui for their Hawaii beach elopement!

Then twenty-four of our delightful couple’s friends and family were in attendance, making this event more meaningful. Brent and the wedding guests arrived at the beach first. Our groom took his spot at the front of the shore by the officiant — he looked sharp in his classic suit and purple tie! Then, when the time was perfect, Sonda made her grand entrance. Our bride walked down the aisle with her two daughters by her side. However, we adore how effortlessly Karma Hill Photography captured the moment our bride and groom saw one another! You can see nothing but affection and excitement on both of their faces.

Why We Like Their Hawaii Wedding

Our charming couple decided to go with a violet color scheme for their special day! We adore this rich tone because it contrasts beautifully with the natural palette of the beach. Then, everyone’s wearing a different shade of purple, but these varying hues balance exquisitely. Next, Sonda’s custom bouquet and matching flower crown by Dellables is a gorgeous contrast of shades! Our Couple’s Story

Desirae and David had their first date on New Year’s Eve! Now, annually, they go somewhere new to celebrate their first date and David’s birthday. However, we’re glad one of their adventures was for their Maui destination wedding!

Our charming couple got engaged during a weekend getaway at Morro Bay in Southern California. To ring in the next year, they decided to have a game-night and watch celebratory shows on TV. When the clock struck twelve, David got down on one knee. Instead of doing a midnight kiss — he proposed! Desirae says it was a perfect night and a phenomenal engagement.

However, one of our favorite things about Chelsey and Kyle’s wedding was how they made it unique to them. The minister for this event was Kyle’s dad, Dan, and he delivered an impeccable sermon! Most importantly, his close connection with our lovely couple made this ceremony feel more intimate!

Lahaina Shores Beach was the location for this Maui wedding, and this spot created the perfect backdrop! The sun was sitting its golden hour, so it left a brilliant glimmer on the shore. Then, surrounding this ceremony are cerulean waves, beige sand, and soaring palm trees!

After our gorgeous couple became husband and wife, we did a cake cutting ceremony on the beach! This one-tier treat is beautiful — we adore the minimalistic flowers decorating it.

When Hanna and Shane got engaged, they knew they wanted their special day to be an intimate celebration. In February 2020, this charming couple visited Oahu and fell in love with Hawaii! The Scenic Maui Destination Wedding

This West Maui spot didn’t fail to create an enchanting backdrop for this occasion! Since we set up for this ceremony right by the water, the foamy sapphire waves enhanced the tranquil atmosphere. Then, once this passionate pair became husband and wife, Karma Hill Photography captured some couple’s portraits of them. They took advantage of every exquisite landscape Ironwoods had to offer! The long ivory shore and dramatic lava rocks are a few of our favorite backgrounds.

Our Couple’s Story

Hanna and Shane’s story began when they met during middle school. Shane attended one of Hanna’s basketball games, and they’ve been together ever since. Currently, Hanna is a Registered Nurse, while Shane works as an Orthodontic Assistant. In their free time, you can find them camping, traveling, listening to vinyls, or drinking fancy bears!

This getaway was our adventurous duo’s second time in Hawaii. Although they love everything about Oahu, they didn’t want to get married there. Hanna and Shane decided they wanted a different vibe for their special day! Most importantly, we adore how they made their first time on a new island remarkable with their destination wedding in Maui!

This ceremony started beautifully! Gregory was standing on the shore by the wedding officiant, Kahu Euta. Once all the guests were comfortable, the entrances began. First to walk out was Kate, the maid of honor, and Brian, the best man. Following them were the two precious flower girls. The last to walk down the beach was Whitney. Her father, John, was by her side and a pastel Rustic Hawaiian bouquet from Dellables was in her hands!

Our Couple’s Story

Whitney and Gregory first connected at a work Christmas party. At the time, Gregory was working with Whitney’s mom at the same physical therapy company. After a few months of dating, Whitney eventually began working at the same firm in the marketing department.

Our beautiful couple enjoys being adventurous, so a Maui beach wedding was perfect for them! In their free time, you can find them hiking, going to the seaside, or walking their two dogs. When they’re not outside, they’ll spend time at home playing video games!

This pair decided to have Manutea Nui E play ‘Over The Rainbow’ for this moment because it was Barbie’s grandma’s favorite song.

The day you tie the knot should check every box off your wishlist! Jennifer and James wanted a simple, beautiful, and personal ceremony. Our lovely couple’s Maui wedding and trash the dress session is just what they wanted! Continue scrolling to see why this celebration was perfect for them. 

Jennifer and James’ special day was all about them. With only five guests in attendance, this ceremony is so intimate! Our groom was the first to arrive at Ironwoods Beach, and he looks sharp in his suit. Then when the sun was beginning to lower, our bride made her grand entrance! During Reverend Kimo Kirkman’s sermon, our stunning couple even exchanged leis with their guests — making this event more meaningful!

The Enchanting Maui Wedding 

Ironwoods Beach was the location for this wedding, and everything about this spot is breathtaking! Surrounding our gorgeous couple is ivory sand, foamy aqua waves, and dramatic lava rocks. Above all, we adore how magical the sun made this event feel. The sunset left a golden glow on the shore — enhancing the dreamy ambiance!

Our Couple’s Story

Our adventurous couple met while they were on a group trip in Myanmar. After this getaway, James went home to London, and Jennifer returned to Ohio. However, their friendship continued to blossom! Our lovely duo had their first date in New York City on Valentine’s Day. This moment is why they decided to have their Maui wedding on the same day a few years later. Then, when the time was right, James popped the question to Jennifer while they were on a road trip around England!

A few days after this tranquil wedding, Karma Hill Photography captured some exquisite trash the dress portraits! Polo Beach and a picturesque sunset set the scene for this session. These pictures are so lighthearted and romantic! Our charming couple had fun: they got their feet wet, played in the water, and sat in the sand! Most importantly, you can tell this blissful duo is savoring their time in paradise as husband and wife!
