Serena and Daniel’s Maui Elopement was out of this world beautiful. Ironwoods Beach set the stage with rolling aquamarine tides and spectacular rock formations. With the sun blanketing the shore in golden light and a couple dressed to perfection and madly in love, this beach wedding is a must-see! 

The Maui Elopement

Wearing a tailored gown with elegant blouse draping, Serena made her entrance on the sandy shore and took our breath away. Daniel’s expression says it all. This is true love. To open the ceremony, Reverend Kimo trumpeted the conch shell for a traditional Hawaiian blessing, and Serena and Daniel embarked on the first steps to becoming a married couple. 

Okay, can we pause for just a second? How stunning is Serena?! She glows from the inside out. We’re lovin’ the beachy hair and her effortlessly beautiful style. But it’s her beaming smile and the happiness that radiates from her that truly sings in these gorgeous photos. It’s little wonder why she outshines the Maui sun. There are few things as special as finding your perfect match and knowing you’re on this journey together. 

Our Couple’s Story

Serena is a makeup artist content creator on Instagram, and Daniel is an IT auditor. They enjoy getting boba and doing pretty much anything in each others’ company. Friends for a while, Serena and Daniel have known each other since high school but only started dating in the summer of 2017. When the time was right, Daniel proposed in March of 2021 in a Minneapolis park, and now, here they are–saying “I do” at their tropical and elegant Maui Elopement!

Courtney and Tristan’s Maui Venue Wedding took place on the manicured lawn of Gannon’s ceremonial knoll. With their four children and loved ones in attendance, this was a wedding filled with endless love and blue skies.

The Maui Venue Wedding

Courtney and Tristan decided on a Maui Venue Wedding shortly after their engagement. One day, they were browsing a local wedding show with their moms and came across a Hawaiian booth. They knew right away that this was the opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime Big Day. A wedding, a family vacation, and a honeymoon all wrapped up in one tropical package. Courtney said, “It just felt right.” 

Our Couple’s Story

Courtney co-owns a property management and commercial real estate office, and Tristan is a quality manager and auditor for an electronics manufacturing company. They’re a blended family with four kids and five pets. For family time, they enjoy hanging out at home watching movies or going outside on little adventures. And for date nights, Courtney and Tristan love escape rooms, concerts, and comedy shows.

Courtney and Tristan met at their two oldest sons’ “fund-run” event. Since first grade, their boys had grown to be close friends, and Courtney and Tristan began chatting over parental anecdotes and sharing fun stories. Soon Courtney and Tristan were also friendly acquaintances, but in this case, there was no denying the spark of romance!

Our couple got engaged in what Courtney describes as “the most simple and silliest of ways.” While in the comfort of their own home, Tristan set up an intricate scavenger hunt, but Courtney was so nervous (suspecting what he was up to), that she had HIM find the ring for her! Stephanie and Sam’s Beach Wedding in Maui featured sweeping ocean views and the wild tropics of the island’s northern coast. The day was bright and sunny, with a speckling of cloud coverage and plenty of Paia’s famous trade winds. This special union was the perfect blend of beauty and rustic elegance.

When Stephanie made her entrance through the woods of Baldwin Beach, Sam’s look of pure joy was unforgettable. And we get why! Wearing a glittering gown in a shade of caramel to match the soft sands, Stephanie is simply stunning. Her elegant up-do perfectly frames her lovely face, and the gilded tiara kept it secure in the playful winds.

Led by Reverend Kuya, Stephanie and Sam shared their vows while standing in a flower circle of blooms to match the bride’s bouquet. Traditional ceremony arches are restricted on public beaches, so this ring of beauty “lei’d” in its place. We love how serene and genuine Stephanie and Sam are as they tie their lives together. Our Couple’s Story

Stephanie and Sam met while working in a skilled nursing facility. She’s employed as a speech-language pathologist, and Sam is a physical therapy assistant. They remained just friends for a year before dating and were engaged on a cruise in 2019. Stephanie has a young daughter from a previous marriage, and Sam has blossomed into a wonderful parent. Rachel and Neil’s Destination Wedding in Maui took place on the slopes of the Dragon Fruit Farm, overlooking the glistening blue waters of the island’s west shore. The day was flooded with brilliant lighting and punctuated by cool, tropical breezes. With a handful of loved ones watching on, Rachel and Neil’s union could only be described as gorgeous and unforgettable. 

The Destination Wedding in Maui

The ceremony opened with the customary blowing of the conch shell, which cued Rachel and Neil’s daughter to begin the petal toss. With the sweetest face on the planet, we loved how professional she was in her role, careful to drop each handful with purpose and grace. Shortly after, our bride stepped onto the manicured lawn. Wearing a form-fitting gown with her hair loosely plaited, Rachel is simply radiant. 

Following the ceremony at the Dragon Fruit Farm, we took the short drive with Rachel and Neil to Launiupoko Beach. The sun had just dipped into its magic place, where the island comes alive with soft pastel lighting moments before the sunset bursts through the sky. The result was pure beauty. 

Our Couple’s Story

Rachel is a Legal Clerk at the district attorney’s office in Santa Clara, and Neil is a Deputy Sheriff (Thank you for your service!). They met through a mutual friend at a bar and hit it off instantly, bonding over a conversation about body and figure building.

While Rachel says they don’t have a magic engagement story, they’re both excited to be married and have their children be a part of their destination wedding in Maui. And that’s the purest magic of all!

Set up by three different sets of mutual friends, Julie and Jason’s Maui Beach Elopement was a day many knew was destined to happen! Uniting their two beautiful families on the shore of Ironwoods, this special ceremony had all the joy a couple could hope for–plus gorgeous tropical backdrops and four amazing kids!

Julie made her entrance on the shore wearing a relaxed yet elegant boho-inspired gown and carrying a Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet of island flowers. We love how her beachy up-do and soft ringlets framer her glowing face. Inspired by the bride, our couple’s daughters perfectly tie in the beachy style with unique cotton gowns in the bohemian vibe. Wearing a French blue blazer with navy slacks, Jason is looking pretty sleek himself! 

Julie and Jason charmed us with their genuine love and adoration. A moment didn’t pass without a tender glance or full-hearted laughter. When true love hits, it can’t be containted!

Our Couple’s Story

Julie is a teacher, and Jason is a software developer. They each have two kids from previous marriages and were thrilled all four of them could be here for the Maui Beach Elopement. Together for eleven years, Julie and Jason planned to get married last May before COVID hit.

While Cheryl and Christian would have loved a large wedding in their hometown of Washington DC’s metro area, they both felt that it was safest to elope in Maui and celebrate later when things get better. And we can’t think of a more intimate or beautiful Plan B! Basked in the soft light of the late afternoon and with the crisp, salty air of the ocean on their cheeks, Cheryl and Christian celebrated their union with just their closest loved ones watching on.

Our Couple’s Story

Christian works in IT for the government, and Cheryl is a registered nurse. They have two beautiful and brilliant children, Juliana and Isabella, and love to travel! Pre-pandemic, Cheryl and Christian sought out adventures to neighboring states, but with the new stay-at-home era, they keep their voyages closer to home. Their trip to elope in Maui is their first big journey since the pandemic began! 

Cheryl and Christian met online a few years ago. For their third anniversary, they celebrated with a lunch out on the town. On their way home, they debated dining in or having dinner out with their daughters. Imagine Cheryl’s surprise when they walked into their home to find their two best friends (both of whom were chefs) already preparing dinner in our couple’s kitchen!

Cheryl was surprised, but Christian quickly went to work putting the finishing touches on their meal. Before they could sit down and eat, someone knocked on the door. Cheryl’s brother and cousin had joined the party! At one point, Cheryl turned and there was Christian, down on his knee, asking Cheryl to make him the luckiest man in the world. Paige and Eric, like so many of our wonderful couples, had to postpone their 2020 Maui Beach Wedding. But they didn’t give up on their dream! One year later and here they are, saying “I do” on the glittering shore with the sweeping ocean views in the backdrop! Paige made her debut on the arm of her adoring father, wearing a chiffon dress with floral applique and a cathedral-length train. Eric turned, taking in the view of the love of his life walking towards him. Paige and Eric were married prior to their Maui Beach Wedding, but when Paige crossed the threshold of sand, the moment was pure first-look magic.

One of the reasons we love Southside Beach is because of its expansive westward-facing views. The sunset is literally directly behind our radiant couple! “When we first landed in Maui in September, I took Adam and my parents (who have never been to Maui), to Ironwoods beach.  They all fell in love with it, and to this day say that was their favorite spot.  The walkway, lava rock, and views were captivating.  When it came down to picking our location, it was a no-brainer.” And we’re certain she made a perfect choice! Just look how this beautiful family glows against the shore! 

Our Couple’s Story

Adam works in audiovisual installation, and Kristen is a nurse practitioner and the proud stepmom of Alyssa and Tyler. Their love story is beautiful, and Kristen does such a good job at telling it, we just have to share it in her words: “We met through my last job and knew each other for many months before going on our first date…which I remember calling my mom after and saying, ‘That was the best first date I’ve ever been on! We laughed, we skipped, and our conversation was so easy.'”

“Adam and I talk about the moment we first held hands, I remember where we were standing in downtown Cleveland and the feeling I felt when it happened.  That exact place is where he proposed two years later on the anniversary of our first date.” 

“We came to Maui in September of 2018 as a couple, along with my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.  I’ll never forget floating in the pool and saying…. ‘I can picture us getting Maui’d someday.  Here with the kids and our family by our side to celebrate our love.’  Well, now we get to make that our reality.”

Our Couple’s Story

Jon is a sales manager for Toyota and Isabelle is a new stay-at-home mom. They met for the first time when Jon hired Isabelle as a sales representative. They clicked right away, and soon Jon realized he didn’t just hire a standout worker, he’d also hired the love of his life!

Together they have two children, a seven-year-old son and a 1.5-year-old daughter. Jon proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2020 while they were out to dinner. He put his plan into action when Isabelle got up to go to the bathroom, carefully placing the ring box under her napkin. Clearly, she said yes! Isabelle and Jon love to seek out new culinary trends together and travel as often as their schedule allows. We could not get enough of the love and cute moments shared between these two!

Heather is an x-ray technologist at a hospital, and J.R. is the store manager of a Valvoline instant oil change. They met at a mutual friend’s house, and if Heather had an x-ray handy that day, she would have noticed J.R.’s heart was practically leaping out of his chest! Their family has made it a tradition to visit Maui every year, so Jon knew exactly where he’d propose. During a luau on the island, Jon asked Heather to marry him. Following the ceremony, Alecia and Tyler celebrated their Maui Beach Elopement with a single white tiered cake decorated with flowers to match the bouquet. If we could describe this wedding in three words, it would be simple, elegant, and joyous. 

Our Couple’s Story

Alecia and Tyler met in high school and soon realized they’d met the love of their lives. They were engaged in 2019 while visiting Tyler’s Mom in Oahu. During a trip to Haleiwa beach, Tyler proposed in front of the sunset, and the rest is history! Our bride shares their story:

“Our first Maui visit was in September of 2018 (and was incredibly planned entirely by Tyler, as a surprise for me and to do something special after not seeing each other for 13 months prior due to Tyler not being able to take leave). Tyler just got out of the military this February and will be going to college as a next step. We were long distance for the majority of our relationship prior to Tyler’s military separation back in February, which we had been waiting for since we got together just a few months before he was sent off to boot camp. Another cool tidbit is that we recently found out that unknowingly attended the same school when we were in second grade!”

No Bridal Chorus to keep rhythm, just the deep notes of the conch shell and the gentle hum of the ocean. It was truly a beautiful moment. We loved the genuine and sweet smiles shared by our couple as they exchanged vows and celebrated their Maui Beach Wedding with their guests. 

Our Couple’s Story

We mentioned it earlier, but it needs to be said again–Crisha is a police officer (Thank you for your service!)–and Jeff works as an engineer. Crisha and Jeff met through mutual friends, and one of them was named “the gym.” They both love to workout, but when they first made each other’s acquaintance, Crisha was busy completing the Police Academy, and Jeff didn’t want to be the guy who hits on a girl at the gym. So it took them months to finally start dating!

But they didn’t hold back when it came to couple’s adventures. Crisha and Jeff were engaged on the beach… in Jamaica! Now their engagement journey comes to an end, and the beauty of married life begins with a Maui Beach Wedding. Keep scrolling for more great moments from this gorgeous couple!
