Julia and Karl’s elopement in Maui took place during the golden hour on the shore of Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua. With nothing but the lush sand and rustic ocean in the backdrop, they took the next big step in their love story and said “I do.” We’ve seen a lot of Maui skies in our profession, but we have to say, this display of Renaissance-worthy cloud designs takes the (wedding) cake! Not to mention the Renaissance-worthy couple! 

The Elopement in Maui

Julia and Karl began the ceremony hand-in-hand. Wearing a classic gown with an elegant silhouette and a train that came alive in the breeze, Julia was simply beautiful. Karl sported a classic navy suit with an aquamarine tie that perfectly highlighted the deep blues of the ocean. We could not get enough of the sweet moments shared between these two! There was no shortage of deep and meaningful glances throughout the Big Day. 

Our Couple’s Story

Karl works in law enforcement (to which we say, thank you for your service!), and Julia is a stay-at-home mom to their adorable one-year-old. Together they enjoy all things outdoorsy and adventuring with their two HUGE dogs!

Maui holds a special place in their hearts as they were engaged on the island in 2018! It has been such an honor for us to witness Julia and Karl’s relationship come full circle with an elopement in Maui. Keep browsing for more of their special day!

Lindsey and Austin’s Hawaii Venue Wedding featured bursts of pink, the sweeping view of south Maui, and a couple so in love it had us on cloud nine. Gannon’s Ceremony Lawn set the stage with a backdrop of glistening ocean and fuchsia bougainvillea blooms that perfectly matched our couple’s wedding colors. It was as if the island had been long preparing for Lindsey and Austin to say “I do.”

We loved all the thought that went into the details of this Hawaii venue wedding. Sweet touches coordinated together with highlights of fuchsia pink. Lindsey and Austin brought their own sensibility to their ceremony while allowing us to take care of the big things so they could simply enjoy the beautiful moment together. 

Wearing navy with a pop of pink, Austin looks like a man about to marry the love of his life! Lindsey made her grand entrance draped in an elegant gown with a cathedral-length train and a veil fit for a queen. Her sweet smile says it all, she’s marrying her best friend. 

Lindsey and Austin knew they wanted to marry in Hawaii. Austin’s family owns a condo on Maui, and the two have enjoyed many beautiful days beneath the tropical sun. Gannon’s Restaurant in Wailea was the perfect location for Lindsey and Austin’s Hawaii Venue Wedding, not only is it a stone’s throw away from white sand beaches, but it also features an onsite reception area perfect for parties of all sizes.

Our Couple’s Story

Lindsey works as a paralegal for a family law attorney, and Austin is an airline pilot for Frontier Airlines. It comes as no surprise that they both love traveling! Lindsey and Austin met online a few years ago. They got together for brunch and a football game, but it wasn’t the quarterback who made the epic shot, it was cupid! They hit it off immediately and the rest is wedding day history!

Tianna and Anton’s Maui Beach Elopement was elegant and flooded with tropical goodness. Set on the sands of Lahaina Shores, Tianna and Anton tied their lives together with the Maui ocean watching on. This wedding day was nothing short of take-your-breath-away beautiful.

Speaking of take-your-breath-away beautiful, when Tianna made her entrance on the shore, Anton wasn’t the only one breathless. It seemed as if a hush even came over the ocean. Wearing a vibrant dress with floral applique and a radiant smile, Tianna is simply stunning.

With her perfect waves crowned with pink and white roses, this bride is practically a princess! We’re in awe! And we can’t get over Anton’s adorable reaction. These two are without a doubt marrying the love of their life!

Tianna is a medical secretary and Anton works as a doorman. One day Tianna walked through his door (AKA Tinder match) and the chemistry was instant! These two love to travel and are excited to put Maui on the map of places visited! But the thing they’re most excited about? Their little bundle of joy who’s on the way! For their Maui Venue Wedding, Amanda and Michael said “I do” in front of the aquamarine ocean and bathed in warm sunlight. The 5 Palms set the stage as loved ones watched on from the manicured greens of the venue. The moment Amanda and Michael tied their lives together, the happiness, excitement, and pure joy were palpable!

Set against the shore of Keawakapu Beach, the 5 Palms Restaurant was the perfect location for Amanda and Michael’s Maui Venue Wedding. With a much higher guest count capacity than a beach wedding but with the same stunning ocean view, this venue perfectly paired Amanda and Michael’s dream of marrying on the beach while having plenty of loved ones in attendance. 

Our Couple’s Story

Amanda and Michael both work in corrections, with Amanda serving as a caseworker for the Nevada Department of Corrections and Michael as a Correctional Sgt for the city jail. They met through mutual friends and bonded over their love of fantasy football and sarcasm (which, by the way, is totally *not* super adorable. #Sarcasm ;).

Together they have a Miniature Australian Shepherd, AKA their incredibly spoiled and cute furbaby! Amanda and Michael enjoy anything outdoorsy and spending time with family and friends. 

When the time was right, Michael had an incredible proposal idea, but his plans were altered due to COVID shutdowns. No problem, he rearranged and came up with plan two… which was also canceled! Finally, he decided on a simple and classically romantic proposal. Michael asked Amanda the big question in the park, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way! From the moment Nicole and Bryan set foot on the warm sand, we knew their Hawaii Beach Elopement was going to be something special. Set against the shore of Maluaka Beach, Maui did not hold back when it came to gorgeous lighting and scenery. Nicole always knew she wanted to get married in Hawaii. And the reality was a dream come true and then some! We could not get enough of this stunning bride’s energy. As always, the Maui sun was magical, but the winner for warmth and a beautiful light that day was hands-down Nicole! We’re loving her sleeveless gown with drapes and drapes of chiffon and an eye-catching veil to match! And Bryan looked handsome in a coal-black suit with a blush tie, all while wearing the happiest smile. 

Our Couple’s Story

Nicole and Bryan both work in insurance. They met in the usual 21st-century fashion, through a dating app! From the moment they first met, they knew their connection was something special. Within a year, they brought a house together and have built an amazing life.

Two years following their first date, Bryan knew he was with his person. He arranged to propose in the comfort of the home they’d brought together, getting to his knee in the kitchen and asking Nicole to marry him. And the rest of the story is right here on our blog!

We were thrilled to be part of Jenna and Ben’s Venue Wedding in Maui on the lush green slopes of the Dragon Fruit Farm. The weather featured nothing but sunshine and spectacular scenes of the sweeping ocean. With an unparalleled view and gentle breezes rolling in from the valleys of West Maui Mountains, the wedding guests were treated to a ceremony that was simply gorgeous.

Our session began with a few cute just the girls shots with Jenna and her bridal crew. The Dragon Fruit Farm is a fantastic spot for a venue wedding in Maui because it has a sweet little bungalow right on the property, perfect for adding those last-minute accents. We are loving Jenna’s fresh-faced style. With dewy cheeks and perfectly set hair, she is absolutely beautiful and giving off all the happy bride feels!  

And it’s little wonder what’s got her smiling! Looking great in a French blue suit, Ben was the epitome of an over-the-moon groom. With sweet teary-eyed moments, the love these two share was almost tangible.

Tiffany and Silvio never dreamt of a big wedding, all they wanted was to become husband and wife in an elegant and unforgettable way. With Gaucho Visual live streaming the event to loved ones back home, Tiffany and Silvio chose to elope in Hawaii. Po’olenalena Beach put on a show of tropical wonder, and the day was nothing short of perfection.

Tiffany and Silvio were all smiles during their Hawaii elopement! Who wouldn’t be?! Marrying the love of your life is a day worth celebrating! And it was so clear that Tiffany and Silvio were thrilled to say “I do”! Our couple cherished every moment on the golden sand beach. Their soft touches and genuine looks of love were never-ending.

Wearing a spectacular gown with floral applique and the perfect beach wedding hairstyle, Tiffany is take-your-breath-away beautiful! Looking pretty great himself, Silvio brings out the best of the deep ocean in a tailored suit of cobalt blue. How gorgeous are these two?! 

We are all about these beauties! Tiffany requested a custom bouquet designed with accents of lilies and monstera leaves. The best part? The way the soft pinks bring out the glow of our beautiful bride! 

Our Couple’s Story

Silvio lived in Brazil and then Oregon, while Tiffany grew up in Wisconsin as a true midwesterner. Tiffany works in marketing design and Silvio is in game design. They met in San Francisco in 2019 and fell in love fast.

Together they have one fur baby and love being creative, drawing, and crafting with a good game night sprinkled in. They enjoy cooking together (even before the pandemic!), especially recipes involving garlic. In October they moved to Portland to be closer to friends and family.

Tiffany and Silvio met through Bumble, right when Tiffany was just about to give up on the platform. She told herself, one more, and sure enough, that one more turned out to be “the one.” It took only a month for them to realize they were in love.

We were cheering along with the guests during Raphaela and Timothy’s Maui Venue Wedding at Gannon’s in Wailea. The Maui Venue Wedding

Gannon’s Grassy Knoll set the stage. With onsight music played by the venue, Timothy made his entrance with Aydrian, our couple’s brilliant eleven-year-old daughter (who has the cutest smile ever!). Moments later, Raphaela graced the ceremony lawn in the arm of her father, Diego. Wearing a gown with luscious pleating and plenty of eye-catching elements, Raphaela was absolutely stunning. 

Reverend Richardo led the ceremony, and soon Raphaela and Timothy were celebrating their union with friends and family. It was clear these two were ecstatic to tie the knot! 

Our Couple’s Story

Raphaela is a registered dental assistant and Tim works as a… wait for it… detective! The two met a couple of years ago at a bar. Raphaela took one look at his smile and knew she had to say hello. From then on, Raphaela and Timothy spent all their free time together and fell head-over-heels in love. 

It didn’t take long for detective Tim to piece the clues together and realize Raphaela was *the one.* During their first-ever family vacation via a Puerto Rico cruise, Tim stepped out to pick up tacos while they were at their AirBnB pitstop.

Soon daughter Aydrian got a text that Timothy had the tacos set up and ready to go on the rooftop. When Raphaela reached the roof and saw Timothy’s hands behind his back, she knew this was the moment. She said yes! And the rest is right here in this blog! Including a little… miracle!

Darya and Bryson’s Beach Wedding in Maui was blanketed in the golden morning sun. Southside Beach did the decorating for the special occasion, with piercing blue waters and a carpet of powder-soft sand. Only puffs of gentle white clouds sailed across the sky, making this incredible day a must-see tropical dream.

Wearing a charcoal gray suit with a mosaic-tiled tie, Bryson looked out at the expansive view as he awaited his special someone. Making her entrance on the sand wearing an elegant, clean-cut gown by Vera Wang, Darya was simply stunning. With the endless warm glances and shared laughter between them, there was no question how perfect Darya and Bryson are for each other. 

Our Couple’s Story

Darya is in software sales and Bryson owns a personal training studio. They don’t have any kids but have their hands full with not one, but three dogs. They enjoy being outside and active and visiting new places, like Maui! This is Darya and Bryson’s first time in Hawaii, and what a memorable occasion it is! 

Darya and Bryson have known each other for some time, having met while she was training at his gym. They were both in relationships at the time, however, so things remained casual and friendly. It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that they reconnected through mutual friends. Both Darya and Bryson had expressed interest in each other, so they began talking on the phone and messaging on the weeks leading up to their big first date. Wearing an open-backed gown in ivory with a jeweled bodice and a sweeping train fit for a cathedral, Miriam is simply gorgeous. We love how her stylish loose waves and custom bouquet of white anthurium and monstera leaf add the perfect touch of tropical goodness to her elegant look.

We were thrilled to coordinate Kayla and Randy’s Maui Beach Elopement on the rustic shore of Baldwin. Together with Kayla’s parents and son, our couple celebrated six years of love with a ceremony that was nothing short of beautiful. With every moment worth highlighting, this was a day plucked from the stars.

Wearing a strapless gown with a show-stopping train, Kayla was simply gorgeous. We loved how the subtle pearl accents called attention to her glowing features and beachy waves. Doing his part in bringing style to the shore, Randy looks modern and sophisticated in a tailored navy vest and coal gray slacks, all tied together with accents of leather. Is this a pin-worthy couple, or what?! 

But by far the most beautiful thing on the beach that day was the love shared between Kayla and Randy. And no matter how many times they wear those smiles or exchange those glances, a love like this will never go out of style. 

Our Couple’s Story

Kayla and Randy live together in Lake Stevens, Washington with Kayla’s 8-year-old son Brayden (AKA super cutie!!–keep scrolling!), their two cats Luna & Leo, and their French bulldog puppy Kirby. Kayla works in medical billing and Randy works at Boeing. 

A couple of years ago, our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, had the pleasure of capturing Kayla and Randy’s save-the-date photos for their wedding. Together for six years, Kayla and Randy met on Tinder and hit it off immediately. One special day, they embarked on a hiking exposition, but they ended up getting so lost that they had to climb on boulders to get to the top! Chris owns a landscaping company, and Adriana works for a general contractor company in the risk department. Together they have four children, a son and daughter from Chris and two daughters from Adriana. They met at work and have been together for roughly seven years. When Chris felt the moment was right, he proposed to Adriana on a casual Sunday with all her family there to celebrate!

And here they are, five years later and living the dream, getting married on an island where Adriana describes as a place “You can breathe peace and come back to the real world full of positive energy!!” We think that perfectly encapsulates this beautiful Micro Wedding in Maui!
