We loved helping plan this bride and groom’s Maui Destination Wedding! In 2015 Reanna attended a Simple Maui Wedding, so we’re excited it was now her turn. It was a beautiful day at DT Fleming! The sand was white and clean, there were blue skies speckled with clouds, and we even had a little bit of rain after the ceremony which brought on the most amazing sunset for wedding photos!

This Maui Destination Wedding was full of thoughtful details and touching moments. One of Reanna’s bridesmaids gifted the bride and the other bridesmaids sandals (or slippers as we call them here in Hawaii), with our newlyweds’ last name on them. She even handcrafted shells on them too! Reanna said she’s the crafty one and knew it took her a long time to make these gifts, so they were really special! Our personal favorite part of the day was just after the ceremony ended, Shawn’s daughter Lily was balling with tears because she was so happy! It even made Shawn cry, it was such a tender moment and one we know none of them will ever forget. And neither will we! After meeting later in life, Sharron and Mark were so excited to get married with an intimate Maui Elopement on the beach! They wanted something relaxed and simple with just the two of them to celebrate their love and excitement for the future! They chose to get married in Maui because they were already planning on taking a cruise, and so it just worked out. Mark is a veteran for the Coast Gaurd and this was his first cruise, while it’s Sharron’s third! Neither of them had ever been to Hawaii before, but they have both always wanted to visit. We absolutely love that this couple is able to enjoy so many adventures together! They also both enjoy working on their older cars, and it’s obvious they love traveling with each other 🙂 .

Our favorite part of their relationship is how they met! Mark was renting a house in Sharron’s neighborhood and he would wave daily as she went to work and back! How cute is that? They started talking and then Mark asked her out to dinner, and the rest is history! We’re so glad these two found one another. Not only are they a perfect match, but they also looked incredible together at their Maui Elopement. Sharron was a truly beautiful bride in a simple yet stunning wedding dress. As Chelsie finished getting ready with the help of loved ones, we could see the excitement in her eyes to finally marry the love of her life. Prior to our bride’s big entrance, her niece and nephew, Sadie and Tyler led the way with balloons and the cutest sign, “Here comes ChiChi”. So sweet! We love when couples add little personal touches like this for a Maui Venue Wedding. It makes it all the more special! After their beautiful ceremony, our newlyweds were ready to head down to the beach for wedding portraits. And we are obsessed with the way Chelsie’s wedding dress glistened in the setting sunlight. The lace and beaded details on this dress were absolute perfection and she wisely chose to wear her hair up to show off the back! We love it! Regine and Brian had the most gorgeous day for their Maui Elopement. Not only was the lighting on point, but so was this bride and groom’s wedding attire! Eloping doesn’t mean you can’t still dress up fancy and have a wedding day to remember, and we love that these two went all out. Regine was absolutely radiant in a wedding dress with the most amazing lace details! Paired with a flower crown and all white bouquet, she was a bridal vision. Brian was looking classy in a sharp black suit and tie. He rocked it and looked perfect standing by the love of his life!

After a beautiful intimate ceremony for their Maui Elopement at Southside Beach, our newlyweds headed over to Maluaka Beach for wedding portraits. Both of these locations are absolutely stunning! I mean just see for yourself. And we are obsessed with how their portraits turned out, our sister company, Karma Hill Photography nailed it! Everything about the way this couple interacted during our time with them was inspiring. We can’t think of a better start to our day than a Maui Venue Wedding at Gannon’s! This location is a favorite because of the beautiful scenery and view. I mean just look at it! Rebecca and Angelo were so excited for their Maui Beach Wedding. His parents live on Oahu, so they frequently visit there but it was their first time here! And they both agree that Maui’s even more beautiful than Oahu! Ironwoods Beach is definitely a unique spot and it’s epic cliffs make for truly amazing wedding portraits. See for yourself!

We love that they chose to include a flower circle to add a little more festivity to their Maui Beach Wedding. Plus check out how perfectly it coordinated with the bride’s bouquet and flower crown! The tropical vibe at this Maui destination wedding was too good for words. It was especially fun to see that our couple was able to have their baby boy, AJ present for their wedding. Isn’t he adorable? It’s obvious Rebecca and Angelo love each other and the family they’ve created together very much, they also have 3 more children from different relationships back home. So our newlyweds were excited to share that their wedding night would be their first time alone in years! They are so grateful that grandma and grandpa were able to babysit as they honeymoon 🙂 . Amy and Stephen had a beautiful setting for their Maui Venue Wedding. We love that they chose to include this Vintage Styled Arch for a sweet romantic vibe! How cute are those little antique canisters with flowers in them? We can’t get enough! Set up on a grassy lawn overlooking the ocean, this bride and groom were more than ready to get married.

After reading heartfelt vows to each other and saying, “I do”, we love the way Amy leapt into Stephen’s arms for their first kiss as husband and wife! Such an adorable moment and we are so glad our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, captured it on camera 🙂 . And these two were looking absolutely picture perfect! Amy was the most beautiful bride in a gorgeous wedding gown that fit her perfectly. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo with a veil and floral hair accessory for the finishing touch. We loved her entire look, she was absolutely stunning from head to toe. Even her shoes were perfection, and just the right pop of color to compliment her groom’s red bowtie and pocket square. In a traditional suit, Stephen was looking classy and wedding ready!

The Four Seasons was the perfect location for this couple’s Maui Venue Wedding! They were able to have a cocktail hour on the ceremony lawn with a reception at a restaurant on the same property. Yogi and Kevin were so excited for their Maui Beach Wedding! Plus they were relieved we helped plan the perfect wedding day for them, simple and intimate! With their only wedding guests being both of their parents, it truly was an intimate occasion and one we know they will remember for the rest of their lives.

One of our favorite parts of working with brides and grooms for a Maui Beach Wedding is getting to know the story of how they met. And this is one we particularly love! Kevin is an Army Officer and works as a Foreign Area Officer, so he has moved around every 2 years. He met Yogi in Beijing in 2014 while he was stationed there. After Kevin moved back to the US they had a 4-year long distance relationship until Yogi moved to the US in 2018. Within those four years, they traveled to lots of places together and Kevin proposed while they were on a trip to Taiwan in 2016! How awesome is that? It’s obvious the love they share runs deep and we know they will have the most wonderful life together. Thank you, Yogi and Kevin, for choosing Simple Maui Wedding to make your wedding dreams come true! It’s always special when we have the opportunity to help plan a Maui Beach Elopement and working with Natalia and Joshua was no exception! After meeting online a year and a half ago, they were so excited to be getting married. They knew after just 2 weeks of dating that this was it! We could tell just by looking at them they are a perfect match.

As we watched this bride and groom exchange personal vows to one another during their Maui Beach Elopement we couldn’t help but feel inspired by their love! And it was truly touching to witness as they released hibiscus flowers into the ocean in honor of Joshua’s sister, Nicole, who has passed. What a beautiful way to include a loved one! We couldn’t have asked for a better day for this Maui Beach Wedding. The tide was low and there was so much beach for their ceremony! They were also lucky to have a slightly breezy, sunny afternoon. It was gorgeous! This was our bride and groom’s first time to Maui, and after considering an elopement they decided to share their day with close family and friends. Their loved ones were so excited to be here, there was no hesitation to join them on the warm sandy shore!

Bryanna and Joshua looked absolutely incredible at their Maui Beach Wedding! She styled her own hair and make-up, and her aunt made all the silk florals. They were so pretty that we were surprised they weren’t real! As a finishing touch, an image of Bryanna’s late mom was pinned to her bouquet. Joshua also wore a pinned image of his late grandpa. We love these thoughtful details and know they were meaningful to this couple as well! Being part of their special day was truly an honor.
