We were thrilled when Lori and Jonathon decided to have their Maui Destination Wedding at The Steeple House. This location is one of our favorites! And how could it not be? From the intimate bridal suite for getting ready, to the outdoor setting and beautiful indoor option it’s the wedding venue dreams are made of. We especially love that this couple decided to have their ceremony outside with their reception inside. Talk about a perfect set up!
Prior to their Maui Destination Wedding Lori and Jonathon were both a little nervous so having a first look was a really sweet moment for them. We love that they were able to share this time alone just before their ceremony. And we’re confident it’s an experience neither of them will ever forget! After saying, “I do” surrounded by loved ones our newlyweds were ready to head down to the beach for portraits with our sister company. Not just any beach though, this couple enjoyed a nice walk at one of our most popular beach locations, Ironwoods. So as you can see from beginning to end, this truly was a day to remember. We are so glad this couple chose us to help plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams! They were so sweet and such a pleasure to work with! Kaitlyn and Colton decided to have a destination wedding so they could really soak in the moment of their special day with loved ones. They gave extra special attention to everyone who made the trip out to Hawaii and made sure everyone was included in their wedding photos.
The love they shared with family and friends at their Maui Venue Wedding was pouring out at all times! Our gorgeous bride had a blast sharing the spotlight with her bridesmaids who wore beautiful sparkling rose gold dresses. With their wedding at Gannon’s and romantic portraits at White Rock this truly a special occasion everyone who attended will never forget! Including us! Being part of Angel and Shane’s Maui Beach Wedding was an absolute pleasure! The connection between these two was so strong and pure it gave us chills. We especially love the way they looked at each other with such sweet and peaceful emotion. It’s obvious they are a perfect match! We have no doubt they will have a long and happy life together 🙂 .
And even though our bride’s mother was so sad she couldn’t attend the ceremony, Angel’s brother stood by to capture every moment on video. Which we thought was so sweet! Having a loved one help out in this way is a great way to document and share the details from a destination wedding. After taking beautiful portraits with our sister company, these newlyweds headed to the Sea House for a delicious celebratory dinner. The perfect ending to an already perfect day! Melissa and Jordan’s Maui Beach Wedding was extra special because of the sentimental meaning of the location they chose for their ceremony. Our bride’s father’s ashes were spread on this beach after he passed away 2 years ago. So we love that they were able to honor him by getting married here! They even brought in a musician from Oahu to play special songs, particularly “In this Life” in memory of Melissa’s father.
Coming from the Bay Area our bride and groom have been to Maui lots of times. In fact it’s their favorite island, just another reason why a Maui Beach Wedding was the perfect choice for this couple! And we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening for their wedding. I mean just check out that sunset! With the perfect amount of cloud coverage, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day for this Maui Destination Wedding. And although there was a bit of a scare of not having the groomsmen’s jackets properly shipped from Men’s Warehouse, they arrived just in time for the ceremony. Other than that, Ashley and Roman were very relaxed on their wedding day. Just as it should be 🙂 .
Our bride and groom could not have been happier to be getting married at their Maui Destination Wedding. The love between these two is so strong it was almost tangible! It’s easy to see just by looking at them that they are a perfect match. Plus they looked incredible in their wedding attire! Ashley rocked an elegant wedding dress by Kenneth Winston from Wedding Belles Boutique in Arizona. And Roman looked dashing in a three piece suit with a teal tie and pocket square to match his groomsmen. Not only did they all look amazing, but they also had an amazing time celebrating together! This bride and groom decided they wanted to share a first look moment prior to their Maui Venue Wedding officially starting. We absolutely adore the look of excitement on Esteban’s face when he turned around and saw Alexandria in her wedding dress! And how could he not look excited? She was absolutely stunning from head to toe!
When it finally came time for their Maui Venue Wedding to begin, everyone stood and turned to watch as our bride’s father escorted her down the aisle. What a beautiful moment, and we’re sure it’s one none of them will ever forget! And if that wasn’t enough to make this the most memorable day ever, our newlyweds also had the most amazing sunset during their portrait session. I mean just take a look at that gorgeous golden glow! We were honored to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Especially since Sarah and Justin are no stranger to the wedding industry. Our groom is a DJ and owns his own sound studio, how cool is that? In fact, moments before their ceremony started, Justin and their ukulele player, Jimi, were singing together to a few tunes! Sarah is a makeup artist and works on brides all the time. So she understood how stressful a wedding day could be. But she left her worries to us and was all smiles the whole day. She loved every part of her wedding day!
To make their Maui Destination Wedding even more special were all the little details they included as thoughtful touches! We especially love the bracelets they added to their wedding attire. These bracelets were a gift from friends who couldn’t make it to their wedding and the coordinates reflect the exact spot they got married! Another gift was Sarah’s blue bracelet, which was from Justin’s sister (and was the perfect “something blue”). We love that this couple will always have these mementos to remember such a special day! Helping Shannon and Nicholas plan the Maui Venue Wedding of their dreams was an absolute honor! They were both so sweet and a pleasure to work with. Plus we were thrilled when they chose to have their ceremony at one of our favorite wedding venues, the Steeple House. This location can’t be beaten, not only is it gorgeous outside but the set up inside is amazing! Just see for yourself!
Not only are we glad we got to be part of this couple’s wedding day, but we are so glad these two found each other! Even if it was in a roundabout way, because let’s be honest, those are always the best stories anyway 🙂 . Our groom is from Australia and our bride is from Michigan, but they ended up meeting in Florida! Nicholas was there working on a boat, and Shannon was visiting on vacation when their paths crossed. They dated long distance for a few years, prior to Shannon making the leap and moving to Australia! Talk about a love story that has traveled the world!
At the close of their Maui Venue Wedding, our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a celebratory dinner at The Plantation House Restaurant. Which is conveniently located just across the street from where they said, “I do”. We told you this location had it all! Prior to their Maui Venue Wedding, this bride and groom have been together since 8th grade! We love that their story has been going on for so long! It was especially fun to see and hear how their family has been involved in their relationship. Ashley’s dad even gave a toast about separating them at the school dance way back when they first met! And her mom is the one that suggested having the wedding in Maui, and we are so glad she did!
After their beautiful ceremony at Dragon Fruit Farm, our newlyweds were ready to head down to the beach for wedding portraits with our sister company. We love that even if a couple chooses to have a Maui Venue Wedding there are always beaches nearby for taking beautiful photos to capture the full beauty of the island. Being part of Emma and David’s Maui Elopement was an absolute pleasure! They were so cute together and helping them plan their wedding was so much fun! One of our favorite parts was how David decided to surprise his bride by arranging for both of their sisters to be here for their ceremony. Emma found out the day before their wedding and was so excited!
After saying, “I do” our newlyweds were excited to share their first dance as husband and wife on the sand at Southside Beach. We were so excited when Tracy and Jared asked us to help make all of their dreams come true by planning this very special and meaningful Maui Venue Wedding. They originally were just coming for a family vacation and along the way decided to also make it a destination wedding, and we are so glad they did 🙂 . Maui is extra special to Tracy because it was her late grandmother’s, who was like her mother growing up, favorite place! So getting married here was a sentimental way for our bride to feel close to her grandmother.
After meeting at a work event (they are both commercial property managers in the Bay Area) 5 years ago, this couple was more than ready to say, “I do” at their Maui Venue Wedding. We couldn’t help but notice how relaxed and in love they both were, just as it should be! With a bond like theirs, we have no doubt they will have the most amazing life together as husband and wife. We had the best time working with Dania and Lonnie as we helped them plan and prepare for the Maui Beach Wedding of their dreams. From the moment we met our bride it was easy to see why Lonnie fell for her! Her hair and makeup were done in Salon 253’s studio right below our office so we got to get a sneak peek before heading to the beach. She was so sweet and excited to be getting married in just a couple of hours!
The smile on her face as she made her entrance with her parents and nieces holding the train of her wedding dress, says it all! As she made her way over to her groom, these two were more than ready to say, “I do”. Due to a higher tide than usual, we chose a location further up on the beach to stay clear of the waves. However just as our couple was sharing their first kiss, an extra long reaching wave skid over their toes. Causing our newlyweds to react with surprise and laughter!
We’re so glad Dania’s brother was filming on an old 8 mm camera and our sister company, Karma Hill Photography was also there to capture the emotion from this ceremony. We know moments like this are the ones they will forever remember from their Maui Beach Wedding and we’re so glad we were able to witness it!
