Surrounded by loved ones, including Aaron’s two sons Jack and Max, this bride and groom were so excited to say, “I do” at their Maui Destination Wedding. And after meeting 5 years ago this couple was more than ready to get married! We especially love how Misty wrote her own vows to Aaron’s sons. It was a truly touching moment and one we know none of them will ever forget!
After their ceremony, and taking a few gorgeous portraits with our sister company our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with more wedding festivities. From dinner to dancing and a cake cutting ceremony, this was a truly memorable Maui Destination Wedding. We love all these candid shots from Misty and Aaron’s reception because they perfectly capture the love and joy that was in the air at Gannon’s. The evening ended with the most magical sunset shining down on our happy couple! Talk about a perfect ending to an already perfect day! Coming from Seattle this bride and groom visit the island every year, making a Maui Destination Wedding the perfect option for them! And we are thrilled that we got to help them plan this very special day. After dating in high school and then reconnecting years later, Krisha and Michael have now been together for ten years and were more than ready to get married!
Their Maui Destination Wedding at Polo Beach could not have been more perfect! We especially love that this couple decided to include a traditional Jewish glass breaking after their ceremony. Personal touches like this always make for memorable moments! One thing’s for sure, this is a day neither of them will ever forget 🙂 . Julia and Vincent chose to have their Maui Venue Wedding at a separate location at one of our most popular wedding venues. Gannon’s Molokini Lookout set higher up on a big grassy lawn. Due to a delay in some of their wedding guests, this couple decided to take wedding portraits prior to their ceremony beginning. It was so sweet to see them interact together during these quiet moments!
One reason we love the option of a Maui Venue Wedding is that it gives you more flexibility with your guest list. Due to Hawaii regulations, you can only have 30 wedding guests at the beach, but Gannon’s Molokini Lookout is a large enough setting for a big wedding party. So after taking group photos here, they all headed down to Gannon’s reception area to continue the celebration! Thank you, Julia and Vincent, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding! After having both just finishing Law School Cassity and Donny were so excited to have a little getaway and Maui Beach Elopement! And even though they chose to keep their wedding intimate without any guests, these two were joined by the bun in Cassity’s oven. Isn’t she the cutest preggo bride you’ve ever seen!? We love that she chose to still wear a form-fitting wedding dress to show off her adorable bump. You’d never guess this is her 6th pregnancy! She’s seriously a babe!
It’s obvious Donny thinks so too, the way he looked at her during their Maui Beach Elopement gave us chills! We especially love that these two were able to just have fun together and keep things simple for their special day. Which is exactly how we think it should be! As Ry and Samir gathered with their closest friends and family for their Maui Beach Wedding we knew this would be a day to remember! Especially since this couple hadn’t seen some of their loved ones in a long time. With Samir being in the military moving a lot comes with the territory. And Ry has always been the best partner for him, supporting him no matter what! Even though they actually got married a few years ago, our groom knew his bride deserved a very special wedding and he had an amazing day planned for her!
Ry and Samir are originally from Washington and are true nature lovers, so they had a lot of appreciation for Maui and the beautiful ocean. They truly fit right in! And although they dream of being stationed in Texas one day who knows maybe they will end up in Hawaii! Or at least back for a visit 🙂 . From the moment we started helping Erin and Jeffrey plan for their Maui Destination Wedding, we knew it would be a day to remember! We especially love how they involved Erin’s son, Westin in the process. He was even on the phone call and could hardly contain his excitement for the upcoming wedding! They even included him in the ceremony, by not only giving him a lei but also a ring too. It was such a touching moment and we were honored to witness it!
And if that wasn’t enough to make this Maui Destination Wedding one of our top favorites, our bride’s styling was out of this world good! Erin wore the perfect watercolor blue skirt by Chantel Lauren, and custom engraved chucks with their wedding date and the words, “I Do!”. When we asked her what made her choose a nontraditional wedding dress, she replied that she disliked every white dress she tried on. Paired with a flower crown and Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet, Erin was the perfect beach bride in her watercolor wedding dress! I mean just check how awesome that skirt looks flying in the wind. We were thrilled when Bria and Michael’s Maui Destination Wedding day finally arrived! Not only was it a beautiful day, but it was also full of excitement. This bride knew she wanted to get married at Poolenalena Beach for two years! So you can imagine how happy she was to finally say, “I do ” on this sandy shore.
And this location definitely didn’t disappoint! I mean just look at it! There was an extra high tide during their ceremony and just before they exchanged leis, a wave surged up almost wetting Bria’s dress. So we quickly moved the ceremony near a tree further inshore. With loved ones, including Bria’s daughter Kaylee standing nearby, this bride and groom were more than ready to get married!
After their first kiss, Bria’s sister played “Under the Sea” from the Little Mermaid. And then it was time for wedding portraits prior to a celebratory dinner at Nick’s Fishmarket. Where Bria had her first Goldfish cracker snacks after a year and a half of being on a paleo diet! We loved watching her celebrate in this simple yet enjoyable way 🙂 . The festive ocean theme of this Maui Destination Wedding made for a very memorable evening for all. Courtney and Corey were such a great couple to work with as we helped them plan their Maui Beach Wedding. They couldn’t have been sweeter or more in love! From the moment Courtney made her entrance, we knew this would be a day to remember. She looked absolutely radiant in a boho wedding dress from Free People and simple flower accessories in her hair. With her Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet as the final touch, she was the perfect beach bride!
Having lived on Oahu previously Courtney was no stranger to the Aloha State. And we love that since she hadn’t ever been here she decided that having a Maui Beach Wedding was the perfect way to explore more of Hawaii. We had the best time being part of this bride and groom’s Maui Beach Wedding. And we couldn’t have asked for a better day for it! I mean just look at that bright blue ocean, it was seriously breathtakingly beautiful! Plus it made for the perfect backdrop at their wedding ceremony 🙂 .
While Abigael had been here 4 times previously, this was Jack’s first time visiting and we’re confident they will both be back again! How could they possibly stay away after getting married here?! After their Maui Beach Wedding, our newlyweds also made plans to visit Oahu for a night to see family and then head over to Kauai for their honeymoon. What a perfect way to start off married life! After being together for 10 years, Kelsie and Nathan were so excited to get married at a Maui Destination Wedding! They’re from Australia and love Maui. So this was the perfect spot for them to say, “I do”. And we are so glad their family and friends were able to join them for this special occasion!
We could not have asked for a more incredible day for this Maui Destination Wedding! The lighting was perfect and the evening ended with the most amazing sunset. But that’s not all that caught our attention. This bride and groom’s wedding styling was also absolute perfection! Kelsie looked stunning in a wedding dress by Natalie Rolt. And Nathan looked dashing in a white button-up paired with classy yet casual khaki’s. Perfect for a ceremony on the beach! Well done you two 🙂 .

Being part of this couple’s Maui Beach Wedding was a pleasure! We loved helping them make this special day every bit as special as their relationship!
