It’s not every day we get to help plan a surprise Maui Vow Renewal and it might be our new favorite thing! Although celebrating love is always our favorite! We cannot get over how sweet it was for Peter to put together this special surprise for his wife. And we are so glad it all went according to plan, and what made it even more meaningful was their daughters Heather and Tiffany’s involvement!
When they arrived at the Fairmont Bonnie thought they were just there for a nice dinner. However, when Peter “proposed” on the grassy lawn Bonnie was so overcome with love and emotion. What a beautiful tone to set just moments before the actual Maui Vow Renewal! As Bonnie and Peter made their way onto the beach, they were greeted by their daughters and the ceremony went off without a hitch. We are confident this is a day none of them will ever forget. We were thrilled when despite the rain this couple decided to still get married outside for their Maui Destination Wedding. They didn’t come all the way to Maui for an indoor wedding and didn’t mind getting married in the rain one bit! And neither did their wedding guests, in fact, they all cheered when we told them that the ceremony would be outside!
After a sweet ceremony and some fun shots with their guests, we moved inside where they danced the night away! And what an incredible dance party it was. The excitement in the air was so strong it was almost tangible! One thing’s for sure, this is a Maui Destination Wedding we won’t ever forget and we’re sure neither will our happy couple or anyone in attendance! We were absolutely honored when Renee and Walter chose our team to help them plan the Maui Beach Elopement of their dreams! After being together for 3 years and since they both were married before, they wanted their ceremony to be just the two of them and a minister. They have grown kids scattered all around the world and decided to enjoy their wedding alone and go celebrate all over afterward! What a fun idea!
Our bride has always come to Maui every few years and brought her Groom for the first time a couple of years ago. They loved the setting Ironwoods Beach had to offer! From sightings of sea turtles to lava rocks of different colors, and crashing waves. Plus the fact that it’s right next to Kapalua Golf Course! Walter is a golfer himself and the idea of getting married next to a course gave him a warm smile. While Renee loved being on the cliffs of Ironwoods because they reminded her of home 🙂 . As you can see these two really did choose the perfect spot for their Maui Beach Elopement. And we are so glad we got to be part of it! We had the best time being part of Mariah and Derek’s Maui Destination Wedding! And how could we not, they seriously are such a fun couple! We especially love how they arrived together, but got creative so Derek wouldn’t see Mariah before it was time. He drove while she sat in the back seat holding up a beach towel, so he wouldn’t peek at her throughout the drive! How clever is that?! Derek also told us that while they got ready, he had his eyes closed so he wouldn’t see her in her dress too soon. Talk about dedication! Our bride seriously did such a good job hiding her dress, especially considering she had it for 6 months!
Their ceremony started while the evening was softly lit by rainclouds and it drizzled all the way up until their couples portraits. After that, it was beautiful and there wasn’t a drop of rain! In fact, their sunset was breathtaking because the sun ended up showing it’s golden hour glow for a few minutes just before it set. Which left Mariah and Derek extremely happy because all they wanted was just a little sun on their Maui Destination Wedding day, and they got that and more! Since they both were previously married, and have been together for 7 years, Kim and Ron decided to keep their marriage intimate with a Maui Elopement! They visit the island often and absolutely love it here, so it really was the perfect place for them to say, “I do”.
We love that they brought along with them a Just Maui’d sign that Kim’s niece made for their Maui Elopement. Back at home, the rest of their family and friends are just now finding out they eloped since Kim and Ron kept it a secret. However, they did send out wedding announcements to be delivered the day after their wedding day! What a great idea! And now, they’re planning a reception to celebrate their wedding in August. Surrounded by friends from high school and college, Brittany and Chace were more than ready to get married at this Maui Beach Wedding! This entire crew was so much fun from the moment they arrived at the beach to the very last minutes after the sun had set! You could tell they were all so excited to celebrate Brittany and Chace’s love for each other. And it’s definitely a love worth celebrating!
Brittany and Chace met a few years ago, and we are so glad they did 🙂 . His roommate and her roommate brought the two together, but that’s not all, these roommates ended up getting married themselves! So of course, they wouldn’t miss coming to this Maui Beach Wedding to watch as our bride and groom said, “I do”. Coming from Floria for their Maui Beach Elopement, Jennifer and Randy felt right at home on the sandy shore for their wedding ceremony. We love that they chose to get married here, especially since Maui is Jennifer’s favorite island! In their free time, they enjoy playing golf, boating and going to concerts. What fun!
We admire the way they are able to share their interests and hobbies. It’s no wonder they instantly hit it off after meeting at a dive bar in Jennifer’s hometown! She was out with friends for a girls night and Randy was out with the boys playing pool. After that night Randy came cruising in his boat to Jennifer’s house every day. Four years later they bought a house together and Five months after they moved in Randy proposed! Bringing them to where they are today, and we feel so lucky we got to witness such a special moment as they celebrated their love and excitement for the future! With this being their first time to the island, Jennifer and Christina’s Maui Destination Wedding couldn’t have been more memorable or special! We love that they chose to celebrate their relationship by saying, “I do” in an intimate setting at the beach. After being together for 10 years, they were more than ready to get married!
And even though it wasn’t love at first sight, we are so glad these two ended up together! They tell people that they met at a coffee shop, but they actually met at work. Jennifer did not want to be friends with Christina because she thought she was a slacker. But then they ran into each other outside of work at the coffee shop and hit it off right away. They now have two dogs, a Shih Tzu and a Chihuahua that are like their babies. Check out how cute they are in the photo our bride’s brought with them to their Maui Destination Wedding. Coming from California Alice and Tanner were so excited to get married at a Maui Venue Wedding! And we’re so excited we got to be part of their special day! We especially love that these two decided to say, “I do” on the same date as the anniversary of when they started dating. To make it even more special, our bride and groom got engaged here on Maui a year an a half ago on top of Haleakala. So how could they not start their marriage here as well?!
We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for this Maui Venue Wedding. I mean just check out that sunset! So stunning! That’s not the only thing that was stunning though. These two were so cute together at their Maui Destination Wedding! It was truly touching to witness and be part of their day. As Ashley’s dad escorted her down the beach to meet Jim, it was so hard for him not to shed a tear. It was so sweet! And we know this is a moment our bride and her father will always hold close to their hearts.
This was truly a Maui Destination Wedding to remember! What made it even more incredible was the absolutely GORGEOUS sunset sky filled of the most vibrant colors! Ashley and Jim said it was the most beautiful sunset they’ve ever seen. And we think we might have to agree! I mean just look at it!
After taking the most amazing wedding portraits our newlyweds were ready to celebrate with a celebratory dinner at Cane & Canoe. The perfect ending to an already perfect day! We were honored to be part of this Maui Destination Wedding! Brianna and Robert were so in love and such a joy to work with. And even though they had a little crisis, it all turned out great and they both looked incredible! Which brings us to the story of what happened the morning of their wedding.
Robert had his suit mailed from Men’s Warehouse and instead of being shipped here to Maui, it was shipped to Spokane! So they quickly had to have it shipped here. On their wedding day, Robert’s suit was still in Honolulu! So he waited at the cargo port at the airport for the suit to come in at 2:00 pm that afternoon. Luckily he was able to pick it up from there and rush straight over to 5 palms. Talk about STRESS! Robert was almost about to buy some last minute Tommy Bahama shirts lol. That night was beautiful as the couple could finally relax and enjoy the rest of their day! And now they not only have a beautiful Maui Destination Wedding to remember but a funny story to tell as well 🙂 . Thank you, Brianna and Robert, for sharing this special day with Simple Maui Wedding. With family surrounding them, Karen and Danny were so excited to start their marriage off with a Maui Beach Wedding! And we are so glad they did. Seeing the love these two have for each other, was truly inspiring and an experience we will never forget! As soon as our bride made her entrance with her two daughters walking her down the aisle, we knew this would be a wedding to remember. We especially can’t get over this moment during their ceremony when their wedding guests all participated by putting their hands on the happy couple. What a beautiful way to show love and support on such a special day!
And it truly was a special day indeed! Plus it was absolutely beautiful, and so was our couple. Karen looked stunning in a simple lace gown from BHLDN. With a lei and Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet, it was perfect for a Maui Beach Wedding! Danny didn’t look half bad either in a sleek blue suit paired with a white shirt and no tie.
