Melony and Seth were engaged for two years before getting married because they wanted their family to attend their Maui Destination Wedding. They really wanted to share their special day with loved ones, so they felt like it was the right thing to do to wait for everyone to save up and plan accordingly for their big day. And they’re so glad they did! They loved having all their close family members here!
Beach Wedding Details
Our couple also arranged for beautiful lanterns lanterns and a sign to be set up on the beach. These added details were such a subtle touch, but made all the difference! Plus it was an extra pretty day at DT Fleming. The bar by the beach was open so the guests all had a drink together before it was time to come down to the ceremony spot.
Their Maui Destination Wedding could not have been more perfect! And the cutest thing happened while our bride was waiting to walk down the aisle. A little boy leaving the beach came up to Melony like she was a Disney princess and was mesmerized by her! He couldn’t stop staring and following her around haha! It’s little details and moments like this that make a wedding day memorable and we loved being part of making this day a reality.
After saying, “I do” and taking wedding portraits our newlyweds were ready to party with an elegant and intimate reception at Merriman’s. From beginning to end this Maui Destination Wedding was literally a dream come true! This couple decided on a Maui Destination Wedding because Joe attended a friend’s wedding here and liked how small, simple and easy it was! Making us a perfect fit to help plan their special day 🙂 . They wanted it to be elegant, simple, and private which is exactly how it was!
After meeting in high school in the 90’s and then reconnecting a couple of years ago, Mary Ann and Joe were so excited to be getting married! They’ve had a long-distance relationship since 2017, and are more than ready to start their lives together in Denver! And we could not be happier for them!
Personalized Wedding Vows
One of our favorite parts of their ceremony was how they personalized their vows and even included some World of Warcraft terminology. Which made everyone laugh! Laughing is definitely the foundation of their relationship. And it’s easy to see that they always have a good time together!
When it came time for wedding portraits, these two were complete naturals in front of the camera! Mary Ann is actually a photographer herself and was so excited for our sister company to capture all the emotion and lots of candids. And we love that she was able to have fun being in the moment with her husband. I mean just look at them together! They were so cute and so down to earth.

Being part of this Maui Vow Renewal was an honor! Especially since when Amber and Justin got married they wanted a beach wedding in Hawaii. But they ended up getting married at home with friends and family. And really wanted to have their dream wedding as a vow renewal before they got too old, LOL!
Not only do these two look incredible together, but we can’t get over how much love they share for each other! I mean just look at them, we can seriously FEEL the love radiating between them. These two celebrated 10 wonderful years by exchanging beautiful words and dancing to live music on the ukulele at their Maui Vow Renewal. We could not have asked for a more stunning evening for their ceremony at Lahaina Shores Beach! This location has some of the most amazing sunsets with gorgeous lighting shooting along the shoreline. And this couple kept saying how beautiful of a location they picked and were so happy with the setting!
Karmele and Daniel’s Maui Vow Renewal was made even more memorable by the involvement of their kids, Sabastian and Nuria. Not only were they the cutest wedding guests, but they were dressed in the sweetest outfits to match their mom and dad! Our sister company, Karma Hill Photography captured a great variety of photos with their kids and also spent time with photos of just the two of them. You would never know that their youngest is hanging out on their legs for some of the close up intimate shots. Karmele and Daniel did a great job of focusing on romantic moments together and running around with their kiddos!
It’s easy to see Karmele and Daniel are so proud of and grateful for the life they have built together! And we are honored we could celebrate with them on such a special occasion. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

Stephanie & Nick traveled all the way from Colorado for their Maui Vow Renewal! They had a big wedding 2 years ago and this was their chance to enjoy a dream ceremony on the beach. The best part is that this time Leo was around for it! Their 10-month old son is so cute, and he even walked his mom down the aisle! (well, kind of)
Just because they were enjoying a simple wedding didn’t mean they skimped on the details! Stephanie looked lovely in her lace gown and tropical bouquet. They wrote their own vows for each other and stayed at the beach through sunset to get some sweet photos together! That’s how a Maui vow renewal should be!
As cute as Leo is, we definitely had to get some photos of just Stephanie & Nick together. We love these romantic shots that Karma Hill photography captured!

We love it when couples laugh and have fun at their Maui beach wedding! Good thing Aleksandra is marrying such a funny guy – Zach kept her laughing throughout their pictures, and even had our whole team cracking up!
Finally Photographed!
Aleksandra & Zach didn’t take any engagement photos, so their Maui beach wedding was their chance to get lots of great portraits together! They booked plenty of photography time, which allowed Karma Hill Photography to capture lots of different shots around Southside Beach.
They were naturals in front of the camera, and the lighting was especially gorgeous for this Maui beach wedding! We loved every minute with Aleksandra & Zachary – we send them lots of love as they enjoy wedded bliss!

Kelsey & Wyatt chose to get married on Maui because it just seemed perfect – we completely agree with that! This really was a great Maui venue wedding with a perfect couple. The pastel tropical flowers complimented their loving spirits – and it all matched the pastel sunset that Karma Hill photography captured on the beach!
The best of both worlds
Maui venue weddings allowed Kelsey & Wyatt to have a ceremony on a grassy lawn – complete with seating for guests and an arch to marry under. Guests loved being able to walk right up to the restaurant at Gannon’s to enjoy some cocktails while the newlyweds drove down to the beach for some romantic pictures!
Beach pictures are a great way to capture the beauty of Hawaii, and Kelsey & Wyatt loved getting some alone time in the middle of a busy wedding day! They got beautiful sunset pictures right by the ocean before joining their family for dinner.
Wyatt will always remember their anniversary as trucker lingo 10-4. We’ll always remember how beautiful and sweet these two are! Thank you, Kelsey & Wyatt, for choosing us to coordinate your Maui venue wedding!

Jessica and Devin were so sweet at their Hawaii Beach Wedding. After years together, they were so excited to finally tie the knot on Maui! With how much these two enjoy going on walks at the beach back home in Washington, how could they not say “I do” with their feet in the sand!? Plus they actually getting engaged on the beach in Santa Barbara, where they met. And we love that Southside Beach is now also a special place for them!
Beach Wedding Decor
They loved the rocks at this location and even added a beautiful floral semi flower circle to add to the already romantic setting. Jessica loved that it was a simple yet elegant touch for a Hawaii Beach Wedding! The guests couldn’t believe it was made of real flowers! I mean just check out how amazing it looks, it even matched her bouquet perfectly!
Intimate Ceremony
Jessica and Devin kept their wedding intimate with just family and friends there to celebrate with them! They were all so sweet and tearing as our bride and groom exchanged vows. We also noticed that during the ceremony not one of them had their phones out to record or take photos or anything! This was so refreshing to see, and we love that they were all present and in the moment the whole ceremony! Of course the selfies and sunset behind the scenes photos came afterwards, which are always fun 🙂 .
Beautiful Weather & Lighting
Devin knew it was going to be a warm afternoon, so he said he prayed for cloud cover and to his surprise there was a massive cloud shading the rest of the evening. With the gentle breeze present everyone was comfortable. In fact, the night of their Hawaii Beach Wedding the West Maui Mountains had a brush fire creating hues of red in the sky! It was actually really pretty and added some pastel colors during the afternoon hours. Usually we’d have to wait for the golden hour for that beautiful background lighting! So it was definitely a silver lining from the fire and Jessica was super happy!
Beach Wedding Attire
That’s not the only thing that caught our attention though, we also can’t get over how perfect this couple looked in their wedding attire! When we asked Jessica about her beautiful dress she said it actually wasn’t the initial dress she was going to wear. The first dress she said “yes” to was super simple. But one day she went shopping with her mom and as soon as she tried on this dress, she fell in love with it! She said it made her feel like Anne Hathaway in the Princess Diaries. #BrideGoals
