Jessica and Devin were so sweet at their Hawaii Beach Wedding. After years together, they were so excited to finally tie the knot on Maui! With how much these two enjoy going on walks at the beach back home in Washington, how could they not say “I do” with their feet in the sand!? Plus they actually getting engaged on the beach in Santa Barbara, where they met. And we love that Southside Beach is now also a special place for them!
Beach Wedding Decor
They loved the rocks at this location and even added a beautiful floral semi flower circle to add to the already romantic setting. Jessica loved that it was a simple yet elegant touch for a Hawaii Beach Wedding! The guests couldn’t believe it was made of real flowers! I mean just check out how amazing it looks, it even matched her bouquet perfectly!
Intimate Ceremony
Jessica and Devin kept their wedding intimate with just family and friends there to celebrate with them! They were all so sweet and tearing as our bride and groom exchanged vows. We also noticed that during the ceremony not one of them had their phones out to record or take photos or anything! This was so refreshing to see, and we love that they were all present and in the moment the whole ceremony! Of course the selfies and sunset behind the scenes photos came afterwards, which are always fun 🙂 .
Beautiful Weather & Lighting
Devin knew it was going to be a warm afternoon, so he said he prayed for cloud cover and to his surprise there was a massive cloud shading the rest of the evening. With the gentle breeze present everyone was comfortable. In fact, the night of their Hawaii Beach Wedding the West Maui Mountains had a brush fire creating hues of red in the sky! It was actually really pretty and added some pastel colors during the afternoon hours. Usually we’d have to wait for the golden hour for that beautiful background lighting! So it was definitely a silver lining from the fire and Jessica was super happy!
Beach Wedding Attire
That’s not the only thing that caught our attention though, we also can’t get over how perfect this couple looked in their wedding attire! When we asked Jessica about her beautiful dress she said it actually wasn’t the initial dress she was going to wear. The first dress she said “yes” to was super simple. But one day she went shopping with her mom and as soon as she tried on this dress, she fell in love with it! She said it made her feel like Anne Hathaway in the Princess Diaries. #BrideGoals

Daymis and Jamie had a beautiful and intimate Maui Beach Elopement on the southside of the island, hence the name of this location. This is one of our favorite spots for weddings and it’s easy to see why! With beautiful scenery and lighting, it makes for a magical experience in real life and in wedding photos. Just see for yourself!
Beach Wedding Attire
This bride and groom seriously looked amazing, they both nailed it with their wedding attire! Daymis said she was going for a simple beach dress but she loved this Vera Wang wedding dress she had on…even if it wasn’t the most “simple.” And Jamie looked absolutely dashing in a Calvin Klein suit. We love that he ditched the tie and added a boutonniere for a final touch!
Overall we just love these two together! They were so in love and complete naturals at making each other laugh throughout the night. We’re confident they will have the most amazing life together as husband and wife and feel so lucky to have been part of their Maui Beach Elopement. This couple was surrounded by family at their Maui Destination Wedding. It’s not always easy to make the trip, but it’s always worth it! Maria and Daniel even had their niece and two adorable twin nephews helped throw petals for our bride’s entrance. And Maria’s sister walked her down the aisle, which was an extra special experience for them both!
Maria & Daniel’s First Dance
Their ceremony was followed by a beautiful first dance to “One Love” by Bob Marley, which we just absolutely loved with the beach backdrop. We love when couples include this traditional touch at a Maui Destination Wedding. It’s always a very touching and authentic moment between the newlyweds and makes for great heartfelt photos!

Rachel and Lucas met 6 years ago in college and were so excited to celebrate their love with a Southside Beach Elopement! And we are so excited we could celebrate with this bride and groom 🙂 . They chose to get married in Hawaii so the focus of the wedding would be on just them!
Their ceremony at Southside Beach could not have been more beautiful. Witnessing these two say, “I do” was truly touching, especially since they had a musician playing in the background! Music is so powerful and we love when our couples choose to include it at their wedding.
Wedding Portraits
Before heading off for a delicious dinner at the Grand Wailea, these newlyweds enjoyed taking wedding portraits with our sister company! They mentioned they really love the look of natural light, and so Karma Hill Photography was the perfect fit for their wedding photography. They are pros at working with natural light but also know how to use just the right tools for a few dramatic shots as well! And that’s exactly what Rachel and Lucas got 🙂 . Jamie and Jay surprised their loved ones at home by getting married here on vacation! So we were thrilled to be part of their Maui Elopement! They could not have been more in love or more fun to work with. I mean just look at them! You can tell by the smiles on their faces and their epic wedding attire that they have stellar personalities. And we are stoked we had the opportunity to help make this day a reality.
Jamie’s bouquet even had touches of gold and navy to compliment Jay’s suit! Which we loved!
This bride and groom were complete naturals in front of the camera! And it’s no wonder why since they actually met while working as extras on the movie, “The Intern” with Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway! It was the first summer Jay ever took off from tennis (he’s actually a tennis pro – no big deal) and we are so glad he did. These two are without a doubt, “meant to be”!
A Special Date
To make their Maui Elopement even more special, they actually said “I do” on the 5 year anniversary of their first date! How sweet is that?! Having a special meaning behind your wedding date is always fun. And we’re honored we could spend this evening celebrating with this happy couple! We loved helping plan this couple’s wedding at 5 Palms and can’t get over how amazing they look in these Maui Wedding Portraits! Danielle and John brought their own photographer from Orange County for their wedding photography. But since all of our packages include photography they decided to do an extra couples shoot with our sister company, the day after their wedding!
Photography Options – Bringing your Own Photographer
This is a great option since photography can’t be removed from a Simple Maui Wedding Package. We understand some clients might already have someone in mind for their wedding photography, but why not take more photos!? You can never have enough shots of you and your new spouse, especially in your amazing wedding attire!
Dreams Coming True
Our bride said she’s always dreamed of having photos in a pretty dress with pretty flowers on the beach in Hawaii at Sunset. So taking these Maui Wedding Portraits was perfect, and she lucked out with the most GORGEOUS lighting! Danielle grew up coming to Maui every year as a kid, so it is a very special place for her. And now she can’t wait to come back when they have kids and have portraits this very same beach, so sweet!

With our bride’s daughter Rylee, our groom’s son James and groom’s mother as the only guests, this Maui Beach Elopement was truly intimate. Jayme and Kenny were so cute together and their children has so much fun celebrating with them and being part of the festivities. All throughout the ceremony, cake cutting, and family photos their children had them all laughing up a storm and having a good time! Leaving us confident this is a day none of them will ever forget.
We especially love how at the end of the evening these newlyweds got in the water for a little Trash The Dress session! They were having so much fun and were excited for our sister company, Karma Hill Photography to capture it on camera. They even had their kids also film it! We seriously we loved being part of this Maui Beach Elopement and getting to know this incredible couple! We are thrilled we got to be part of this couple’s Maui Destination Wedding! Not only were they super in love, but they were also super fun. Even the story of how they met is great! These two connected while Brianne was bar tending 2 years ago. Marc walking into the bar with his boss at the time, who was present at the wedding. He saw Brianne and told his boss that he was gonna marry that woman someday! And that day finally happened on June 17, 2016 🙂 . And we are so glad we could be part of the planning process and witness it all take place!
Brianne always wanted a destination wedding and Maui was the perfect place for the start of their new adventure. I mean who wouldn’t want to say, “I do” in a setting like this? Not only was it the ideal spot for their ceremony but this couple also decided to have a Maui Trash the Dress session while here!
So they met back up with our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, on their honeymoon. And we love all these photos of them together enjoying their first week as newlyweds! Another fun surprise Maui Vow Renewal! It was their last evening here, so Joi was looking forward to a sweet dinner with Mike, her husband of 29 years. She thought they were taking a quick detour to a beach nearby, but there was actually a surprise vow renewal waiting for her there! We can’t believe we got to be a part of such a special and romantic evening!
Mike was worried about keeping the secret from his wife, but he was a total champ! He planned this Maui Vow Renewal 2 weeks ahead of time and had to wait until the end of their vacation so that they could have it on their actual anniversary. We had to sneak in some calls and emails, but we got it all put together just in time! We helped Mike pick out the nicest details, a ceremony with Reverend Kuya, a special song with Wailau, and a tropical bouquet from Dellables.
The best detail of all was the love between Mike and Joi, who went back home to Arizona with such great memories of their time here! Here’s to many more years of happiness for these sweethearts! When Sam proposed to Whittney he already knew he wanted a simple Maui Beach Elopement. Making our team the perfect option for their wedding coordinator! They started planning their elopement last summer but then Sam’s father became ill and they had to put everything on hold.
And since they hadn’t officially booked with us we were thrilled when they reached out at the end of May to see if there was any way we could still book a wedding for them on their dream date, 6/6/19. Which was less than 2 weeks away! But thankfully we were still available and able to plan everything for them! We love that the Maui Beach Elopement this couple had been dreaming of was finally made a reality and that we were able to participate in making it all happen. With this being a second marriage for both Nikki and Huey, they chose to keep their Maui Beach Wedding intimate and small. Their only guests were the bride’s three kids and the groom’s two daughters, making it a really special occasion. Especially since they are all so close! We love how they were able to include their children in the ceremony, and are confident it’s a day none of them will ever forget!
We love that they chose to have a Maui Beach Wedding because Nikki always said if she got married again it would be at Makena Beach, like her daughter’s name. Huey loves Hawaii so it worked out perfectly! It doesn’t get much better than a wedding in paradise, especially when it ends with a sunset like the one these newlyweds had! It was epic! We were honored to be included in Lisa and Martin’s intimate Maui Beach Elopement along with just three other guests! Their two kids, and our bride’s dad. All three of them walked Lisa down the aisle where Martin was waiting! And boy was he excited, the look on his face says it all 🙂 .
Even though our couple was staying in Kaanapali they were drawn to the beautiful sunsets and calm breezes of Wailea. So we are thrilled they chose to have their Maui Beach Elopement at Southside! And it definitely did not disappoint. Just check out that amazing sunset during their wedding portraits!
What a perfect ending to an already perfect day! Later in the week our happy couple and their family went to a Luau to continue the festivities. How fun!
