Getting to plan Candice and Ken’s Maui Venue Wedding was amazing! This bride and groom were so sweet together and had the best time celebrating their love. We absolutely love the story of how they met. It all started 10 years ago when Candice was single and visiting a friend at a construction site Ken owned. Her friend asked Candice if she was interested in any of the construction workers around. Candice replied, “Not any of the workers, I’m more interested in the owner!” After that, they met up for pizza and immediately hit it off 🙂 . They now have two beautiful kids and a beautiful life together.

Now weddings with little kids can sometimes be tricky, but these two were up for the challenge and stayed “go with the flow”. They wanted to include their son and daughter in meaningful yet appropriate ways. Which we love! How cute is this photo of their little girl running down the aisle in front of them after the ceremony? She was absolutely darling in a white dress with a blue sash and bow to match her mother who wore a Pronovias wedding dress and blue shoes. It’s all about the details and this Maui Venue Wedding was full of thoughtful touches! We especially love that the couple brought a “Just Maui’d” sign made by Candice’s mother. Being part of Ashley and Landon’s Maui Destination Wedding was a pleasure! They were extra laid back and enjoyed every moment of their wedding day. They even went deep sea diving earlier in the morning, and Ashley took a relaxing nap on the boat while they were out 🙂 . The whole day was really chill, just the way they wanted! Our bride was especially calm when it came time to get ready at their Airbnb.

Her wedding dress was gorgeous and although it wasn’t the first dress she tried on, it was recommended by the bridal dress shop and she fell in love with it. And it’s easy to see why! Her short veil was carefully chosen so it wouldn’t hide the details of her dress. Plus how darling does the groom’s daughter look in her little flower girl dress? We especially love this photo of her and the bride holding bouquets and sharing a sweet kiss. So cute! This Maui Destination Wedding was full of lots of love and we know it’s a day this couple will always hold close to their hearts. We loved helping plan this bride and groom’s Maui Destination Wedding! In 2015 Reanna attended a Simple Maui Wedding, so we’re excited it was now her turn. It was a beautiful day at DT Fleming! The sand was white and clean, there were blue skies speckled with clouds, and we even had a little bit of rain after the ceremony which brought on the most amazing sunset for wedding photos!

This Maui Destination Wedding was full of thoughtful details and touching moments. One of Reanna’s bridesmaids gifted the bride and the other bridesmaids sandals (or slippers as we call them here in Hawaii), with our newlyweds’ last name on them. She even handcrafted shells on them too! Reanna said she’s the crafty one and knew it took her a long time to make these gifts, so they were really special! Our personal favorite part of the day was just after the ceremony ended, Shawn’s daughter Lily was balling with tears because she was so happy! It even made Shawn cry, it was such a tender moment and one we know none of them will ever forget. And neither will we! After meeting later in life, Sharron and Mark were so excited to get married with an intimate Maui Elopement on the beach! They wanted something relaxed and simple with just the two of them to celebrate their love and excitement for the future! They chose to get married in Maui because they were already planning on taking a cruise, and so it just worked out. Mark is a veteran for the Coast Gaurd and this was his first cruise, while it’s Sharron’s third! Neither of them had ever been to Hawaii before, but they have both always wanted to visit. We absolutely love that this couple is able to enjoy so many adventures together! They also both enjoy working on their older cars, and it’s obvious they love traveling with each other 🙂 .

Our favorite part of their relationship is how they met! Mark was renting a house in Sharron’s neighborhood and he would wave daily as she went to work and back! How cute is that? They started talking and then Mark asked her out to dinner, and the rest is history! We’re so glad these two found one another. Not only are they a perfect match, but they also looked incredible together at their Maui Elopement. Sharron was a truly beautiful bride in a simple yet stunning wedding dress. We can’t think of a better start to our day than a Maui Venue Wedding at Gannon’s! This location is a favorite because of the beautiful scenery and view. I mean just look at it! Now that’s what we call a paradise setting. We’ll never get tired of how gorgeous Maui is, it’s obvious why so many couples want to get married here and we feel so lucky to be part of their wedding day!

Rebecca and Angelo were so excited for their Maui Beach Wedding. His parents live on Oahu, so they frequently visit there but it was their first time here! And they both agree that Maui’s even more beautiful than Oahu! Ironwoods Beach is definitely a unique spot and it’s epic cliffs make for truly amazing wedding portraits. See for yourself!

The tropical vibe at this Maui destination wedding was too good for words. It was especially fun to see that our couple was able to have their baby boy, AJ present for their wedding. Isn’t he adorable? It’s obvious Rebecca and Angelo love each other and the family they’ve created together very much, they also have 3 more children from different relationships back home. So our newlyweds were excited to share that their wedding night would be their first time alone in years! They are so grateful that grandma and grandpa were able to babysit as they honeymoon 🙂 . Yogi and Kevin were so excited for their Maui Beach Wedding! Plus they were relieved we helped plan the perfect wedding day for them, simple and intimate! With their only wedding guests being both of their parents, it truly was an intimate occasion and one we know they will remember for the rest of their lives.

One of our favorite parts of working with brides and grooms for a Maui Beach Wedding is getting to know the story of how they met. And this is one we particularly love! Kevin is an Army Officer and works as a Foreign Area Officer, so he has moved around every 2 years. He met Yogi in Beijing in 2014 while he was stationed there. After Kevin moved back to the US they had a 4-year long distance relationship until Yogi moved to the US in 2018. Within those four years, they traveled to lots of places together and Kevin proposed while they were on a trip to Taiwan in 2016! How awesome is that? It’s obvious the love they share runs deep and we know they will have the most wonderful life together. Thank you, Yogi and Kevin, for choosing Simple Maui Wedding to make your wedding dreams come true! It’s always special when we have the opportunity to help plan a Maui Beach Elopement and working with Natalia and Joshua was no exception! After meeting online a year and a half ago, they were so excited to be getting married. They knew after just 2 weeks of dating that this was it! We could tell just by looking at them they are a perfect match.

As we watched this bride and groom exchange personal vows to one another during their Maui Beach Elopement we couldn’t help but feel inspired by their love! And it was truly touching to witness as they released hibiscus flowers into the ocean in honor of Joshua’s sister, Nicole, who has passed. What a beautiful way to include a loved one! When a bride makes her entrance under a rainbow you know it’s going to be an epic Maui Beach Wedding! I mean just look at that! After meeting at a toga party and then getting engaged in Paris, these two were bound to have a memorable wedding ceremony. And even though the rain was really off and on and it was a windy day, they were so happy in all of it. We love how you can even see a few rain sprinkles in the photo of Davis putting on Jana’s wedding ring!

Our favorite part of this Maui Beach Wedding was when Davis started crying during their vows. He seemed shocked that he was crying and it was so touching to witness! Their parents all said a little something at the start of the ceremony too which was really sweet. We are confident this is a day they will all remember for the rest of their lives! They were so happy to leave the freezing conditions in Chicago for Hawaii paradise. This was actually Nick’s first time seeing the ocean! How special is that? We are confident he won’t be forgetting these views from their Maui Elopement anytime soon 🙂 . I mean how could you, these epic cliffs and crashing waves sure leave an impression!
