You know those days that are so unbelievably happy that everything feels like it has a golden glow around it? That’s the vibe we got from Courtney and Tanner’s Hawaii micro wedding. The happiness had no end. Set against the sweeping west Maui views of Gannon’s grassy knoll, this lovely ceremony featured adoring guests, bursts of tropical flowers, and the salty breeze of the ocean.

Tanner was nothing but smiles as he awaited the entrance of his bride. And as an untraditional (but awesome) little twist, there wasn’t a flower girl but a flower MAN! Devin tossed those flowers like a seasoned pro and primed the grass with petals for Courtney’s grand entrance. And what a gorgeous bride she was! Wearing a lace gown with her hair in smooth yet beachy waves, it’s little wonder why Tanner couldn’t stop smiling! 

After celebrating their union with friends and family, we whisked Courtney and Tanner away to catch the setting sun on the shoreside. With soft, golden lighting that ended in a dramatic fiery sunset, it was the perfect send-off to a beautiful wedding day. But it didn’t end there! Jessica described her dream Venue Wedding in Maui as being “full of love,” and we have to say she really got it right! This beautiful ceremony took place in the historic ruins of the Trinity by the Sea church among loved ones and beneath the soft tropical sky. This is a wedding that can’t be missed!

The Venue Wedding in Maui

Located on the Kihei coast, the Trinity by the Sea church is a spectacular wedding venue that perfectly melds the traditional church setting with rustic, tropical elements. Looking great in his dress uniform, James wore the most sincere and sweet look as he watched his beautiful bride and partner for life as she made her way down the aisle.

We’re in love with Jessica’s Celtic-inspired bell sleeves and cathedral-length train. With her hair in delicate curls and wearing an expression of pure love, Jessica was simply gorgeous. The tender exchanges and meaningful moments throughout the ceremony were beyond touching and spoke volumes to the size of this couple’s love. 

Our Couple’s Story

Jessica and James met through Bumble, as so many of our couples have! Jessica was balancing work and taking care of three children as a single mom, while James was busy with his career as an Air Force pilot. Both found that the online dating world was the only reasonable option for their schedules. And it worked! After a few months of dating, Jessica and James fell in love. Then a year later, James proposed on Christmas day while they were visiting his son in North Dakota. These photos say it all, this love is here to stay!

From the rolling ocean to the beautiful couple madly in love, Cortlin and David’s Maui venue wedding felt like stepping into a storybook romance. Set against the sweeping lawn of Olowalu Plantation House and with plenty of cheering loved ones in attendance, this wedding was practically plucked from a dream!

Our Couple’s Story

Cortlin works as a surgical tech in the operating room, and David works for a mortgage company working on the finance end. Together they have two fur babies and love hanging out with their cuties and taking them for walks. 

Cortlin and David first crossed paths while working together, and they quickly realized they also worked well together as a couple! They were engaged during a trip to Arizona to visit Antelope Canyon. Cortlin describes it as “The best day ever!” We can only imagine! And now the couple has another best day ever, their Maui venue wedding!

Krista and Ashlee said “I do” with a Micro Wedding in Hawaii on the green lawn of the 5 Palms in Wailea. The tradewinds came out to play but it only added to the comfortable atmosphere, with plenty of sunshine to warm guests’ shoulders and an island breeze to keep them cool. There was endless happiness on the shore that day, and we could not get enough of the love shared between our brides!

Krista and Ashlee walked down the aisle hand in hand, wearing complementary gowns and smiles that said it all. This is the day their future begins! Holding matching Rustic Hawaiian Bouquets and sporting elegant sandals, Krista and Ashlee looked right at home against the seaside, not to mention right at home with each other! From smiles to sweet lean-ins, these two were clearly made for each other and it was a joy to be a part of their Micro Wedding in Hawaii! 

Our Couple’s Story

Krista works as the athletic trainer and teacher of the medical classes at a local high school, and Ashlee works with the women’s basketball team at one of the local universities. They love all things camping, especially spending the summer months in their camper trailer. Together they have two pups and love to play games– cards, board, yard– you name it and Krista and Ashlee probably love it!

Krista and Ashlee have been together since 2005 and met while Krista was in high school and they were both lifeguards at a local pool. The connection was instant, but it took several years for the romance to bloom. Then one special Christmas morning, Ashlee looked into her stocking. Karyne and Tristan’s Maui Destination Wedding featured a spectacular view, cheering loved ones, and a couple as sweet and in love as can be! Tristan waited for the love of his life, wearing a smokey gray suit and blush tie and the biggest smile that says, “This is the day!” Escorted by her father, Karyne is radiant in a Roman-cut gown with her hair in gorgeous pleating. We loved that moment of bursting happiness when she first laid eyes on her man. Sometimes a joy this strong just can’t be contained! 

Our Couple’s Story 

Karyne currently works for Piedmont Airlines as a gate agent at the Phoenix airport, and Tristan works for Uber! In their free time, they enjoy watching movies, going outside for hikes, and trying new restaurants! Karyne loves Maui and always knew that getting married on the island would be the perfect way to say, “I do”!

From as early as 8th grade, Karyne and Tristan knew there was something special in the works between them. They dated off and on for a few years until Karyne moved to Arizona during her Freshman year. And, of course, Tristan couldn’t let her slip away! With a cutie cheering them on and blue skies in all directions, Shurenkhand and Branko’s Hawaii Beach Wedding was everything dreams are made of! Po’olenalena Beach was bursting with sunshine and featured swaying palms and endless tropical goodness. The result was an unforgettable Maui wedding and picture-perfect moments!

Shurenkhand and Branko’s daughter was as cute as can be! We loved how she held close to daddy and was truly a part of her parents union. Wearing a beachy gown with geometric designs, Shurenkhand looked stunning with a single plumeria in her hair. Wearing a navy suit with leather accents, Branko added a masculine touch. We love this crew’s style! Classic with a splash of modern. 

But the best thing Shurenkhand and Branko wore that day was their adorable toddler! That girl had all the best views! Switching from Dad to Mom’s arms, this sweetie was right up with all the action and witnessed firsthand the love shared between Mom and Dad. And that was just the beginning of this sweet ceremony!

Nothing says “Living the dream” like a moment as sweet and adorable as this! We could not get enough of the sweet and tender affection shared between this family. From romantic couple moments to authentic parental affection, this wedding had all the love!

On the shore of Polo Beach with just the ocean watching on, Shari and Kevin chose to Elope in Hawaii. The day brought glistening waters and dramatic, textured skies. With Reverend Kuya officiating their union, the love and excitement on the beach between Shari and Kevin was uncontainable.

Our Couple’s Story

Shari works for American Express within Risk Management,  and Kevin works for Orange, a French-based telecom company in Sales. They have three girls between them–19, 22, and 23–who are all super ambitious and make Shari and Kevin very proud to be their parents! 

Shari and Kevin met online during COVID (talk about a silver lining!). Their first few dates were long walks around the lake in Austin, as they got to know each other in the open air. Kathryn and Randy’s Maui Beach Elopement on the shore of Ironwoods was a day set in destiny. While they were visiting Maui in 2020, the week the pandemic hit the US, Randy asked Kathryn to marry him, and they decided right then and there that they’d return to the island for the “I do.” Ironwoods Beach put on a great show with glistening tides and showers of warm light. The Maui Beach Elopement

Reverend Kimo began the ceremony with the blowing of the conch shell as Kathryn made her way down the shore. Wearing a lace gown with a low neckline and button accents, Kathryn is simply stunning. We love the vibrant pop of her Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet and matching flower crown. In a traditional navy suit and wearing an unbeatable smile, Randy is the epitome of a happy groom. The love and affection these two share was undeniable.

Our Couple’s Story

Kathryn is a Project Manager in healthcare, and Randy is an  Inspection Supervisor for a municipality. Randy has a 15-year-old son who has special needs and is a wonderful young man. Together they love the outdoors, hiking, beach time, or taking drives. They both love the ocean. Randy was a deep-sea diver and is drawn to the water.

When asked why they decided on a Maui Beach Elopement, Kathryn replied, “Randy’s family is in Kansas and mine is in Oregon. With the pandemic, it just felt like the best decision was to elope.  We know our family and friends will be with us in spirit and cheering us on from afar.” 

Kathryn and Randy crossed paths five years ago. They lived about 90 minutes away, but set up a first date and planned to meet each other at the halfway mark. Kathryn was skeptical about starting something with such a long commute and almost declined the date. Then Randy asked, “But what if there’s magic?” which convinced her to give it a shot. And what magic there was! Their love spell was almost instant and the rest is history.

Peggy and Mark’s Hawaii Beach Elopement was filled with warm sunshine, the soft sounds of the ukulele, and the laughter of love. The golden hour at Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua bathed the shore in warm pastel hues as the ocean rolled gently. With cake and cider and gorgeous cliff portraits to celebrate, this was the perfect way to say “I do.”

Peggy and Mark arrived together, but we ushered Mark to the end of the shore so he could await his bride for her traditional entrance. Wearing a lace-bodice gown with an illusion back and straps, and with her sunny hair twisted into an asymmetrical bun, Peggy was stunning. We love how her Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet added colorful bursts of tropical beauty. Mark looked great in a simple yet classic button-down with black slacks, and the Maui sky wore a spectacular rainbow!

Our Couple’s Story

Peggy and Mark are both nurses and love to bike. In fact, they met in a bike ride group through a mutual friend. Peggy joked to our Maui photographer that she got to stare at Mark’s behind for 30+ miles on their first biking trip together! Kelsey and Kris stood together as the ceremony began. Wearing a simple sweetheart gown with lace applique and waves topped with a delicate flower crown, Kelsey was stunning. Decked out in slate gray with leather accents, Kris looked great himself. We loved the subtle sweet moments shared between our couple, like how Kris gently kissed Kelsey’s lei before draping it over her shoulders. There was so much love on the shore that day! 

Our Couple’s Story

Kelsey and Kris are both lawyers. In their free time, they like to cook together, read books, and play with their two sons… who happen to have tails and meow. Their first trip as a couple was to Oahu and they absolutely loved it. They dreamed of returning and exploring new islands, so the decision to elope in Hawaii came naturally. 

Kelsey and Kris met in law school and began dating in 2015. Turns out, the verdict was love! They got engaged in January of 2019 while on vacation in Mexico when Kris asked Kelsey to marry him over dinner in their hotel room. Kelsey said it was the ideal proposal for her, intimate, private, and emotional.

Tiffany and Steve said “I do” during a Hawaii Beach Wedding filled with love and the cheers of their loved ones. Polo Beach set the stage with golden sands and a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by a semi flower circle of tropical blooms and their four children, Tiffany and Steve began the unparalleled journey of marriage.

On the arm of her adult son, Tiffany made her entrance wearing a casual and flirty floral print gown, perfectly paired with a loose updo and beachy ringlets. Together for a decade, the love and joy shared between Tiffany and Steve as this moment finally came into focus was palpable. We loved the sweet smiles and subtle encouragement of their grown children. With the girls in shades of green and Steve sporting a mosaic tie of a similar hue, the wedding party is perfectly tied together, just as they are by love! 

Our Couple’s Story

Tiffany works in Santa Ana for a Tax Attorney as an Enrolled Agent, and Steve is a Civil Designer/Engineer in Long Beach. Steve has two daughters, Tyler and Corey, and Tiffany has a son, Tyler, and a daughter Brooke, all present during the ceremony. Together they love to drive to the beach, take weekend trips, and just be together.

Tiffany and Steve were introduced over a decade ago by a mutual friend and hit it off right away. But because they’d both been married before and their kids were still young, they decided to take it slow. Then one special day, after eight years together, Steve took Tiffany to their special beach on Diamond Street and asked her to marry him. Mycah waited on the shore for Alexis, and when they turned and took in the sight of their bride, Mycah’s face lit up like the Maui sun. It’s easy to see why! Wearing a simple yet elegant form-fitting gown with boho-inspired prints, Alexis took our breath away. Reverend Richardo officiated the ceremony, and after the touching vows, Alexis and Mycah cut the cake and celebrated their union with a shared bite.

Our Couple’s Story

Alexis is a graduate student working on her master’s degree in counseling, and Mycah is in graduate school working on their Master’s in Strategic Marketing Communications! WoW!! Together they have two furbabies, Bailey and Luna, and look forward to starting a family sometime in the future. 

Alexis and Mycah met through a mutual friend who had a sixth sense that they’d make the perfect couple. And the friend was right! Alexis and Mycah hit it off immediately. Their compatibility was off-the-charts and their relationship only blossomed from there. One day Mycah woke up and knew that day was the day. While they were spending time at their favorite beach, Mycah popped the big question. And now their story comes full circle with a wedding at the beach!
