John and Michael were excited to celebrate 5 yrs of marriage with a Maui Vow Renewal! They even had their ceremony on their anniversary date. How special is that?! They’ve both been to Hawaii before and love Maui, so it was the perfect spot to celebrate this meaningful milestone.
A Musical Touch
Leading up to their Maui Vow Renewal they both expressed how excited they were for their musician. Kason was their ukulele player and they loved his voice! The last song he played was “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” They didn’t mention anything about the song earlier but were so touched because they played that song on their actual wedding date. Talk about amazing!
And these two really are the best of friends, they were so sweet together and knew just how to make each other laugh. Which truly made for a beautiful and unforgettable evening! After taking fun portraits with our sister company, this couple was ready to continue the celebration with a delicious dinner at Mama’s Fish House! Talk about the perfect ending to an already perfect day!

After getting married in June at home in Austria, this couple was excited to experience a more intimate ceremony with a Maui Beach Elopement. While they loved celebrating with family and friends, they also wanted to celebrate their love with a relaxed, carefree and romantic evening in Hawaii. And we are so glad they did!
Ready for Adventure
Anita and Christian met 5 years ago and got engaged last year in Italy, making them more than ready for the adventures of marriage. And they sure do love an adventure! How could you not though when the Swiss Alps are practically in your backyard? They enjoy hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. But when they’re not enjoying their hometown, they love to travel and explore new places! So a Maui Beach Elopement was the perfect way to start them off on the journey of being husband and wife 🙂 .

After meeting on Tinder and starting a family together, this couple was so excited for their Maui Destination Wedding! And they chose a beautiful location for it. Mariela and Jason decided to get married at Po’olenalena Beach because of the forest there. Which was not only amazing in real life but also looked incredible in their wedding photos!
Mariela and Jason’s Maui Destination Wedding took place the same day Hurricane Erick rained on Maui. So while it started out drizzling, it quickly turned into a beautifully soft-lit morning! One of our favorite parts of this wedding was how our bride and groom included their beautiful daughter in the festivities. She looked so cute being held by Mariela during the ceremony and even had a little flower crown to match her mama! How sweet is that?!

This couple wanted their Maui Beach Wedding to look and feel like an elopement. So an intimate ocean setting was perfect for their ceremony! And since Jamie and Zachary live near the coast in Washington, you know they have a love for water. They had both been to Maui before as kids and also came together 2 years ago, so it didn’t take long for them to decide they wanted to get married here!
From the moment Jamie made her entrance with her and Zachary’s best friends, the excitement on her face said it all! This bride and groom could not have been more in love or ready to start the next chapter of their lives together. And we are so glad we could be part of their special day! After taking wedding portraits it was time to head to Nick’s Fishmarket for a celebratory dinner. Talk about a perfect ending to an already perfect day! Having hopped over from Lanai where they live, these two were so excited to celebrate with family at their Maui Beach Wedding. And we couldn’t have asked for a better day for it. Our groom is actually from Maui and has a huge family still living on island so having their wedding here was an easy decision!
Analie and Michael have been together 9 years and have two beautiful daughters, who they were able to include in the ceremony. Aren’t they darling?! We love the life they have built together and love the story of how they met. Analie had called the cops for a property damage complaint and Michale was the cop that came and they just hit it off! What an unexpected way to meet the love of your life, but it’s obvious these two are meant to be together and we are so glad we could be part of their Maui Beach Wedding. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to start our day than with a Maui Beach Elopement! And these grooms are couple goals for sure. Ashton and Kent are southern boys raised in rural North Carolina. They attended the same college but didn’t meet until Ashton moved to Kent’s home county to teach. Ashton teaches chorus and drama while Kent teaches english at the local high schools. They both love music, plays and drama and their English Bulldog, Shoal. And even though he couldn’t be at their ceremony in person our sister company photoshopped a photo of Shoal onto the beach as an added bonus! How cool is that?!
Whenever they go to weddings they judge the desserts so they had to have cake at their Maui Beach Elopement even though it was just the two of them! When we got to Po’olenalena Beach we thought it might rain but the sun quickly came out and we never saw even a drop of rain. Watching as they exchanged personal vows to each other was the sweetest thing! The love they share is truly inspiring. We could not have asked for a more magical evening for Andrea and Taylor’s Maui Beach Wedding. I mean just check out that gorgeous lighting! Especially as the sun was setting. Surrounded by loved ones at Po’olenalena Beach, our bride and groom were more than ready to say, “I do” in paradise!
One thing’s for sure, this was definitely a Maui Beach Wedding to remember. We’re confident this couple and their wedding guests will never forget, we know we sure won’t! After taking sunset wedding portraits with our sister company, our newlyweds headed to Tommy Bahama for a special celebratory dinner. The perfect ending to an already perfect day! We were thrilled when Bria and Michael’s Maui Destination Wedding day finally arrived! Not only was it a beautiful day, but it was also full of excitement. This bride knew she wanted to get married at Poolenalena Beach for two years! So you can imagine how happy she was to finally say, “I do ” on this sandy shore.
And this location definitely didn’t disappoint! I mean just look at it! There was an extra high tide during their ceremony and just before they exchanged leis, a wave surged up almost wetting Bria’s dress. So we quickly moved the ceremony near a tree further inshore. With loved ones, including Bria’s daughter Kaylee standing nearby, this bride and groom were more than ready to get married!
After their first kiss, Bria’s sister played “Under the Sea” from the Little Mermaid. And then it was time for wedding portraits prior to a celebratory dinner at Nick’s Fishmarket. Where Bria had her first Goldfish cracker snacks after a year and a half of being on a paleo diet! We loved watching her celebrate in this simple yet enjoyable way 🙂 . The festive ocean theme of this Maui Destination Wedding made for a very memorable evening for all. Melissa and Jordan’s Maui Beach Wedding was extra special because of the sentimental meaning of the location they chose for their ceremony. Our bride’s father’s ashes were spread on this beach after he passed away 2 years ago. So we love that they were able to honor him by getting married here! They even brought in a musician from Oahu to play special songs, particularly “In this Life” in memory of Melissa’s father.
Coming from the Bay Area our bride and groom have been to Maui lots of times. In fact it’s their favorite island, just another reason why a Maui Beach Wedding was the perfect choice for this couple! And we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening for their wedding. I mean just check out that sunset! Surrounded by friends from high school and college, Brittany and Chace were more than ready to get married at this Maui Beach Wedding! This entire crew was so much fun from the moment they arrived at the beach to the very last minutes after the sun had set! You could tell they were all so excited to celebrate Brittany and Chace’s love for each other. And it’s definitely a love worth celebrating!
Brittany and Chace met a few years ago, and we are so glad they did 🙂 . His roommate and her roommate brought the two together, but that’s not all, these roommates ended up getting married themselves! So of course, they wouldn’t miss coming to this Maui Beach Wedding to watch as our bride and groom said, “I do”. With this being their first time to the island, Jennifer and Christina’s Maui Destination Wedding couldn’t have been more memorable or special! We love that they chose to celebrate their relationship by saying, “I do” in an intimate setting at the beach. After being together for 10 years, they were more than ready to get married!
And even though it wasn’t love at first sight, we are so glad these two ended up together! They tell people that they met at a coffee shop, but they actually met at work. Jennifer did not want to be friends with Christina because she thought she was a slacker. But then they ran into each other outside of work at the coffee shop and hit it off right away. They now have two dogs, a Shih Tzu and a Chihuahua that are like their babies. Check out how cute they are in the photo our bride’s brought with them to their Maui Destination Wedding. Yogi and Kevin were so excited for their Maui Beach Wedding! Plus they were relieved we helped plan the perfect wedding day for them, simple and intimate! With their only wedding guests being both of their parents, it truly was an intimate occasion and one we know they will remember for the rest of their lives.
One of our favorite parts of working with brides and grooms for a Maui Beach Wedding is getting to know the story of how they met. And this is one we particularly love! Kevin is an Army Officer and works as a Foreign Area Officer, so he has moved around every 2 years. He met Yogi in Beijing in 2014 while he was stationed there. After Kevin moved back to the US they had a 4-year long distance relationship until Yogi moved to the US in 2018. Within those four years, they traveled to lots of places together and Kevin proposed while they were on a trip to Taiwan in 2016! How awesome is that? It’s obvious the love they share runs deep and we know they will have the most wonderful life together.
