All The Right Details

Anton & Daria found the perfect balance between simplicity and glamour for their wedding in Maui. Hoping to ease any last-minute jitters, they had a private first look before beginning their ceremony. We loved how that turned out! They were able to share a few moments of quiet time, and take in each other’s beauty before joining their guests at the beach.

Of course Karma Hill Photography was there to capture it all!

A dear friend walked Daria down the aisle to Anton, and then Kahu Sean led them through a heartfelt, Hawaiian-inspired ceremony.

After they had shared emotional vows and exchanged their rings and lei, they officially became husband and wife! The joy was palpable, and their guests were in great spirits as they celebrated with the newlyweds.

The fun was only just beginning, though! We helped create a mini reception on the beach as part of their wedding in Maui. Everyone enjoyed live ukulele and hula as Anton & Daria cut their wedding cake, all while being only steps away from the ocean.

Manutea Nui E provided incredible Hawaiian entertainment, and the musician played a song so that Anton & Daria could have their first dance on the beach. What a sweet memory! Keep scrolling to see how glowing and happy everyone was during each moment!

A Wedding in Maui, A Love for a Lifetime

Anton & Daria look amazing — that much is obvious. But they’re also kind and warm, passionate yet playful. Working with them was a joy, and their personalities brought so much life to their images.

Po‘olenalena Beach was the perfect setting for their ethereal wedding in Maui, and their portraits are dreamy and romantic. The setting sun painted the sky with soft pastels, and the gentle ocean brought a calming presence.

We love how Anton & Daria brought both softness and vibrancy to their Maui wedding day — something that they’ll also bring into their marriage. Sure, things won’t always be pastel skies and endless blue ocean, but with a love like theirs, they can weather any kind of day.

Katie and Buddy’s Maui venue wedding was the perfect sunset occasion! Steeple House was the location, Rev. Kimo Kirkman was the officiant, and Chayce from Manutea Nui E enhanced the mood. Steeple House set a breathtaking backdrop for this event! Not only was the weather impeccable — the scenery was stunning. The afternoon sun was hanging high in the sky, so it shined down on the lush lawn vibrantly. Why We Love Their Maui Venue Wedding

Katie and Buddy’s special day wasn’t just about their connection — it was also a celebration for their family! Our beautiful pair included their four kiddos in every part of their wedding. Their sons were the ring bearers, while their daughters were the flower girls. In addition, Katie and Buddy also got them flower leis! After the ceremony, our radiant newlyweds’ children continued the festivities with pizza and juice for dinner. Then everyone had cupcakes for desserts!

Lastly, we like how Katie and Buddy dressed for their Maui venue wedding! Buddy is a handsome groom — his attire is sophisticated and sharp. We adore how he paired his cool-toned suit with brown shoes; they created a beautiful contrast of colors. Then Katie looks gorgeous! Janet and Richard had an intimate Hawaii wedding on the shores of Lahaina Shores Beach. Three of their favorite people surrounded them as they exchanged vows. Then we got a great photo of Richard! Our groom looked handsome in his khaki suit — we like how his tie added a splash of color. However, our favorite thing is seeing the blissful smile on his face! As soon as Richard saw Janet walk down the sand, it was as if he was seeing her for the first time.

Madison and Austin decided to have a Hawaii venue wedding because they wanted an intimate event! They wanted to celebrate their connection with their loved ones surrounding them. Above all, they wanted their day to feel magical! When we learned this, we ensured planning their ceremony would be a stress-free and smooth process. In the days coming up to their wedding, Madison and Austin felt excited, nervous, and relieved. Most importantly, they were in love! This visit was Madison’s first time on the island. Thankfully, Austin has vacationed in Maui dozens of times with his family. Our groom knew this destination would be the perfect place to tie the knot. We couldn’t agree more — especially since their wedding was impeccable! In every shot captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see how relaxed, fun, family-oriented, and romantic their event was.

The Dreamy Hawaii Venue Wedding

Madison and Austin’s story began when they met online while living in a small college town. At the time, Austin was attending Graduate school, and Madison worked at a local nursing home. When they met in person, they knew they’d found the one! They quickly moved in together and became inseparable.

Our charming couple originally planned to visit Maui in July 2020. However, COVID made them cancel those plans. Instead, Austin’s family decided they should take a group trip to the Oregon Coast. Unknown to Madison, Austin coordinated to have her loved ones join them at this destination. Then, Austin surprised Madison with the beach proposal of her dreams! After getting engaged in such a magical manner — a Hawaii venue wedding is an exquisite way to get married!

Currently, Madison is a nursing home director, while Austin is a school psychologist. Although they don’t have kids, they have a beloved Boston Terrier named Gracie. In their free time, you can find them enjoying tennis or golf, watching football, or exploring the Pacific Northwest!

Last week, we had the pleasure of coordinating Hillary and Adam’s Maui beach wedding. Held on Ironwoods Beach, this function was romantic, elegant, and intimate! Our charming couple looked exquisite. They made this event a family affair by including their little ones in the ceremony! Most importantly, this sunset occasion was a unique experience for Hillary, Adam, and their loved ones. Before the ceremony began, Samantha from Karma Hill Photography captured some lighthearted moments. These little ones were adorable — and full of energy! We could tell they were excited about this event because they were grinning from ear to ear.

The Intimate Maui Beach Wedding

Adam was the first one to arrive at Ironwoods. Once he took his spot by Reverend Kimo Kirkman, it was time to begin the entrances! First, our delightful duo’s daughters walked down the sand and gracefully threw flower petals. After, it was our bride’s turn! Hillary walked down the beach with mom by her side. As expected, Adam’s face was full of nothing but adoration and love when he saw her!

To end this romantic beach wedding in Maui, Hillary and Adam had mini reception on the shoreline! Oren Masserman effortlessly played his ukulele as our radiant newlyweds had their first dance. They even had a sweet moment with their little girls during this tradition! Next, Hillary and Adam had a cake cutting and sparkling cider toast with their guests. However, throughout this post-ceremony celebration, you could see the bliss on Hillary and Adam’s faces. We knew this sunset affair was a dream come true for them!

Danielle told Matthew she wanted to get married in Hawaii for years. After Matthew proposed, they had to determine where they’d tie the knot! Our gorgeous couple had to make a decision whether they were going to have their tropical ceremony or not. Thankfully, they decided to continue with their plan! Gannon’s lush knoll was the location for this event, and this spot created a fairytale-like scene! Most importantly, this lawn was spacious enough for every guest to sit comfortably and enjoy the ceremony. Not to mention, surrounding them are the island’s sensational landscapes! The Beautiful Venue Wedding in Maui

Danielle and Matthew love traveling and being outside — getting married in Maui was fitting for them! Their ceremony was simple, fun, and charming. Reverend Kuya was the officiant, and he delivered a moving Hawaiian religious sermon. Then, throughout this event, Shem from Manutea Nui E enhanced the tranquil atmosphere as he played the ukulele. Lastly, Samantha from Karma Hill Photography captured our delightful duo’s soft smiles and affectionate looks.

Our Couple’s Story

Danielle and Matthew have known one another since Middle School. Although Matthew always asked Danielle out, she continuously declined him. Then during their Junior Year of High School — she said yes, and they started dating! Matthews says Danielle came crawling back to him.

Our lovely duo became engaged in the perfect way; even Danielle says Matthew did everything she wanted! Matthew bought them tickets to the local Christmas Lights Show on December 19. Unknown to Danielle, Matthew had coordinated a whole proposal with this spot and hired a photographer! After he popped the magic question, he surprised Danielle with dinner, and their loved ones attended. Danielle says it was a thoughtful and beautiful evening!

Yinette and Maximo wanted to tie the knot and have a family vacation in one trip. Maui was the perfect destination for them! Then, when it was time to start the ceremony, Reverend Kimo Kirkman delivered a heartfelt sermon. During his speech, Karma Hill Photography and Gaucho Visuals documented every affectionate moment of this event!

Lastly, after Reverend Kimo Kirkman pronounces Vanessa and David as husband and wife, they have a mini reception. The first dance, cake cutting, and sparkling toast were magical moments. Most importantly, they have a radiant glow! Our lovely couple’s faces are filled with bliss and adoration as they look at one another.

Before we headed to the wedding, Rebecca and Amanda had their first looks at Makena Cove. We adored seeing this moment because it was so intimate. The second these brides turned and saw one another — there was nothing but loving smiles on their faces!

The Colorful Maui Beach Wedding

Rebecca and Amanda’s special day was full of vibrant hues! Our stunning brides were both wearing classic but chic ivory gowns. We like how the pastel hues in their Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet from Dellables complement the soft white of their dresses. Then their bridesmaids were wearing a bright shade of coral. Above all, these delicate tones contrast beautifully with the natural color palette around them!

Once the ceremony was over, our radiant newlyweds and their wedding guests enjoyed entertainment from Manutea Nui E. As the ukulele player performed his soothing tunes, the Hula dancer gracefully moved with the music.

However, one of our favorite moments was during the mini reception. You can see the blissful glow radiating from our passionate pair as they cut their cake. There’s no denying they’re savoring these first minutes as a married couple!

After their Maui beach wedding, Amanda and Rebecca continued their celebration with a sunset cruise on the Pride of Maui. We can’t think of a way better way to end a magical day!
