Tina and Kurtis’ venue wedding in Hawaii was full of color! The Four Seasons in Wailea was the location for this event. In the sky above our lovely duo was impeccable weather. Then our stunning bride and groom had radiant smiles on their faces — not to mention they wore chic and elegant attire! Keep scrolling to experience this occasion for yourself.
Standing at the front of the ceremony was a driftwood arch! This rustic decoration is exquisite, and it complements the natural hues of this spot. Above all, the bright-colored floral arrangements adorning it make this archway more elegant!
Then Tina’s pastel Rustic Hawaiian Bouquet by Dellables complements the arch flowers flawlessly. There were many beautiful colors at this event — it’s truly the perfect summer wedding!
In addition to the vivid flower arrangements, the weather also made this wedding vibrant! Surrounding the Four Seasons in Wailea are breathtaking backdrops. The sweeping ocean views, dramatic mountains, and lush greenery are lovely tropical landscapes. Yet, the clear sky and morning sun enhanced the brilliant ambiance! Since a few clouds were present, the sun’s rays shined down on this lush lawn. In every portrait, you can see this radiant glimmer as it creates a luminous but dreamy scene!
However, our favorite thing about Tina and Kurtis’ Hawaii venue wedding was their pure joy! As soon as Reverend Kuya began his sermon, there was nothing but affectionate smiles on our charming duo’s faces. Then during their photo session and reception, you could see their delightful glows. Thankfully, Samantha from Karma Hill Photography captured their newlywed bliss effortlessly!
Congratulations, Tina and Kurtis! Thank you for sharing your colorful day with us. We wish you a future full of love, abundance, and happiness!

Ellen and Jason adore Hawaii! When it was time for them to plan their special day, they knew a Maui venue wedding would be perfect for them. The day they got married was beautiful, elegant, and peaceful! Held at a breathtaking location with the sunset decorating the sky — there was an undeniable romantic ambiance! Continue scrolling to experience this delightful event for yourself.
The Plumeria Point at the Four Seasons in Wailea set the scene for this ceremony. We like this rooftop location because it overlooks the resort and has exquisite ocean views! Then surrounding Ellen and Jason are two charming plumeria trees — effortlessly framing our gorgeous couple! Above all, in every portrait captured by Karma Hill Photography, you can see how enchanting this spot is!
Ellen and Jason wanted their sunset affair to be simple, upscale, and intimate. Fortunately, our delightful couple’s special day checked every box off their list! A musician from Manutea Nui E played his guitar during this event. We like how his tunes created a tranquil mood!
Then, while our bride made her grand entrance, our passionate pair’s friend, Jessica, was singing. Her voice enhanced the magical moment when our bride and groom saw one another for the first time. As Ellen walked down the aisle, you could see nothing but a blissful glow radiating from her! Once Jason saw his bride, he had a look of adoration on his face.
Lastly, Reverend Joe Miles was the minister for this ceremony, and his spiritual sermon was so heartwarming! His words made this Maui venue wedding feel intimate, because every tradition had a powerful meaning.
Ellen and Jason met three years ago in Boulder, Colorado. When the time was right, Jason popped the question in Maui! Our adventurous couple had just finished a lovely beach day in Napili when Jason took Ellen to a scenic point. You could see the whales clapping their tales and the sun sparkling on the ocean. All in all, Ellen says it was the perfect way to get engaged!
Congratulations, Ellen and Jason! Thank you for letting us be part of your elegant wedding day. We hope to see you again on the island. Until then, we wish you a future full of success, love, and happiness!

Cheyenne and Nicholas’ Maui venue wedding took place on Plumeria Point at the Four Seasons in Wailea. Overlooking the glistening ocean and with friends and family cheering them on, this was an unforgettable ceremony!
Cheyenne hoped for a wedding that was relaxing and beautiful, where her guests could sit back and enjoy the event without feeling stressed or anxious. So of course it had to be Hawaii! In fact, Cheyenne often jokes that she’s part-Hawaiian because her mother fell in love with the islands when she was young and Cheyenne grew up with Hawaii taking up a special place in her heart. She even learned to hula dance at the age of four.
Cheyenne’s grace was evident from the start (thanks for the hula lesions, Mom!). Wearing a stunning gown that shimmered and flowed, and with a smile that outshined the Maui sun, Cheyenne was simply radiant. Nicholas’ expression said it all: this was the love of his life. And here they were, tying their lives together with a beautiful Maui venue wedding.
We asked how they met and Cheyenne gave us such a great story, we had to share it here!
Our bride tells their story: “We met in 2015 just before I graduated college at USC. We actually met through a dating app and Nick arranged our first date to be at a sushi restaurant in LA. We’ve been dating ever since! We had big plans to take a trip to Ireland (to get engaged) but once COVID hit, Nick secretly had a backup plan. We drove out to the Outer Banks in North Carolina and Nick proposed at this beautiful state park covered in sand dunes called Jockey’s Ridge. It was just the two of us and a photographer.” How romantic is that?! Keep scrolling for more of this amazing couple!
Congratulations, Cheyenne and Nicholas! Thank you so much for choosing us to coordinate your Maui venue wedding. We wish you all the joy in the decades ahead!

Natasha and Jared’s Hawaii venue wedding was beautiful and relaxing. Set in the Four Seasons Plumeria Point and overlooking the glistening ocean, this was a ceremony right out of the books! Our couple was easygoing and simply ready to be married and celebrate with their family. It was a lovely event.
Wearing Hugo Boss and looking relaxed yet stylish, Jared waited for the love of his life to walk down the aisle. When he turned to take her in, the moment was pure magic. Natasha and Jared say that when they met, the chemistry in their brains changed. And you could certainly see the chemistry during their Hawaii venue wedding! There’s no question that these two will be in love for an eternity.
Following the ceremony, we took our bride and groom down to the ocean so the Karma Hill Photography team could capture their love against the sunset.
Natasha and Jared met at the gym, and as we said earlier, it was a chemical change in their brains! The love was practically instant. Jared is a dentist and Natasha works as a teacher. This is their second marriage for both of them and they have a beautiful blended family with four children. The transition was seamless. Their younger boys don’t even remember what it was like before! Keep scrolling for more of this amazing couple!
Congratulations, Natasha and Jared! We wish you all the happiness in the years to come!

At Simple Maui Wedding, we’ll plan your beautiful ceremony, but we want you to have the best experience, from getting ready to the reception! We’ve put together some of our top Maui wedding reception venues to help you plan your after-party: whether you’d prefer a romantic table for two or a large venue for all your friends and family to dance the night away, Maui has some of the world’s most beautiful options!
Follow along with us as we detail our top Maui wedding reception venues!
Located in the heart of Wailea and just steps from the shores of Polo Beach, the Fairmont Kea Lani offers luxurious accommodations and world-renowned dining. Two of our favorite Maui wedding reception venues are located on the grounds of this resort: Ko Restaurant and Nick’s Fishmarket. Both restaurants offer tropical atmospheres and unbeatable cuisine.
From their website
“Fairmont Kea Lani’s signature restaurant Kō features award-winning cuisine inspired by the vast collection of ethnicities brought together during Maui’s sugarcane plantation era. Taste generations of local cuisine deeply rooted in the island’s culture and history. With over 90% of fish, beef, and produce sourced locally, the flavors are as authentic as they are sustainable.”
Located in the Fairmont Kea Lani, this restaurant sits near Polo Beach and is only a short drive away from any of our South Maui Beaches.
You can choose to either dine within the restaurant for smaller tables or book a private, intimate location surrounded by tropical palm trees, exotic flowers, and flickering torches.
With their intuitive “group dining menus,” planning a reception in Maui has never been easier…
You can add beautiful centerpieces to your Maui wedding floral order to bring an elegant personal touch to the decor of your table.
From their website
“Nick’s Fishmarket blends unique island tastes with a beautiful atmosphere to create a dining experience like to no other in South Maui.”
Nick’s Fishmarket is also situated in the beautiful Fairmont Kea Lani resort in Wailea. The name says it all: their cuisine is famous for its upscale, seafood driven menu, but they do offer meats and vegetarian dishes as well.
They can accommodate an intimate party of 2 at a table overlooking the resort OR they have a private dining room for larger parties that can be decorated however you’d like.
Speaker systems are restricted out of respect to other restaurant guests, but you can have a musician, a small hula show, or even a romantic first dance as husband and wife!
To give it a personal touch, you could add a couple of centerpieces to your flower order or work with our florist to set up the reception decor of your dreams.
Gannon’s Restaurant is one of our favorite venues for Maui weddings. With sweeping panoramic ocean views and spectacular sunsets, Gannon’s is the perfect spot to say “I do” and then party the night away. The grounds are extensive, which means plenty of location options for your Maui reception.
From their website
“Voted one of the Top 100 Best Outdoor Dining Restaurants in America, Gannon’s Restaurant in Wailea is a celebration of the classic dishes for which Chef Beverly Gannon is best known from her award-winning Maui restaurants (Hali’imaile General Store and the former Joe’s Bar & Grill) and contemporary dishes inspired by the fresh local ingredients of Hawaii.”
Gannon’s Lower Lawn is a great option for larger receptions on Maui with a little more focus on the guests’ experience. This reception spot is just off of the restaurant, so it’s private enough that you won’t get other restaurant-goers walking through.
What we love about this location is that it can have the look & feel of a traditional reception (with custom table layouts, a dance floor, and your own bar), but it’s still simple and budget-friendly like a restaurant reception!
It sits right above the ceremony lawn, so if you’re having a Gannon’s Grassy Knoll wedding ceremony, your guests can head right up to the reception while you venture to the beach for sunset newly-wed portraits.
They allow a DJ and dancing at this venue, and they also have an in-house staff that will help you plan the menu, bar, and dancing.
This area is used as a rain backup if you have a wedding planned at Gannon’s. The staff will prepare the area so you have a lovely ceremony set up that they can quickly flip into a reception.
Even though it’s a backup option, it’s still beautiful, lively, and semi-private. There’s enough room for dinner and dancing, and you’ll still be away from the rest of the restaurant.
If it’s not too windy, then you can overflow onto the patio where there are illuminated Palm Trees and a tropical pond.
Gannon’s indoor reception features the same delicious menu and decor options as their outdoor location.
Read our blog to view real Hawaii Destination Weddings! Get inspiration and tips!
You don’t have to book a large reception to enjoy the fabulous food and ambiance of Gannon’s. Their Upper Pond and Lower Pond (see photos above) offer tables on the sweeping terrace of their restaurant that will make your smaller group feel just as special.
You can have a cake cutting and a set menu just like a full reception, and enjoy the beautiful grounds that the golf course offers.
See below for another small table setup at Gannon’s Upper Pond location.
Voted “Top 21 Most Romantic Hotels in the World” by Conde Nast Traveller and “100 Best Hotels in the World” by Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, the Hotel Wailea is more of an oasis than a hotel, and their Maui wedding receptions venues certainly follow suit.
From their website
“The grand Anuhea Ballroom, with its cathedral ceilings, rich hardwood floors, and soaring windowed walls is spectacular. Celebrate your event surrounded by cascading waterfalls on one side and dramatic sunset views across the ocean on the other.”
This space is simply stunning. For a 100% private experience in a hall fit for royalty, there’s no better Maui wedding reception venue than the Anuhea Ballroom in Hotel Wailea.
The hotel staff will expertly deck this elegant hall to accommodate your wedding party and decor. Although the ballroom is more intricate & expensive than their restaurant space (see below), it will allow more customizations, like entertainment, full privacy, and more menu options.
From their website
“Discover the flavors of the islands in a traditional bistro setting with sweeping views of three Hawaiian Islands. The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea showcases its artistry with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from farmers and fishers throughout the region.”
Voted “Top 10 Restaurants in Maui,” this gorgeous Maui wedding reception venue features exquisite cuisine and sweeping panoramic views. You can enjoy the amazing food of The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea in a semi-private outdoor garden setting.
This intimate space is perfect for a quick first dance and quiet enough for a toast.
The Four Seasons in Wailea, Maui is the epitome of high-end luxury. If you love the resort feel, with endless details and refined decor, then this is the venue for you. Situated in the heart of Wailea with an expansive view of the coastline, The Four Seasons Maui is an award-winning resort designed around elegance and luxury with a splash of tropical fun.
If you select this breezy outdoor Maui wedding reception venue, you’ll have views of the resorts fountains and swaying palms. The hotel will do the catering for your meal and the staff will be available to help with decorations and planning.
From their website
“At Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, our golden sands are lined by tropical greenery, towering palm trees and the clear blue waves of the Pacific, creating a picture-perfect setting for one of the most important moments of your life.”
This Maui reception venue at the Four Seasons is intimate and casual, while perfectly melding upscale contemporary with rustic beach vibes. You’ll overlook the ocean as you dine at a private table with a custom menu created by their expert chefs. This locale is one of our personal favorites for small receptions — even the founders of Simple Maui Wedding, Karma & Steve Hill, selected it to celebrate their vow renewal! Check out their sweet photos above.
The Four Seasons also has other lovely lawns to choose from. If a restaurant setting is preferred, this venue has several upscale restaurants such as Spago, Ferraro’s, and Duo to choose from.
From their website
“The 1,500 square foot chapel is a stunning canvas for your ceremony or special event. Your guests will enter through grand French doors to the open room and elevated wooden platform. If you are using The Steeple House for a special event, the altar can serve many entertainment purposes.”
Built in the 1950s, The Steeple House is in the beautiful area of Kapalua, close to Ironwoods Beach and the Ritz Carlton.
This Maui wedding reception venue offers a lovely indoor setting where you can create a custom experience. The venue partners with Celebrations Catering, who can help with food, staffing, rentals, and more.
You can also rent their outdoor lawn for a reception under a tent.
We plan ceremonies here as well, so it’s a great option if you want to keep your ceremony and reception in one place.
Planning on a beach wedding in Hawaii? Or just hoping to elope on the world’s most romantic sandy venue? We’re here to help make your dreams come true!
From their website
“Located at perhaps the most beautiful spot on earth, Merriman’s Kapalua serves the freshest Hawaiian Regional Cuisine with their “Farm to Table” concept. Enjoy year-round sunsets from the dining room or while enjoying a glass of wine on the outdoor lanai.
View spectacular sunsets as you dine at the Merriman’s and indulge in live music during your Maui wedding reception. Their menu features an extensive wine list with numerous specialty cocktails.
You can buy out the entire venue, have a private table on the patio, or simply enjoy a romantic table for two in the restaurant. The Merriman’s Kapalua can accommodate any guest count.
From their website
“Located in the clubhouse of the Plantation Course, the Plantation House Restaurant melds award-winning Hawaiian-Mediterranean cuisine with gracious Hawaiian hospitality. From its unique vantage point on Kapalua’s Plantation Golf Course, the elegant dining room offers panoramic ocean views and breathtaking sunsets.”
Enjoy unparalleled dining with this award-winning restaurant. The Plantation House Restaurant received an ‘Aipono Award for “Most Romantic Restaurant” in 2008. Specializing in fresh fish and island-inspired cuisine, the menu is only rivaled by the breathtaking views.
The Plantation House Restaurant offers a beautiful outdoor setting for ocean view receptions. There are numerous dining options as well, from a fully private meal to a table in their dining room, or a cocktail hour on their patio.

Vibrant, stunning, beautiful—Few words could better describe the jaw-dropping Maui wedding of Anna & George. From the tender smile of the flower girl to the delicate details of the bejeweled accessories, this couture ceremony added a whole new dimension to the modern wedding. The Four Seasons in the heart of Wailea set the stage for a breezy outdoor venue that was luminous with lush greens and the subtle rays of the warm Maui sun.
Ordaining over the ceremony was the inspiring and joyous Hawaiian Kahu Richardo Hanako’o. With Richardo, there’s always laughter and smiles. The couple then exchanged touching vows which beautifully encapsulated their love and brought tears to their guests’ eyes.
Draped in a stylish mermaid gown with lace details, Anna radiated a confident and romantic spirit, which is only to be expected during such a gorgeous celebration. We love how her glowing entourage of luminous bridesmaids were wrapped in a dusky rose that perfectly complemented the blush of the breathtaking bride.
Our eyes and hearts were dancing along with the stunning couple as they celebrated their union to the tune of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “White Sandy Beach.” The love they have for each other shone so brightly it was impossible to miss. This is clearly just the beginning.

Destiney and Tristan were so sweet at their Four Seasons Maui Wedding. Which makes sense since they are actually high school sweethearts! They started dating their sophomore year, and have now been together for 7 years and engaged for 2. They were so comfortable with each other and cracking jokes throughout their vows and even after the ceremony!
Before the wedding started, the father of the bride said it seems like it was just yesterday she was a baby heading home from the hospital and now his baby is getting married. Destiney’s dad also had a really cute moment with the groom off to the side just before the ceremony. So as you can see, this really was the most special day and we feel so honored to have been part of it!
Thank you so much, Destiney and Tristan, for letting Simple Maui Wedding celebrate with you at your Four Seasons Maui Wedding. We are so glad Tristan had the idea to get married here in paradise! And that we could help make it a reality!

After meeting online and dating for 3 years, Jessica and Nicholas were excited to celebrate their love with a Maui Destination Wedding. And it was definitely a celebration to remember! So we love that they chose to invite their closest loved ones to join them!
We thought it was especially fun that 2 of the couples in attendance at their Maui Destination Wedding share the same anniversary date! One couple celebrating 7 years, the other couple celebrating 1 year. Jessica even joked that they would be able to take anniversary trips together! How fun, and we think Maui would be the perfect place for them to come back to 😉 . Thank you, Jessica and Nicholas, for asking Simple Maui Wedding to help make this day every bit as special as your relationship! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!

On a beautiful afternoon at the Four Seasons, Fiorella and Joseph, gathered with loved ones to have the Maui Destination Wedding of their dreams. Before the ceremony started our bride shared a first look moment with her father, prior to him walking her down the aisle. We love that they were able to enjoy this quite time alone before the wedding festivities began!
As soon as Joseph saw Fiorella making her way towards him the most peaceful look came across his face. It’s obvious these two are head over heels for each other! So we have no doubts they will have the most amazing lives together as husband and wife 🙂 . Getting to plan Candice and Ken’s Maui Venue Wedding was amazing! This bride and groom were so sweet together and had the best time celebrating their love. We absolutely love the story of how they met. It all started 10 years ago when Candice was single and visiting a friend at a construction site Ken owned. Her friend asked Candice if she was interested in any of the construction workers around. Candice replied, “Not any of the workers, I’m more interested in the owner!” After that, they met up for pizza and immediately hit it off 🙂 . They now have two beautiful kids and a beautiful life together.
Now weddings with little kids can sometimes be tricky, but these two were up for the challenge and stayed “go with the flow”. They wanted to include their son and daughter in meaningful yet appropriate ways. Which we love! How cute is this photo of their little girl running down the aisle in front of them after the ceremony? She was absolutely darling in a white dress with a blue sash and bow to match her mother who wore a Pronovias wedding dress and blue shoes. It’s all about the details and this Maui Venue Wedding was full of thoughtful touches! We especially love that the couple brought a “Just Maui’d” sign made by Candice’s mother. And ended their evening by taking a photo with it at their reception location! So fun! Thank you, Candice and Ken, for sharing your special day with Simple Maui Wedding. Amy and Stephen had a beautiful setting for their Maui Venue Wedding. We love that they chose to include this Vintage Styled Arch for a sweet romantic vibe! How cute are those little antique canisters with flowers in them? We can’t get enough! Set up on a grassy lawn overlooking the ocean, this bride and groom were more than ready to get married.
After reading heartfelt vows to each other and saying, “I do”, we love the way Amy leapt into Stephen’s arms for their first kiss as husband and wife! Such an adorable moment and we are so glad our sister company, Karma Hill Photography, captured it on camera 🙂 . And these two were looking absolutely picture perfect! Amy was the most beautiful bride in a gorgeous wedding gown that fit her perfectly. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo with a veil and floral hair accessory for the finishing touch. We loved her entire look, she was absolutely stunning from head to toe. Even her shoes were perfection, and just the right pop of color to compliment her groom’s red bowtie and pocket square. In a traditional suit, Stephen was looking classy and wedding ready!
The Four Seasons was the perfect location for this couple’s Maui Venue Wedding! They were able to have a cocktail hour on the ceremony lawn with a reception at a restaurant on the same property. So convenient, which is always the best! Thank you, Amy and Stephen, for letting Simple Maui Wedding celebrate with you on your wedding day! Congratulations and Warm Aloha!
